00:00:40 00:00:44 by kind of hearing a little bit about
00:00:42 00:00:45 you and a little bit about your kind of
00:00:44 00:00:46 like your past experience with
00:00:45 00:00:48 e-commerce maybe
00:00:46 00:00:50 stuff that you've tried before you kind
00:00:48 00:00:52 of learned about the whole sales funnel
00:00:50 00:00:53 uh a game so to speak so kind of like
00:00:52 00:00:54 can you share some of your backstory a
00:00:53 00:00:56 little bit
00:00:54 00:00:57 yeah sure um i think i've been dabbling
00:00:56 00:00:59 online for
00:00:57 00:01:01 a number of years now on and off and you
00:00:59 00:01:03 know go through ways where i believe
00:01:01 00:01:04 about it and then i tried it and it
00:01:03 00:01:05 didn't work and
00:01:04 00:01:07 i think recently about two years ago i
00:01:05 00:01:09 came across um clickfunnels
00:01:07 00:01:11 um and then i started reading the books
00:01:09 00:01:12 and everything about 18 months actually
00:01:11 00:01:15 and then
00:01:12 00:01:16 and then i tried again um you know step
00:01:15 00:01:19 by step
00:01:16 00:01:21 um and it was it was still very hard um
00:01:19 00:01:22 so because i think there's there's so
00:01:21 00:01:26 many tiknical
00:01:22 00:01:28 areas online um so you know you might
00:01:26 00:01:29 concentrate on one but have weeks in
00:01:28 00:01:30 five out of the areas and it just
00:01:29 00:01:32 doesn't come together
00:01:30 00:01:33 there's a lot of things that i find that
00:01:32 00:01:36 have to come together
00:01:33 00:01:38 before you actually can get that winning
00:01:36 00:01:40 formula
00:01:38 00:01:41 so you know you you might have to
00:01:40 00:01:45 concentrate on
00:01:41 00:01:48 how how adwords work how script writing
00:01:45 00:01:50 copywriting how to create a creative so
00:01:48 00:01:53 there's so many areas
00:01:50 00:01:54 and then so there's so many combinations
00:01:53 00:01:57 of things that can go
00:01:54 00:01:59 wrong and that's when i came across um
00:01:57 00:02:02 your um your your services where it's
00:01:59 00:02:04 done done for you
00:02:02 00:02:06 and i thought that's that's just perfect
00:02:04 00:02:08 because you know i've been trying for
00:02:06 00:02:09 a number of years now um unsuccessfully
00:02:08 00:02:11 and that's where
00:02:09 00:02:12 i thought yep if you know you've got a
00:02:11 00:02:16 team of people who
00:02:12 00:02:18 who specialize in various areas um it
00:02:16 00:02:20 just makes perfect sense
00:02:18 00:02:22 so so tell me i i'd be curious because
00:02:20 00:02:24 that seems like you've been doing trying
00:02:22 00:02:25 doing click funnels for for a while um
00:02:24 00:02:27 did you try like
00:02:25 00:02:29 shopify or amazon or any of those kind
00:02:27 00:02:32 of e-commerce platforms
00:02:29 00:02:33 no no i didn't know it was just straight
00:02:32 00:02:36 into a funnel
00:02:33 00:02:38 nice type format yeah so um
00:02:36 00:02:40 just trying to figure out um you know
00:02:38 00:02:40 that one page funnel you know selling
00:02:40 00:02:43 one
00:02:40 00:02:44 one one product um one service i was
00:02:43 00:02:45 actually in the service industry
00:02:44 00:02:47 tutoring
00:02:45 00:02:48 for a while and um so it's just but it
00:02:47 00:02:51 just took a lot
00:02:48 00:02:53 it took a lot of you know whether you do
00:02:51 00:02:56 you pay someone to do your ads
00:02:53 00:02:57 you pay someone to manage your facebook
00:02:56 00:02:58 do you pay someone to do your
00:02:57 00:03:00 copywriting
