00:00:48 00:00:54 failing so you can build a long-term
00:00:50 00:00:56 profitable Amazon FBA business so let's
00:00:54 00:00:58 get right into it so reason number one
00:00:56 00:01:01 that people are consistently failing
00:00:58 00:01:03 when selling on Amazon FBA is because of
00:01:01 00:01:04 their product research your product
00:01:03 00:01:07 research your products are the
00:01:04 00:01:08 foundation of your Amazon business if
00:01:07 00:01:10 you don't pick products that the
00:01:08 00:01:12 products too competitive or the product
00:01:10 00:01:13 is not have enough sales within that
00:01:12 00:01:15 market for you to be able to enter that
00:01:13 00:01:17 market and take enough sales for it to
00:01:15 00:01:19 make it worth your time then you're not
00:01:17 00:01:21 going to be able to build a long-term or
00:01:19 00:01:23 scalable profitable Amazon business and
00:01:21 00:01:26 I mean there's a few different reasons
00:01:23 00:01:28 to why people just keep failing when it
00:01:26 00:01:30 comes to product research either one
00:01:28 00:01:33 they're rushing the process they're not
00:01:30 00:01:34 using the proper like search tool
00:01:33 00:01:36 they're not using a jungle Scout they're
00:01:34 00:01:38 just trying to go through and save as
00:01:36 00:01:39 much money as possible they're trying to
00:01:38 00:01:41 get their product that the Amazon would
00:01:39 00:01:43 the fastest that they can which is a
00:01:41 00:01:44 good thing I mean obviously you want to
00:01:43 00:01:47 find a product and you want to get that
00:01:44 00:01:49 product branded private label and then
00:01:47 00:01:51 get it listed and sold on Amazon as
00:01:49 00:01:53 quick as you can but especially for new
00:01:51 00:01:55 sellers they often rush that process
00:01:53 00:01:57 they don't understand what all exactly
00:01:55 00:02:00 goes into product research what all
00:01:57 00:02:02 exactly goes into finding a good product
00:02:00 00:02:03 analyzing the market make sure the
00:02:02 00:02:06 market isn't too competitive there
00:02:03 00:02:08 aren't too many competitors over 75
00:02:06 00:02:09 reviews over a hundred reviews and that
00:02:08 00:02:11 when you look at the market for the most
00:02:09 00:02:13 broad search term for that product that
00:02:11 00:02:15 there's an evenly dispersed amount
00:02:13 00:02:18 sails throughout the top 10 sellers so
00:02:15 00:02:20 there's not just one seller that's doing
00:02:18 00:02:22 like 3,000 units a month and everyone
00:02:20 00:02:23 else is doing 200 units a month you want
00:02:22 00:02:24 it somewhat spread out well maybe
00:02:23 00:02:26 there's a couple big sellers that are
00:02:24 00:02:27 doing five six hundred units a month
00:02:26 00:02:28 then there are the other sellers that
00:02:27 00:02:30 are doing at least two to three hundred
00:02:28 00:02:32 two where if you were to enter that
00:02:30 00:02:34 market and kind of get in as an average
00:02:32 00:02:36 seller within that mixture you're still
00:02:34 00:02:38 able to take a large percentage of the
00:02:36 00:02:40 sales anywhere from two three hundred
00:02:38 00:02:42 sales a month now depending on what that
00:02:40 00:02:46 product is selling for I mean what I
00:02:42 00:02:48 teach in my course is to use the jungle
00:02:46 00:02:50 Scout web app to do your product
00:02:48 00:02:54 research because you can go and part put
00:02:50 00:02:56 in certain criteria when um when doing
00:02:54 00:02:57 your product research for it so if you
00:02:56 00:03:00 want a product that sells anywhere from
00:02:57 00:03:01 fifteen to fifty dollars and depending
00:03:00 00:03:05 on what that product is you want maybe
