00:01:11 00:01:14 currently making over 250
00:01:12 00:01:16 a day for a product and i wish i could
00:01:14 00:01:18 show you the ad i can't because that is
00:01:16 00:01:19 being used as an example inside of our
00:01:18 00:01:21 performance dropshipping program

00:01:57 00:01:59 million dollar numbers and 10 million
00:01:58 00:02:00 and
00:01:59 00:02:02 you know i tok about certain levels of
00:02:00 00:02:03 stuff but i believe that base is super
00:02:02 00:02:04 important because
00:02:03 00:02:06 you know what a hundred dollars a day is
00:02:04 00:02:08 three grand a month and i remember when
00:02:06 00:02:09 i was making about two thousand dollars
00:02:08 00:02:11 a month and it was
00:02:09 00:02:13 saving that money and being able to kind
00:02:11 00:02:13 of accumulate five six seven thousand
00:02:13 00:02:15 dollars
00:02:13 00:02:17 that let me start my business in the
00:02:15 00:02:19 e-commerce space very successfully
00:02:17 00:02:20 that's what led me obviously i lost it
00:02:19 00:02:22 all the first time but having that
00:02:20 00:02:24 little bit of income really helped me
00:02:22 00:02:25 build that base and without it i
00:02:24 00:02:25 wouldn't have the business that i have

00:02:39 00:02:42 in terms of your targeting
00:02:40 00:02:43 because it's a very unique platform okay
00:02:42 00:02:45 so we're gonna tok about that if you're

00:03:16 00:03:19 lot more money but it's an undervalued
00:03:18 00:03:21 platform
00:03:19 00:03:22 okay and it might be a little bit
00:03:21 00:03:24 different than facebook but
00:03:22 00:03:26 the principles are still the same now
00:03:24 00:03:28 instagram influencers are just starting
00:03:26 00:03:29 to get proper pricing like hey i have 4
00:03:28 00:03:31 million followers
00:03:29 00:03:33 i get 800 000 story views which would be
00:03:31 00:03:35 great i charge fifteen thousand dollars
00:03:33 00:03:35 for a story promo or seven thousand
00:03:35 00:03:37 dollars
00:03:35 00:03:39 their pricing is just starting to get up
00:03:37 00:03:40 there kind of being valued at what it
00:03:39 00:03:43 should be
00:03:40 00:03:43 well tiktok people are absolutely
00:03:43 00:03:45 undervalued
00:03:43 00:03:47 in fact i saw someone with over 2
00:03:45 00:03:49 million followers
00:03:47 00:03:51 getting millions of views per video she
00:03:49 00:03:52 mentioned in a description of a video
00:03:51 00:03:55 that she was gonna do
00:03:52 00:03:56 shout outs for 250 i was like honey i
00:03:55 00:03:58 will take one of myself
00:03:56 00:03:59 for my personal page which by the way
00:03:58 00:04:01 follow me over there if you haven't
00:03:59 00:04:03 already we've had some videos pop off
00:04:01 00:04:06 not gonna lie some funny stuff
00:04:03 00:04:07 but instagram has now kind of caught up
00:04:06 00:04:09 after all this time
00:04:07 00:04:11 but tiktok is gonna take years to get
00:04:09 00:04:12 to that point now there is a huge flaw
00:04:11 00:04:14 with the instagram influencer
00:04:12 00:04:16 side of thing but taking that over to
00:04:14 00:04:18 tik-tok and that is the
00:04:16 00:04:19 getting in contact piece it's not as
00:04:18 00:04:21 easy to just dm someone
00:04:19 00:04:23 a lot of these influencers do not have
00:04:21 00:04:25 an email button in their bio
00:04:23 00:04:26 on tiktok so it's a little bit more
00:04:25 00:04:27 difficult you have to try something else
00:04:26 00:04:29 to get their attention
00:04:27 00:04:31 personally i recommend you look at them
00:04:29 00:04:32 on other platforms see if you can find
