Discover The 4 Different Types Of Shopify Dropshipping Store That Can Generate Online Sales
are you looking to start your very own drop shipping shopify store and you don't know how to get started? then keep watching this video. what is up everybody? fred lam here and welcome to my youtube channel, where i share everything on how to build, grow and scale your online business, and in our video today, i'm going to share with you the four types of drop shipping stores that you can actually create for your business. in fact, if you are already running a current drop shipping store and you're looking to create a new one, this video is going to help you out on knowing how to actually structure your drop shipping store for ultimate success. but before we actually get into it, make sure that you smash the like button, subscribe to my youtube channel and hit that notification bell so that each time i release a brand new video, you're gonna get notified right away. so, with that being said, first thing first, when it comes to creating a drop shipping shopify store, you need to actually figure out what type of store you want to create. now, over the past decade of building ecommerce businesses, and over the past several years on helping students to go from zero to generating over 45 million online, i've came to discover that there are really just four types of stores that you can actually create. now don't get me wrong. each of these works well in parallel with the product and also with the strategy that you are trying to pursue, and i'm going to explain that all inside this video. so type number one is called the one product store. you may have heard of this term before, where you essentially just create a shopify store to sell one single product. oftentimes people actually create a one product store as a branded store, so it looks very, very visually appealing and it does nothing but selling that one main product. now, with that one main product, most of the time it's really a mid tiket product selling anywhere from 50 all the way to a hundred dollars. now, when should you actually create a one product store and should you be starting with a one product store? in my opinion, i don't recommend beginners to actually create one product store. the reason why is you are gonna spend a lot of time, effort and money to actually create that one store and placing all your bets into that one product that you have not even tested out and knowing if the audience are actually going to buy your products or not. so with that, the risk for beginners to create one product store is very high. however, if you are already a shopify or drop shipper that knows what you're doing and you kind of know already ahead of time on what product is going to sell for you and you really want to actually build a brand out of it, then one product store can obviously make sense. it's more linear, more focused. at the same time, however, when it comes to a one product store, you gotta understand that you won't really get much repeated customers, unless if you are selling supplements, which obviously one product store does phenomenally well when it comes to supplements, because people come back over and over and over again to buy. but if you are selling just a physical product that is a one-time purchase only, then you are not able to actually have customers to keep coming back to buy that product from you over and over and over again. but at the same time, if you can actually have a product in your one product store where you can actually sell accessories or refills, that's gonna actually skyrocket the sale and really help you properly build a brand all out of it. so at the end of the day, a one product store- i don't suggest it for beginners, but if you are already a savvy entrepreneur, knowing exactly what you need to do with e-commerce, and you know that you have a product that is doing well and you know exactly what products in addition that you can actually sell with that main product that you use to create your one product store to get repeated customers. that one product store may work very well for you. now. type number two is called a general store. now you may have heard of the general store many, many times and if i were to actually give you an analogy of a general store, it's simply like walmart or targets and cvs. these are simply stores that sells anything and everything and it's all boiling down to how much product you have, what is the price that you have and actually, how fast you really put the product out into markets. now a general store gives you a advantage for beginners because you are not going to be tied down into a specific product or a specific niche. you will obviously have more resources and more of a, i would say, opportunities to find products that may sell for you. however, with a general store, in order for you to actually get repeated customers, it's going to be a lot more tough than, obviously, a niche store or a run product store, because now you are selling anything and everything and nothing is really linear for you to actually build a relationship with your customers. so, ultimately, if you are brand new into drop shipping, you never created a store before. this is the first time you are going to actually take a jab at it, then i will tell you: general store may make sense for you, but at the end of the day, if you are looking to create your next store, i would say: don't start a general store if you already