00:05:29 00:05:34 concise that doesn't convey your primary

00:05:57 00:06:01 the idea is it's like buying seed for
00:05:59 00:06:04 your business right so
00:06:01 00:06:05 first we build a nice mousetrap then we
00:06:04 00:06:07 bring more mice there but it's like
00:06:05 00:06:09 buying seed once you've set up your farm
00:06:07 00:06:12 in your field and really what we're
00:06:09 00:06:14 trying to do is to help people um find
00:06:12 00:06:16 you and to take market share
00:06:14 00:06:17 when we move on from that the thing that
00:06:16 00:06:19 i think is most helpful is to understand
00:06:17 00:06:21 that what we're trying to do is to get
00:06:19 00:06:23 people to move in a direction from being
00:06:21 00:06:27 a stranger to becoming a customer right
00:06:23 00:06:29 and people go through a stage a natural
00:06:27 00:06:31 um stage when it comes to relationships
00:06:29 00:06:33 and sales sales and relationships are
00:06:31 00:06:35 very much alike in this and the three
00:06:33 00:06:37 stages that we want to go through is
00:06:35 00:06:38 people are going to be curious about how
00:06:37 00:06:40 you make their life better we're going
00:06:38 00:06:42 to pique their curiosity about how you
00:06:40 00:06:43 can solve their problem the second thing
00:06:42 00:06:45 is is they're going to want to do some
00:06:43 00:06:46 due diligence and we're going to they're
00:06:45 00:06:48 going to go through an enlightenment
00:06:46 00:06:50 stage where they try to put some meat on
00:06:48 00:06:52 the bone about how is it that i can
00:06:50 00:06:54 trust that you would really solve my
00:06:52 00:06:57 problem after that what we're gonna do
00:06:54 00:06:58 is we're gonna ask them to take a step
00:06:57 00:06:59 and they're gonna make some sort of
00:06:58 00:07:02 commitment right and that commitment
00:06:59 00:07:04 could be either um contacting you and
00:07:02 00:07:06 booking a consultation making a purchase
00:07:04 00:07:07 on your website or there's a lot of
00:07:06 00:07:09 different ways that can look like but
00:07:07 00:07:11 people go through this stage where they
00:07:09 00:07:13 don't know who you are they have a
00:07:11 00:07:14 problem we peak their curiosity about
00:07:13 00:07:16 how you make better we enlighten them as
00:07:14 00:07:18 to why you're worthy of trust of why
00:07:16 00:07:21 they should take a step with you we want
00:07:18 00:07:23 to make the case that uh you understand
00:07:21 00:07:26 where they're at and that you have a
00:07:23 00:07:27 consistent authoritative reputation that
00:07:26 00:07:30 you know how to solve that problem and
00:07:27 00:07:31 then ask them to make a commitment and
00:07:30 00:07:34 what you'll see is that
00:07:31 00:07:36 that's a lot like dating right a healthy
00:07:34 00:07:38 marriage or a healthy relationship a
00:07:36 00:07:40 dating relationship would come from you
00:07:38 00:07:41 know you have a first meeting you know
00:07:40 00:07:44 eventually you would exchange digits and
00:07:41 00:07:46 maybe have coffee and then you'd have a
00:07:44 00:07:47 first date second date third date fourth
00:07:46 00:07:49 date then you would eventually weigh
00:07:47 00:07:51 down you know whatever progress that
00:07:49 00:07:52 looks like you would have a proposal and
00:07:51 00:07:55 then last there would be a marriage and
00:07:52 00:07:57 digital marketing and good sales are no
00:07:55 00:07:59 different what we find is that we want
00:07:57 00:08:02 to take strangers make them visitors on
00:07:59 00:08:04 your content create a lead out of them
00:08:02 00:08:06 have them take some sort of step and
00:08:04 00:08:07 eventually become a customer and there
00:08:06 00:08:10 are different things that we'll do to
00:08:07 00:08:11 actually do that we have ads and content
00:08:10 00:08:13 on your website so advertising whether
00:08:11 00:08:14 that's google ads facebook ads whatever
00:08:13 00:08:15 that looks like
00:08:14 00:08:18 we have
00:08:15 00:08:20 a marketing funnel and a sales funnel
00:08:18 00:08:22 and the idea is this is to get people in
00:08:20 00:08:24 and then we want to nurture them with
00:08:22 00:08:25 all sorts of different things that makes
00:08:24 00:08:27 the case that piques their curiosity
00:08:25 00:08:29 about how you make their life better to
00:08:27 00:08:31 get them to take a step eventually
00:08:29 00:08:33 you have to work that lead once you get
00:08:31 00:08:34 the lead right there's a sales nurturing
00:08:33 00:08:36 process and then there's
00:08:34 00:08:37 okay let's let's become a customer and
00:08:36 00:08:40 have an onboarding process so i just
00:08:37 00:08:41 want to remind you that as we get going
00:08:40 00:08:43 really what we're trying to do is we're
00:08:41 00:08:44 trying to move people from stranger to
00:08:43 00:08:47 customer right
00:08:44 00:08:49 from there um again we do two primary

