In this tutorial, I will guide you on how to get your first Bing Ad clients. Stick around until the end because I have a guaranteed money-making strategy for you. Let's dive right in.

Establishing Credibility:

1. Start by finding local businesses on Bing that are not utilizing effective advertising strategies.

- Search for keywords like plumber or lawyers to find potential clients.

- Many businesses are not making their ads specific to their target audience or using proper keyword targeting.

- Cherry-pick businesses that have products or services you can sell.

Converting Clients:

2. Once you have a few clients on board and have shown them conversions, ask for testimonials.

- Testimonials, whether in video or written form, are crucial for prospective clients to trust you.

- Prospective clients can contact your current clients to get a more personal feel for your services.

Bidding and Persistence:

3. Bid consistently and frequently to secure more clients.

- Utilize platforms like Freelancer.com, Upwork, PeoplePerHour, Guru, and the Warrior Forums.

- Don't be afraid to explore sites like ND Monster and Glass Door, which often have higher-paying freelance projects.

- Tailor your proposals and resumes to each job, demonstrating that you have read the job requirements and understand the company's needs.

The Secret Sauce:

4. If you don't have prior client experience, leverage platforms like GoDaddy to offer Bing Ads to potential clients.

- Sign up for a cheap GoDaddy account and receive $150 in Bing ad credits.

- Offer this credit to clients for free, with the condition that they only pay for ads after the credit is used.

- This strategy is a win-win situation for clients, as they have nothing to lose and can benefit from cheaper advertising on Bing.

By following these steps, you can establish credibility, convert clients, and continuously bid for new opportunities. Additionally, leveraging platforms like GoDaddy can help you attract local businesses that are not utilizing Bing Ads effectively. Start implementing these strategies and watch your client list grow.

Bing Ads conversion tracking with Google Tag Manager | Track Conversions with Microsoft Ads

In this video, I will show you how to track conversions with Microsoft Bing Ads and Google Tag Manager. Hey, my name is Julius and welcome to Analytics Mania YouTube channel. If you're new here, I teach people how to work with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. So, if you want to stay up to date with GTM, consider subscribing.

If you're running ads on Microsoft Bing, you must implement conversion tracking. By doing so, you will collect additional data that will allow you to measure which ads, keywords, demographics, and other things are performing better, and which ones should be removed from your marketing campaigns. The good thing is that one of the ways you can implement this is with Google Tag Manager. So, let's take a look at how you can do that.

In this video, I presume that you have already created a Bing Ads account, so I will not be showing those steps. When it comes to tracking, we have to install the Microsoft UET tag. UET stands for Universal Event Tracking. So, to get started, first, you have to click on the tools in the top right corner. If you're watching this tutorial in the future and maybe the interface is different, then don't worry and try to use the search feature in Bing Ads interface. Here you can enter UET, and then you will find something like this.

But now, let's click on tools and then go to the UET tag. Click it, and since I'm working with a fresh new account, I have no UET tags yet. Therefore, I will have to click create UET tag. Enter the name of the tag, I will enter something like demo UET tag. But in your case, you could enter the name of your business or maybe your website. Then click save, and here you will get a tracking code that should be added to all pages of your website.

But since this tutorial will be using Google Tag Manager, the only thing we will need is this ID right here. If you are completely new to Google Tag Manager, then I will post a link to a mini course below the video where you can get up and running with GTM in about one hour. Now let's go to Google Tag Manager and install this tracking code. In the GTM interface, click tags, then new tag configuration, and then keep looking for the Microsoft tag.

There are many tags here, so the fastest way would be to use the search and enter Microsoft. Here is the tag template that we are going to use. Click it right here, and here we have to paste the ID that we got right here. Now, I will double click it, copy it, and then paste it right here. This tag will send the page view to Bing Ads when it is fired. That's why we have to configure it to fire on every page view.

In the triggering section, click anywhere and then select all pages. Normally, as more and more privacy regulations spread across the globe, you would need to fire this tag only when a visitor gives consent for tracking. To keep this video shorter, I will be firing it on all pages regardless of consent. But if you're working with a project that has a lot of traffic, for example, from the European Union, you need to respect the consent as well.

Now let's name this tag. It can be something like Bing Ads or maybe Microsoft UET Page View, and then save it. Now the time has come to test this. You can do that by clicking the preview button in the top right corner of the GTM interface. Click it, then enter the URL of the website where you want to install Bing Ads UET tag. Click connect, and here you should see that the preview mode has connected. You should also see that on the container loaded event, our Microsoft UET Page View tag has fired.