have some experience with drop shipping at the same time, because ultimately, nowadays, with the rising cost of advertising in order for you to actually generate more profits, it's all living right within the back end, which is what's happening after a stranger becomes your customer and how you are going to convince that customer to come back and actually buy more from you. now, type number three is called the niche store, which is one of my favorite, and the reason why i like niche store is because when you are selling products within a niche, you will know that every single person that goes to your website or every single customer, they actually have one thing in common: they express interest in the niche that you are selling products. in and with that, for you to actually build a relationship with your customers, it's going to be a lot easier to convince them to actually come back to buy from you. and, as a matter of fact, if you actually create a niche store, you will have more of a chance to find winning products because, unlike general store, which you sell anything and everything and you are not really living within the niche and knowing if that product sells or not. it's gonna be hard for you. however, if you have a niche store- guess what? you should already be in that niche. you yourself should be also a customer, so you know exactly what are the problems people are facing so that you find products to actually solve it. and also because you are going to be living within your niche, you will know exactly what products have been selling before or what product is trending, and it's much easier for you to do so now. at the same time, if i were to give you a comparison for a niche store, it'll be like a golf town, a store that specializes into selling everything related to golf, so that, again, every single visitor and customer that goes to your website you know that they are all interested into golfing and for you to actually create a themed and a brand revolving around golf and establishing relationship with your customers by toking more about golf. it's gonna be a lot easier and simpler from there. now you might be wondering: well, fred, what is the fourth type of store that you can actually create? the fourth type is my new favorite and right now it's by far consisting a huge opportunity and, as a matter of fact, and also have all the advantages that a niche store, one product store and general store has, and i call this the big niche store. now, what is a big niche store? a big niche store can be referenced as simply bed bath and beyond or dick sporting goods. it's essentially still within a niche, but in a big niche. so let me take bed bath and beyond as an example: bed bath and be
Top 10 Niches For Dropshipping in 2022 📈
hello everybody, anton curley here from dropshiplifestylecom, and in this video i'm going to be sharing the top 10 dropshipping niches for 2022.. now, before we kick this off, i want to let you know i've been making these top 10 lists going all the way back since 2015 and almost all of the niches that i've recommended over the years are still good today. so if you want to get not just one top 10 list, but going back now since 2015, i'm gonna post a link in this video description. if you click it it'll take you to the blog page on our site and you'll be able to get them all. go through it at your own convenience and pick a winner for your first or your next drop shipping store. also, before i jump into the computer and pull up this presentation and share the top 10., i do want to let anybody that's newer here just be aware that niche election, although it's extremely important, it's the foundation of your business. it really is the first step of the process. so if you are new, just don't think you're gonna watch this video. you're gonna pick one that this guy online, anton, tells you to pick and you're gonna be rich tomorrow. just know there is real work involved with drop shipping when done right. first, you do niche selection, which, of course, i'm gonna give you today. second, you're gonna go ahead and do your market research. third, you'll build a website. fourth, you'll get approved with suppliers. fifth, you'll optimize your store for conversions. sixth, you'll get traffic, meaning website visitors. and seventh, you can start outsourcing and automating so your online store can be managed between 15 and 30 minutes a day. so, again, it's a process, but it is well well worth it and, in my opinion, there is no better business to choose than following what we do here at dropship lifestyle, which is high tiket drop shipping from domestik suppliers. so, with that being said, let's get into the computer. i'll pull up this presentation and i'll share the top 10 niches for dropshipping in 2022.. all right, welcome to the presentation. so in 2022, we are focusing on what i refer to as high demand niches, and i'll explain exactly what that means, what numbers we're looking for and how we find those numbers in just a few minutes. but first i want to share something that is more important now than ever before. if you're a member of dropship lifestyle, you already know this. if you're not, you want to be sure you can find at least 20 potential suppliers to sell for, in whichever niche you choose. again, this is nothing new. i've been teaching this in my coaching program since 2013, i think, but now, in 2022, as we move into it, more important than ever. so keep that in mind