50 Shopify Sales Tips

Published on: June 4 2023 by pipiads

Recently, I came across a successful Shopify dropshipping store that is making around $50,000 to $60,000 every month. In this article, I will break down what they are doing right, what they are doing wrong, and how you can replicate their success.

Bullet Points:

- The store I found is called Fishing Gear Store and they sell various fishing accessories and equipment.

- I estimated their monthly revenue based on their website traffic and average prices.

- I used AdSpy to spy on their Facebook ads and found that they have had a lot of engagement on their posts.

- Fishing-related products have a seasonal trend with more searches during the summer months in the United States.

- The store is dropshipping their products and using CJ Dropshipping to source their fishing equipment.

- They are branding their store around a niche and have a wide variety of products available.

- By branding their store around a niche, they are increasing their average order value and are able to upsell their customers.

- They have a slow website loading speed, which could be costing them potential customers.

- Focusing on a niche or particular product is better for upselling and increasing average order value.

If you are looking to start a successful Shopify dropshipping store, take notes from Fishing Gear Store's branding strategy and use CJ Dropshipping to source products. Additionally, focus on a niche or particular product to increase your average order value and ability to upsell. Remember to optimize your website for speed to keep potential customers engaged.

I Tried Shopify Dropshipping With A $50 TikTok Ad Budget

Title: Building a Low-Budget Shopify Dropshipping Store

Last night, while listening to ASMR soundtracks, I realized that some of my viewers want to start a dropshipping business but don't have a high starting budget. That's why I decided to make a low-budget Shopify dropshipping challenge where I will build a Shopify store and show you step-by-step what I would do if my starting budget was only $50.

Finding Your Product:

No matter what your starting budget is, the first thing you need to do when building a dropshipping store is to find your product. One way to do this is to go to TikTok and search for the hashtag TikTok made me buy it. People post videos of cool gadgets or products they recently bought, and this is a great way to find products that have a good wow factor. Look for products that have at least a 20% profit margin, but most importantly, think about what kind of videos you can make with the product to market it. Marketing is the most important thing when running a business, and if you can't make interesting videos to market your products, no one will want to watch them or buy them.

Building Your Store:

Once you have found your product, it's time to build your store. I prefer a simple black and white theme, but you can choose whichever theme fits your product best. Charge a reasonable price for your product, and make sure to have a catchy sentence at the top of your description, followed by a short paragraph explaining the product, a product photo or GIF, and at least three or four benefits and features. Use a reviews app to add reviews to your store, and make sure to format them properly.

Creating Your Ads:

When it comes to creating ads, always use original content. Do not steal other people's content, but feel free to take inspiration from other people's concepts. Your goal should always be to make your ad seem like it's not an ad. Use humor and make it seem like a normal TikTok that would go viral. This will catch people's attention and make them more likely to watch your ad and click on it.

Results:

After spending $50 on ads, we only had one conversion and one sale for $29. We had 48 people click on our ads and visit our store, and our click-through rate was lower than it should be. While we did make some money back, we ended up losing $30 on this challenge. Keep in mind that starting a dropshipping business with only $50 is not realistic, but this challenge shows you what you can do with a low budget.

Building a low-budget Shopify dropshipping store is not impossible, but it's important to have realistic expectations. Finding the right product, building your store properly, and creating effective ads are all crucial to the success of your business. Marketing is the most important thing, so make sure to think about what kind of videos you can make to market your products. With hard work and dedication, anyone can start a successful dropshipping business.