But that is not all. We also need to check if the request was sent properly to Bing Ads. That can be done with a Chrome extension called UET Tag Helper. I will post a link to this extension below the video. Once you have the UET Tag Helper installed in your browser, go to the page where you have activated your UET tag. Look for that extension and click it. Now, this extension is turned on and it will be listening to all the requests that are sent to Bing Ads.

Refresh the page of the website and click the UET Tag Helper once again. Now, I see the number one, so this means that there was one request sent to Bing Ads. Click the tag, and here you will see the event, which is page load event. This is good because our tag is sending the page view event. Page view and page load are the same thing. If you click this parameter details triangle, you will see more details in a table format. This looks okay because we also see the green checkmark.

If you go back to the interface of Bing Ads and you are still in the UET tag section, you will see that your UET tag is still unverified. But don't worry because it takes up to 24 hours for this status to change to verify. You can read more about this by hovering your mouse over it. Once you make sure that your setup is working properly, you can now publish these changes. Once this goes live, your Microsoft UET tag will be tracking all the website visitors that come from the Microsoft Ads.

Now, the next step is conversions. If you have some important interactions on a website that you want your visitors to complete, those interactions could be treated as conversions. For example, if someone signs up for a newsletter and then is redirected to a thank you page, you could create a conversion that tracks all the visits to that particular thank you page. In many cases, that might be enough.

But in some cases, maybe a form is submitted and only a thank you message is displayed and the URL doesn't change. In that case, you should track the events and send them as conversions to Bing Ads as well. In this video, I will show you both options. The first one is the simple one and it works if the URL of the page, let's say the thank you page or the order confirmation page, is unique enough so that you could distinguish that the conversion was completed.

To create your first conversion, go to Tools, then scroll down, and in the Conversion Tracking section, click Conversion Goals to create a new conversion goal. Click this button, enter a description like Form thank you page and the URL contains /pages/thankyou. Enter the goal category, for example, Subscribe. Keep the scope as it is, and the revenue value as Don't assign value. Choose whether to count all conversions or only unique conversions.

You have the option to include this conversion in the conversions column of your reports. Now click submit to publish these changes and enter a descriptive version name. Once you see the version summary, it means your UET tag is now live and activated for all the website visitors.

Now, the next step is to track conversions. If you have important interactions on your website that you want to track as conversions, you can do that by creating conversion goals. These goals can be based on specific actions, such as signing up for a newsletter or making a purchase.

To create a conversion goal in Bing Ads, go to the Conversion Tracking section and click on Conversion Goals. From there, you can create a new conversion goal by clicking the Create new goal button. Enter a name for your goal, select the type of conversion you want to track, and set up the conversion settings.

Once you have set up your conversion goals, you can track them in your Bing Ads account and use the data to optimize your advertising campaigns. Remember to regularly review your conversion data and make any necessary adjustments to improve your results.

In conclusion, tracking conversions with Microsoft Bing Ads and Google Tag Manager is essential for measuring the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns. By implementing conversion tracking, you can collect valuable data that will help you optimize your ads and improve your ROI. So, follow the steps outlined in this article and start tracking conversions today.

Step by Step Integration of FeedAPIs For Bing Shopping /MS App

Hello friends, welcome to the help videos of Bane Shopping Feed App by Sim Process. In this video, we will show you the step-by-step integration of Bing Shopping Feed App in your Shopify store. Before moving on, please subscribe to our channel to get tips and tricks about digital marketing, and press the bell icon to get notified instantly when we upload a new video.

Please note that Microsoft Shopping Ads, previously known as Bing Shopping Ads or Product Listing Ads, are only supported in certain countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, India, France, and Germany. If your Shopify store's default content is in English, French, or German, and the default currency is USD, GBP, AUD, CAD, INR, or EU R, then you will be able to use our app for submitting a feed to your Microsoft Merchant Center store.

We have set these restrictions in the app because it is a requirement for targeting these countries. Our app will only work with the default database content of Shopify and not with translated content from any other app or prices in any other currency set by a currency converter app.

Now let's see the steps for the Bing Shopping Feed App installation in our demo store:

- Go to the Shopify App Store page and search for Bing Shopping Feed.

- Click on our app, Bing Shopping Feed App, in the App Store page.

- Click on Add App and then tap on Install App.

- You will be asked to login with your Microsoft account, which you are using to manage your Microsoft advertising account. This authentication will connect our app with your Microsoft ads account via API.