00:02:58 00:03:03 there's a and then if you don't pay
00:03:00 00:03:05 someone you do it yourself and it's
00:03:03 00:03:06 a two out of ten job you know unless
00:03:05 00:03:08 you're
00:03:06 00:03:09 studying it uh quite heavily and you can
00:03:08 00:03:11 study one area but then you're missing
00:03:09 00:03:13 all the other areas so
00:03:11 00:03:14 there's a lot in course yeah you know
00:03:13 00:03:16 it's interesting because you know a lot
00:03:14 00:03:18 of people will say
00:03:16 00:03:20 oh sales funnels they they look so
00:03:18 00:03:22 simple they look so easy
00:03:20 00:03:23 right and they on the outside looking in
00:03:22 00:03:25 they do
00:03:23 00:03:27 right they they do yeah and you realize
00:03:25 00:03:29 like wow like
00:03:27 00:03:30 i you know i believe you know funnels
00:03:29 00:03:32 and being good at like the all that
00:03:30 00:03:33 whole process is
00:03:32 00:03:34 really what sets is going to set you
00:03:33 00:03:36 apart to be able to sell whatever you
00:03:34 00:03:38 want online because
00:03:36 00:03:40 you you have to be good at like the core
00:03:38 00:03:42 competencies right it's like advertising
00:03:40 00:03:43 marketing and sales right and then
00:03:42 00:03:44 obviously there's a lot of stuff
00:03:43 00:03:46 underneath that right like
00:03:44 00:03:47 copywriting persuasion like there's a
00:03:46 00:03:50 lot that goes
00:03:47 00:03:53 into it but you know it forces you to
00:03:50 00:03:54 focus on the stuff that matters right
00:03:53 00:03:55 you know while a lot of sellers out
00:03:54 00:03:56 there you know though
00:03:55 00:03:58 especially in e-commerce you know they
00:03:56 00:04:00 they'll just load up a bunch of products
00:03:58 00:04:02 and just like hoping something stiks
00:04:00 00:04:05 right instead of focusing on
00:04:02 00:04:05 one specific product that that sells so
00:04:05 00:04:08 so
00:04:05 00:04:09 we launched your business um you know
00:04:08 00:04:11 you had some great traction
00:04:09 00:04:12 and i saw your post when you made it in
00:04:11 00:04:14 the group the other day
00:04:12 00:04:16 um i know you said you launched some
00:04:14 00:04:17 additional funnels that i'm assuming you
00:04:16 00:04:19 based off the templates that we have
00:04:17 00:04:20 created with you
00:04:19 00:04:22 um and that that really struck my
00:04:20 00:04:23 interest because you know to me that's
00:04:22 00:04:25 interesting that's
00:04:23 00:04:26 you're doing it exactly what i what what
00:04:25 00:04:27 i said like what i
00:04:26 00:04:29 recommend like when you start seeing
00:04:27 00:04:31 some good traction with one funnel okay
00:04:29 00:04:32 now it starts to start going into the
00:04:31 00:04:34 next one and next i'm assuming
00:04:32 00:04:36 not all of those i know you had a
00:04:34 00:04:37 handful in there that you're doing that
00:04:36 00:04:39 you're actively
00:04:37 00:04:41 managing but kind of give us your give
00:04:39 00:04:42 me your thought process like of that
00:04:41 00:04:44 like how did you
00:04:42 00:04:45 how did you decide like hey i'm gonna go
00:04:44 00:04:48 into uh you know
00:04:45 00:04:50 this next funnel yeah sure so um yeah
00:04:48 00:04:52 with the one you built was fantastik saw
00:04:50 00:04:54 sales straight away
00:04:52 00:04:55 um start to test all my interest and
00:04:54 00:04:57 everything
00:04:55 00:04:59 and move towards a look-alike um
00:04:57 00:05:02 campaign so it took a couple of
00:04:59 00:05:02 weeks probably three weeks to get to 100