00:03:01 00:03:07 300 400 sells a month minimum and you
00:03:05 00:03:08 want it to be under 50 reviews because
00:03:07 00:03:09 you don't want to be too competitive the
00:03:08 00:03:12 jungle Scout
00:03:09 00:03:15 web app is gonna pull down every result
00:03:12 00:03:18 on Amazon that fits that criteria that
00:03:15 00:03:20 fits that $15 to $50 or maybe maybe you
00:03:18 00:03:22 want a medium priced product so you want
00:03:20 00:03:25 a product that sells anywhere from 20 to
00:03:22 00:03:27 $30 and then if you're making around 8
00:03:25 00:03:28 to 10 dollars profit per unit is what
00:03:27 00:03:30 you're gonna be estimating you're making
00:03:28 00:03:31 and you want to make an additional
00:03:30 00:03:33 thousand two thousand three thousand
00:03:31 00:03:34 dollars a month or maybe just a hundred
00:03:33 00:03:36 dollars a day you're gonna want to look
00:03:34 00:03:38 for two three four hundred sales and
00:03:36 00:03:39 then you don't want it to be too
00:03:38 00:03:41 competitive if you can have it under 50
00:03:39 00:03:43 reviews under 25 reviews honestly that's
00:03:41 00:03:45 all up to you if you want to compete
00:03:43 00:03:47 against a more competitive market but
00:03:45 00:03:48 especially as a new seller I'd recommend
00:03:47 00:03:51 just going after something that's not
00:03:48 00:03:53 too competitive and what you'll learn is
00:03:51 00:03:55 you want the sales to be evenly
00:03:53 00:03:56 dispersed you obviously don't want to go
00:03:55 00:03:58 after your product with the top
00:03:56 00:04:00 competitor has 5,000 reviews and he's
00:03:58 00:04:02 taking seventy-five percent of the sales
00:04:00 00:04:04 and that mark you want to kind of evenly
00:04:02 00:04:06 spread where all the sellers on page one
00:04:04 00:04:07 are kind of having average sales maybe
00:04:06 00:04:10 there's a couple that are a little bit
00:04:07 00:04:12 higher second reason people are failing
00:04:10 00:04:14 when it comes to selling on Amazon FBA
00:04:12 00:04:16 is because they are they do not have an
00:04:14 00:04:18 optimized listing now when it comes to
00:04:16 00:04:20 selling on Amazon you're gonna be
00:04:18 00:04:23 selling the same kind of general product
00:04:20 00:04:24 compared to your competition now there
00:04:23 00:04:26 are a few ways you can obviously
00:04:24 00:04:26 differentiate your product you can
00:04:26 00:04:28 either
00:04:26 00:04:31 different variation at different colors
00:04:28 00:04:33 or bundle different items with your
00:04:31 00:04:36 product now the best way to compete
00:04:33 00:04:38 against your competition is to have an
00:04:36 00:04:40 optimized listing and what I mean by an
00:04:38 00:04:42 optimized listing is a descriptive title
00:04:40 00:04:44 bullet points and description that
00:04:42 00:04:47 describe your product ascribe the
00:04:44 00:04:48 benefits the pros of that product and
00:04:47 00:04:50 why that person that's viewing your
00:04:48 00:04:52 product listing should purchase your
00:04:50 00:04:54 product right now now that's gonna be a
00:04:52 00:04:56 huge advantage when it comes to
00:04:54 00:04:57 competing against your competition
00:04:56 00:04:59 because there's gonna be other sellers
00:04:57 00:05:01 maybe they have different price points
00:04:59 00:05:03 maybe they have a different variation
00:05:01 00:05:06 but if you can provide just high quality
00:05:03 00:05:10 high resolution photos in a very very
00:05:06 00:05:11 descriptive listing you can be able to
00:05:10 00:05:13 convert at a lot higher rate than
00:05:11 00:05:14 compared to those other listings for
00:05:13 00:05:16 instance if you just go and you take
