00:01:19 00:01:23 got here so quickly just to give you
00:01:21 00:01:26 guys a little background story on me
00:01:23 00:01:28 is um i grew up in west philly in a in a
00:01:26 00:01:30 in a in the ghettos or west philly i was
00:01:28 00:01:31 raised by my mom and grandma because my
00:01:30 00:01:32 dad was
00:01:31 00:01:34 in jail since i was two years old for
00:01:32 00:01:36 committing murder he actually just died
00:01:34 00:01:37 in jail about a year ago so my entire
00:01:36 00:01:38 life
00:01:37 00:01:40 i didn't have a father figure to
00:01:38 00:01:41 actually look up so i had a step dad but
00:01:40 00:01:42 that
00:01:41 00:01:44 that was like worth nothing at that
00:01:42 00:01:46 moment so i never really had a father
00:01:44 00:01:48 figure to look up to
00:01:46 00:01:50 all going throughout school my mom
00:01:48 00:01:52 always said i want to give my son the
00:01:50 00:01:53 best life that she could right with the
00:01:52 00:01:54 money she had with the money she was
00:01:53 00:01:56 making
00:01:54 00:01:57 her idea of that of course is giving me
00:01:56 00:01:59 a better education
00:01:57 00:02:00 and i'm going to let you know that
00:01:59 00:02:02 changed the game for me not because i
00:02:00 00:02:04 got a better education because i was
00:02:02 00:02:06 exposed i tell people this all the time
00:02:04 00:02:08 i feel like the number one way for you
00:02:06 00:02:10 to reach a goal like
00:02:08 00:02:11 my top five is to get exposed to
00:02:10 00:02:12 something new right and my favorite
00:02:11 00:02:14 quote is
00:02:12 00:02:15 once your mind is expanding to a new
00:02:14 00:02:17 concept or idea it's hard to go back to
00:02:15 00:02:19 its original way of thinking
00:02:17 00:02:21 so what happened to me was i went to the
00:02:19 00:02:23 school called archbishop carol
00:02:21 00:02:25 there was a thousand kids in there 50
00:02:23 00:02:27 african-american kids there
00:02:25 00:02:30 i used to catch the train there kids had
00:02:27 00:02:31 benzes they had bmws i'm like what like
00:02:30 00:02:32 what's going on there i took an hour
00:02:31 00:02:34 train
00:02:32 00:02:35 to a township called ratner and it was
00:02:34 00:02:37 just
00:02:35 00:02:38 it was amazing to me just to see like
00:02:37 00:02:40 wait it's a different life
00:02:38 00:02:42 i would go spend the night at my friends
00:02:40 00:02:43 homes they had pool houses
00:02:42 00:02:45 they had four wheelers they had all of
00:02:43 00:02:46 this on their property their property
00:02:45 00:02:48 set on
00:02:46 00:02:50 acres of land um i would walk through
00:02:48 00:02:52 the back of one of my friend's homes and
00:02:50 00:02:53 go to another friend's home she had a
00:02:52 00:02:55 theater in the house
00:02:53 00:02:56 so for me you got to understand i'm used
00:02:55 00:02:58 to a roll home drug infested
00:02:56 00:03:00 neighborhood i didn't know anything else
00:02:58 00:03:02 so i went to the school that opened up
00:03:00 00:03:04 my mindset to take tell me nehemiah you
00:03:02 00:03:05 actually can become more
00:03:04 00:03:07 what i ended up doing i didn't do too
00:03:05 00:03:09 well in that school 9th 10th or 11th
00:03:07 00:03:10 grade resulted me and getting kicked out
00:03:09 00:03:12 of school
00:03:10 00:03:13 then i went to a new school i decided to
00:03:12 00:03:13 do better there and then i went to
00:03:13 00:03:15 college
00:03:13 00:03:17 went to college same attitude yo i'm
00:03:15 00:03:19 gonna go do great in college
00:03:17 00:03:20 i did great for about two months start
00:03:19 00:03:22 hanging around the wrong people started
00:03:20 00:03:23 doing the wrong things and i got kicked
00:03:22 00:03:25 out of college
00:03:23 00:03:26 up until this point i already had nine
00:03:25 00:03:29 jobs i worked at college
00:03:26 00:03:31 i worked at mcdon not uh i worked
00:03:29 00:03:33 cleaning mcdonald's radiator grates like
00:03:31 00:03:33 i worked at william penn camp i
00:03:33 00:03:36 literally
00:03:33 00:03:37 gennard's like i had so many darn jobs
00:03:36 00:03:39 it's probably more
00:03:37 00:03:40 than actually 10 but i say that because
00:03:39 00:03:42 it's probably 12
00:03:40 00:03:43 13 but i know for sure i wrote down how
00:03:42 00:03:46 many i remember
00:03:43 00:03:48 not being fired from so what happened to
00:03:46 00:03:50 me was my final job which
00:03:48 00:03:52 literally changed the direction of my
00:03:50 00:03:54 life i worked at the private airport
00:03:52 00:03:55 called atlantik aviation
00:03:54 00:03:57 and every single day i was really the
00:03:55 00:03:58 poop boy i would go on a private jets
00:03:57 00:04:00 and i would remove
00:03:58 00:04:01 when they go to bathroom when the jet
00:04:00 00:04:03 lands i would vacuum the jet that was my
00:04:01 00:04:04 job i would drive
