00:00:28 00:00:33 do so much of the heavy lifting for you
00:00:31 00:00:36 but when it comes to selling on amazon
00:00:33 00:00:38 there isn't only one way to go about
00:00:36 00:00:41 doing it there are many different models
00:00:38 00:00:43 that you could follow to make money on
00:00:41 00:00:45 amazon and i tok about these models on

00:02:22 00:02:27 the model that's going to make you the
00:02:24 00:02:29 um the best returns
00:02:27 00:02:31 but it's going to be lower risk and i
00:02:29 00:02:32 would venture to say that if you're just
00:02:31 00:02:34 getting started your complete beginner
00:02:32 00:02:37 you've never built an online business
00:02:34 00:02:40 before what's more valuable to you is
00:02:37 00:02:43 having lower risk because often times
00:02:40 00:02:45 you know high-risk high reward and so
00:02:43 00:02:46 when you're first getting started lower
00:02:45 00:02:48 risk just so that you can actually get
00:02:46 00:02:50 started because if you know it's high
00:02:48 00:02:52 risk you probably won't get started and
00:02:50 00:02:54 you have to be realistik that when
00:02:52 00:02:56 you've never done anything online before
00:02:54 00:02:58 there's going to be a learning curve and
00:02:56 00:02:59 so you're going to have a lot to learn
00:02:58 00:03:01 you're probably going to make mistakes
00:02:59 00:03:02 and so you don't want to put a lot of
00:03:01 00:03:04 money on the line
00:03:02 00:03:05 and risk a lot
00:03:04 00:03:08 you also don't have to worry about
00:03:05 00:03:09 marketing campaigns this is a big one
00:03:08 00:03:12 because when it comes to
00:03:09 00:03:14 other models one thing people struggle
00:03:12 00:03:16 with a lot is marketing marketing your
00:03:14 00:03:19 product means how are you gonna get
00:03:16 00:03:21 people to view your amazon listing and
00:03:19 00:03:23 with this model you don't have to worry
00:03:21 00:03:25 about paid marketing social media
00:03:23 00:03:26 marketing none of that
00:03:25 00:03:29 and finally you don't have to worry
00:03:26 00:03:31 about unpredictable sales because again
00:03:29 00:03:33 you're not launching a product on amazon
00:03:31 00:03:34 for the very first time
00:03:33 00:03:36 a product that's never been sold on

00:03:41 00:03:46 have historical sales data and that
00:03:44 00:03:49 historical sales data will allow you to
00:03:46 00:03:51 forecast future sales and so there's a
00:03:49 00:03:54 lot less unpredictability when it comes
00:03:51 00:03:56 to sales and if you do it right you find
00:03:54 00:03:59 products that the day that you list them
00:03:56 00:04:01 on amazon you start making sales
00:03:59 00:04:05 all right so let me give you the gist of
00:04:01 00:04:07 this model before we get further into it
00:04:05 00:04:09 all right so first you have to find
00:04:07 00:04:11 established products that are selling on
00:04:09 00:04:12 amazon and then you have to reach out to
00:04:11 00:04:14 these brands
00:04:12 00:04:16 and in reaching out to these brands you
00:04:14 00:04:19 have to communicate the value that you
00:04:16 00:04:22 can add to them and request to become an
00:04:19 00:04:24 authorized reseller of their products
00:04:22 00:04:26 then you build a relationship with them
00:04:24 00:04:28 then you purchase their inventory at the
00:04:26 00:04:31 wholesale price which you will later
00:04:28 00:04:32 sell at retail price and then you just
00:04:31 00:04:34 have to make sure that once you're
00:04:32 00:04:37 selling on amazon that you don't run out
00:04:34 00:04:40 of stok and that you reorder before you
00:04:37 00:04:42 run out of stok and that is it that is
00:04:40 00:04:44 the gist of this model it's so simple