Now you are in the app, and you need to select a primary target country and language of the content on your store from the drop-down menu. Then click on the Confirm Target Market button. The options of the primary target country are given based on the default currency of your Shopify store. If your store's default currency is USD, you will be shown the option of the United States.

Next, choose your Microsoft advertising account. If you have access to multiple ads accounts, you will see multiple options. Select the right Microsoft ads account, and the app will allow you to select the store you created in the Microsoft Merchant Center section of your Microsoft ads account. Make sure to select the right store you wish to connect the app with.

If you haven't created any store in the Microsoft Merchant Center section, please follow the video given in the description to create a store inside the Merchant Center. Once you have created and approved the store, the app will be able to show it as an option and let you connect the app with that store.

After successfully connecting your Microsoft or Bing Merchant Center section of your Microsoft ads account, you will reach our app's interface. You will see a success message here, and the sync settings from Shopify page will appear. Choose the options according to your preferences and click on the Save and Next Step button.

Next, you will reach the Bing Sync Settings page. If your store is targeting countries like the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, and France, it is necessary to submit prices including tax. If your prices in Shopify include tax, select the Yes option. If they do not include tax, select the No option. If you select No, the app will ask you the percentage of tax you charge on the product price for the target country. Enter the percentage, and you can also do the settings for sale price UTM tags and choose the product ID format.

Click on the Save and Next Step button, and you will reach the final step, which is the Sync Products page. Here, you will find the total published product count and the notification email section. Press the Sync button, and all your products will be submitted to the respective Merchant Center.

Once your products are submitted, you will see their status in the Bing Status section of our app as submitted. Products with warnings or errors will be available in the error section in the same status bar.

Please note that Microsoft Merchant Center can take up to 24 hours to show feed statistics and details in the store summary page. To see that, go to Microsoft Advertising, then go to tools, and then go to Microsoft Merchant Center.

In summary, please note that you might see two different catalogs in the catalog management section of your Microsoft Merchant Center account. Microsoft automatically creates a default catalog for the United States, along with the catalog submitted by our app for your primary target country, in this case, France. Both catalogs will show the manual upload as the feed submission method, even though the feed is submitted using the content API method. So, please do not make any changes to the automatically created catalog, as it may create issues for feed submission by our app.

Microsoft usually takes up to three business days to review and approve newly submitted feeds to the Microsoft Merchant Center.

How to Setup A Microsoft Merchant Center Account!

Hi guys, welcome to this session. Today, we're going to see how to set up a Microsoft Merchant Center account for creating shopping campaigns. Once we log into our Microsoft Ads account, guys, we can go to the Merchant Center on the top right corner. From here, we can start the setup process.

Here, as you can see, we have to create a store. Now, we can start giving the details. We can give a store name. Then, we have to validate the domain. For doing this, there are two options. One is that you can set up the UET tag and with that, you can do it. Or, you can use the Bing Webmaster Tools as well to validate your specific domain. So, let's say we are choosing the second one.

In order to validate your domain through Bing Webmaster Tools, we'll have to log into the Bing Webmaster website. And over there, we have to provide a domain. So here you come, which is your Webmaster Tools, and here you can provide your site URL. And you can add this.

Right now, we will go through a verification process. So, there are three ways of doing it, which Microsoft Bing gives us. One is that they will give you an XML file to download, which we need to upload onto our website to verify it. The other one will be which we can add an HTML tag to our website and then we can verify. And the third one is we can add a CNAME record to DNS.

So, let's say we are choosing the HTML meta tag. Here you can copy the code, guys. First, and now you can go to your CMS tool where you have built your website. So, in my case, I have built my website. This is the website which I am using right now, as you can see. And if I check if there is any code on this website or not, we can go to the particular UET tag helper given by Microsoft. And you can see it clearly says there is no tags found right now.

So, I have built this website through Wix.com. So, here I will go, and we will paste that code. This is the dashboard of Wix, guys. So, we'll go to the left panel into settings, and in settings, we can come to the bottom of the page to advanced settings and go to custom port. This is where we are going to paste that port, guys. This is the one which has been given to us. And we can apply this to the top of the page and apply.

I'm going to refresh this website so that they take the code into consideration. And then we'll go back to our website to check it once. Here also, I am going to refresh my website to see whether it is firing the code or not. Once the code has been pasted, now we can go back to our Webmaster tool and try to verify this.

Now you can see it says, Congratulations! Site edition is successful. So now we have logged inside the Webmaster Tools with this website. Now you can go back to your Microsoft Merchant Center account setup and you can just refresh it once and start the process once again.

Now you can see it has automatically picked up our website, and you can move forward with this.