00:04:03 00:04:07 people from their jets to the airport
00:04:04 00:04:08 whatever they told me to do i would do
00:04:07 00:04:10 but every single day i saw multiple
00:04:08 00:04:12 millionaires multi-billionaires
00:04:10 00:04:14 getting on and off of their plane so to
00:04:12 00:04:15 me i'm like yo
00:04:14 00:04:17 you tell me i could have this type of
00:04:15 00:04:19 lifestyle this exists
00:04:17 00:04:21 and everybody there was so close minded
00:04:19 00:04:24 like when people were flying
00:04:21 00:04:25 they will always say it must be nice and
00:04:24 00:04:27 i've never once agreed with that
00:04:25 00:04:29 statement always in my mind
00:04:27 00:04:32 it will be nice i remember getting on uh
00:04:29 00:04:34 donald trump's plane 230 passenger plane
00:04:32 00:04:36 almost converted to a house essentially
00:04:34 00:04:38 white carpet everywhere gold everywhere
00:04:36 00:04:40 and to me that was inspiring right just
00:04:38 00:04:43 seeing like somebody got a plane list
00:04:40 00:04:44 like a house uh owner of the cowboys
00:04:43 00:04:46 playing tv jake's playing you name it
00:04:44 00:04:47 i've been on so many people's different
00:04:46 00:04:49 planes
00:04:47 00:04:51 but that opened up my mindset eventually
00:04:49 00:04:53 i got fired from there
00:04:51 00:04:55 fast forward me getting fired from that
00:04:53 00:04:58 partikular job um
00:04:55 00:04:59 i said yo people were like you know
00:04:58 00:05:00 you're never going to amount to anything
00:04:59 00:05:02 neo you never gonna make this happen and
00:05:00 00:05:04 the problem is i almost listened to them
00:05:02 00:05:05 so one of my things that i tell most
00:05:04 00:05:07 people
00:05:05 00:05:09 is never listen to that like so many
00:05:07 00:05:11 people listen to that where hey
00:05:09 00:05:13 i'm sure people told you peter you don't
00:05:11 00:05:14 need to go do what you do full time like
00:05:13 00:05:17 what you crazy what about
00:05:14 00:05:18 401k what about retiring what about like
00:05:17 00:05:20 people will put all of these
00:05:18 00:05:21 false things in your brain and end up
00:05:20 00:05:23 allowing you to do nothing
00:05:21 00:05:25 and what happened to me in that in that
00:05:23 00:05:26 very moment was i said yo y'all right
00:05:25 00:05:27 maybe if i keep going down the wrong
00:05:26 00:05:29 path
00:05:27 00:05:30 maybe if i keep doing the things wrong i
00:05:29 00:05:31 won't amount to anything and at that
00:05:30 00:05:33 moment i made a switch
00:05:31 00:05:35 i said yo enough is enough and i started
00:05:33 00:05:36 utilizing a certain statement and term
00:05:35 00:05:39 that i say
00:05:36 00:05:40 which it has to work or it has to work
00:05:39 00:05:42 that's something that i believe in
00:05:40 00:05:43 and what i ended up doing was i started
00:05:42 00:05:46 my first fruit truck
00:05:43 00:05:48 and i got my book i wish i could get it
00:05:46 00:05:50 guys for a year straight the most money
00:05:48 00:05:51 i ever made profit was 20
00:05:50 00:05:53 that's the things people don't see
00:05:51 00:05:54 people seeing all this glam and glitter
00:05:53 00:05:55 but they don't know how much how i used
00:05:54 00:05:57 to grind
00:05:55 00:05:58 they don't know how my grandma used to
00:05:57 00:05:59 work on that food truck with me they
00:05:58 00:06:00 don't know how my mom used to work on
00:05:59 00:06:01 that food truck
00:06:00 00:06:03 after the fruit truck we went to the
00:06:01 00:06:05 junk removal in the cleaning company
00:06:03 00:06:07 they don't see me at two in the morning
00:06:05 00:06:09 driving around picking up scrap metal
00:06:07 00:06:10 two in the morning i didn't even know
00:06:09 00:06:13 this internet world exists p
00:06:10 00:06:16 i say it all the time i'ma say i wish
00:06:13 00:06:18 somebody even exposed me to this
00:06:16 00:06:19 10 12 like 12 years ago i wish cause it
00:06:18 00:06:21 was around
00:06:19 00:06:22 but i was before my time and i didn't
00:06:21 00:06:23 know so i'm sitting there doing all
00:06:22 00:06:26 these other things
00:06:23 00:06:27 labor job with super labor intensive
00:06:26 00:06:28 driving around two in the morning trying
00:06:27 00:06:31 to find scrap metal
00:06:28 00:06:32 my truck i had to spray paint the the
00:06:31 00:06:33 windows because i couldn't afford no
00:06:32 00:06:34 tent
00:06:33 00:06:36 so people don't really see those things
00:06:34 00:06:38 so fast for today
00:06:36 00:06:40 we went moving company junk removal
00:06:38 00:06:41 company opened my mom a vitamin store we
00:06:40 00:06:43 went real estate
00:06:41 00:06:44 we went event spaces we went digital
00:06:43 00:06:45 marketing and the rest is literally
00:06:44 00:06:47 history now
00:06:45 00:06:48 but i share that with people because