00:04:31 00:04:33 their instagram page and hit them up
00:04:32 00:04:34 over there
00:04:33 00:04:37 that might be a better alternative but
00:04:34 00:04:39 the pricing is very undervalued still
00:04:37 00:04:40 and that provides a huge opportunity
00:04:39 00:04:42 now that's not even what we're going to
00:04:40 00:04:44 be toking about in this video so that
00:04:42 00:04:46 was just some extra free game for y'all
00:04:44 00:04:47 but we're going to tok about the ad
00:04:46 00:04:49 platform which is new
00:04:47 00:04:51 tiktok is clearly here to stay they
00:04:49 00:04:53 recently rolled out their ad platform
00:04:51 00:04:54 that's a big deal i don't think a lot of
00:04:53 00:04:56 people understand the cost and the
00:04:54 00:04:57 algorithms behind that
00:04:56 00:04:59 for a social media platform to have an
00:04:57 00:05:00 entire advertising end of it
00:04:59 00:05:02 i mean that's massive that means they're
00:05:00 00:05:03 probably not going anywhere you know
00:05:02 00:05:04 it's clearly they're one of the biggest
00:05:03 00:05:06 platforms now so
00:05:04 00:05:08 one thing you got to think about is
00:05:06 00:05:10 using a native ad this is something you
00:05:08 00:05:12 can get away with out on platforms like
00:05:10 00:05:12 youtube ads and you know doing stuff
00:05:12 00:05:14 like
00:05:12 00:05:16 instagram influencers and facebook ads
00:05:14 00:05:17 but a native ad is always going to
00:05:16 00:05:18 perform better in pretty much every
00:05:17 00:05:19 situation
00:05:18 00:05:21 especially on tiktok okay we're going
00:05:19 00:05:22 to tok about this but if you don't do
00:05:21 00:05:23 it
00:05:22 00:05:25 your views are going to be terrible so i
00:05:23 00:05:26 saw this one girl dancing on tiktok
00:05:25 00:05:27 she's a couple million followers that's
00:05:26 00:05:29 all she does she dances well that's
00:05:27 00:05:29 pretty much every girl and tiktok nah
00:05:29 00:05:31 i'm just kidding
00:05:29 00:05:32 but this girl did like really cool break
00:05:31 00:05:35 dancing and stuff
00:05:32 00:05:36 and then this energy drink company tried
00:05:35 00:05:38 to do a promotion with her
00:05:36 00:05:40 and it was just her holding it toking
00:05:38 00:05:41 about it so not only was the thumbnail
00:05:40 00:05:44 on her page completely different
00:05:41 00:05:45 it got like 8 000 views all of her other
00:05:44 00:05:46 videos get like 3 million
00:05:45 00:05:49 so that's what happens when you don't
00:05:46 00:05:50 actually have an influencer post
00:05:49 00:05:52 correlate with what their content is
00:05:50 00:05:54 your views just tank and you're not
00:05:52 00:05:55 going to get a good return at all so
00:05:54 00:05:57 that's kind of the influencer side of
00:05:55 00:05:58 things let's tok about the advertising
00:05:57 00:05:59 now tiktok has a motto do you know
00:05:58 00:06:01 what it is
00:05:59 00:06:02 the motto for their advertising platform
00:06:01 00:06:05 make a tiktok
00:06:02 00:06:06 not an ad okay and this is interesting
00:06:05 00:06:07 this is a
00:06:06 00:06:09 kind of a cool idea what they're
00:06:07 00:06:10 basically saying is you need to make a
00:06:09 00:06:11 native ad so that people don't realize
00:06:10 00:06:13 it's an ad
00:06:11 00:06:14 so the cool thing about a sponsored post
00:06:13 00:06:16 on tiktok you can't
00:06:14 00:06:17 really tell because most people are just
00:06:16 00:06:17 kind of scrolling and they look at the
00:06:17 00:06:19 video
00:06:17 00:06:21 you'll get a decent watch time on your