00:04:42 00:04:46 which is another reason why i think it's
00:04:44 00:04:48 great for beginners and because it's so
00:04:46 00:04:51 simple you can actually outsource this
00:04:48 00:04:53 model so you can actually hire virtual
00:04:51 00:04:55 assistants to basically build this
00:04:53 00:04:57 business for you once you've done it
00:04:55 00:04:59 yourself a few times you understand how
00:04:57 00:05:01 to do it yourself you can basically hire
00:04:59 00:05:04 other people to build your business for
00:05:01 00:05:07 you and you can spend your time doing
00:05:04 00:05:09 other things and it's really cool so
00:05:07 00:05:12 super simple model and the key to
00:05:09 00:05:14 success with this model is in
00:05:12 00:05:16 the number of brands you reach out to
00:05:14 00:05:18 okay quantity is important because you
00:05:16 00:05:20 have to factor in that
00:05:18 00:05:22 well not every brand is going to say yes
00:05:20 00:05:23 right some brands are going to say no
00:05:22 00:05:26 and so if i only reach out to three
00:05:23 00:05:28 brands well what's my likelihood of
00:05:26 00:05:32 success compared to if i reach out to 10
00:05:28 00:05:34 brands 20 brands 30 50 40 brands right
00:05:32 00:05:38 so your likelihood of success increases
00:05:34 00:05:41 as you reach out to more brands and then
00:05:38 00:05:42 second is your ability to communicate
00:05:41 00:05:45 your value
00:05:42 00:05:48 so if you can communicate how you can
00:05:45 00:05:49 add value to the brand then that's going
00:05:48 00:05:50 to
00:05:49 00:05:53 increase your likelihood of success that
00:05:50 00:05:56 that brand is gonna want you to become
00:05:53 00:05:58 an authorized reseller of their products
00:05:56 00:06:00 okay but now you're probably asking well
00:05:58 00:06:02 how am i gonna add value to these brands
00:06:00 00:06:04 well it's important to understand what
00:06:02 00:06:06 kind of brands you'd be reaching out to
00:06:04 00:06:08 versus the ones that you wouldn't be
00:06:06 00:06:09 reaching out to because they are very
00:06:08 00:06:11 different
00:06:09 00:06:13 so for example you're not going to be
00:06:11 00:06:15 reaching out to
00:06:13 00:06:18 private label sellers so people like
00:06:15 00:06:20 myself i started an amazon fba private
00:06:18 00:06:23 label brand on amazon
00:06:20 00:06:26 and i was a solopreneur building my
00:06:23 00:06:28 amazon brand i wouldn't want someone to
00:06:26 00:06:30 sell my products on amazon because i'm
00:06:28 00:06:32 selling my products so what you're
00:06:30 00:06:35 looking for are people who are not
00:06:32 00:06:37 selling their products on amazon other
00:06:35 00:06:39 people are selling their products you're
00:06:37 00:06:41 not going to be reaching out to brand
00:06:39 00:06:44 owners like this gal who has a beautiful
00:06:41 00:06:46 amazon listing complete with informative
00:06:44 00:06:49 images and text
00:06:46 00:06:51 and has enhanced brand content
00:06:49 00:06:52 she doesn't need any help she doesn't
00:06:51 00:06:54 need
00:06:52 00:06:57 you to come in and help her because
00:06:54 00:07:00 she's already done such a fantastik job
00:06:57 00:07:02 with her listing and is driving traffic
00:07:00 00:07:04 and is really creating a great customer
00:07:02 00:07:07 experience you're going to reach out to
00:07:04 00:07:08 brands like this guy
00:07:07 00:07:11 who is making twenty two thousand
00:07:08 00:07:14 dollars a month with over a thousand
00:07:11 00:07:16 nearly five star reviews selling horse
00:07:14 00:07:19 boots in spite of his listing having
00:07:16 00:07:22 only one image that's repeated
00:07:19 00:07:24 not once not twice but three times his