00:06:47 00:06:50 they just see i've been a full-time
00:06:48 00:06:52 entrepreneur the last 14 years
00:06:50 00:06:53 and i tell people the number one reason
00:06:52 00:06:55 why i'm still here is i
00:06:53 00:06:57 operate with a certain statement it has
00:06:55 00:06:59 to work where it has to work
00:06:57 00:07:00 i don't know another way most people
00:06:59 00:07:02 give themselves a plan b
00:07:00 00:07:04 i don't have one i don't i literally
00:07:02 00:07:06 don't know nothing else i don't even
00:07:04 00:07:07 know what a 401k is i don't know what a
00:07:06 00:07:10 retirement plan is
00:07:07 00:07:13 like i don't i don't even like none of
00:07:10 00:07:16 those things even exist in my mind
00:07:13 00:07:17 i am my retirement so i think
00:07:16 00:07:19 sorry i've adopted that mindset you
00:07:17 00:07:20 could really go very far there's so much
00:07:19 00:07:21 in there i didn't even know you went to
00:07:20 00:07:23 archbishop
00:07:21 00:07:25 i went to i went to i went to judge and
00:07:23 00:07:26 you know it's funny we have a similar
00:07:25 00:07:27 story man because my
00:07:26 00:07:30 my parents came here from poland when
00:07:27 00:07:33 they were like 17 16 17 18 years old
00:07:30 00:07:35 didn't speak any english at all right
00:07:33 00:07:36 and had to figure it out to send me to
00:07:35 00:07:38 those kind of schools right because
00:07:36 00:07:39 you know you know i don't know if people
00:07:38 00:07:41 are saying philly you know public
00:07:39 00:07:44 schools aren't really the best
00:07:41 00:07:45 right it's yeah like i remember i lived
00:07:44 00:07:46 across the street when i grew up in
00:07:45 00:07:48 fishtown before it was cool to live in
00:07:46 00:07:49 fishtown and like
00:07:48 00:07:50 you know i used to always get picked on
00:07:49 00:07:52 i lived across the street from a public
00:07:50 00:07:53 public school and there was all
00:07:52 00:07:55 you know always fights and it was just
00:07:53 00:07:56 you know it wasn't the best especially
00:07:55 00:07:59 in the 90s
00:07:56 00:08:00 um but uh you know i kind of love the
00:07:59 00:08:02 what you mentioned when you
00:08:00 00:08:03 you worked at the private jet place um
00:08:02 00:08:04 because
00:08:03 00:08:06 you mentioned like you know similar to
00:08:04 00:08:07 like hey if you listen to 99 you're
00:08:06 00:08:10 going to end up like the 99
00:08:07 00:08:12 right so what
00:08:10 00:08:14 you know what have you seen like because
00:08:12 00:08:15 like why are some people
00:08:14 00:08:17 right why do some people be like they
00:08:15 00:08:18 use it as inspiration they're like oh
00:08:17 00:08:20 man like i can achieve this they have
00:08:18 00:08:22 that vision themselves
00:08:20 00:08:23 versus like those people that are just
00:08:22 00:08:24 like
00:08:23 00:08:27 like oh this is like this doesn't work
00:08:24 00:08:28 right like they got lucky they inherited
00:08:27 00:08:30 it they they look what do you
00:08:28 00:08:32 see like because it's such a divide like
00:08:30 00:08:33 that i found and like just even
00:08:32 00:08:35 an online business and you probably see
00:08:33 00:08:36 this too it's like people oh this
00:08:35 00:08:37 doesn't work this doesn't work
00:08:36 00:08:39 no one's actually making money like you
00:08:37 00:08:40 know that can never be me versus the
00:08:39 00:08:42 people that are like use this kind of as
00:08:40 00:08:44 a source of inspiration like
00:08:42 00:08:47 what would you say to those people hey
00:08:44 00:08:48 pete they got stinking thinking
00:08:47 00:08:50 literally they literally got stinking
00:08:48 00:08:51 thinking i tell people all the time
00:08:50 00:08:53 whatever you tune into you turn into and
00:08:51 00:08:55 whatever entertains you trains you
00:08:53 00:08:56 the problem with so many people is
00:08:55 00:08:57 they're tuning in to the wrong
00:08:56 00:08:59 information
00:08:57 00:09:00 they're they're around a bunch of people
00:08:59 00:09:02 who tell them it won't work
00:09:00 00:09:04 they're telling them that's a scam
00:09:02 00:09:05 they're telling them it's not possible
00:09:04 00:09:08 and what happens is they start getting
00:09:05 00:09:10 it think about if you sat around
00:09:08 00:09:12 i don't smoke i don't drink right i i
00:09:10 00:09:14 drunk when i was about 18 i got drunk
00:09:12 00:09:16 and that was enough for me to not
00:09:14 00:09:18 stop but most people who drink most
00:09:16 00:09:20 people will smoke there's nothing wrong
00:09:18 00:09:22 with doing either of the two
00:09:20 00:09:24 but most people you don't just wake up
00:09:22 00:09:26 and say let me go ahead and try a bear
00:09:24 00:09:28 let me go ahead and try smoking i don't
00:09:26 00:09:32 think anyone ever did that let me just
00:09:28 00:09:33 someone said hey try this hey try this

