Block Ads on Samsung S8: Easy Guide

Published on: June 4 2023 by pipiads

Hey guys, welcome to my channel! In this video, we'll be discussing how to disable and turn off full screen random pop up ads on your Samsung or Android phones.

Recently, one of my friends faced the problem of his phone being infected with random pop up ads. We found out that the cause of the problem was an adware from an app he had recently installed. So, in this video, I'll be sharing three solutions on how to determine which app is causing the issue and how to uninstall it.

Solution 1:

To determine which app is causing the problem, click on the most recent button on the bottom left of your screen. An ad is treated as an app, and you'll see the app responsible for the ad. In our case, it was the Step Tracker app, which my friend had installed on his phone.

Solution 2:

Another way to determine the app is to go to your Play Store, click on my apps, and sort them by the last used. The app responsible for the ad will be listed there. In our case, it was the Step Tracker app.

Solution 3:

If the first two solutions don't work, you can install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from your Play Store. It's one of the best anti-malware apps out there and is free to use. Just scan your phone with it, and it'll show you the app causing the issue.

If you're facing random pop up ads on your phone, try these three solutions to determine the app responsible for it and uninstall it. Let me know in the comments which solution worked for you. How to stop ads on android Phone in 3 Minutes

Hey guys, in today's video we're going to talk about how to remove pop-up ads from your Android phone that cause trouble for you. These types of ads can be really annoying, but don't worry, we'll show you how to remove them permanently.

Sources of Pop-up Ads:

There are two sources of these ads: Google and some kind of virus that you accidentally installed into your mobile phone. We'll provide solutions for both in this video.

Removing Google Ads:

To stop Google ads, first, open your mobile settings and find the Google option. Open the ad section and turn off the opt-out personalization option if it's available. Also, reset your advertising ID. Next, go to your Google account's data and privacy section and find the ad personalization settings. You can remove the categories of ads that appear on your screen one by one or turn off the ad personalization option altogether. Finally, open your Chrome browser, go to settings, and set the option to block third-party cookies.

Removing Virus-based Ads:

To remove virus-based ads, go to your settings and find the apps section or manage applications. Hide the system apps if you have any difficulty, then find the app without a name and logo and simply uninstall it. If there are still ads coming, the final way to remove them is by simply resetting your mobile phone. Make sure to create a backup of your data before resetting your phone.

Block ALL Ads! Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Tab S8 Ultra, S22 Ultra (all android devices)

Hey everyone, Raider here. I hope you're all doing great and having a fantastic day. One of the most annoying things about having mobile devices is the constant ads. In this article, we'll take a look at blocking all sorts of ads on your Samsung Galaxy and other Android devices.

Blocking System Wide Ads:

- System wide ads are the pesky ones that come in through news feeds and applications.

- To block them, go to Settings > Connections > More Connection Settings > Private DNS.

- Switch from Automatic to Private DNS and type in dns.adguard.com.

- This bypasses your ISP's DNS servers and filters out blacklisted ad sites before you see them.

- The only caveat is that it may slow down your page loading time if you're not close to an AdGuard server.

Blocking Website and YouTube Ads:

- Download the free AdBlock Browser from the Play Store.

- It has a built-in list of blacklisted websites and filters out ads before they're served to you.

- It also knows when you're on YouTube and other media consumption sites and blocks ads while you're watching content.

By implementing the DNS trick with AdGuard and using AdBlock Browser, you can easily block ads on your Samsung Galaxy and other Android devices. While there are other ad blocking solutions available, these two methods are quick and simple. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to drop them below. Thanks for watching!