00:07:22 00:07:27 bullet points being absolutely
00:07:24 00:07:28 non-descriptive and his product listing
00:07:27 00:07:31 leaving prospective customers in the
00:07:28 00:07:34 dark leaving them asking basic questions
00:07:31 00:07:36 like what size should i get which could
00:07:34 00:07:39 be addressed with a simple size chart
00:07:36 00:07:42 and if you observe over here this brand
00:07:39 00:07:44 of horse boots is called professional
00:07:42 00:07:47 choice that's the brand name they aren't
00:07:44 00:07:51 selling their horse boots on amazon a
00:07:47 00:07:52 third-party seller named nrs world is so
00:07:51 00:07:55 they're not going to be concerned about
00:07:52 00:07:57 you driving sales away from them they
00:07:55 00:07:59 make money by selling you their products
00:07:57 00:08:02 at wholesale pricing and you make money
00:07:59 00:08:04 by selling them on amazon at retail
00:08:02 00:08:06 pricing and they would much rather have
00:08:04 00:08:09 someone on amazon selling their products
00:08:06 00:08:10 who's going to add value to their brand
00:08:09 00:08:12 you know if they compare you know one
00:08:10 00:08:15 way to secure these brands is by
00:08:12 00:08:17 actually doing a screen share video
00:08:15 00:08:18 finding out the contact information of
00:08:17 00:08:20 the brand and doing a screen share going
00:08:18 00:08:22 to the amazon listing like this and be
00:08:20 00:08:24 like hey i just notiked that nrs world
00:08:22 00:08:26 is selling this product you know you've
00:08:24 00:08:28 only got three of the same images on
00:08:26 00:08:30 amazon your customers are asking basic
00:08:28 00:08:32 questions like what size should i get
00:08:30 00:08:34 and we could really help improve this
00:08:32 00:08:35 listing you know there's a lot we could
00:08:34 00:08:38 do here so that we could have a better
00:08:35 00:08:40 customer experience and really it's
00:08:38 00:08:42 going to help increase conversion rates
00:08:40 00:08:44 and brand loyalty so the value that
00:08:42 00:08:46 you'll add is by helping to drive more
00:08:44 00:08:49 traffic to the amazon listing
00:08:46 00:08:52 to increase their sales and to improve
00:08:49 00:08:53 the overall quality of the amazon
00:08:52 00:08:55 listing
00:08:53 00:08:56 but wait a minute tatiana i don't know

00:09:33 00:09:36 brands they're not amazon sellers they
00:09:35 00:09:38 don't know a thing about selling on
00:09:36 00:09:40 amazon they know they should but they
00:09:38 00:09:41 have other responsibilities they have
00:09:40 00:09:44 other things that they need to be
00:09:41 00:09:45 putting their time and attention into
00:09:44 00:09:48 and they would love if someone could
00:09:45 00:09:49 just walk on in send them an email and
00:09:48 00:09:51 say hey you know i know you've been
00:09:49 00:09:52 meaning to improve your amazon listing
00:09:51 00:09:55 and sell on amazon you don't have the
00:09:52 00:09:58 time but i do and i have experience and
00:09:55 00:10:01 i know how to do this and you know
00:09:58 00:10:02 that's how you secure them so this
00:10:01 00:10:06 you can learn that stuff it's really
00:10:02 00:10:08 easy to learn i learned this stuff like
00:10:06 00:10:10 six years ago and it honestly hasn't
00:10:08 00:10:12 changed when it comes to optimizing your
00:10:10 00:10:14 amazon listing all of that stuff none of
00:10:12 00:10:16 that's changed over the last six years
00:10:14 00:10:18 and if you want to take it one step
00:10:16 00:10:20 further and really equip yourself so you
00:10:18 00:10:23 can feel really confident to approach
00:10:20 00:10:26 these brands as a professional then take

00:11:51 00:11:55 launched a product for the first time
