00:01:03 00:01:08 credit card you know what I found
00:01:04 00:01:11 I found two charges that I was added to
00:01:08 00:01:13 for continuity programs from that
00:01:11 00:01:16 company Survival life now I hate to call
00:01:13 00:01:19 a business out I absolutely hate that
00:01:16 00:01:20 but I've started seeing when I made a
00:01:19 00:01:23 post inside our Facebook page
00:01:20 00:01:24 I said hey like has anybody else had
00:01:23 00:01:26 issues with survival life and not
00:01:24 00:01:28 getting your products getting forced
00:01:26 00:01:30 into continuity programs monthly
00:01:28 00:01:32 subscription box programs and other
00:01:30 00:01:34 people did have the same issues with
00:01:32 00:01:37 them and I was like what the heck like
00:01:34 00:01:39 guys like this is not this is how you've
00:01:37 00:01:41 ruined your ecommerce business guys the
00:01:39 00:01:44 problem is with a lot of people they get
00:01:41 00:01:45 success in e-commerce is or even when
00:01:44 00:01:47 you're building your e-commerce business
00:01:45 00:01:49 right now he's like guys you have to
00:01:47 00:01:52 understand that you have a lot of power
00:01:49 00:01:54 okay you're taking somebody's credit
00:01:52 00:01:56 card information from them and when you
00:01:54 00:01:58 take that that means they trust you okay

00:01:58 00:02:01 hard-earned money their hard-earned
00:01:59 00:02:04 dollars and for you to take that money

00:02:17 00:02:21 than anything is how to build ethical
00:02:19 00:02:23 ecommerce businesses because if you're
00:02:21 00:02:26 not ethical in your business guys
00:02:23 00:02:28 you will not sustain growth so just to
00:02:26 00:02:29 kind of elaborate a little bit more if

00:02:44 00:02:49 is extremely unethical and it's going to
00:02:47 00:02:51 destroy their business so what happened
00:02:49 00:02:53 essentially in a nutshell if you haven't

00:02:53 00:02:58 and I bought like a little survival life
00:02:55 00:03:00 lighter from one of their funnels and on
00:02:58 00:03:03 the upsell page it asked me hey do you
00:03:00 00:03:06 want a free tactikal pen and in exchange
00:03:03 00:03:07 for that it really was unethical even
00:03:06 00:03:09 how they did this page honestly guys
00:03:07 00:03:10 always be upfront with your customers
00:03:09 00:03:12 with what you're gonna be billing them
00:03:10 00:03:15 they didn't even tell me nessa a very
00:03:12 00:03:17 small print they wrote Oh like you're
00:03:15 00:03:18 gonna be billed $17 a month for this
00:03:17 00:03:20 free pen but they made it seem like I
00:03:18 00:03:22 don't need to pay anything or anything
00:03:20 00:03:23 like that so again super unethical
00:03:22 00:03:27 always be ethical with your customers
00:03:23 00:03:28 and I click no on that right click no I
00:03:27 00:03:32 get to the next up so where they were
00:03:28 00:03:35 offering like survival food or whatever
00:03:32 00:03:37 on a monthly basis for 49.95 again I
00:03:35 00:03:39 said no to those things I said no to all
00:03:37 00:03:41 those things you can go see my room

00:03:44 00:03:48 this morning and I looked at our
00:03:45 00:03:50 business credit card and I was billed

00:03:50 00:03:56 continuity and then $17 for the other
00:03:53 00:03:57 continuity program and I was like are
00:03:56 00:04:00 you kidding me like I have video
00:03:57 00:04:01 evidence I have video evidence of me
00:04:00 00:04:03 saying no to those things and and guys a
00:04:01 00:04:04 lot of you guys are gonna make well Pete
00:04:03 00:04:06 like who cares why are you making a
00:04:04 00:04:08 video about this because guys what you
00:04:06 00:04:10 need to understand when what I teach
00:04:08 00:04:12 what I teach you guys especially if you
00:04:10 00:04:13 guys who join our program so are in our