and, as i show you my research on this year's top 10 list, i'll show you how there is many, many more than 20 suppliers in every single one of them. so why do we want high demand niches? why do we want at least 20 suppliers? what has changed moving in to this new year? well, first off, you might be aware of this if you've seen the news anytime in the past few months. it seems like, but there are supply chain issues, specifically in the states, in the us, and because of that, certain suppliers are low on inventory. they don't know when it's going to come back, because there are lines of cargo ships, seems like, from the us to china. and because of that, if you only had, let's say, three, four or five suppliers that you sold for on your store, well, what happens if two of them or three of them run into their own inventory issues and you now can't sell their products until they're back in stok? well, what's gonna happen is you're gonna have to stop running ads, you're gonna stop getting sales and you're gonna have to just wait, at no fault of your own, without making money, waiting for suppliers to get inventory back in stok. now, if you have a broader variety of suppliers, if you have 20 or more, then guess what? some suppliers- yeah, they're going to run out of inventory. they're going to be back ordered. it's not going to be good, but at least you can keep going. you can keep running ads, you can keep selling other products. you can still have a business, right? so, more important than ever, don't focus on a handful of suppliers. you want to find at least 20 suppliers for your niche. the reason it's more important than ever is now because of supply chain issues, which these, i do think, will get worked out sooner rather than later. but still, don't start with a niche that has five suppliers or, even worse, build a one product store. okay, what else has changed now? this hasn't really shown itself yet in terms of the products we sell, but i definitely believe it's coming, and this is that inflation will lead to higher prices on products. so let me just give you an example. right, i'm at a stand-up desk right now, and let's say, last year, the price of this desk wholesale was 500 and the price you would sell it to your customer for was one thousand dollars. well, i believe that what we're going to see play out over this next year is possibly the wholesale cost going up from 500 to 600 and the retail price going up from a thousand to 1200. now, if this happens- and i really do, i can't guarantee anything, but it looks like we're headed this way- what i believe is going to happen is that, inserted niches, units sold may decrease. so let's just say, you typically sold 100 of these a month. maybe now you sell 95 of them or 90 of them, because you have less people willing to spend the higher prices now. with that being said, there is something really strange going on right now, which is, while a lot of people have no money, a lot of people have also saved up more money than ever over these past couple years since this whole virus started, and there are still a ton of people who aren't afraid to spend money and they're still spending it like crazy. so what i believe and what i considered as i selected the niches for this year is, even though i think units sold may decrease. i think overall revenue will increase because people will still be willing to pay the higher prices- not everybody, but enough people to offset the units sold going down. so if i had to summarize this in one sentence again, this is like the overarching thing i was considering as i did the research for this year's top 10 list. as far as what has changed, it is those with the ability to spend will continue to buy at higher prices, but our total addressable market- tam for short- may shrink. so you'll know this if you're a member of dropship lifestyle. but we do a test when we're validating niche ideas, called the demand test, and in this test we want to find at least 10 000 monthly searches for the niches we're considering. what i want to do this year and what i want you to bump it up to if you're building a brand new store, is, when you're doing your demand test, look for average monthly searches to be over 30 000. this means that over 30 000 people every month will be searching for the niche that you want to sell in and, as you'll see in this top 10 list, i'll show you the research and how the numbers check out. they are all well above 30 000.. now the reason i want this number bigger than it typically is and has historically been, is because, if inflation is real, if prices really do start to creep up, there's going to be less people that search, that buy, because they're going to search, they're going to want. but if the price is that much higher and they're more resistant to that price than they don't buy, well then you're going to be able to sell to less out of that total number. so just know, if you're in a niche now that has less than this, it doesn't mean, oh no, i'm going to shut my store and change everything. you should still be fine again. i kind of went overboard here. at first i was thinking let's bump it up to, you know, 15 or 20.. i said let's go 30 because let's just do this extreme. it's a brand new top 10 list. but just know, if i was building a new store, this is what i would look at from today when i did my research. so, with that being said, let's get into the top 10 niches for drop shipping list for 2022.. the f?

