3rd Party Dropshipping Supplier
Published on: June 5 2023 by pipiads
In this video, Mark Augustine talks about three suppliers to use for Amazon dropshipping in 2022. If you want to make ten, twenty thousand dollars a month, you will need to do a little extra work to avoid getting suspended. He recommends the following three suppliers:
1. Ace Hardware
2. Zorro
3. Vitacost
Why these three suppliers? Zorro is dropshipping friendly, and you can work out agreements with customer service. Vitacost is similar to Zorro and has not been abused by thousands of dropshippers. Ace Hardware is a full-on retailer, but you can get discounts on certain websites and has not been abused by dropshippers. Mark advises against using Walmart unless you are re-dropshipping.
In conclusion, if you are dropshipping on Amazon, do not be lazy and jump to the first retailer. Instead, focus on more obscure suppliers like Ace Hardware, Zorro, and Vitacost. While getting suspended is inevitable, using these suppliers may help prevent a suspension. If you do get suspended, Mark recommends a law firm that can help unsuspend your account.

Why I Quit Dropshipping to Start a 3PL Company (Third-Party Logistics)
Hey guys, welcome back to the channel! This is Jason from Channel Prep 3PL and you might have noticed that my channel has changed. I used to be the Bearded Dropshipper, and now I've rebranded this channel as Channel Prep 3PL. The reason being is because that's my new business. I have transitioned away from being a full-time drop shipper and a full-time e-commerce seller to an operator and manager of 3PL.
What is a 3PL?
We're a full-service 3PL which means that we offer services ranging from order fulfillment, merchant fulfillment specifically for Amazon, warehousing and storage, and Amazon FBA prep. We can also do Walmart prep. What it is really at the core fundamentals is taking products from a supplier and we're kind of an intermediary for those products and getting them sent into Amazon or getting them to the end customer. We're handling all of the picking, packing, shipping, inspecting, quality inspections. We do that for every single customer of ours.
Why do people use a 3PL?
The purpose of a 3PL is to free up time. We're selling ourselves as a time saver for the clients. A lot of Amazon clients, a lot of e-commerce sellers get to a certain point where they've grown far past the point of doing their own prep work or their own order fulfillment. And it's not just Amazon, a lot of e-commerce sellers get to that point. It depends on how much you value your time. If you're ever going to grow your business past the point at which it is, a lot of people plateau. If you want to get past that point, you need to free up your time, whether that's outsourcing, hiring, or contracting out work.
Reasons for transitioning away from being an e-commerce seller:
I got bored psychologically, and there's only so many widgets that you can sell. And as a person who wants to keep bettering myself personally as an entrepreneur, I just wanted to get a different perspective on e-commerce and delivering value to customers. But also, I'm looking at things through a longer time horizon and building out something more long term than what it was in the past. It's no longer for me about making that quick cash. It's no longer about getting my product to market first or getting as much in the short term. It's more about how much can I get in the long term, how can I build this business so that it compounds on all of the hard work that I put in.
Future videos:
This channel is going to be a new priority of mine. We're going to be talking about a wide variety of topics. Most of them are going to be focused on very specific things such as how to set up an FBA print station, how to do an LTL shipment versus an SPD shipment, or some new emerging marketplaces like Walmart. I also still want to talk about how to add value onto your Amazon listings, how to rank well for a given product, how to optimize those listings with better pictures, better descriptions, better SEO.
If this sounds good to you guys, make sure to smash that like button, give me a comment down below. I appreciate all your support through the years, and I look forward to doing the next video. Thank you.
3PL - Third Party Logistics Explained
No matter which online marketplace you use, you will need some sort of logistical service to get your goods from your supplier to your buyers. In this article, we will explain everything you need to know about 3PL, as well as one, two, four, and five PL. We will answer six of the most common and important questions about third-party logistics.
1. Why do I need a 3PL?
Amazon has instituted a new FBA inventory limit, and many sellers are unable to send all of their products to Amazon's fulfillment centers. Enlisting the help of a 3PL can solve this problem, as they provide warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment services.
2. What does a 3PL do and what are the advantages of using a 3PL?
3PLs receive parcels, pallets, or cartons, store units in a safe environment, prep and ship boxes or pallets to Amazon fulfillment centers, accept removal orders and returns for inspection, and provide FBM services. Using a 3PL can save you money, save you time, give you expertise in shipping logistics, make your operations flexible and scalable, and allow you to test your products and sell in brand new markets.
3. What is the difference between a 3PL and a 4PL and a 5PL?
A 3PL receives and stores a product from a seller and then fulfills the order on behalf of the seller. A 4PL manages 3PLs and takes over the supply chain operations directly after production. A 5PL manages the supply chain from raw materials to production to storage to delivery to the customer.
4. Does your company need a 3PL, a 4PL, or a 5PL?
For most ecommerce sellers, a standard 3PL service is all that is needed. The decision should be based on which service will make you the most profitable and serve your customers the best.
5. What are the cons of using a 3PL provider?
You have less direct control over the delivery process, and 3PLs may come with a large upfront investment or a monthly minimum spend. Additionally, 3PLs will not directly interact with your customers or handle customer service.
When looking for a 3PL facility, consider their location, storage capabilities, shipping options, customer service, and pricing.