00:05:14 00:05:17 your product and you don't get
00:05:16 00:05:18 professional photography I mean you can
00:05:17 00:05:20 get it for pretty cheap but if you just
00:05:18 00:05:22 go and you take your sister's camera and
00:05:20 00:05:24 you go take some pictures outside it's
00:05:22 00:05:26 not gonna convert very well it's just I
00:05:24 00:05:28 recommend that you just if you don't
00:05:26 00:05:29 know how to take professional pictures
00:05:28 00:05:32 you don't know how to write a really
00:05:29 00:05:36 nice copyright listing outsource it you
00:05:32 00:05:38 can outsource it on Fiverr comm fi ve RR
00:05:36 00:05:40 which is basically a website where you
00:05:38 00:05:42 can go and hire different freelancers to
00:05:40 00:05:44 do different gigs do different offers
00:05:42 00:05:45 for you so if you want someone else you
00:05:44 00:05:47 want to hire someone else to make your
00:05:45 00:05:49 whole Amazon listing I mean that's what
00:05:47 00:05:51 I do I mean you can get it done anywhere
00:05:49 00:05:55 from I don't know probably 60 to 100
00:05:51 00:05:56 dollars to get your title bullet points
00:05:55 00:05:58 a description I mean really good stuff
00:05:56 00:06:00 like lengthy that really goes into the
00:05:58 00:06:03 depth for the product you can outsource
00:06:00 00:06:04 that um how someone else did that for
00:06:03 00:06:06 you the same thing goes for a
00:06:04 00:06:08 photography you can also source that on
00:06:06 00:06:09 Fiverr and you can go and you can go
00:06:08 00:06:13 through or two or three different
00:06:09 00:06:14 photographers have your product sent to
00:06:13 00:06:16 their address so then they can take
00:06:14 00:06:17 pictures whichever one is the best
00:06:16 00:06:19 that's how you're gonna use in the
00:06:17 00:06:21 future so out of those three
00:06:19 00:06:22 photographers if you only like one
00:06:21 00:06:24 photographer that really took good
00:06:22 00:06:25 pictures had pretty good pricing well
00:06:24 00:06:27 guess what you can use that photographer
00:06:25 00:06:30 for every future product that you have
00:06:27 00:06:33 and still I can even get your listing
00:06:30 00:06:35 and your pictures done optimized high
00:06:33 00:06:37 resolution anywhere from probably under
00:06:35 00:06:39 anywhere from a hundred to two hundred
00:06:37 00:06:40 dollars if you can find pretty good
00:06:39 00:06:42 price on Fiverr
00:06:40 00:06:43 and that's a really good way to scale
00:06:42 00:06:45 your business and that gives you time to
00:06:43 00:06:47 go and work on other things like
00:06:45 00:06:49 building your ad campaigns your PPC
00:06:47 00:06:52 campaigns make sure you're getting those
00:06:49 00:06:53 set up finding ways to get reviews
00:06:52 00:06:55 making sure the other product is high
00:06:53 00:06:57 quality you're finding a supplier so
00:06:55 00:06:59 when it really comes down to it building
00:06:57 00:07:02 optimized listing is extremely extremely
00:06:59 00:07:04 important and usually like if I was to
00:07:02 00:07:06 compare the price points of my current
00:07:04 00:07:07 private label products compared to
00:07:06 00:07:09 others I would be on the higher end
00:07:07 00:07:11 spectrum of the pricing range
00:07:09 00:07:14 just because my listing is a lot more
00:07:11 00:07:15 optimized I'm converting the people that
00:07:14 00:07:18 come to my listing I'm converting them
00:07:15 00:07:20 at a lot higher rate and my pictures my
00:07:18 00:07:22 title or a lot they're a lot they look a
00:07:20 00:07:24 lot more professional they really catch
00:07:22 00:07:25 the virus i when the buyer is reading it
00:07:24 00:07:27 the bar is viewing it and that's just