6 Criteria For Choosing Good Products To Dropship | Shopify Dropshipping
in the previous lesson, we toked about the drop shipping business model, which is the business model that we will be working with. in this lesson, we will be toking about product research. product research is one of the most, if not the most important, part of running your online business, and that is because if you don't get your product research done correctly and if you don't work hard enough on it and really know how to find the products that will sell for you, then it doesn't matter how neat your site looks, it doesn't matter how much time and effort you put into it, and it won't matter how much budget you put into your marketing. nothing will work and everything will fail if you don't get the product research done correctly. that is exactly what we're going to be toking about in these lessons. we're going to start with the first lesson in product research: the six criteria for finding a good product to sell. by the way, you guys don't need to write anything down, i got you all covered. the first criteria that you need to know in order to be able to conduct product research is that the product needs to be hard to find in stores. for example, check out this product. this is a toothbrush sanitizer, uv toothbrush holder and a toothpaste dispenser. it sanitizes your toothbrushes. this is what people are looking for, especially this year with the pandemic that we have going on now. let's check if this is a hard to find product at local shops that people usually have near their homes. for example, let's take a look at costco. as you can see, costco has no idea what this product is. when searching for uv toothbrush holder, same thing in home depot. home depot has no idea what this product is, but we can see that it is available and even trending through other suppliers. so that's the first criteria: that the product needs to be hard to find in stores. now the second criteria of finding a good product to sell is that it should be hard for customers to guess the price of this item, for example, that uv toothbrush sanitizer. it's not a product that people usually buy. i'm sure that you've never had such a product before, so it's hard to guess the price of a product that you've never bought before in your life. you can guess around how much you'd want to spend for such a product. for example, i wouldn't spend 100 or 150 on this product, but if it costs 30 or 40 or maybe even 50 dollars, sure why not. it's for the health of my teeth and it's worth that much money. so, with the second criteria being that it's hard to guess the product's price, you can actually make great profit on such products. you can price them up to three times their worth and even more. it really depends on a situation. but that's why the second criteria is that it needs to be hard for the customer to guess the price of this product. the third criteria that you need to keep in mind when doing your product research is that the product needs to solve a problem and make your customers life easier. for example, that uv sanitizer toothbrush holder that we saw solves a few problems. it cleans and sanitizes the toothbrushes, it holds and dispenses the toothpaste, it organizes the toothbrushes in an orderly fashion and it takes care of your personal hygiene. so there's a few problems that this product solves and it's hard to find in stores and it's hard to guess the price. these are the criteria that we're looking for in a winning product. the fourth criteria is that your drop shipping suppliers need to have fast shipping and delivery times. customers do not want to wait more than one week to get their orders. that is why i don't recommend to work with chinese suppliers. many people do it and it's fine. it is not a wrong method. do not get me wrong here- but if you want a higher quality store, higher quality products and satisfied customers, you need to work with american suppliers with fast shipping times. we're gonna get to the suppliers soon, but keep this in mind for the fourth criteria: that you need to work with suppliers- drop shipping suppliers- with super fast shipping times, super fast delivery times and good customer support when it comes to returns. now this brings us to the fifth criteria that you need to know before starting your product research, and this one is toking about the fact that your customers need to be able to buy the product impulsively without doing much product research before. for example, if you're selling something that has different weights and dimensions, then there's a good chance that the customer will need to go and do some research before buying from your store to see if it's the right size, the right measurement and so forth, and you might lose them because they may never come back to your shop. this doesn't mean that you can't sell products that have different sizes and dimensions, but do keep in mind that it will make them log out of your store see if it's what they need and maybe come back a day later after toking with their wife or friend or relative, if they would even remember to do so. you want to look for impulse buyers who will simply buy the product as soon as they see it in your shop. do not give them a reason to get out of your site and maybe come back later. so that's the fifth criteria: that the customers need to buy the product impulsively and not get out of your site and start doing some research and maybe come back later. the sixth and final criteria, before starting your product research, is that the products that you are adding to your stores should not cost more than thirty dollars, and there's a reason for this. yes, you can dropship products that cost a hundred, 150, 400 and even a thousand dollars. there's no problem with that. but if you want to have a much higher chance of making sales and profits, especially in the beginning of your journey, do not go for expensive products, because you're going to have to work much harder to convince the customers to buy this product from your shop. and when your items are cheaper, when they cost you up to thirty dollars, then you can sell them for sixty or even a hundred dollars, make some good profit along the way and have a much higher chance of selling. start with cheaper products up to thirty dollars. and this is the six criteria that i have for you guys. now, before we move on to the next steps of conducting product research, you need to know the difference between a general store, a niche store and a one product store, and which store should you have. as a beginner, it is much better to start with a niche store, and that is because when you have a niche store, you can start narrowing it down. once you have a winning product, you can start narrowing down your niche and seeing exactly what's going to go well for you. and when you have a niche store, it simply looks much better than a general store which just has a whole bunch of randomized products which have nothing to do with one another, so it looks unorganized and unprofessional. and as for one product stores, this can also be a good idea, but only once you have vast experience in the drop shipping industry, in the drop shipping world, and you know exactly which product you need to sell and which product is gonna sell. well, one product stores are really challenging because you only have one product and you're relying on that. so do not start with one product stores if you haven't drop shipped yet. start with a niche store which you will be able to brand professionally, and slowly you can start narrowing down the winning niche. for example, if you're going for the pet niche, you're not going to sell a dog collar and only dog collars in different sizes and colors. you want to sell a whole bunch of pet accessories and start to slowly notike which ones are selling well and which ones aren't, and then start narrowing down your products from there. so start with a niche store and i will show you exactly how you can do that and how you can narrow it down to winning products. remember how i told you guys that you don't need to write anything down because i got you guys covered wel.