00:06:19 00:06:22 tiktok ad even if people don't know it's
00:06:21 00:06:24 a sponsored post as long as you
00:06:22 00:06:26 structure it correctly so
00:06:24 00:06:27 that's their motto but just to be honest
00:06:26 00:06:30 i've had great success
00:06:27 00:06:31 great success great success with
00:06:30 00:06:34 standard
00:06:31 00:06:35 vertikal ads primarily animations so you
00:06:34 00:06:36 guys know what i do i do a lot of 2d
00:06:35 00:06:38 animations
00:06:36 00:06:40 combo mix style ads where we basically
00:06:38 00:06:42 mix an animation of a product
00:06:40 00:06:43 and we have real clips mixed in there
00:06:42 00:06:45 keeps the engagement high looks really
00:06:43 00:06:47 cool it's a great visual okay
00:06:45 00:06:48 now only recently the last two months or
00:06:47 00:06:50 so have we started putting
00:06:48 00:06:52 actual effort into making an ad be
00:06:50 00:06:53 native meaning it's going to have one of
00:06:52 00:06:55 these things
00:06:53 00:06:56 maybe a conversation between two people
00:06:55 00:06:58 some sort of funny joke with like an
00:06:56 00:07:00 extra punch line at the end
00:06:58 00:07:02 using different viral sounds making a
00:07:00 00:07:04 cool video around it or a testimony
00:07:02 00:07:05 where it feels like someone telling a
00:07:04 00:07:07 story about what happened
00:07:05 00:07:08 and how something solved their problem
00:07:07 00:07:10 just if you're not familiar with tik
00:07:08 00:07:11 tok you'd have to download the app get
00:07:10 00:07:13 familiar with kind of what people post
00:07:11 00:07:14 and you could totally build a cool ad
00:07:13 00:07:16 around your product it just may take a
00:07:14 00:07:17 little bit of time but it's very well
00:07:16 00:07:19 worth it now
00:07:17 00:07:21 up until now we've just been using viral
00:07:19 00:07:23 ecom ads standard vertikal ads
00:07:21 00:07:25 for easy startup that's kind of the low
00:07:23 00:07:26 budget easier way to test anything
00:07:25 00:07:27 whether you're doing facebook ads
00:07:26 00:07:29 tiktok ads or whatever i always
00:07:27 00:07:30 recommend that you guys check them out
00:07:29 00:07:32 viral ecom ads we do tok about this
00:07:30 00:07:33 inside the program the different way
00:07:32 00:07:34 that you can use their service
00:07:33 00:07:37 this is probably the best and most
00:07:34 00:07:38 efficient way to test a product
00:07:37 00:07:40 right because it's low budget you know
00:07:38 00:07:41 you go over here to their ad editing
00:07:40 00:07:42 services to the ad packages
00:07:41 00:07:44 you can check out all the different
00:07:42 00:07:45 things you can get a bunch of different
00:07:44 00:07:47 video ads with thumbnails
00:07:45 00:07:49 you know different story ads vertikal
00:07:47 00:07:50 ads there's so many different things
00:07:49 00:07:52 that you can get on there and you can
00:07:50 00:07:52 get combo ads you can get stuff like
00:07:52 00:07:54 that so
00:07:52 00:07:55 it's really cool they actually rolled
00:07:54 00:07:56 out an entire custom content side of
00:07:55 00:07:57 things too
00:07:56 00:07:59 they have a whole warehouse in new
00:07:57 00:08:00 jersey which is great bunch of different
00:07:59 00:08:02 sets you can send your product there
00:08:00 00:08:04 and they'll get even better videos of it
00:08:02 00:08:05 directly so a lot of stuff you can do
00:08:04 00:08:07 there to check out and
00:08:05 00:08:08 just like over here the vertikal
00:08:07 00:08:10 animation ad that'd be a pretty easy
00:08:08 00:08:11 thing for stories
