00:05:00 00:05:04 000 followers they have their store
00:05:02 00:05:05 right in their bio so we know that
00:05:04 00:05:08 they're advertising directly to that
00:05:05 00:05:10 link and they have so many creatives out
00:05:08 00:05:13 I mean so many creatives and this is
00:05:10 00:05:14 ultimately a huge advantage of tiktok
00:05:13 00:05:16 and as you can see these advertisements
00:05:14 00:05:18 are way different than the Facebook
00:05:16 00:05:20 advertisements as they're very short
00:05:18 00:05:22 very simple and directly to the purpose
00:05:20 00:05:23 so they just literally highlighted the
00:05:22 00:05:25 comment and made an advertisement
00:05:23 00:05:27 directly around it and another huge
00:05:25 00:05:29 advantage that they're doing is using
00:05:27 00:05:30 those tiktok trending songs that are
00:05:29 00:05:32 currently working so let's go ahead and
00:05:30 00:05:34 listen to this one and see what song
00:05:32 00:05:34 they're using
00:05:36 00:05:41 so they use a very trending song they're
00:05:39 00:05:43 using very trending hashtags they're
00:05:41 00:05:45 using comment replies to be able to make
00:05:43 00:05:48 even stronger creatives than they've
00:05:45 00:05:50 used before and I mean there's just so
00:05:48 00:05:52 much opportunity for creativity here and
00:05:50 00:05:53 I know that this video is something that
00:05:52 00:05:55 you guys really haven't seen much from
00:05:53 00:05:58 me about but understanding that there's
00:05:55 00:05:59 so much opportunity out there it's just
00:05:58 00:06:00 a matter of getting the right
00:05:59 00:06:02 information and being able to understand
00:06:00 00:06:04 it to have it benefit you because
00:06:02 00:06:05 remember it's not about how much money
00:06:04 00:06:07 you can make in this world but how much

00:07:53 00:07:58 images as well and they even have
00:07:56 00:08:00 reviews so this is essentially the same
00:07:58 00:08:02 product page that I would use for if I
00:08:00 00:08:03 was advertising on Facebook so that is a
00:08:02 00:08:05 great benefit is you don't have to
00:08:03 00:08:07 really change much up so the product
00:08:05 00:08:09 page is basically the exact same so now
00:08:07 00:08:10 that we understand how to structure our
00:08:09 00:08:12 product page around our tiktok
00:08:10 00:08:13 advertisement let's just cover the
00:08:12 00:08:15 biggest difference between tiktok and
00:08:13 00:08:17 Facebook advertising so we'll start with
00:08:15 00:08:20 tiktok ads first tiktok ads are
00:08:17 00:08:22 typically 10 to 15 seconds long it's
00:08:20 00:08:24 typically a voice over or any type of
00:08:22 00:08:26 trading song highlighting the features
00:08:24 00:08:27 and benefits of the product and they're
00:08:26 00:08:30 always highlighting the product being
00:08:27 00:08:33 used now on Facebook these are typically
00:08:30 00:08:35 25 to 45 second videos it shows a lot of
00:08:33 00:08:37 different people using the product and
00:08:35 00:08:38 instead of showing all the features and
00:08:37 00:08:40 benefits like tiktok does with the
00:08:38 00:08:42 product actually being used Facebook
00:08:40 00:08:44 uses text to be able to highlight the
00:08:42 00:08:45 features and benefits the best so now we
00:08:44 00:08:47 understand the biggest difference in
00:08:45 00:08:49 advertising with tiktok ads versus
00:08:47 00:08:51 Facebook we know how to structure our
00:08:49 00:08:53 creatives we know what our landing page
00:08:51 00:08:54 should be like and now I'm here to show
00:08:53 00:08:56 you guys how to be able to set up your
00:08:54 00:08:57 first advertisement so for you guys to
00:08:56 00:08:59 be able to set up your first
00:08:57 00:09:02 advertisement with tiktok you have to
00:08:59 00:09:04 go to tiktok.adds.com so after
00:09:02 00:09:06 entering your basic information this is
00:09:04 00:09:07 the type of screen you'll be on so as
00:09:06 00:09:08 you guys can see this is the campaign
00:09:07 00:09:11 and you just come over here to click
00:09:08 00:09:12 create here just like Facebook we are
00:09:11 00:09:14 always looking for website conversions
00:09:12 00:09:15 so I'm going to go ahead and stay with
00:09:14 00:09:17 that feature so we're going to stik
00:09:15 00:09:18 with website conversions and then here
00:09:17 00:09:20 with the campaign name you just name
00:09:18 00:09:22 this after whatever product you're
00:09:20 00:09:24 currently advertising with so for
00:09:22 00:09:25 example if I'm gonna do a baby bed I'm
00:09:24 00:09:29 just going to name the campaign baby bed
00:09:25 00:09:32 click continue and now we are on the ad
00:09:29 00:09:33 Group which is similar to the ad set so
00:09:32 00:09:35 the ad group name is going to be after
00:09:33 00:09:36 the interest that you're currently
00:09:35 00:09:38 targeting so we'll come back to this
00:09:36 00:09:40 next you select your tiktok pixel so
00:09:38 00:09:42 I'm not going to dive deep into how to
00:09:40 00:09:43 install your tiktok pixel as it's
00:09:42 00:09:45 very simple you can look around all of
00:09:43 00:09:47 YouTube but you just really just go to
00:09:45 00:09:49 Shopify add The tiktok app to your
00:09:47 00:09:51 store and the integration is so easy
00:09:49 00:09:54 come over here to your optimization
00:09:51 00:09:56 event and I always select complete
00:09:54 00:09:57 payment which is the same as purchasing
00:09:56 00:09:59 as we scroll down we come over here to
00:09:57 00:10:01 placement type we can either do