Top 10 Winning Products To Sell In 2023 (Shopify Dropshipping)
today, I'm going to be sharing with you the top 10 products that you need to be selling in 2023. all of these products are proven and validated products that are currently going viral, and I hand picked each and every one of these so you guys can succeed in your Drop Shipping Store. so, with that being said, I'm going to be showing you the ad that's currently going viral. I'm going to show you the competitors website plus. I'm going to show you the product price on AliExpress, so you have all the information you need to go out and crush it. so, with that being said, let's get into product number 10.. product number 10 is an absolutely genius product. as you see this tiktok over here. it's only about nine seconds, but it's blown up: nearly 450 000 likes, 10 000 shares. but it's this scooper that also gives you a weight every time you scoop something up. the reason why I think this product is going to be such a winner is not only can you advertise this product as a food prep product, so people can accurately measure the amount of food they want to eat, but I also think this a great pet product if you want to accurately measure your pet food, and if we actually come over this competitor's website, you can see how poor they've actually merchandise this product. the website's literally named Connor storecom, so it looks like someone who's about 16 years old probably just got into Drop Shipping and his mom let him create a store and he named it Connor store. now, no hate to him, but this store could definitely be improved upon quite a bit and I think how you're going to be able to sell tons of this product is if you actually merchandise this for that bodybuilding community and brand your website to feature information targeting your ideal customer demographic. now, another thing I notike is this competitor is only selling this for 19.99. now, when we do come over to AliExpress, the product is super cheap. it's 4.31, which means that the competitor actually has a really solid markup. he's making about 15.50- 50 cents every time someone decides to purchase this product. now, the genius of this product is the fact that you would be able to get away selling this for 39.99 if you're really honing down and advertising this to your dream customer. so I think, if you want to sell this product, create a custom experience for your ideal demographic for this, which will be bodybuilders and weight lifters, and really create your messaging to speak to that customer. now, with that being said, let's move on to product number nine. so product number nine is a classic example of Click bait marketing. they're showing someone with frostbite black fingers and then they're saying, hey, here's how you can prevent it- these heated gloves. and it shows someone going into snow and actually using these. so, if you aren't aware, these heated gloves go viral every single year and they also are a pretty Evergreen product. of course, they will do better in this wintertime season, but I think the potential to advertise this right now is Limitless, especially because winter is still going to be here for quite a bit longer. now we have 221 000 likes on this post, 2500 likes from this company called try hot glove, so they're getting a great reaction and you can see their website over here. it's not a great website, guys. this is a very simple website. they don't even have reviews on this website, so I think that pretty much anyone watching this video can build a better website like this. on Shopify: Shopify makes it super easy, so you guys can obviously use my link down below if you guys don't have a Shopify membership yet, and it actually helps the channel out a ton. so thanks for doing that now. this would be my strategy if I wanted to sell this product. first, I would create a much better website than this competitor has over here and where I think they could use the most work is in this description, so make sure you have a very compelling description. I'll leave a link above. if you don't know how to create descriptions yet, this video will definitely help you out ton. but, as you see, they're selling this for 45 dollars and if we do come over to AliExpress, you can find a competitive product for 18.32. so there's definitely a decent profit margin. that means every time someone goes onto the hot glove and buys this product, they're making about 28 profit. so definitely a good profit margin. and this product would be really easy to advertise, doing organic content, just like this competitor has done. I think they figured out a really compelling hook, which is showing these people with frostbite and then showing this product. it's basically a classic- here's the problem and here's the solution- type advertisement. so if you are wanting to sell this product, just rinse and repeat the content strategy they've already developed, and I think this will also do awesome on paid advertising as well. now, with that being said, let's move on to product number eight. product number eight is a product I found on Facebook and I know this product is going to do extremely well. as you see, this video is showing this windshield that's frozen over and it has this device that basically unfreezes your windshield and it also acts as a portable heater in your car. so this is a two for one product. it's going to help you out with your windshield and when it's also super cold in your car, you're going to be able to put this on and turn it towards