00:05:56 00:05:59 website it shouldn't look like it was
00:05:57 00:06:02 just made in southeast asia with stok
00:05:59 00:06:04 photography it should actually look like
00:06:02 00:06:07 you this is his actual work here in

00:06:07 00:06:10 website and it's branded and the colors
00:06:09 00:06:11 and the imagery and everything is done

00:06:15 00:06:18 what you're gonna find is that people
00:06:16 00:06:20 are much more likely to choose you
00:06:18 00:06:23 because it's not just nonsense that it's
00:06:20 00:06:25 a huge deal you've got to make sure that
00:06:23 00:06:28 your website has an authentik look and
00:06:25 00:06:29 feel to it rather than looking so stok
00:06:28 00:06:32 and then the everything this is from
00:06:29 00:06:32 don't choose a template get custom
00:06:32 00:06:34 and it doesn't have to be super
00:06:32 00:06:36 expensive either so that's number two is
00:06:34 00:06:39 look authentik and get good branding
00:06:36 00:06:41 branding means a good logo with colors
00:06:39 00:06:43 you know secondary colors and and off
00:06:41 00:06:45 colors and then you get typography that
00:06:43 00:06:46 makes sense and it's coherent you know
00:06:45 00:06:48 there should be an organized structure
00:06:46 00:06:50 to the whole thing when you get in there
00:06:48 00:06:53 you really want to make sure that your
00:06:50 00:06:54 your fonts your colors and everything is
00:06:53 00:06:56 playing well with each other that
00:06:54 00:06:58 there's a coherence with what you're
00:06:56 00:07:01 doing um and you'll see i think that we
00:06:58 00:07:03 just do a fantastik i know we do
00:07:01 00:07:05 it these people
00:07:03 00:07:07 they're making a lot of money because of
00:07:05 00:07:09 this so we just want you to know that
00:07:07 00:07:11 that's a big deal number three is you
00:07:09 00:07:12 want to build credibility and trust with
00:07:11 00:07:15 reviews
00:07:12 00:07:17 and examples of your work number three
00:07:15 00:07:19 reviews and examples of your work now
00:07:17 00:07:22 this this guy we're getting new reviews
00:07:19 00:07:24 going but um i should be able to come to
00:07:22 00:07:26 your website hit reviews and see your
00:07:24 00:07:28 house reviews your google reviews not
00:07:26 00:07:31 only that but if you can you want to
00:07:28 00:07:33 expand this into a bigger situation
00:07:31 00:07:35 where not only the google reviews here
00:07:33 00:07:37 but maybe what you do is you have client
00:07:35 00:07:38 reviews and client testimonials so
00:07:37 00:07:41 that's something that we've been doing
00:07:38 00:07:43 on each sub page here for um for example

00:07:45 00:07:48 for people if you're in the city

00:08:47 00:08:50 a high converting website and that's
00:08:49 00:08:52 kind of what i'm reading off of or
00:08:50 00:08:55 working off of you have does it look
00:08:52 00:08:56 good does it say the right things and
00:08:55 00:08:58 then how do you build credibility
00:08:56 00:09:00 there's three major ways you build
00:08:58 00:09:01 credibility customer reviews customer
00:09:00 00:09:03 testimonials and examples of your work
00:09:01 00:09:06 so that is number three you've got to
00:09:03 00:09:07 build credibility with trust and reviews
00:09:06 00:09:10 or build trust and credibility with
00:09:07 00:09:13 reviews and examples of your work number
00:09:10 00:09:15 four you gotta focus on local
00:09:13 00:09:17 seo okay so if i were to just jump on
00:09:15 00:09:22 here what you need to know is that
00:09:17 00:09:23 remodelers near me you get a shortcut to
00:09:22 00:09:25 dominate that other people don't so you
00:09:23 00:09:27 have google ads up here which is super
00:09:25 00:09:29 competitive on some of these keywords
00:09:27 00:09:32 and then what you have is you have the
00:09:29 00:09:35 google my business this local is
00:09:32 00:09:37 everything local google my business is
00:09:35 00:09:39 where you can win and we know we have a
00:09:37 00:09:41 strategy that works to get you ranking
00:09:39 00:09:43 really high on that and you kind of
00:09:41 00:09:45 start with a good website your google my
00:09:43 00:09:46 business then you get as many reviews as
00:09:45 00:09:48 you can you build out your website as