00:09:33 00:09:37 try this marijuana oh crap i like how it

00:09:37 00:09:42 so it was a point of exposure but the
00:09:40 00:09:44 problem is we're often exposed to the
00:09:42 00:09:45 wrong things and the second real problem

00:09:45 00:09:50 we never had an example so it's hard for
00:09:48 00:09:51 you to ever really achieve something
00:09:50 00:09:53 when you don't have the example what i
00:09:51 00:09:54 look at for me in order for me to
00:09:53 00:09:56 generate more money in order for me to
00:09:54 00:09:59 do some of the things i do
00:09:56 00:10:01 i find the example of an individual who
00:09:59 00:10:03 came from where i came from and is now
00:10:01 00:10:06 living their dream life
00:10:03 00:10:07 oh crap they did it so i look for
00:10:06 00:10:09 examples with
00:10:07 00:10:10 problem is we are looking at the wrong
00:10:09 00:10:11 things we're tuning into gossip
00:10:10 00:10:14 television
00:10:11 00:10:15 we're tuning in uh all day videos on
00:10:14 00:10:16 youtube that aren't nourishing that
00:10:15 00:10:18 aren't feeding us
00:10:16 00:10:20 so what the problem is those individuals
00:10:18 00:10:21 got to get on the other side of the game
00:10:20 00:10:24 they got to start speaking life over
00:10:21 00:10:26 themselves saying affirmations i'm smart
00:10:24 00:10:27 i'm challenging my next big my big idea
00:10:26 00:10:28 is on the way
00:10:27 00:10:30 like amazing things are happening to me
00:10:28 00:10:32 like you got to really build your
00:10:30 00:10:33 mindset before you build your skill set
00:10:32 00:10:35 before you even think about an ecom
00:10:33 00:10:35 store you need to be working on your
00:10:35 00:10:37 mind
00:10:35 00:10:39 like i've been on this mindset for the
00:10:37 00:10:41 last 13 14 years reading the secret
00:10:39 00:10:43 reading think and grow rich watching
00:10:41 00:10:45 this stuff every single day and
00:10:43 00:10:48 literally consuming it
00:10:45 00:10:49 so now i know i can't even think outside
00:10:48 00:10:50 of becoming successful because i don't
00:10:49 00:10:52 know another way
00:10:50 00:10:54 and then the people who i'm around i
00:10:52 00:10:56 tok to you i tok to all my friends
00:10:54 00:10:57 everyone is successful everyone is
00:10:56 00:10:59 making it happen
00:10:57 00:11:00 so because everyone is successful and
00:10:59 00:11:03 everyone's making it happen
00:11:00 00:11:04 it makes me push every single day i
00:11:03 00:11:05 can't slack because you're not going to
00:11:04 00:11:08 let me
00:11:05 00:11:10 no that that it there's so i mean so
00:11:08 00:11:12 so many golden nuggets there man because
00:11:10 00:11:15 it's it it's crazy
00:11:12 00:11:17 um like because it's still it's you and
00:11:15 00:11:19 again you see it there's there's that
00:11:17 00:11:21 divide where
00:11:19 00:11:24 i think the reason this divide happens
00:11:21 00:11:26 also it's not just the mindset but it's
00:11:24 00:11:28 and it's corny to say but it's like the
00:11:26 00:11:29 the reasons to do it right because
00:11:28 00:11:31 there's a lot of people that come into
00:11:29 00:11:32 online businesses
00:11:31 00:11:34 and they're just like oh they'll give it
00:11:32 00:11:36 a try maybe two times it doesn't work
00:11:34 00:11:39 scam doesn't work whatever and they quit
00:11:36 00:11:40 like what you know and i know like so we
00:11:39 00:11:42 can dive into it like
00:11:40 00:11:43 don't you think you looked at those
00:11:42 00:11:46 things because you had a strong
00:11:43 00:11:47 reason to actually believe that it works
00:11:46 00:11:48 right
00:11:47 00:11:50 and like how would you even like suggest
00:11:48 00:11:51 somebody that you know you know they
00:11:50 00:11:52 tried
00:11:51 00:11:54 five different business opportunities
00:11:52 00:11:56 none of them work right for them
00:11:54 00:11:58 you know and so they think it's a scam
00:11:56 00:11:59 and they've essentially all but given up
00:11:58 00:12:01 right so what are you telling to them
00:11:59 00:12:02 because i really think the why or the
00:12:01 00:12:03 reason
00:12:02 00:12:06 for it because like man like you know
00:12:03 00:12:06 this like entrepreneurship it sucks it's
00:12:06 00:12:08 hard
00:12:06 00:12:09 right most people aren't cut out to be
00:12:08 00:12:11 this right there's a lot of yeah there's
00:12:09 00:12:12 a lot of positivity you get to control
00:12:11 00:12:14 your finances all that stuff you get to
00:12:12 00:12:16 have a lot of fun
00:12:14 00:12:17 but with that comes a insane amount of
00:12:16 00:12:18 stress you gotta
00:12:17 00:12:20 you have to wake up for yourself for
00:12:18 00:12:22 your family for you know
00:12:20 00:12:24 for for your kids every single day right
00:12:22 00:12:25 which most people aren't cut out
00:12:24 00:12:27 for so what are you telling to that
00:12:25 00:12:27 person that you know is maybe trying a
00:12:27 00:12:29 bunch of different things
00:12:27 00:12:31 isn't it finding success they're reading
00:12:29 00:12:32 the books they're watching the courses
00:12:31 00:12:33 they're they're doing those things but
00:12:32 00:12:35 they're just not
00:12:33 00:12:36 finding success and they're on that that
00:12:35 00:12:39 that kind of like kick where did
00:12:36 00:12:42 i i quit hey listen to me pete i i was
00:12:39 00:12:44 doing the analyzation yesterday
00:12:42 00:12:47 and i realized when you go to college
00:12:44 00:12:49 you don't make any money in year one
00:12:47 00:12:52 you don't make any money in year two it
00:12:49 00:12:54 takes you 30 years to pay that loan back
00:12:52 00:12:55 for most people if they ever pay it back
00:12:54 00:12:56 right you don't make any money a year
00:12:55 00:12:57 three p
00:12:56 00:12:59 you don't make any money year four you
00:12:57 00:13:01 make money about
00:12:59 00:13:02 you make you start making money six
00:13:01 00:13:06 months after you graduate if you
00:13:02 00:13:08 hopefully find a job right not even this