you. and, as you see, this is a paid ad that's being run right now and it started October 17th over here, but it already has 10 000 likes, over 3 000 shares on this product and if we come to the comment, you can see that a lot of these people really love this product. people are saying: I would love to have this, that would be good for my buggy, so there's a ton of people who already want this product, which is a great sign. to come over the comments and see that real demand. now, if we do come over this competitors website, we can see that they're selling this for 29.99 for the air blower and if you want the bracket as well, it's 32.99. now, in my opinion. I think they should have just grouped this together and sold it as one variant. usually having three separate options for such a simple product like this can definitely cause some confusion, but overall they have a decent product website. they put some good information in here, but I think it's a little bit clunky and, as you can see, the color scheme is not very congruent, and they also don't have reviews on this product, which kind of shocks me. reviews will easily increase your conversion rate dramatikally. so if you are wanting to sell this product, make sure you have a clean color scheme and make sure you're having a solid description with those reviews. now, if we do come over to AliExpress, the product is only 13. if I was selling this personally, I'd be selling this at 39.99. you can get a three times markup on this product easily. it just depends on how your branding this and Merchandising it. the more high-end that you're branding this, the more premium price you're gonna be able to command for a product like this. now, with that being said, let's move on to product number seven. product number seven is a product I found on Pinterest and, as you see, they're advertising this as 10 times cheaper than the Dyson air wrap and basically this is a five in one curler, and if we do come over to their website, you can see that they're selling this for a pretty hefty price- 99- and, honestly, their website's actually pretty decent. you guys should be looking at websites like this that have beneficial gifts and are actually clean, but there is a lot you could improve here. having too many gifts can slow down your website, and they've also bolded a lot of words that I don't think need to be bolded, and they could have simplified this page quite a bit. so take these notes if you are wanting to sell this product. but overall, it's good that they have a lot of information on here, because when you are selling products- this High tiket- you're definitely going to want to make sure you

search dobis catalog for products that fit your criteria, you add these products to your eCommerce store and then, once a customer places an order, you make a purchase through doba. doba then passes Top 10 Niches For Dropshipping in 2023 📈
hello everybody, Anton Crowley here from dropshiplifestylecom, and in this video we are going to be covering the top 10 niches for Drop Shipping in 2023.. I put together a presentation that I'm going to share with you, but before I do that, I want to let you know that I have been making these top 10 lists since all the way back in 2015, and if you want to see them all, to see how niches have changed and evolved over time, what I'm going to do is post a link in the description to a blog post that will outline all of the niches from the previous years, as well as this one. now. also, before we get into this, I do want to be very clear here that what we're covering is the top 10 niches, but picking the right product type to sell is step one of the process. now, every time I build my own stores or when I help other people build theirs, we start here: Niche selection. that's step one. step two is market research. step three is creating your website site. step four is getting approved with suppliers, the ones you can actually sell for as an authorized retailer and make money with. step five is then optimizing your store for conversions so people will buy from you. step six is getting traffic so people can find what they want which is listed for sale on your store. and finally, step seven of the process is to Outsource and automate as much as possible so that your business can be managed in about 15 to 30 minutes a day. now, I say that going in, because some people think all I need is a niche idea. once I have that, I'm going to throw up a website and I'm Gonna Be Rich, right, that's all I need. it's just a product, and products are the foundation. this is what everything else is built on. but again, reminder, Public Service Announcement. this is step one. so pay attention, follow this lesson closely. if you do that, you will be on your way to building a highly profitable semi-automated store that provides real value to your customers and to your bank account. but just know, this is the beginning, okay? with that being said, let's switch screens, let's jump into my computer and let's start the presentation in 2023. we are focusing on what I refer to as Recession Proof niches. these are niches where the products will sell regardless of what is happening with the economy. now, speaking of the economy, let's tok about what has changed over the past year and where I believe we're going to continue to move as we progress throughout 2023.. first off, inflation is up. I think everyone's aware of that. credit card debt in the US is up. per household consumer spending is down and personal savings is also