00:10:22 00:10:26 we're on the demographics so always keep
00:10:25 00:10:28 it broad on gender No Limit not
00:10:26 00:10:30 targeting just males or just females but
00:10:28 00:10:32 keeping it broad I've personally seen
00:10:30 00:10:34 the best conversions from only
00:10:32 00:10:36 advertising to 20 five or older so I'm
00:10:34 00:10:38 gonna come over here and just select 25
00:10:36 00:10:41 and older languages you can keep it
00:10:38 00:10:43 broad click show more options and now we
00:10:41 00:10:44 are on the interesting behavior and this
00:10:43 00:10:46 is the biggest difference between
00:10:44 00:10:48 Facebook ads and tiktok ads is
00:10:46 00:10:49 there's no specific interest that you
00:10:48 00:10:51 can be able to advertise towards so it's
00:10:49 00:10:54 not an individual interest but it's more

00:11:09 00:11:13 devices I just advertise towards any
00:11:11 00:11:15 device but here you can specifically do
00:11:13 00:11:18 iPhone users or Android users but again
00:11:15 00:11:20 I like to start off broad all right now
00:11:18 00:11:22 it's time for the budget and the bid so
00:11:20 00:11:24 daily budget does depend on kind of what
00:11:22 00:11:26 you want to spend but I always advise
00:11:24 00:11:28 starting with 50 to 100 so if I'm gonna
00:11:26 00:11:30 do 50 here I'm always going to schedule
00:11:28 00:11:32 it towards the next day so I'm going to
00:11:30 00:11:34 go ahead and make this the 6th since
00:11:32 00:11:37 today is the is and now we are on our
00:11:34 00:11:39 bid so for me what worked the best was
00:11:37 00:11:41 honestly just keeping lowest cost to be

00:11:57 00:12:01 ad level and this is where you add your
00:11:59 00:12:03 advertisement so you just come over here
00:12:01 00:12:04 update your creative already made a
00:12:03 00:12:06 random tiktok creative so that's what
00:12:04 00:12:07 I'm going to go ahead and add in this
00:12:06 00:12:10 example so we're going to name our ad