00:14:12 00:14:15 my little baby daughter there
00:14:13 00:14:17 i know my mom and them nobody in my
00:14:15 00:14:20 family works me and my mom my wife
00:14:17 00:14:22 they all work within the companies i
00:14:20 00:14:24 have a reason i got 20 different people
00:14:22 00:14:26 whipping our businesses depending on me
00:14:24 00:14:28 i have a reason every single day to go
00:14:26 00:14:29 get up so what i need people to do is
00:14:28 00:14:31 they got to identify a reason
00:14:29 00:14:32 do you want your kids to work live
00:14:31 00:14:34 paycheck to paycheck
00:14:32 00:14:37 do you want your kids to work a job that
00:14:34 00:14:39 they hate do you want your kids to
00:14:37 00:14:40 to live in poverty do you want to stay
00:14:39 00:14:42 in your current situation
00:14:40 00:14:44 and that should be a big enough reason
00:14:42 00:14:45 to make you get up every single day
00:14:44 00:14:47 and get and grind and then here's the
00:14:45 00:14:49 most important thing you got to get in
00:14:47 00:14:50 the community
00:14:49 00:14:52 you got to get around other people who
00:14:50 00:14:53 are doing just the things you got to be
00:14:52 00:14:55 in econ
00:14:53 00:14:56 empire builders right if you want to
00:14:55 00:14:58 build the econ business and all these
00:14:56 00:14:59 individuals around you that's what
00:14:58 00:15:01 they're doing every single day
00:14:59 00:15:02 you want to own an event space get an
00:15:01 00:15:04 event space program you want to
00:15:02 00:15:05 start making money on ig getting
00:15:04 00:15:06 something that does ig you want to do
00:15:05 00:15:08 real estate get
00:15:06 00:15:10 because what you got to do you got to be
00:15:08 00:15:12 consumed
00:15:10 00:15:14 around people who uplift you you got to
00:15:12 00:15:16 be consumed around people are doing it
00:15:14 00:15:18 if every single thing you're on
00:15:16 00:15:20 instagram facebook you seeing all these
00:15:18 00:15:21 posts about people crushing it killing
00:15:20 00:15:23 it doing their thing
00:15:21 00:15:24 that's what happened you now know it's
00:15:23 00:15:26 possible right
00:15:24 00:15:28 so that's what i do i'm making sure i'm
00:15:26 00:15:30 only tuning into
00:15:28 00:15:31 the things that i want like what a lot
00:15:30 00:15:33 of people got to do pete they got to do
00:15:31 00:15:35 an audit on what they're looking at
00:15:33 00:15:36 you go down instagram they got a whole
00:15:35 00:15:38 bunch of bull crap they're looking at
00:15:36 00:15:39 and now they're distracted
00:15:38 00:15:41 start to start your new instagram and
00:15:39 00:15:43 just follow people
00:15:41 00:15:44 who are empowering you or encouraging
00:15:43 00:15:46 and who educated
00:15:44 00:15:48 start joining as many groups as you can
00:15:46 00:15:49 literally you got to filter what you
00:15:48 00:15:52 bring in
00:15:49 00:15:54 like people think a diet is just food
00:15:52 00:15:57 you also got to go a diet on your mind
00:15:54 00:15:58 what are you taking in i'm very i'm very
00:15:57 00:16:00 i don't know i think it's cognitive i
00:15:58 00:16:02 don't even know the word right i'm very
00:16:00 00:16:04 mindful let me just keep it simple

00:16:06 00:16:09 i'm mindful who i'm texting i'm mindful

00:16:09 00:16:12 i'm mindful what i'm watching because
00:16:11 00:16:14 all of those things are going to affect
00:16:12 00:16:15 your performance and affect the things
00:16:14 00:16:18 that you're doing in your life
00:16:15 00:16:19 so i'm very mindful i can't even address
00:16:18 00:16:21 negativity
00:16:19 00:16:22 i can't even look at any of those things
00:16:21 00:16:23 because how is that going to help me
00:16:22 00:16:26 grow
00:16:23 00:16:26 i can't even gossip i will never spend a

00:16:26 00:16:30 toking about another man or another one
00:16:29 00:16:32 what
00:16:30 00:16:33 what fruit am i getting out of that by

00:16:33 00:16:37 and degrading someone or just consuming

00:17:14 00:17:16 gate but the chances of that are slim to

00:17:16 00:17:20 right for most people it's going to take
00:17:17 00:17:22 a few years because you're going into
00:17:20 00:17:23 a pool of sharks right and and i always
00:17:22 00:17:25 like to be realistik you are
00:17:23 00:17:27 right you're going against me right me
00:17:25 00:17:28 and my team here 30 people we do this

00:17:28 00:17:32 so you coming in here as a solopreneur

00:17:43 00:17:47 it is it's just like focus on just one
00:17:45 00:17:48 specific thing i always even tell people
00:17:47 00:17:49 like start as many business
00:17:48 00:17:50 opportunities as you can learn as much
00:17:49 00:17:51 stuff you don't know
00:17:50 00:17:53 like dude the amount of stuff i've
00:17:51 00:17:54 learned from when i started affiliate
00:17:53 00:17:55 marketing that i can put into my ecom
00:17:54 00:17:57 business now i can do my digital

00:17:57 00:18:00 all those things mess so well together

00:18:00 00:18:04 um but i kind of want to i kind of want
00:18:02 00:18:06 to get into a little bit about
00:18:04 00:18:08 social media man because i think that's
00:18:06 00:18:11 where you really really shine