down. don't worry, I came with charts to back up what I'm toking about here. the first one here shows the inflation rate going back from January of 2020 and it stops here tracking at September of 2022. but, as you can see, there has been a massive and sustained increase in inflation as a percent and what that means is that everyday things, the type of things we sell, cost more money to the consumer. now, credit card debt. this is going back to 1999 and tracking up through Q2 of 2022. you can see all the way. on the right, we're almost at an all-time high when it comes to US credit card debt outstanding balances, which means people have a ton of debt right now. and again, I'm not just showing where we're at now, but where I think we're going over this next year is that debt is going to continue to increase because products are also costing the consumer more. now. on top of that, we're met with consumer spending going down, as you can see here from GDP in the US for q1 and Q2 of 2022. we are down, meaning people are spending less money. and if you want to pause this video frame and read through the description right here of this chart, you can see at the bottom that private good producing Industries decreased by 10.4 percent. that is a big drop and on top of that, personal savings in the US. you can see here, moving in through the summer, which is as far as we have data at this point, it's at 3.5 percent, when going back just a year ago, it was almost double that. so what does this mean? it means that products cost more and customers- the consumer, the people we sell- to have less money to spend. now, before I pull up the list and we get into the top 10 niches for Drop Shipping in 2023, I think it's important to clarify here that this does not mean that everyone's broke and it does not mean that people aren't spending money. what it means to me is that people have less disposable income to spend, but they still have it. people still do have money, especially our Target demographic, but they're making better decisions about where to spend that money. it's just not a free-for-all now, where people have zero percent interest rates and one percent interest rates and they're just buying whatever they feel like. now people are making smarter decisions with their money and buying things they need and, as you'll see as we get into the top 10 list, that decision- decision making- that's happening in the consumer's mind- is reflected on all of these niches that I chose. one last thing before I get in to this top 10 list, I want you to know that these are in no partikular order. they are all niches that I have researched, that I think will perform great in 2023 and I personally would build a store in any of them. okay, with that being said, let's start the list. the first Niche on our list this year is Nursery room furniture. so I want you to think things like cribs, the baby dressers, the changing tables, even the decorative rugs, the little teepee you see there, the art for the room, the shelving. and the reason this is on the list this year and it made the cut first off- is it meets all of the criteria that we discussed in the last video, which I'll link to below. but on top of that, baby furniture and baby supplies is something that parents do not skimp on in a recession. people, when they have their first, their second, their third child. whatever it is, they want the best for them, more so the first, but parents out there will get it. they're still spending the money on their children. they're not cutting back, especially on Nursery room furniture items, so this Niche definitely makes the list for 2023.. now the next Niche that we have on this year's list is camping gear. reason being, like I mentioned earlier, people are going to be spending less, especially the people that can't afford to spend more, but, like I mentioned, people still have money. they're just going to be choosing where to spend that money differently. so maybe, instead of taking a family of four on a week-long vacation to Disney World and spending five, six, seven thousand dollars, they'll decide you know what. this year let's spend one or two thousand dollars invested into camping equipment, like a new tent, maybe like a roof rack for our car and sleeping bags and pots and pans and everything we need to have a great vacation locally for two thousand dollars that we can repeat every year. another great Niche during a recession, which is why it made this list for top 10 of 2023. and, of course, again, this meets all of the Dropship lifestyle Niche selection criteria. I did a video just last week that shared five tips for profitable Niche election in 2023.. again, if you haven't seen that one yet, I'd recommend watching it after this one. it will be linked below now. this is the third Niche on the list, but remember, they're in no partikular order. I would sell any of these, and this Niche is automotive parts. now here you can think: things like the springs for cars, for the shock absorbers, things like brake rotors and brake pads, things like replacement carburetors. now, why is this Niche and really all of these niches within the more General niche of Automotive Parts? why is this so relevant in 2023 and during a recession? well, it's because people have recently been spending a ton of money on cars, including used cars, where the prices have surged over the past few years, and as those cars start to need repairs, people during a recession are going to be less likely to trade those in and
