Hey guys, in this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to stop Google Chrome from opening a new window every time you click on a link.

To start, you need to check if your sticky keys are turned off. Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to bring up the run window. Type control panel and click OK. Make sure you have the large icons selected in the Ease of Access Center.

Next, find the option that says Make the keyboard easier to use and click on it. You'll see the option to turn on sticky keys. Make sure it is turned off. Click apply and then OK. Close all the windows and check if the problem is fixed.

In addition, open Google Chrome and go to the search results page. Click on settings and then search settings. Scroll down and uncheck the option that says Open each selected result in a new browser window. Click save and close your browser. Relaunch it and see if the problem is fixed.

If these two methods don't solve your issue, there is a third method you can try. Open Google Chrome and click on the three dots at the top right corner of your browser. Go to settings and scroll down to advanced. At the bottom, you'll find the option to reset and cleanup. Click on it and then click on Restore settings to their original defaults.

A window will appear informing you that this action will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pin tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your bookmarks, history, and saved passwords will not be cleared. Click on the Reset settings button and close and relaunch your Google Chrome.

Hopefully, these methods will solve your problem. Let me know in the comments if they were able to help you. If you enjoy my videos, please support this channel by subscribing. Thanks and bye bye! Music.

How To Disable Pop Up Ads in Chrome + Disable Bottom Right/Left Side Ads

Hey guys, in this video, I'm going to show you how to disable pop-up ads on your Chrome browser. Let's get started and let me show you the problem. Before disabling the pop-ups, I'm just on this website called pop-up test where I'm going to test the pop-ups. So I'm going to click on multi-popup test.

- When I click on the pop-up test, it gives me so many pop-up windows. That's the problem you might also be facing if you don't disable those pop-ups. Let me close all the pop-ups now.

To deal with this problem and solve it, you need to follow these steps:

1. Click on the three dots on your Chrome browser.

2. Click on the Settings option.

3. Go to Advanced Settings.

4. Go to Privacy and Security Settings.

5. If you don't see Privacy and Security Settings in this window, you can always click on the option on the left-hand side or directly search for it.

6. Click on the Site Settings option.

7. Go to Notifications.

8. By default, you will see many websites listed under Allow. You might want to remove all the websites listed here because if you allow websites to give you notifications, it will show you all the notifications.

9. You can choose to allow notifications from Google websites but remove any other websites.

10. Ideally, you want to see no sites added under Allow. If you don't want to see any notifications at all, unselect the button.

11. Once this is disabled, all notifications will be disabled, and they will not pop up on your Chrome browser.

12. Another setting you can adjust is Pop-ups and Redirects. Click on this option as well.

13. Under Pop-ups and Redirects, you might want to disable it by selecting Blocked.

14. If you see any website under Allow that you don't recognize, remove it.

15. After making these settings, when you go to the website again and click on the pop-up test, you will see that the pop-ups no longer appear.

16. You will also see a notification that pop-ups were blocked on this page.

17. After following all the settings I showed you, your pop-ups will be blocked for the chosen website or for all websites if you selected Blocked and don't see any websites under Allow.

18. This is how you can disable pop-up ads on your Chrome browser.

I hope you enjoyed this video, and I'll see you in the next one.

How to remove popups / viruses on your browser (Chrome or Safari)......Very Easy

Hi guys! Lily here, and I have another video for you on how to remove viruses, pop-ups, and other unwanted things from your Mac. Many people have been experiencing a lot of pop-ups on their Mac, so this guide will show you how to remove them. I will only cover Safari and Google Chrome in this video, so pay close attention. Let's get started!

First, you need to download two applications: CCleaner and Malwarebytes. Let's start with CCleaner. Go to Google and search for CCleaner for Mac. Once you find the download page, click on the download button. If you already have it downloaded, you can skip this step. Double click on the file to open it.

Once CCleaner is open, you can go through the settings and uncheck any options you don't want. For example, if you want recent places to stay, you can leave that checked. Otherwise, uncheck everything. Then, click on Run Cleaner and wait for it to finish. You can close out of Safari if you want, but I'll keep it open for now.

Next, let's download Malwarebytes. Search for Malwarebytes for Mac and click on the download button. Once it's downloaded, open the file and follow the installation instructions. It will try to look for updates first. After that, click on Scan to start scanning your Mac for any malware.

While Malwarebytes is scanning, you can close out of your browser. Once the scan is complete, if it found any malware, uncheck the items and then click on Delete. After that, restart your computer.

Now, let's go back to your browser. For Safari, go to Preferences and click on Clear History. This will remove all the browsing history. You don't have to do this, but I recommend it to clear out everything. For Chrome, click on the three lines at the top right corner, go to Settings, and then click on Extensions. Remove any extensions that are not the four items shown.

Lastly, to prevent future pop-ups, you can add an ad blocker extension. Type in ad blocker in the search bar and add the extension that suits your needs.

That's it! You have successfully removed viruses, pop-ups, and unwanted things from your Mac. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Safe travels!