00:04:38 00:04:44 businesses that I review and businesses

00:04:44 00:04:48 clients and other clients that I'm
00:04:45 00:04:49 working for is like you have to be
00:04:48 00:04:51 ethical okay
00:04:49 00:04:54 now I'm not saying like you know
00:04:51 00:04:56 sometimes you have to you know like
00:04:54 00:04:57 sometimes you have to have your there's
00:04:56 00:04:58 pros and cons like a lot of you guys who
00:04:57 00:05:00 are starting with drop shipping of
00:04:58 00:05:01 course there's cons to drop shipping
00:05:00 00:05:03 you're gonna have slow shipping times
00:05:01 00:05:04 and all those things and you can argue
00:05:03 00:05:07 the ethics there as well but I rather
00:05:04 00:05:08 you start with drop shipping then go and
00:05:07 00:05:10 invest ten twenty thirty thousand
00:05:08 00:05:12 dollars in inventory only to not be able
00:05:10 00:05:15 to sell or push product okay so there's
00:05:12 00:05:17 pros and cons but guys like when you're
00:05:15 00:05:18 starting to build especially you guys in
00:05:17 00:05:21 the program you guys kind of see the
00:05:18 00:05:23 entire layout of the entire all the
00:05:21 00:05:25 funnels the exact steps guys like
00:05:23 00:05:27 continuity like you can like I don't
00:05:25 00:05:28 know a lot of you I don't know if you
00:05:27 00:05:29 guys understand its but like the second
00:05:28 00:05:31 somebody gives you money you could put
00:05:29 00:05:33 them into a continuity plan immediately
00:05:31 00:05:34 like immediately right there they don't
00:05:33 00:05:36 have to click guess they don't have to
00:05:34 00:05:37 click no they don't do anything and what
00:05:36 00:05:38 companies like Survival life are doing

00:05:40 00:05:44 this anymore like you have to stop this
00:05:42 00:05:45 this is not sustainable for growth right
00:05:44 00:05:47 you're gonna get a ton of charge backs
00:05:45 00:05:48 you're gonna get a lot of customer
00:05:47 00:05:51 support emails you're gonna get a lot of
00:05:48 00:05:53 unhappy people posting about jobs okay
00:05:51 00:05:55 whoa I almost hit something off the
00:05:53 00:05:57 table you're gonna get a lot of people
00:05:55 00:05:58 hitting you up on social media calling
00:05:57 00:06:01 you out just like I'm doing right now
00:05:58 00:06:03 with them right because I want you guys
00:06:01 00:06:06 to take this as a learning learning
00:06:03 00:06:08 example okay with continuity and and
00:06:06 00:06:10 customer service and and and customer
00:06:08 00:06:12 payment information treat it like it's
00:06:10 00:06:14 gold because it is those customers are
00:06:12 00:06:15 the lifeblood of your business
00:06:14 00:06:17 and you have to be ruthless and
00:06:15 00:06:19 protecting that okay you have to be
00:06:17 00:06:21 ruthless and protecting that and not
00:06:19 00:06:23 just expect your customer to not be
00:06:21 00:06:25 smart right because that's what a lot of
00:06:23 00:06:27 these companies are doing is they're
00:06:25 00:06:29 expecting and they're preying on their
00:06:27 00:06:31 customer not to see like they were
00:06:29 00:06:33 expecting me not to see the the bill
00:06:31 00:06:34 right they should expected me not to
00:06:33 00:06:36 look at my credit card information to
00:06:34 00:06:39 see a seventeen dollar charge a month or
00:06:36 00:06:39 forty nine ninety five recharge every
00:06:39 00:06:40 single
00:06:39 00:06:42 there that's what they're preying on
00:06:40 00:06:44 right and when you pray on things on
00:06:42 00:06:46 your business like that guys you don't
00:06:44 00:06:48 have a business you cannot grow a
00:06:46 00:06:50 business on hope okay that's called hope
00:06:48 00:06:53 marketing okay and I hope you guys who
00:06:50 00:06:55 are watching this channel you guys don't
00:06:53 00:06:57 rely on like hope marketing a lot like
00:06:55 00:07:00 that as well because like that is not a
00:06:57 00:07:02 way to build the business instead always
00:07:00 00:07:03 and this is what what I always struggle
00:07:02 00:07:05 with with people inside our program when
00:07:03 00:07:07 we're doing funnel reviews with when we
00:07:05 00:07:09 get to the continuity step is like you
00:07:07 00:07:11 have to be upfront with your customers
00:07:09 00:07:12 guys if you're not upfront with your
00:07:11 00:07:13 customers hey that you're gonna be
00:07:12 00:07:14 billed in seven days you're gonna be
00:07:13 00:07:17 billed in fourteen days you're gonna be
00:07:14 00:07:19 billed in thirteen day or thirty days
00:07:17 00:07:21 after the trial ends right you're gonna
00:07:19 00:07:23 get if you don't do that guys and you
00:07:21 00:07:24 just like seho get this thing for free
00:07:23 00:07:26 and then you just have in very small
00:07:24 00:07:30 letters look oh and you'll be billed for
00:07:26 00:07:32 your X amount after you know after seven
00:07:30 00:07:34 days and you don't really tell them that
00:07:32 00:07:36 like straight up like obvious you know
00:07:34 00:07:37 beat make it obvious like again check

