- However, more than ten years ago, Heigl faced backlash and controversy due to comments she made about her role in a big screen comedy.
The Rise and Fall:
- In 2007, Heigl was riding high after winning an Emmy Award for her role in Grey's Anatomy and starring in the successful film Knocked Up.
- But her career quickly unraveled after an interview with Vanity Fair in which she openly criticized her own work in Knocked Up.
- Despite the film's success, Heigl's comments sparked immediate backlash and confusion.
Criticism and Backlash:
- Judd Apatow, the director of Knocked Up, expressed confusion over Heigl's comments, as the film had been well-received by audiences and critics.
- Seth Rogen, Heigl's co-star in the film, called her criticisms hypocritical considering the portrayal of women in her subsequent rom-com, The Ugly Truth.

- Over the years, Heigl and Rogen have seemingly reconciled, with Rogen speaking fondly of their time working together.
- Heigl has expressed regret for her comments and has sought therapy to address her reputation in Hollywood.

1930's Newsstand Advertising inc. Babe Ruth/1950's N.Y. Rangers Hockey Stick
I just had a meeting with hockey historian Craig Bullsbe and there's a picture of our meeting on my website. Now, I'm back in my office and I want to show you some of the amazing things I purchased from Craig. First, I have a game-used hockey stick from the 1957-58 Western Hockey League. It's signed by many players from the 1957 New York Rangers, including Hall of Famers Harry Howell, Lou Fontinato, and Gump Worsley. Andy Bathgate is also among the autographs, and Camille The Eel Henry is at the top. This stick is a real gem.
In addition to the hockey stick, I also got my hands on a fantastic collection from the 1930s. These are colored broadsides that used to be displayed outside newspaper stands to advertise what would be in the paper. This album is filled with them, particularly sports-related ones. There are a lot of baseball broadsides, most likely from New York. They feature photos from the Elliott News Service, which was an early part of the Associated Press. Some of the baseball ones include legendary players like Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth. There are also some unique ones, like Babe Ruth in a swimsuit, playing pool, and even boxing. And there's a great one featuring the New York Americans ice hockey team.
This collection is truly one-of-a-kind and I feel lucky to have it. If you have any rare sports memorabilia that you'd like to sell, please contact me at 6l47 to 61 774 or reach out to me through this website or my email at [email protected]. Thank you!