00:09:46 00:09:50 deep as you can you have a services
00:09:48 00:09:51 system i'll hit on that in a second
00:09:50 00:09:53 eventually what you want is you need
00:09:51 00:09:55 more backlinks to your website you need
00:09:53 00:09:56 location pages you need services pages
00:09:55 00:09:59 there's a bunch that goes into it but at
00:09:56 00:10:01 its most basic you just need to focus on
00:09:59 00:10:04 this google my business and the thing
00:10:01 00:10:05 you can do that that will work no matter
00:10:04 00:10:07 what whether you work with a firm or do
00:10:05 00:10:09 it on yourself get reviews from as many
00:10:07 00:10:10 people as you can here's a quick tip i
00:10:09 00:10:12 don't want to belabor this i'm going to
00:10:10 00:10:14 move on to the next point
00:10:12 00:10:15 but we get it getting reviews for
00:10:14 00:10:16 construction is hard and the reason why
00:10:15 00:10:19 it's hard
00:10:16 00:10:21 it's okay it's hard because you're going
00:10:19 00:10:23 to the well so many times the trust well
00:10:21 00:10:24 many times throughout the project
00:10:23 00:10:26 because you're doing a difficult thing
00:10:24 00:10:28 you're doing construction construction
00:10:26 00:10:29 is not easy so it makes sense that by
00:10:28 00:10:31 the time you're done you kind of tiptoe
00:10:29 00:10:32 out the front door the customer's happy
00:10:31 00:10:34 with what they want you don't want to
00:10:32 00:10:36 disrupt it if you were to ask like is
00:10:34 00:10:37 there anything else i can do for you
00:10:36 00:10:39 they probably bring up five more things
00:10:37 00:10:41 because it's an unending like well i
00:10:39 00:10:43 guess this could be smoother that tile's
00:10:41 00:10:44 a little off or whatever it is right so
00:10:43 00:10:46 i understand that a lot of times you
00:10:44 00:10:48 don't want to go back to it but if you
00:10:46 00:10:51 build the expectation
00:10:48 00:10:53 and and cause them to really like you
00:10:51 00:10:55 eventually you can just send them a text
00:10:53 00:10:56 and say hey it would mean so much to us
00:10:55 00:10:58 if you gave a google review that says
00:10:56 00:11:00 that we actually remodeled your basement
00:10:58 00:11:02 we did your patio and that you like it i
00:11:00 00:11:04 know that this is a process and if you
00:11:02 00:11:05 frame up the process of construction to
00:11:04 00:11:07 people they get it that this is not
00:11:05 00:11:08 something that's easy there's going to
00:11:07 00:11:10 be change orders there's going to be
00:11:08 00:11:13 difficulties you can get more reviews
00:11:10 00:11:14 but that's huge focus on local search
00:11:13 00:11:16 that is the number one thing for you
00:11:14 00:11:18 number five get professional photos in
00:11:16 00:11:20 your gear and hats okay i can't
00:11:18 00:11:22 emphasize this enough this is probably
00:11:20 00:11:24 more home services than anything but you
00:11:22 00:11:26 know when it came to frederickson
00:11:24 00:11:28 contracting here he's a great guy i told
00:11:26 00:11:30 him grab a shirt and let's go get a
00:11:28 00:11:32 picture you for crying all out it's part
00:11:30 00:11:34 of that authentik look and feel like
00:11:32 00:11:36 let's actually make your stuff look like
00:11:34 00:11:38 you right another example that we did
00:11:36 00:11:39 this for was there was applied power the
00:11:38 00:11:41 site's not quite done yet we're still
00:11:39 00:11:43 doing it you know they don't have they
00:11:41 00:11:45 have a big warehouse with a bunch of
00:11:43 00:11:46 warehouse stuff we made some shirts and
00:11:45 00:11:48 some hats and threw some shirts on some
00:11:46 00:11:49 people and then we went and did some
00:11:48 00:11:51 photography for them and that
00:11:49 00:11:53 photography makes it so that we have
00:11:51 00:11:56 some some clear stuff we just
00:11:53 00:11:57 get some professional photography um
00:11:56 00:11:58 another example of this would be we've
00:11:57 00:12:01 got um
00:11:58 00:12:05 oh what is it we've got all
00:12:01 00:12:07 oh albright home services these guys
00:12:05 00:12:08 threw some shirts on got their truck you
00:12:07 00:12:10 know get in front of your truck and take