00:05:02 00:05:04 buyers
00:05:02 00:05:08 to start to qualify to do the look-alike
00:05:04 00:05:10 campaign um in the meantime i'm also
00:05:08 00:05:11 researching my competitors also looking
00:05:10 00:05:13 at similar
00:05:11 00:05:15 similar people similar funnels buying
00:05:13 00:05:17 their products and
00:05:15 00:05:20 and and having a look at their pages um
00:05:17 00:05:21 to see oh wait a sec that's a good one i
00:05:20 00:05:23 might incorporate that
00:05:21 00:05:26 that's a good one i might incorporate
00:05:23 00:05:28 that so you're always testing you know
00:05:26 00:05:30 and just what russell brunson does too
00:05:28 00:05:32 you know well everybody does
00:05:30 00:05:34 they you've got to research your
00:05:32 00:05:35 competitors and see what's um what works
00:05:34 00:05:37 and what may not work and how long
00:05:35 00:05:39 they've been around and things like that
00:05:37 00:05:40 and then so kind of before you
00:05:39 00:05:42 before you move on from that because so
00:05:40 00:05:44 were you because when we actually
00:05:42 00:05:45 had our kickoff call we you know
00:05:44 00:05:45 identified the niche that we're going to
00:05:45 00:05:48 be kind of
00:05:45 00:05:50 doing this business in like in your
00:05:48 00:05:51 first 30 days that takes us to build
00:05:50 00:05:53 this business out
00:05:51 00:05:54 were were you going out there and
00:05:53 00:05:56 actively you know
00:05:54 00:05:58 just like researching the niche that we
00:05:56 00:06:00 picked out seeing what other people are
00:05:58 00:06:02 selling or did you kind of wait till
00:06:00 00:06:03 after the funnels were already producing
00:06:02 00:06:04 sales
00:06:03 00:06:06 that you then started doing like heavy
00:06:04 00:06:08 research on your own like you know
00:06:06 00:06:08 following influencers and researchers um
00:06:08 00:06:10 both
00:06:08 00:06:12 both in the 30 days i was obviously
00:06:10 00:06:13 doing your course
00:06:12 00:06:15 um going through and doing it and i
00:06:13 00:06:16 actually did it twice within 30 days
00:06:15 00:06:18 just to
00:06:16 00:06:20 you know make sure it's fresh and i
00:06:18 00:06:21 understand everything i could
00:06:20 00:06:23 um except some of the advanced stuff i
00:06:21 00:06:24 just skimmed through that i mean okay
00:06:23 00:06:27 i've got to come back to that
00:06:24 00:06:28 i did that about five times um once the
00:06:27 00:06:31 over here um
00:06:28 00:06:33 it was launched um but uh yeah it made a
00:06:31 00:06:35 lot more sense once you're all hands on
00:06:33 00:06:37 and you're doing it yourself
00:06:35 00:06:39 so you can do the course get the theory
00:06:37 00:06:40 in and at the same time you're just
00:06:39 00:06:42 waiting to get this
00:06:40 00:06:44 this funnel you're waiting to get this
00:06:42 00:06:45 kind of you're waiting to get your hands
00:06:44 00:06:48 dirty so to speak
00:06:45 00:06:49 you know doing your ads and your testing
00:06:48 00:06:51 and
00:06:49 00:06:53 and finding all your your interest
00:06:51 00:06:55 groups under a million and yeah
00:06:53 00:06:56 so you're getting your hands dirty which
00:06:55 00:06:58 is the fun part um
00:06:56 00:07:00 and then that's where it all starts to
00:06:58 00:07:04 come together and make sense
00:07:00 00:07:06 um and i mean a lot of it is still fake
00:07:04 00:07:07 a lot of it is is the face of you know
00:07:06 00:07:09 peter you've got
00:07:07 00:07:10 this experience you've got this other
