00:00:42 00:00:49 Shopify I one of my stores that actually
00:00:47 00:00:55 took down recently just because it was
00:00:49 00:00:56 give me a lot more work than that profit
00:00:55 00:00:58 right I was only making like $1,000 a
00:00:56 00:01:00 month and I was just too much work for
00:00:58 00:01:02 the [ __ ] profit I was getting but I
00:01:00 00:01:05 wanted to kind of give you guys some
00:01:02 00:01:06 direction and some ideas to think about
00:01:05 00:01:08 when you guys are building a shop if I

00:01:37 00:01:41 people around me um they do Sean who
00:01:39 00:01:45 haven't needed to do a quality meat
00:01:41 00:01:49 items some some successful Shopify as
00:01:45 00:01:53 well and we plan to have a person but

00:01:53 00:02:00 different shop if I start that I've seen
00:01:54 00:02:03 worked and why they were so one type of

00:03:01 00:03:08 reasons Facebook ads are more and more
00:03:04 00:03:11 expensive right the margin on some of
00:03:08 00:03:14 these things are relatively high but you
00:03:11 00:03:16 want to have unique designs so that lets
00:03:14 00:03:19 say you're spending ten twenty dollars
00:03:16 00:03:21 to get one buyer it could be a potential
00:03:19 00:03:24 repeat buyer right so this place might
00:03:21 00:03:26 buy from you once and then might come
00:03:24 00:03:28 back and buy from you again and you
00:03:26 00:03:33 would have spent $20 to get that get
00:03:28 00:03:36 that um get that custom the issue is
00:03:33 00:03:36 with um
00:03:38 00:03:42 what was I saying yeah the issue with
00:03:40 00:03:45 would use an Aliexpress are those type
00:03:42 00:03:49 of things in that model is that
00:03:45 00:03:52 generally speaking you don't how to
00:03:49 00:03:54 explain you don't tend to get a lot of
00:03:52 00:03:57 repeat customers because a lot of you
00:03:54 00:04:00 guys are choosing Aliexpress shipment
00:03:57 00:04:02 choosing random item shipping takes
00:04:00 00:04:05 forever you're gonna get angry customers
00:04:02 00:04:07 or not type of thing another thing with
00:04:05 00:04:09 the custom work it is unique right you
00:04:07 00:04:11 have to get good designers you have to
00:04:09 00:04:13 get you have to have an eye for sitting
00:04:11 00:04:15 sort of apparel or whatever you choose
00:04:13 00:04:16 oh you have to be very creative and
00:04:15 00:04:19 there's a lot of testing involved I
00:04:16 00:04:20 remember Sean mentioning and we didn't
00:04:19 00:04:22 have a long conversation about this
00:04:20 00:04:25 stuff we supposed to but Sean mentioned
00:04:22 00:04:27 and he went our hands-on training in
00:04:25 00:04:30 Canada and these guys are spending
00:04:27 00:04:32 $1,000 a day on Facebook ads so there's
00:04:30 00:04:34 a lot of testing and retesting and
00:04:32 00:04:36 retesting and tests in certain exams and
00:04:34 00:04:39 going back and the margins are about 40%
00:04:36 00:04:41 I say all of that because a lot of you
00:04:39 00:04:46 guys who jump into this and buy courses
00:04:41 00:04:48 don't understand or don't have any sort
00:04:46 00:04:51 of perspective and how much money you
00:04:48 00:04:55 are gonna end up spending to figure out
00:04:51 00:04:58 if you could be profitable or not that's
00:04:55 00:04:59 it so that's one example and I just
00:04:58 00:05:00 wanted to bring up a certain things to
00:04:59 00:05:03 give you guys kind of perspective
00:05:00 00:05:08 another example of a Shopify store that
00:05:03 00:05:11 I saw successful using Aliexpress and
00:05:08 00:05:16 stores that focus on a couple very
00:05:11 00:05:19 unique items not not just throwing about
00:05:16 00:05:21 a ton of cheap $0.99 necklaces and
00:05:19 00:05:24 trying to sell them for $20 or sheep
00:05:21 00:05:27 whatever differ but focusing on very
00:05:24 00:05:29 unique items that you find on Aliexpress
00:05:27 00:05:31 that
00:05:29 00:05:33 could seemingly be very unique and more
00:05:31 00:05:36 expensive I'll give you a couple of
00:05:33 00:05:38 examples one example that I saw was a
00:05:36 00:05:40 knife sharpener it was a very unique
00:05:38 00:05:44 knife sharpener that sharpened really
00:05:40 00:05:46 fast right it but it was cheaper was
00:05:44 00:05:48 like fifteen dollars or something but
00:05:46 00:05:51 when you compare to other things in us
00:05:48 00:05:53 to look the same they were like $100 so
00:05:51 00:05:56 the guy that I that did that that did
00:05:53 00:05:58 that store created videos about the
00:05:56 00:06:01 knife sharpener he actually bought it
00:05:58 00:06:03 had it had it at his house and created a
00:06:01 00:06:06 lot of hype around that product and
00:06:03 00:06:08 drive traffic to that product and
00:06:06 00:06:10 specifically because you could find
00:06:08 00:06:12 people on Facebook ads well we were
00:06:10 00:06:16 interested in cooking you can find chefs
00:06:12 00:06:19 and and you can find mothers housewives
00:06:16 00:06:20 so you could drive traffic specifically
00:06:19 00:06:22 to the person that you know what we
00:06:20 00:06:24 interested in that item and you still
00:06:22 00:06:31 have a big margin and because you focus
00:06:24 00:06:31 what no I
00:06:33 00:06:39 okay well one second so you can you can
00:06:37 00:06:41 use him and also you could pass in
00:06:39 00:06:44 galerias and see if you find out a
00:06:41 00:06:47 tripod in RadioShack but yeah and it was
00:06:44 00:06:49 it yeah you could focus often you could
00:06:47 00:06:51 focus on that one product there huge
00:06:49 00:06:53 margins but you have to understand you
00:06:51 00:06:54 gonna end up spending more volunteer
00:06:53 00:06:56 hours a day in mark didn't know if it
00:06:54 00:06:57 works you want to make sure the
00:06:56 00:07:00 designers get you want to make sure it
00:06:57 00:07:01 compares other computing stores so I