00:18:11 00:18:14 you that's like i would say and correct
00:18:13 00:18:15 me if i'm wrong that's one of your
00:18:14 00:18:17 biggest traffic sources right your your
00:18:15 00:18:20 social media presence right
00:18:17 00:18:21 so let's tok about like how did it even
00:18:20 00:18:23 start and i've never even toked to you
00:18:21 00:18:24 about this but i kind of wanted to ask
00:18:23 00:18:25 you this like
00:18:24 00:18:26 how did you even like were you just like
00:18:25 00:18:28 oh i'm just going to start i know you've
00:18:26 00:18:29 been like on steve harvey
00:18:28 00:18:31 like all these cool things i've seen you
00:18:29 00:18:32 do which is awesome so i'm sure all
00:18:31 00:18:34 these things obviously help
00:18:32 00:18:36 but like how did you decide you're like
00:18:34 00:18:37 hey you know i'm gonna like
00:18:36 00:18:38 because i'm assuming you started sharing
00:18:37 00:18:40 your journey on social media and then it
00:18:38 00:18:41 kind of the snowball started happening
00:18:40 00:18:43 to where
00:18:41 00:18:44 are at now so like when did you wake up
00:18:43 00:18:45 like how many years ago were like hey
00:18:44 00:18:47 i'm just gonna
00:18:45 00:18:49 start an instagram account right and
00:18:47 00:18:51 like how did that grow
00:18:49 00:18:52 so it's funny man it's one of my ex's
00:18:51 00:18:54 secret strategies i don't even tok it
00:18:52 00:18:55 ain't really even a strategy when i
00:18:54 00:18:57 really think about it i don't even
00:18:55 00:18:58 really tok about it but
00:18:57 00:19:01 uh peter i call it serve your way to
00:18:58 00:19:03 success and i never really tok about it
00:19:01 00:19:04 because it's not it doesn't sound sexy
00:19:03 00:19:06 it's not gonna go make you money
00:19:04 00:19:08 tomorrow but
00:19:06 00:19:10 my mom years ago when i started my first
00:19:08 00:19:11 business she said son you got to give
00:19:10 00:19:13 back
00:19:11 00:19:14 and for 13 years we've been doing all of
00:19:13 00:19:15 these things to provide for our
00:19:14 00:19:16 community whether it's feeding the
00:19:15 00:19:19 homeless
00:19:16 00:19:20 um every year for every year what we do
00:19:19 00:19:22 is
00:19:20 00:19:24 march we take 100 kids hundreds of kids
00:19:22 00:19:26 skiing fully paid for
00:19:24 00:19:28 august we bust we we provide thousands
00:19:26 00:19:30 of book bags for all the kids in the
00:19:28 00:19:31 community free food moon bounces clowns
00:19:30 00:19:34 all of this stuff
00:19:31 00:19:35 uh thanksgiving we busting hundreds of
00:19:34 00:19:37 homeless people provide them with warm
00:19:35 00:19:39 meals haircuts coats
00:19:37 00:19:41 uh christmas we do the same thing give
00:19:39 00:19:43 everybody brand new toys it's just
00:19:41 00:19:44 big and lavish we do so many things
00:19:43 00:19:46 behind the background people don't even
00:19:44 00:19:48 know we do in terms of giving
00:19:46 00:19:50 and literally one of my one of my
00:19:48 00:19:53 reasons of growing my brand especially
00:19:50 00:19:55 in philly everybody knew me as that guy
00:19:53 00:19:56 who gave back everybody knew me that god
00:19:55 00:19:57 had made a difference so i've been
00:19:56 00:19:59 featured
00:19:57 00:20:01 over my life and all these different
00:19:59 00:20:01 publications been awarded by all these
00:20:01 00:20:03 people
00:20:01 00:20:05 but it wasn't because i'm this dope cool
00:20:03 00:20:07 entrepreneur it was because of my
00:20:05 00:20:09 ability to give back and serve others
00:20:07 00:20:11 put others before i put myself
00:20:09 00:20:12 so that really allowed me to get a whole
00:20:11 00:20:15 lot of light shine
00:20:12 00:20:17 on me which was kind of not even the the
00:20:15 00:20:18 reason i did it it just so happens to
00:20:17 00:20:20 happen
00:20:18 00:20:22 just from us serving our way to success
00:20:20 00:20:23 like me getting on steve harvey me
00:20:22 00:20:26 winning the hoodie award
00:20:23 00:20:27 it wasn't because i'm this super dupe

00:20:27 00:20:31 one of the reasons why i gave back to
00:20:29 00:20:32 the community so much i won this hoodie
00:20:31 00:20:34 award it's 30
00:20:32 00:20:35 000 it was the community leader award

00:20:35 00:20:39 but that was because of all of my years
00:20:37 00:20:41 of serving my way to success
00:20:39 00:20:42 so as i continue to get on social media

00:20:42 00:20:46 i'm also including that i'm sharing a
00:20:45 00:20:48 little bit about how i'm helping others
00:20:46 00:20:50 i'm sharing how i'm adding value to
00:20:48 00:20:52 other people and then
00:20:50 00:20:54 i mix my business in and then i just
00:20:52 00:20:55 continue to just grow my brand and grow
00:20:54 00:20:57 myself one of the biggest things that
00:20:55 00:20:59 you can do is grow a personal brand
00:20:57 00:21:01 because as you grow a personal brand it
00:20:59 00:21:02 gives you the ability to sell other
00:21:01 00:21:04 products it gives you the ability to
00:21:02 00:21:06 offer other services right
00:21:04 00:21:07 and also it also builds trust with your