00:08:10 00:08:14 tiktok snapchat anything where you need
00:08:11 00:08:15 the vertikal elongated size
00:08:14 00:08:17 so that's definitely something to check
00:08:15 00:08:18 out and it's an easy way to make a tik
00:08:17 00:08:19 tok without having to have your product
00:08:18 00:08:21 in hand if you don't have that
00:08:19 00:08:23 if you do it's great and definitely go
00:08:21 00:08:24 ahead and try one of these four styles
00:08:23 00:08:26 they're really not that hard to make
00:08:24 00:08:27 especially when you have it in your hand
00:08:26 00:08:29 so if you've ordered the product

00:08:42 00:08:46 i can target dr phil narrowed by people
00:08:45 00:08:49 who are interested
00:08:46 00:08:51 in hip-hop narrowed by people who are
00:08:49 00:08:51 already previously categorized by
00:08:51 00:08:53 engaged
00:08:51 00:08:55 shoppers meaning they have a history of
00:08:53 00:08:57 spending money online with facebook
00:08:55 00:08:58 like you can get so specific on tik
00:08:57 00:08:59 tok it's like
00:08:58 00:09:01 nope you're just gonna target
00:08:59 00:09:03 entertainment or health
00:09:01 00:09:04 or cars like whatever it is you know
00:09:03 00:09:05 it's very general i'm gonna show you
00:09:04 00:09:06 that here in a moment
00:09:05 00:09:07 now like i mentioned i would love to
00:09:06 00:09:09 show the ad that we were using it's just
00:09:07 00:09:11 being used as an example in the program
00:09:09 00:09:12 so you'll be able to see that in there
00:09:11 00:09:13 but i show a bunch of different
00:09:12 00:09:15 creatives for it ad copy we read all
00:09:13 00:09:16 that stuff for tiktok for facebook i
00:09:15 00:09:17 show you all the ad strategies inside of
00:09:16 00:09:19 that beta group
00:09:17 00:09:21 now what i recommend from a targeting
00:09:19 00:09:22 perspective just kind of from a broad
00:09:21 00:09:24 simple starting perspective
00:09:22 00:09:26 pick two broad angles of targeting i
00:09:24 00:09:27 would launch two separate ones to start
00:09:26 00:09:30 and i'll show you that in a moment
00:09:27 00:09:31 each ad you should put your daily budget
00:09:30 00:09:32 slightly above the minimum
00:09:31 00:09:35 so the campaign level they have a
00:09:32 00:09:36 minimum of 50 over on the ad set
00:09:35 00:09:38 of 20. so i always recommend people go a
00:09:36 00:09:39 little bit higher than that
00:09:38 00:09:42 just like if you're selecting your bid
00:09:39 00:09:44 cost always out bid because what happens
00:09:42 00:09:45 when you set the minimum budget on any
00:09:44 00:09:47 advertising platform
00:09:45 00:09:49 i'll bet you 80 to 90 of advertisers do
00:09:47 00:09:51 that so now you're grouped in with them
00:09:49 00:09:53 competing against them
00:09:51 00:09:55 when in reality if you just adjusted
00:09:53 00:09:58 your budget ever so slightly
00:09:55 00:09:59 it was from 20 to 25 a day you'd be able
00:09:58 00:10:01 to outbid a lot of these people for
00:09:59 00:10:02 customers and you would get preferred
00:10:01 00:10:04 targeting on tiktok on facebook
00:10:02 00:10:05 whatever the platform is
00:10:04 00:10:07 so a lot of people just don't know to do
00:10:05 00:10:10 that there you go there's some free game
00:10:07 00:10:11 now after you get things running and
00:10:10 00:10:14 launch it
00:10:11 00:10:16 let it optimize the cool thing about a
00:10:14 00:10:17 new platform is that they're eager to
00:10:16 00:10:18 please their advertiser right at the end
00:10:17 00:10:20 of the day they make a ton of money
00:10:18 00:10:22 if you're advertising it's like facebook