00:07:09 00:07:12 guy on you've got these you've got all
00:07:10 00:07:13 these guys on and
00:07:12 00:07:16 to this day if you look at my eight
00:07:13 00:07:17 puddle it's still very very similar
00:07:16 00:07:19 to the first funnel that you've you've
00:07:17 00:07:21 uh you've built because that's what's
00:07:19 00:07:24 nice about it because it's a baseline
00:07:21 00:07:24 you know you know it's like okay well
00:07:24 00:07:26 now
00:07:24 00:07:27 okay i want to launch a next product
00:07:26 00:07:29 well you already have everything's
00:07:27 00:07:30 already done and set up you know it's as
00:07:29 00:07:31 simple as
00:07:30 00:07:33 you know duplicating it and then just
00:07:31 00:07:34 changing all the core foundational
00:07:33 00:07:37 pieces even the copy
00:07:34 00:07:38 you can like tool to make sense for the
00:07:37 00:07:40 next product and i i think we even
00:07:38 00:07:41 toked about that on our initial kickoff
00:07:40 00:07:43 call like you mentioned okay
00:07:41 00:07:45 when i want to launch my next one or do
00:07:43 00:07:46 i have to you know hire you guys to do
00:07:45 00:07:49 it again i'm like you can but you you
00:07:46 00:07:50 have the baseline already set up
00:07:49 00:07:53 so you can launch your your your next
00:07:50 00:07:54 funnel so so tell me on like that launch
00:07:53 00:07:56 day when it when it when we
00:07:54 00:07:58 we obviously discussed our launch like
00:07:56 00:08:00 when those first sales kind of
00:07:58 00:08:02 like came in like what was that feeling
00:08:00 00:08:03 did you have like your stripe on your
00:08:02 00:08:05 phone and be like oh man like it's
00:08:03 00:08:07 actually it's actually working yeah
00:08:05 00:08:09 yeah absolutely i was trying to figure
00:08:07 00:08:11 out how to make a ping
00:08:09 00:08:13 you know i wanna i wanna hear the sound
00:08:11 00:08:14 when the sales come through but
00:08:13 00:08:16 it's i just couldn't get it it doesn't
00:08:14 00:08:19 do it i don't think it does it so
00:08:16 00:08:20 um yeah no it's very exciting to see
00:08:19 00:08:22 those sales especially when
00:08:20 00:08:23 you know i've tried a number of years
00:08:22 00:08:26 and you know you
00:08:23 00:08:28 hear everybody's opinions and and i
00:08:26 00:08:29 still you know i couldn't get it off the
00:08:28 00:08:30 ground to make it
00:08:29 00:08:32 you know successful at all spending more
00:08:30 00:08:34 than i was making and um yeah
00:08:32 00:08:36 yeah so to see that and then it's like
00:08:34 00:08:37 oh you know we can just get a hundred
00:08:36 00:08:38 dollars a day
00:08:37 00:08:40 it's awesome and i know a lot of you you
00:08:38 00:08:41 guys out there thinking exactly the same
00:08:40 00:08:44 where i was
00:08:41 00:08:45 you just get 100 a day and then and then
00:08:44 00:08:48 you get to 100
00:08:45 00:08:50 a day and it's like i i need to get to
00:08:48 00:08:51 like two three hundred dollars a day now
00:08:50 00:08:52 and then
00:08:51 00:08:54 and then you strive and you strive in
00:08:52 00:08:55 this yeah i know you mentioned you kind
00:08:54 00:08:57 of
00:08:55 00:08:58 you you kind of got to that close to two
00:08:57 00:09:02 thousand dollars a day
00:08:58 00:09:04 in revenue i believe um so so kind of
00:09:02 00:09:05 walk us through that how um did you have
00:09:04 00:09:07 multiple funnels that you were doing
00:09:05 00:09:09 that on or was that mainly from like one
00:09:07 00:09:11 or two funnels that we were running