00:21:08 00:21:11 been doing this like no one know that

00:21:11 00:21:15 giving back for 13 years i've been my
00:21:13 00:21:16 mind won't even allow us not to
00:21:15 00:21:18 every month she's on what are we doing
00:21:16 00:21:20 this month but she's doing 10
00:21:18 00:21:22 20 things a month that no one would
00:21:20 00:21:22 never even know about paying people
00:21:22 00:21:25 mortgages
00:21:22 00:21:27 paying people's cardinals all type of
00:21:25 00:21:27 stuff that we don't even put on social
00:21:27 00:21:29 media
00:21:27 00:21:31 so that's just a little hack that's not
00:21:29 00:21:32 like uh we gonna dive in some more
00:21:31 00:21:34 social stuff
00:21:32 00:21:35 but that was one of my things pete that
00:21:34 00:21:37 really allowed me
00:21:35 00:21:38 when i got verified on instagram i
00:21:37 00:21:40 didn't have to go do all the you know
00:21:38 00:21:42 it's so many different
00:21:40 00:21:43 things you got to do to get verified on
00:21:42 00:21:45 instagram but most of them are
00:21:43 00:21:47 around press i didn't have to go try to
00:21:45 00:21:49 find press because i already had it from
00:21:47 00:21:51 what i've already done in the community
00:21:49 00:21:53 but years and years stacked up against
00:21:51 00:21:55 me so
00:21:53 00:21:56 yeah and i think it's coming from like a
00:21:55 00:21:58 selfless place
00:21:56 00:21:59 too it's not like oh i'm doing this so i
00:21:58 00:22:02 get featured on
00:21:59 00:22:03 you know whatever news station it's i
00:22:02 00:22:05 actually want to help people
00:22:03 00:22:07 because you see this oftentimes man like
00:22:05 00:22:08 where it's like people are just helping
00:22:07 00:22:10 just to get
00:22:08 00:22:12 you know some sort of little 15 minutes
00:22:10 00:22:13 of fame or something like that but i
00:22:12 00:22:15 think you know just from even me seeing
00:22:13 00:22:15 you it's like it's all the time right
00:22:15 00:22:17 it's like
00:22:15 00:22:18 you're always doing it so you know it's
00:22:17 00:22:20 coming from a place of like oh i
00:22:18 00:22:21 actually care i want to give back to my
00:22:20 00:22:23 community i want to help them
00:22:21 00:22:24 right and you're also able to inspire
00:22:23 00:22:26 people too
00:22:24 00:22:28 last week we went to a market i'm
00:22:26 00:22:28 toking about we planned this the night
00:22:28 00:22:31 before
00:22:28 00:22:32 2 p.m we was on make a audibles we ended
00:22:31 00:22:34 up still gone
00:22:32 00:22:36 no videographer no we didn't have
00:22:34 00:22:37 nothing like yo we just gonna go on the
00:22:36 00:22:39 market
00:22:37 00:22:41 and let's just pay for people groceries
00:22:39 00:22:44 we never
00:22:41 00:22:45 prior to never say yo will this go viral
00:22:44 00:22:46 hey we need to invite the news sources
00:22:45 00:22:49 out we never did
00:22:46 00:22:51 none of that not one even thought up
00:22:49 00:22:51 that thing ended up going viral i'm
00:22:51 00:22:53 toking about
00:22:51 00:22:56 seeing them pick that all these people
00:22:53 00:22:58 picked it all up and i'm grateful for it
00:22:56 00:22:59 but that was never even the intentions
00:22:58 00:23:01 at all
00:22:59 00:23:03 it's just because we thought of a good
00:23:01 00:23:04 deed and say yo this is what we want to
00:23:03 00:23:07 do and it ended up going
00:23:04 00:23:08 crazy but again that also helps your
00:23:07 00:23:09 brand too
00:23:08 00:23:11 as well but that wasn't even our darn
00:23:09 00:23:12 intentions yeah sometimes when you're
00:23:11 00:23:15 just doing good
00:23:12 00:23:16 out of going good good things happen to
00:23:15 00:23:18 you like one of the reasons i was able
00:23:16 00:23:20 to propose to my wife
00:23:18 00:23:22 on steve harvey i had a 75 000
00:23:20 00:23:24 engagement they paid for the ring
00:23:22 00:23:26 they flew on maxwell to sing there it
00:23:24 00:23:28 was crazy screwed my entire family out
00:23:26 00:23:30 and one of my friends who got me on
00:23:28 00:23:31 there at the time her husband was steve
00:23:30 00:23:33 harvey manager
00:23:31 00:23:34 or zach word says you never know who got
00:23:33 00:23:36 the power to bless you
00:23:34 00:23:38 i watch you get back for multiple years
00:23:36 00:23:40 so it was the least i could do is make
00:23:38 00:23:42 this connection for you and get you on
00:23:40 00:23:44 well i got in the white house eating
00:23:42 00:23:46 dinner with barack and michelle obama
00:23:44 00:23:48 right at this networking event in the
00:23:46 00:23:50 white house got to bring my mom
00:23:48 00:23:51 reason why i was in you can't buy a
00:23:50 00:23:52 tiket in these places and some of the
00:23:51 00:23:54 things i do
00:23:52 00:23:55 you can't buy a tiket to go to most of
00:23:54 00:23:58 these things
00:23:55 00:24:00 i'm in the white house why so i didn't
00:23:58 00:24:01 know i sat down with somebody gave her a
00:24:00 00:24:02 whole game on non-profits and helping
00:24:01 00:24:05 her out
00:24:02 00:24:06 never knew she was michelle obama's
00:24:05 00:24:08 right hand girl
00:24:06 00:24:09 uh secretary she was something high uh
00:24:08 00:24:10 next to michelle
00:24:09 00:24:13 caught me in two weeks hey would you
00:24:10 00:24:15 like to come to the white house
00:24:13 00:24:16 of course brought me right in so one of
00:24:15 00:24:18 my strategies
00:24:16 00:24:20 is serving other people making sure
00:24:18 00:24:21 adding value to other people
00:24:20 00:24:24 if you help somebody get everything they
00:24:21 00:24:27 want you won't get everything you want
00:24:24 00:24:28 by default so that's just been i hope
00:24:27 00:24:29 people take it let's not know
00:24:28 00:24:32 and we'll i guess we'll get into money
00:24:29 00:24:33 making things but that's not a
00:24:32 00:24:34 something you just implement and
00:24:33 00:24:35 tomorrow is going to blow up for you but

00:24:35 00:24:39 incorporating going good deeds and what
00:24:37 00:24:41 you do start doing random acts of
00:24:39 00:24:42 kindness one not only is going to make
00:24:41 00:24:43 you feel good
00:24:42 00:24:45 but you're adding value to someone's
00:24:43 00:24:46 life and the law of reciprocity states
00:24:45 00:24:47 you're going to get back whatever you
00:24:46 00:24:50 get
00:24:47 00:24:51 just in general so just do good do good