00:07:41 00:07:45 tiny writing like nobody would ever read

00:07:49 00:07:54 that's a funny part about this is like I
00:07:50 00:07:57 cook - no - those things and they still

00:07:57 00:08:00 and it's it's shocking to me that a
00:07:58 00:08:02 company like Survival life would do this
00:08:00 00:08:03 and other companies would do this guys
00:08:02 00:08:07 cuz what you have to understand is like
00:08:03 00:08:10 if you're chargebacks go up a certain go
00:08:07 00:08:12 up over a cut percent like your stripes
00:08:10 00:08:14 gonna cancel you PayPal's gonna cancel
00:08:12 00:08:16 you and the sad thing is that companies
00:08:14 00:08:18 like Survival life they they go with
00:08:16 00:08:20 high risk payment processors which is
00:08:18 00:08:23 usually a good thing to do go with like
00:08:20 00:08:25 an nmi and authorize that now which you
00:08:23 00:08:26 know or go work with a broker to set you
00:08:25 00:08:27 up with a more of a high risk thing
00:08:26 00:08:30 where you can your refund rate can
00:08:27 00:08:31 essentially be a little bit higher and
00:08:30 00:08:34 you don't get banned on like stripe or
00:08:31 00:08:36 any of those things but when you're
00:08:34 00:08:37 playing that game where you're like oh I
00:08:36 00:08:39 want to get my reefa I want to be
00:08:37 00:08:41 allowed to withstand like a five ten
00:08:39 00:08:43 percent refund rate to have your
00:08:41 00:08:45 business afloat that's like that's sad
00:08:43 00:08:46 look you're not doing the right things
00:08:45 00:08:49 to grow a business I'm sorry to tell you
00:08:46 00:08:51 right how about you work on working with
00:08:49 00:08:52 your customers to lower your refund rate
00:08:51 00:08:54 under one person
00:08:52 00:08:56 instead of trying to figure out ways
00:08:54 00:08:58 where you can get a higher refund rate
00:08:56 00:08:59 and-and-and I keep your business afloat
00:08:58 00:09:00 that's how you build a real business
00:08:59 00:09:03 that's what I want you guys to take from

00:09:17 00:09:20 of things like live life on my own terms
00:09:19 00:09:22 and all those you know things and stuff
00:09:20 00:09:24 like that that come along with like
00:09:22 00:09:26 being your own boss and I want the same
00:09:24 00:09:27 thing for you guys I want the same thing
00:09:26 00:09:29 for you guys but when you're building
00:09:27 00:09:31 these businesses you have to be ethical
00:09:29 00:09:33 you have to be ethical to yourself you
00:09:31 00:09:34 have to be ethical to your customers you
00:09:33 00:09:36 have to love your customers because you
00:09:34 00:09:37 don't love your customers right they're
00:09:36 00:09:38 not gonna they're not gonna get
00:09:37 00:09:39 referrals you're not gonna get repeat
00:09:38 00:09:40 business
00:09:39 00:09:42 nothing's gonna you're gonna get a
00:09:40 00:09:44 one-time sale and they'll never buy from
00:09:42 00:09:46 you again so essentially to waste it
00:09:44 00:09:48 because most money from a business comes