00:07:25 00:07:29 going to convert and a lot and you're
00:07:27 00:07:31 getting a lot more sales for your
00:07:29 00:07:32 product and out selling your competition
00:07:31 00:07:35 the third reason that people will
00:07:32 00:07:36 consistently fail when selling on Amazon
00:07:35 00:07:38 doesn't even have to do with their
00:07:36 00:07:41 business it's because they're just plain
00:07:38 00:07:42 out lazy they have zero patience they
00:07:41 00:07:44 don't want to put the time they don't
00:07:42 00:07:46 want to put the effort into building
00:07:44 00:07:48 their business they just want to make
00:07:46 00:07:49 money overnight now it's not going to
00:07:48 00:07:51 happen like that you're not gonna be
00:07:49 00:07:52 able to set up your Amazon account
00:07:51 00:07:53 you're not gonna be able to find a
00:07:52 00:07:54 product get that product sold and
00:07:53 00:07:56 overnight it's not gonna happen in a
00:07:54 00:07:58 week it's gonna take some time for you
00:07:56 00:08:01 to learn the business model and build it
00:07:58 00:08:03 up over time because I mean if it was
00:08:01 00:08:04 easy everybody would be doing it just
00:08:03 00:08:06 like how you can go and fill out an
00:08:04 00:08:08 application and get a job for eight to
00:08:06 00:08:10 ten dollars an hour anyplace you want to
00:08:08 00:08:11 you don't have to have any experience
00:08:10 00:08:13 you're not that any experience when
00:08:11 00:08:15 selling on Amazon cos guess what no one
00:08:13 00:08:17 had experience before they started their
00:08:15 00:08:19 Amazon business they learn they did
00:08:17 00:08:21 research they found out the business
00:08:19 00:08:23 model that wanted to pursue what exactly
00:08:21 00:08:25 goes into that business model and how
00:08:23 00:08:27 they can be successful and a huge reason
00:08:25 00:08:29 that people fail is they're just too
00:08:27 00:08:31 lazy they don't have patience they don't
00:08:29 00:08:33 want to invest time and time into the
00:08:31 00:08:34 month they say they don't have enough
00:08:33 00:08:36 time they have school they have a
00:08:34 00:08:38 full-time job well guess what this is a
00:08:36 00:08:40 part-time business as well you don't
00:08:38 00:08:41 have to work on $8 eight hours a day you
00:08:40 00:08:43 don't have to work a certain shape if
00:08:41 00:08:44 you don't have to work from five to
00:08:43 00:08:47 eleven on the business you can work at
00:08:44 00:08:49 your own pace during your own hours now
00:08:47 00:08:51 since making this YouTube channel and
00:08:49 00:08:53 having my Instagram and everything I'm
00:08:51 00:08:56 consistently getting DMS
00:08:53 00:08:58 and emails and just questions from
00:08:56 00:09:00 people all the time just making excuses
00:08:58 00:09:04 why they can't start the Amazon business
00:09:00 00:09:06 or just make money online because if of
00:09:04 00:09:08 the two main reasons one being they
00:09:06 00:09:10 don't have enough money to start well
00:09:08 00:09:12 guess what a great way to solve that is
00:09:10 00:09:15 to get a job or find a way or find a
00:09:12 00:09:16 hustle I would way rather find a hustle
00:09:15 00:09:19 instead of get a job you can go find a
00:09:16 00:09:21 job Ning go work horrible BS shifts for
00:09:19 00:09:22 like six hours from 5:00 to 11:00 on a
00:09:21 00:09:24 Friday night because maybe you have
00:09:22 00:09:26 school in the day or maybe have a
00:09:24 00:09:29 full-time job well guess what Amazon can
00:09:26 00:09:30 be a part-time gig it can be a part-time
00:09:29 00:09:33 thing you don't have to work five hours
00:09:30 00:09:35 a day on the business right off the bat