00:10:23 00:10:27 reviews and testimonials and examples of

00:10:29 00:10:32 examples of your customers making the
00:10:31 00:10:34 case that you actually solve their
00:10:32 00:10:35 problem and we want to show what it
00:10:34 00:10:36 looks like you know if you're a
00:10:35 00:10:38 construction company we want to show
00:10:36 00:10:40 examples of the work that you do we want
00:10:38 00:10:41 to have customer reviews google reviews
00:10:40 00:10:43 facebook reviews but then also
00:10:41 00:10:44 testimonials there's a big difference
00:10:43 00:10:46 between just testimonials and reviews
00:10:44 00:10:48 and we want to showcase
00:10:46 00:10:50 other people making the case that you're
00:10:48 00:10:52 great and then from there we have this
00:10:50 00:10:54 is kind of the icing on the cake
00:10:52 00:10:56 we want
00:10:54 00:10:58 things on your website and online that
00:10:56 00:11:00 cause people to take a deeper
00:10:58 00:11:02 look at you it's their i could just call
00:11:00 00:11:04 them deepening steps right you have
00:11:02 00:11:06 video sales letters you have lead
00:11:04 00:11:08 magnets you have authority building
00:11:06 00:11:11 content and what a video sales letter
00:11:08 00:11:12 would be is the idea is as

00:11:12 00:11:17 going through this process of stranger

00:11:24 00:11:30 steps require some some additional uh
00:11:29 00:11:34 nourishment of the relationship and
00:11:30 00:11:36 there's no reason why it we wait until
00:11:34 00:11:38 the actual proposal where they book a
00:11:36 00:11:40 consultation with you for you to have a
00:11:38 00:11:42 sales style conversation with them so a

00:12:31 00:12:35 commitments that are different than just

00:15:13 00:15:17 in the process the last thing that i or
00:15:15 00:15:19 not the last thing the next thing is
00:15:17 00:15:21 that personal outreach
00:15:19 00:15:23 with remarketing and nurturing is really
00:15:21 00:15:26 helpful the idea is that digital
00:15:23 00:15:29 marketing augments good salesmanship
00:15:26 00:15:32 good salesmanship comes from calling
00:15:29 00:15:34 from emailing from messaging and from
00:15:32 00:15:36 people uh actually getting intersected
00:15:34 00:15:38 with by somebody who's eager to solve
00:15:36 00:15:40 their problems sales calls are never
00:15:38 00:15:42 gonna die you have to stik to those and
00:15:40 00:15:45 then the idea is if you if you were to
00:15:42 00:15:47 call someone say hey jim uh how you
00:15:45 00:15:49 doing my name is rob and i'm a a web
00:15:47 00:15:51 designer and we do digital marketing but
00:15:49 00:15:53 i'm right down the road from me here i
00:15:51 00:15:54 was wondering could i send you an email
00:15:53 00:15:57 just to introduce ourselves i'd love to
00:15:54 00:15:58 earn your business someday
00:15:57 00:15:59 uh
00:15:58 00:16:02 yeah sure that works you get their email
00:15:59 00:16:03 you send them uh an email to them and in
00:16:02 00:16:05 there would be a little link to your
00:16:03 00:16:07 website and as they click on the link to
00:16:05 00:16:09 your website now they'll enter your
00:16:07 00:16:12 remarketing they'll see facebook ads
00:16:09 00:16:14 youtube ads they'll see all sorts of
00:16:12 00:16:15 messaging from you and you have their
00:16:14 00:16:18 email and you don't want to just slime
00:16:15 00:16:20 them but you want to nurture them right
00:16:18 00:16:24 and that's good sales you need to do
00:16:20 00:16:25 that stuff the next phase of marketing
00:16:24 00:16:28 that works again what i'm showing you is
00:16:25 00:16:30 from the core outward what i find will
00:16:28 00:16:32 generate sales for you
00:16:30 00:16:33 content marketing and content marketing
00:16:32 00:16:35 is you create
00:16:33 00:16:38 written content on your website that
00:16:35 00:16:39 addresses a question or a query that
00:16:38 00:16:41 somebody's going to ask and you teach on
00:16:39 00:16:43 it and eventually they're going to find
00:16:41 00:16:45 it youtube
00:16:43 00:16:47 and written content on your website is
00:16:45 00:16:48 what works there and then the last thing
00:16:47 00:16:51 would be social media engagement and
00:16:48 00:16:53 posting right that's high energy you
00:16:51 00:16:55 have to keep up with it we can help you