00:24:51 00:24:54 business
00:24:52 00:24:55 if you work on your business long enough
00:24:54 00:24:57 if you work on your mindset long enough

00:29:47 00:29:50 and you need to have an offer and it
00:29:48 00:29:52 needs to be through a process that you

00:29:52 00:29:56 yeah i mean it's interesting like uh you

00:29:57 00:30:01 people out there they rely on like

00:30:03 00:30:05 influencers you know the ones that have
00:30:04 00:30:07 hundreds of thousands maybe they don't
00:30:05 00:30:09 have like an agency that works for them
00:30:07 00:30:10 yet but like they don't they don't make
00:30:09 00:30:12 any money right
00:30:10 00:30:14 like at all and you see this all the
00:30:12 00:30:15 time you know even some that have
00:30:14 00:30:16 millions of followers
00:30:15 00:30:18 you know making no money and it's not
00:30:16 00:30:20 that a funnel necessarily will save them
00:30:18 00:30:22 right because it all comes down to like
00:30:20 00:30:24 the relationship that they actually have
00:30:22 00:30:25 with their audience and that that's the
00:30:24 00:30:28 key right
00:30:25 00:30:31 like i think at the end of the day right
00:30:28 00:30:32 because you've provided so much goodwill
00:30:31 00:30:35 out there in the marketplace
00:30:32 00:30:36 your conversions are are higher right

00:30:39 00:30:42 you know a customer or whatever right

00:31:18 00:31:22 sell do you have like higher tiket

00:31:25 00:31:29 so one thing again you come in here to

00:31:58 00:32:01 that to the funnel and now i'm selling

00:32:01 00:32:06 i probably sold probably 150 000 worth

00:32:12 00:32:15 when i'm doing calls and i'm doing

00:32:15 00:32:18 things because i'm now
00:32:16 00:32:20 adding those things to what i have and
00:32:18 00:32:22 the reason why i'm adding those things
00:32:20 00:32:24 to what i have because now i can get
00:32:22 00:32:25 a higher product a higher uh price
00:32:24 00:32:28 amount right
00:32:25 00:32:29 so it's about being resourceful right

00:32:30 00:32:33 a lot of assets that they can use oh my

00:32:37 00:32:40 me because i'm recording that and i'm
00:32:39 00:32:42 adding that to something i had and i
00:32:40 00:32:43 could sell that for 47. i could sell
00:32:42 00:32:46 that for 97 whatever it is
00:32:43 00:32:47 so now that's my content right so i'm
00:32:46 00:32:50 utilizing that
00:32:47 00:32:51 so that's what i do on all of my funnels
00:32:50 00:32:53 i'm adding something that i
00:32:51 00:32:55 already had laying around i'm
00:32:53 00:32:57 repurposing everything i have
00:32:55 00:32:59 adding that so i can now generate more
00:32:57 00:33:01 income off those things
00:32:59 00:33:03 um but that's what we have on the front
00:33:01 00:33:06 and then on the back end
00:33:03 00:33:07 what we end up doing is we can invite

00:33:07 00:33:10 so for example when people come into our

00:33:10 00:33:13 and they bought a book and all of that
00:33:11 00:33:14 they get a lot of value
00:33:13 00:33:16 then when we're having a live webinar

00:33:17 00:33:20 10 15 percent of all of them who buying

00:33:47 00:33:51 ecom right ecom is great i think as a

00:33:51 00:33:53 amazon effect getting something physical
00:33:52 00:33:55 in the mail
00:33:53 00:33:57 right it's easy no-brainer but there's
00:33:55 00:33:58 no reason e-commerce sellers shouldn't
00:33:57 00:34:00 be selling you know digital products
00:33:58 00:34:01 pretty much every single niche out there
00:34:00 00:34:03 they're consuming a lot of content
00:34:01 00:34:05 right fishing you know painting whatever
00:34:03 00:34:07 right like they're all consuming content
00:34:05 00:34:08 so if they're typically consuming
00:34:07 00:34:10 content for free they're probably gonna
00:34:08 00:34:11 they're probably paid things out there
00:34:10 00:34:12 that you can create
00:34:11 00:34:14 but you know i know we've been on here
00:34:12 00:34:14 for for a little bit but i want to give
00:34:14 00:34:16 um
00:34:14 00:34:17 i want to kind of like uh you know give
00:34:16 00:34:19 actionable stuff so you know
00:34:17 00:34:20 all this kind of hinders on that social
00:34:19 00:34:22 media following right so let's say
00:34:20 00:34:24 somebody out here doesn't really post
00:34:22 00:34:25 regularly on social media they're maybe
00:34:24 00:34:27 not in a place where
00:34:25 00:34:28 you know they can you know go and you
00:34:27 00:34:29 know pay for everybody's groceries at a
00:34:28 00:34:30 grocery store everyone can always help
00:34:29 00:34:31 in some way i get it but
00:34:30 00:34:34 you know how would you recommend
00:34:31 00:34:35 somebody get get started like
00:34:34 00:34:37 with social media how do you start
00:34:35 00:34:38 building a following right like do you
00:34:37 00:34:40 just post randomly every single day like
00:34:38 00:34:42 what's your strategy what you recommend
00:34:40 00:34:44 that i will do uh when i'm getting into
00:34:42 00:34:45 building the phone so one of the first
00:34:44 00:34:46 things is definitely about being
00:34:45 00:34:49 consistent
00:34:46 00:34:50 so you need to identify what niche and
00:34:49 00:34:52 marketplace you're going to be in and
00:34:50 00:34:54 you need to start consistently posting

00:34:57 00:35:00 their different features
00:34:59 00:35:03 every single post you do make sure it