00:09:09 00:09:12 that was mainly on one funnel maybe one
00:09:11 00:09:15 and a half funnel
00:09:12 00:09:19 um so and it's just learning different
00:09:15 00:09:21 um scaling strategies um
00:09:19 00:09:23 so yeah that was very exciting to know
00:09:21 00:09:24 that you spent the dollar and brought in
00:09:23 00:09:26 two and i made that my minimum
00:09:24 00:09:29 requirement um
00:09:26 00:09:30 so that i am profitable um a row as it
00:09:29 00:09:33 too
00:09:30 00:09:35 um and that um yeah it worked for um
00:09:33 00:09:36 a few days actually about four or five
00:09:35 00:09:37 days
00:09:36 00:09:39 probably a better week yeah it went for
00:09:37 00:09:39 about a week and then i scaled it too
00:09:39 00:09:42 much
00:09:39 00:09:43 um and they're all just yeah went
00:09:42 00:09:45 backwards so then i had to
00:09:43 00:09:46 come back down and you know and then you
00:09:45 00:09:47 said you're gonna have to scale back to
00:09:46 00:09:49 like a thousand bucks
00:09:47 00:09:50 yeah or something like that yeah yeah
00:09:49 00:09:53 yeah so i'm about
00:09:50 00:09:53 um i was back i was back down to about
00:09:53 00:09:55 500
00:09:53 00:09:56 a day but now i'm going back up to a
00:09:55 00:09:59 thousand again
00:09:56 00:10:01 um and i'm trying to find um i'm trying
00:09:59 00:10:02 to find that groove i'm trying to find
00:10:01 00:10:04 all the ads that
00:10:02 00:10:05 that work and eliminate so it's a
00:10:04 00:10:07 constant test and finding it's a
00:10:05 00:10:09 constant test and i find that you know
00:10:07 00:10:10 there's an evidence of this ego that
00:10:09 00:10:12 they believe what's what works and i
00:10:10 00:10:13 think you've just got to get rid of that
00:10:12 00:10:16 and and
00:10:13 00:10:16 and go with what's in the results the
00:10:16 00:10:19 one thing that
00:10:16 00:10:20 you know i i like to recommend um is
00:10:19 00:10:22 like because just
00:10:20 00:10:23 you know uh with these funnels like if
00:10:22 00:10:24 you want them to
00:10:23 00:10:25 be like a little bit more profitable and
00:10:24 00:10:27 this might be something you know anyone
00:10:25 00:10:28 you're listening now that wants to test
00:10:27 00:10:31 but that's been working
00:10:28 00:10:32 pretty well is doing like digital
00:10:31 00:10:34 products
00:10:32 00:10:36 in the order bumps um this is something
00:10:34 00:10:37 that's really powerful because order
00:10:36 00:10:39 bump take rates already
00:10:37 00:10:41 pretty solid usually they're between
00:10:39 00:10:43 fifteen twenty percent because it's at
00:10:41 00:10:43 point of checkout right so it's like uh
00:10:43 00:10:45 you know
00:10:43 00:10:47 grocery line you guys know i already use
00:10:45 00:10:48 this i use this analogy all the time
00:10:47 00:10:50 like an easy no-brainer
00:10:48 00:10:52 so things like you know an easy mastery
00:10:50 00:10:54 guide you know a little cheat sheet pdf
00:10:52 00:10:58 worksheet that you charge maybe you know
00:10:54 00:11:01 12.95 for 14.95 but think about it
00:10:58 00:11:02 you that is free right that is a free 15
00:11:01 00:11:04 that might that if somebody takes that
00:11:02 00:11:07 that might just you know
00:11:04 00:11:08 a dilute your entire ad cost right for
00:11:07 00:11:10 for that person even get to your
00:11:08 00:11:11 get to your funnel so you know that
00:11:10 00:11:13 might be something you try you could get
00:11:11 00:11:14 even into the more advanced digital
00:11:13 00:11:16 products that you can do in