00:11:52 00:11:56 have no reviews no historical sales
00:11:55 00:12:00 you're looking for established products
00:11:56 00:12:02 on amazon with reviews and sales data
00:12:00 00:12:04 and what kind of products can you look
00:12:02 00:12:06 for you can look for products in all
00:12:04 00:12:08 categories it's really you're not
00:12:06 00:12:10 limited to any one single category what
00:12:08 00:12:13 is important is that they are
00:12:10 00:12:16 replenishable wholesale products and
00:12:13 00:12:19 when i say replenishable i don't mean
00:12:16 00:12:21 consumer consumable products like
00:12:19 00:12:22 non-perishable products that's not what
00:12:21 00:12:24 i'm toking about when i say
00:12:22 00:12:25 replenishable i mean
00:12:24 00:12:29 products that
00:12:25 00:12:33 have sustainable supply and demand
00:12:29 00:12:36 so that you can reorder from the brand
00:12:33 00:12:37 uh continuously that's very important
00:12:36 00:12:39 you're going to need to look for
00:12:37 00:12:41 consistent sales
00:12:39 00:12:42 you don't want a product that's selling
00:12:41 00:12:44 really well one month not selling well
00:12:42 00:12:46 the next month and you're also going to
00:12:44 00:12:48 be looking for the estimated profit
00:12:46 00:12:50 margins so before you move forward with
00:12:48 00:12:53 contacting a brand you want to try and
00:12:50 00:12:55 calculate what would be my return on
00:12:53 00:12:57 this product because at the end of the
00:12:55 00:12:59 day profit is everything
00:12:57 00:13:02 number two sourcing
00:12:59 00:13:05 contacting the brand owners forging a
00:13:02 00:13:07 mutually beneficial relationship again
00:13:05 00:13:10 mutually beneficial this is so important
00:13:07 00:13:11 you're going to benefit by being able to
00:13:10 00:13:13 purchase their products at a wholesale
00:13:11 00:13:15 price you're going to try and negotiate
00:13:13 00:13:17 to become the authorized reseller of
00:13:15 00:13:20 their product so other people can't sell
00:13:17 00:13:21 their products on amazon and what you're
00:13:20 00:13:23 going to do in return is you're going to
00:13:21 00:13:26 really help improve
00:13:23 00:13:27 their brand assets on amazon improve
00:13:26 00:13:29 their listing
00:13:27 00:13:31 just improving their listing can improve
00:13:29 00:13:33 conversion rate overall which is going
00:13:31 00:13:35 to be a win-win for you
00:13:33 00:13:36 so we want win-win for everyone that's
00:13:35 00:13:40 the key and that's how you're going to
00:13:36 00:13:42 be able to score these relationships
00:13:40 00:13:45 with these brand owners and number three
00:13:42 00:13:46 selling this is the easy part once you
00:13:45 00:13:49 purchase the products at the wholesale
00:13:46 00:13:51 price you just sell them on amazon
00:13:49 00:13:53 really again it's easy because you don't
00:13:51 00:13:55 have to do the marketing these products
00:13:53 00:13:56 are products that are already selling
00:13:55 00:13:59 every single day
00:13:56 00:14:01 in high numbers and you just
00:13:59 00:14:03 sit back and enjoy the sales
00:14:01 00:14:05 and the only thing that you really have
00:14:03 00:14:07 to make sure that you're doing is
00:14:05 00:14:09 replenishing inventory you don't want to
00:14:07 00:14:11 run out of stok because even one day
00:14:09 00:14:14 out of stok means a loss of sales
00:14:11 00:14:15 potential sales for you so that's the
00:14:14 00:14:17 gist of it it's a very simple model
00:14:15 00:14:20 which is why i think it's a great option
00:14:17 00:14:21 for those just getting started

00:15:34 00:15:39 labeling but you can definitely scale
00:15:37 00:15:41 this business without having to invest