00:09:33 00:09:37 you can work at your own hours at your
00:09:35 00:09:39 own pace and people another big reason
00:09:37 00:09:41 people say that they can't run a
00:09:39 00:09:43 business is they don't have enough time
00:09:41 00:09:45 which is complete BS because the people
00:09:43 00:09:46 that I hang around that the people that
00:09:45 00:09:48 I watched people go to my school they
00:09:46 00:09:50 play video games for hours and hours on
00:09:48 00:09:51 end people watch a lot of TV a lot of
00:09:50 00:09:53 movies now there's nothing wrong with
00:09:51 00:09:56 that it's a great way to relax and just
00:09:53 00:09:58 kind of escape but if you want to make
00:09:56 00:10:00 extra income online you can have to
00:09:58 00:10:02 sacrifice um that time that you're
00:10:00 00:10:04 wasting some of that time that you're
00:10:02 00:10:07 watching TV or maybe you're sleeping in
00:10:04 00:10:10 or maybe you're just playing too much
00:10:07 00:10:12 video games I mean just cut back on some
00:10:10 00:10:15 of that time if you're spending three
00:10:12 00:10:18 hours a day on your phone watching TV
00:10:15 00:10:20 and playing video games combined cut out
00:10:18 00:10:22 30 minutes of that time cut out an hour
00:10:20 00:10:23 of that time and work on building your
00:10:22 00:10:25 business you don't need to spend five
00:10:23 00:10:27 hours every day at the beginning
00:10:25 00:10:29 building your business just spend thirty
00:10:27 00:10:31 minutes just keep researching and keep
00:10:29 00:10:32 learning the business because if you
00:10:31 00:10:34 don't sacrifice that time and you just
00:10:32 00:10:36 consistently just waste your time on
00:10:34 00:10:38 your phone watching TV watching movies
00:10:36 00:10:40 eventually you're gonna have to make
00:10:38 00:10:42 money and you're gonna go end up working
00:10:40 00:10:44 some BS job for eight to ten dollars an
00:10:42 00:10:46 hour I mean that's it's totally up to
00:10:44 00:10:48 you I would way rather just you know
00:10:46 00:10:49 what I'm gonna hang out on my phone
00:10:48 00:10:51 thirty minutes less than I usually do
00:10:49 00:10:53 and I'm gonna go on my computer and I'm
00:10:51 00:10:54 gonna do a little bit of research of how
00:10:53 00:10:56 exactly I can make money online do I
00:10:54 00:10:58 want to sell an Amazon do I want to sell
00:10:56 00:10:59 on eBay it's something that you're gonna
00:10:58 00:11:01 have to sacrifice it's something that
00:10:59 00:11:03 people don't want to sacrifice because
00:11:01 00:11:04 they're just they're just too lazy they
00:11:03 00:11:05 don't want to take thirty minutes extra
00:11:04 00:11:07 out of the day they're just something
00:11:05 00:11:09 that's maybe not as fun maybe
00:11:07 00:11:10 they don't have as much interest in but
00:11:09 00:11:11 it's gonna come back to bite them
00:11:10 00:11:13 because they're gonna have to go work
00:11:11 00:11:14 that horrible job that they can only
00:11:13 00:11:16 work on the weekends so they're gonna
00:11:14 00:11:18 work from five to eleven they can't hang
00:11:16 00:11:20 out with their friends they can't go to
00:11:18 00:11:22 the football game I mean it's really all
00:11:20 00:11:25 up to you I mean I run my business in
00:11:22 00:11:26 the evening so I can still hang out with
00:11:25 00:11:29 my friends and maybe if I have an event
00:11:26 00:11:30 like a football game or if I have I'm
00:11:29 00:11:32 hanging out some friends in the evening
00:11:30 00:11:34 I can just get my work done early
00:11:32 00:11:35 because I can work during my own time
00:11:34 00:11:37 during the own day during my own hours
00:11:35 00:11:39 and maybe if I don't have four or five