00:12:08 00:12:12 some cool photos and what'll happen is
00:12:10 00:12:14 you will start to get um so this is him
00:12:12 00:12:17 on the phone he's actually there here's
00:12:14 00:12:18 a photo of him and his sons
00:12:17 00:12:20 here's them actually doing the windows
00:12:18 00:12:22 and as you go through this you're gonna
00:12:20 00:12:25 find that by having good imagery with
00:12:22 00:12:27 you and your team you just genuinely
00:12:25 00:12:28 your site's gonna look better
00:12:27 00:12:30 everything's gonna look better so just
00:12:28 00:12:32 get some imagery that works
00:12:30 00:12:34 um it's huge
00:12:32 00:12:37 it really enhances your website um
00:12:34 00:12:39 that's a huge tip go do that hire us to
00:12:37 00:12:41 do if you're local here but otherwise
00:12:39 00:12:44 other people can number six build a
00:12:41 00:12:46 robust service page system okay so every
00:12:44 00:12:48 service that you have needs to have its
00:12:46 00:12:50 own page this is a great example of it
00:12:48 00:12:52 right window cleaning gutter cleaning
00:12:50 00:12:55 gutter covers roof heat cables pressure
00:12:52 00:12:56 and soft watching each one of these look
00:12:55 00:12:58 different they're optimized for seo
00:12:56 00:13:00 different they will communicate to
00:12:58 00:13:03 google my business
00:13:00 00:13:05 what you do and it will help you rank
00:13:03 00:13:07 for more keywords you know when we're in
00:13:05 00:13:09 the remodelers here you got to have a
00:13:07 00:13:12 service page for each type of service
00:13:09 00:13:15 kitchens bathrooms and basements all get
00:13:12 00:13:16 their own additions commercial jobs they
00:13:15 00:13:19 all get their own pages and the reason
00:13:16 00:13:21 why so here on an exteriors right we're
00:13:19 00:13:23 going to show you services all services
00:13:21 00:13:24 there's an all services page then as you
00:13:23 00:13:27 come through you've got exterior
00:13:24 00:13:29 painting decks siding roofing we've got
00:13:27 00:13:31 it up in the menu or the navigation
00:13:29 00:13:33 we've got it on this page we've got it
00:13:31 00:13:35 down here in the footer throughout the
00:13:33 00:13:37 entire website we have it sprinkled
00:13:35 00:13:39 throughout in fact i usually put a ui
00:13:37 00:13:41 really top so that we're communicating
00:13:39 00:13:44 what is the most important thing that we
00:13:41 00:13:46 do we do these services and you can hop
00:13:44 00:13:48 through each one of these and by having
00:13:46 00:13:50 a page for each one of them so this
00:13:48 00:13:53 siding siding and exterior remodels
00:13:50 00:13:55 right that's different than roof repair
00:13:53 00:13:57 and if you don't have a page for each
00:13:55 00:13:59 one of these you're not going to rank um
00:13:57 00:14:02 again new spaces for example they do a
00:13:59 00:14:04 great job of this we've got a couple
00:14:02 00:14:05 other guys here that i think are are
00:14:04 00:14:08 worth looking at we've got logan
00:14:05 00:14:10 construction this is another um you know
00:14:08 00:14:12 they do
00:14:10 00:14:15 decks and exterior and remodels window
00:14:12 00:14:17 replacement right so what we do here is
00:14:15 00:14:20 by having each page have its own
00:14:17 00:14:22 set of images and it's optimized for the
00:14:20 00:14:24 sub landing page you're going to rank
00:14:22 00:14:26 for more keywords if you don't do that
00:14:24 00:14:28 it's incredibly hard to rank for more
00:14:26 00:14:31 keywords but also if you run google ads
00:14:28 00:14:33 to these you get a thing where your
00:14:31 00:14:35 search terms so if you run for window
00:14:33 00:14:36 company near me or window replacement
00:14:35 00:14:39 versus roofing
00:14:36 00:14:40 if you have that sub ad group and google
00:14:39 00:14:42 ads have its own landing page that's
00:14:40 00:14:45 hyper optimized for it when you have a
00:14:42 00:14:47 keyword and the ad and the landing page
00:14:45 00:14:49 have a super relevance between each
00:14:47 00:14:52 other you get a high google ad rank
00:14:49 00:14:54 which dramatikally lowers your cost per
00:14:52 00:14:56 click and it will increase your