00:10:20 00:10:22 because there's not a ton of cost
00:10:22 00:10:24 they're just
00:10:22 00:10:25 you're paying them like i'm paying a
00:10:24 00:10:27 million dollars a month pretty much
00:10:25 00:10:29 to go ahead and place ads in front of
00:10:27 00:10:30 their audience which it's their audience
00:10:29 00:10:31 there's not a lot of cost to do that
00:10:30 00:10:32 besides all the employees and the
00:10:31 00:10:34 systems right
00:10:32 00:10:35 so you jump over to tiktok here tik
00:10:34 00:10:36 tok like we mentioned with the motto
00:10:35 00:10:38 don't make
00:10:36 00:10:40 ads make tiktoks we go over here into
00:10:38 00:10:42 the targeting this is on the ad group
00:10:40 00:10:43 level underneath campaigns
00:10:42 00:10:45 this is where you insert your custom
00:10:43 00:10:46 audiences and things of that nature for
00:10:45 00:10:47 retargeting lookalikes anything like
00:10:46 00:10:48 that
00:10:47 00:10:50 select your location you will notike
00:10:48 00:10:50 this very different than different
00:10:50 00:10:52 platforms
00:10:50 00:10:54 like facebook or google because tiktok
00:10:52 00:10:56 isn't available everywhere
00:10:54 00:10:57 so for an example over here to united
00:10:56 00:10:59 kingdom
00:10:57 00:11:01 doesn't exist and that's part of the top
00:10:59 00:11:03 quality audience that we use on facebook
00:11:01 00:11:04 called the top four so can't target that
00:11:03 00:11:05 on tiktok
00:11:04 00:11:07 now you can select your normal platform
00:11:05 00:11:10 style stuff gender age all that
00:11:07 00:11:11 but you can go down here interests
00:11:10 00:11:12 behaviors
00:11:11 00:11:14 different things of this nature we'll
00:11:12 00:11:16 delete this out i'll show you
00:11:14 00:11:17 inside of facebook you type in your
00:11:16 00:11:19 interest and there's probably millions
00:11:17 00:11:21 there's people there's companies
00:11:19 00:11:22 there's general ideas there's jobs i
00:11:21 00:11:24 mean it goes so deep you used to be able
00:11:22 00:11:27 to target people based on their income
00:11:24 00:11:28 now you go over to tiktok it's broad
00:11:27 00:11:30 it's broad let's say i'm selling a board
00:11:28 00:11:32 game like monopoly okay
00:11:30 00:11:34 what are you gonna target on here okay
00:11:32 00:11:36 you got apparel and accessories
00:11:34 00:11:37 okay that's not gonna be it education
00:11:36 00:11:39 nope
00:11:37 00:11:41 games there you go games by type they
00:11:39 00:11:43 got a couple different
00:11:41 00:11:45 categories this is actually probably the
00:11:43 00:11:46 most specific one
00:11:45 00:11:48 inside of tiktok which is why i gave
00:11:46 00:11:49 you that example everything else is
00:11:48 00:11:51 pretty dang broad
00:11:49 00:11:52 so for an example if we're selling some
00:11:51 00:11:54 sort of makeup brush for women which is
00:11:52 00:11:56 a product that we've sold before
00:11:54 00:11:58 you would go under beauty and personal
00:11:56 00:12:00 care and it would be under cosmetiks
00:11:58 00:12:01 they are getting more specific with the
00:12:00 00:12:03 amount of stuff that you can have
00:12:01 00:12:05 but it's still such a general targeting
00:12:03 00:12:06 you're not able to target any companies
00:12:05 00:12:07 which is a great benefit over on
00:12:06 00:12:08 facebook i mean targeting your
00:12:07 00:12:10 competitors
00:12:08 00:12:12 that makes perfect sense but on here
00:12:10 00:12:13 it's just not something that's available
00:12:12 00:12:13 yet but you can still get pretty