00:11:37 00:11:41 hours to work on my business I only have
00:11:39 00:11:43 thirty minutes that's completely okay
00:11:41 00:11:45 the next day I'll just have to make up
00:11:43 00:11:46 for it but it's really up to you and how
00:11:45 00:11:48 hard you want to work in your business
00:11:46 00:11:49 because if you're lazy and you're not
00:11:48 00:11:52 patients I don't even care if you want
00:11:49 00:11:54 to make money on Amazon or Ebay online
00:11:52 00:11:57 sales just making money online is not
00:11:54 00:11:58 gonna be for you so if you do want to
00:11:57 00:12:00 make additional income online even if
00:11:58 00:12:02 it's an extra thousand dollars a month
00:12:00 00:12:04 two thousand dollars a month you can do
00:12:02 00:12:06 it it's gonna take some time but invest
00:12:04 00:12:07 in the business and best time and money
00:12:06 00:12:09 in overtime you're gonna be able to
00:12:07 00:12:11 build something that's worth a lot more
00:12:09 00:12:13 than if you were to just work for a
00:12:11 00:12:15 slave job eight to ten dollars an hour
00:12:13 00:12:17 so definitely check that out guys now
00:12:15 00:12:19 another question that I always receive
00:12:17 00:12:23 from these lazy people is I don't know
00:12:19 00:12:24 how to sell on Amazon well no one knew
00:12:23 00:12:26 how to sell an Amazon when they first
00:12:24 00:12:28 started how do you think they knew they
00:12:26 00:12:30 either they did their research they
00:12:28 00:12:32 figured out what the different business
00:12:30 00:12:35 models were what the different ways they
00:12:32 00:12:37 can make money on Amazon work and if
00:12:35 00:12:39 they wanted a better instruction a
00:12:37 00:12:42 better series of videos take a course
00:12:39 00:12:44 invest in the course instead of going
00:12:42 00:12:46 and buying a new pair of shoes go invest
00:12:44 00:12:48 in an Amazon course because I guarantee
00:12:46 00:12:49 that's getting that return on that
00:12:48 00:12:52 investment is gonna be a lot greater
00:12:49 00:12:53 than anything else if you don't know how
00:12:52 00:12:55 to sell an Amazon if you want a private
00:12:53 00:12:57 label you want to know how to sell books
00:12:55 00:12:59 take a course even if it's two hundred
00:12:57 00:13:01 three hundred dollars just ask your
00:12:59 00:13:02 parents for the money I'm pretty sure
00:13:01 00:13:04 they would love they give you money so
00:13:02 00:13:06 that you can learn how to make money
00:13:04 00:13:08 online and then return that three
00:13:06 00:13:10 hundred dollars obviously it's for some
00:13:08 00:13:12 people it's a big investment up front
00:13:10 00:13:14 but if that can make you an extra
00:13:12 00:13:15 thousand dollars image just an extra
00:13:14 00:13:17 thousand dollars a month after the first
00:13:15 00:13:19 month you're going to be seven hundred
00:13:17 00:13:20 dollars in profit and then after that
00:13:19 00:13:20 it's gonna be a thousand a thousand and
00:13:20 00:13:22 that's if you
00:13:20 00:13:24 stay the same that's if you don't grow
00:13:22 00:13:27 your business and you don't scale you
00:13:24 00:13:29 can 2x your business that $1,000 is not
00:13:27 00:13:31 gonna be $2,000 then in a few months
00:13:29 00:13:33 maybe even get that $2,000 a month to
00:13:31 00:13:35 $5,000 money it's all about scaling your
00:13:33 00:13:37 business you can't scale your pay at a
00:13:35 00:13:40 job obviously you can get like a raise
00:13:37 00:13:42 who maybe like $10 to $12 an hour and
00:13:40 00:13:44 your manager now and now you have to do
00:13:42 00:13:46 even more work it's just not really
00:13:44 00:13:48 worth it so if you can just invest in