00:11:14 00:11:18 into in your upsells uh and stuff as
00:11:16 00:11:19 well so you know i'd love to hear kind
00:11:18 00:11:21 of like what are what are some of your
00:11:19 00:11:21 your next goals i have to get you out
00:11:21 00:11:23 your
00:11:21 00:11:24 your your 10k club award man i don't
00:11:23 00:11:28 think i uh uh
00:11:24 00:11:28 did you fill out that form did you did
00:11:36 00:11:40 don't worry about that we'll get it for
00:11:39 00:11:42 you because usually my va
00:11:40 00:11:44 fulfills them fulfills them on a week
00:11:42 00:11:45 like checks and i just approve
00:11:44 00:11:47 because just to make sure these people
00:11:45 00:11:47 are legit with their numbers and stuff
00:11:47 00:11:49 like that
00:11:47 00:11:51 but we'll get you we'll get you that out
00:11:49 00:11:54 man that's like the big thing
00:11:51 00:11:54 um but i want to hear like what are your
00:11:54 00:11:56 what are your next
00:11:54 00:11:58 goals right like what what is your what
00:11:56 00:12:00 is your kind of like
00:11:58 00:12:01 maybe not like necessarily long-term
00:12:00 00:12:02 vision but what's your plan over like
00:12:01 00:12:05 the next
00:12:02 00:12:06 year year or two yeah i'd like to you
00:12:05 00:12:08 know keep keep moving forward and i
00:12:06 00:12:09 recognize that to do that i have to keep
00:12:08 00:12:11 learning
00:12:09 00:12:13 um and keep trialing and testing and
00:12:11 00:12:14 failing and that so
00:12:13 00:12:16 yeah i'd like to push this as much as it
00:12:14 00:12:19 can push it um
00:12:16 00:12:20 so yeah two thousand a day through the
00:12:19 00:12:22 day
00:12:20 00:12:24 whatever i can scale try different
00:12:22 00:12:27 products i'm looking at a shopify
00:12:24 00:12:28 store now so that i can get a bit more
00:12:27 00:12:30 of a
00:12:28 00:12:31 residual income where um it's a
00:12:30 00:12:34 membership type
00:12:31 00:12:35 yes i'm looking at a subscription type
00:12:34 00:12:38 product
00:12:35 00:12:38 for the store and things like that so um
00:12:38 00:12:41 but yeah i
00:12:38 00:12:43 definitely believe in in the funnel um
00:12:41 00:12:46 so yeah i'm gonna keep testing
00:12:43 00:12:48 different uh products as i go uh so
00:12:46 00:12:50 i'm gonna concentrate on one at a time
00:12:48 00:12:51 to make sure that i've done as much as i
00:12:50 00:12:53 can with that product before i move on
00:12:51 00:12:54 to the next one now the first couple the
00:12:53 00:12:56 first call was like
00:12:54 00:12:58 wait a second yeah i can do that one
00:12:56 00:13:00 down on that one and you know
00:12:58 00:13:02 so then i went oh wait a sec you know
00:13:00 00:13:03 it's not it's not always the product
00:13:02 00:13:05 it's not always your creative it's not
00:13:03 00:13:07 always the video it's you know there's
00:13:05 00:13:09 it all cut yeah
00:13:07 00:13:10 it's all-encompassing yeah so i have to
00:13:09 00:13:13 balance everything together so
00:13:10 00:13:14 so yeah i want to tok about that let's
00:13:13 00:13:17 kind of tok about how do
00:13:14 00:13:18 you kind of you know how have you
00:13:17 00:13:20 learned to validate
00:13:18 00:13:22 like what's worth your time or not right
00:13:20 00:13:23 because obviously you you value your
00:13:22 00:13:26 time a lot you hired
00:13:23 00:13:27 us to kind of do this stuff for you um
00:13:26 00:13:29 but now like
00:13:27 00:13:30 now like when you are now trying to grow
00:13:29 00:13:33 your company
00:13:30 00:13:34 right yeah what do you how are you
