How I Started a Clothing Brand From Scratch

clothing brands. you can't even count how many there are in today's world. it's the most popular business to start, so that means I'm gonna try to start a successful clothing brand in just 30 days. I have no real idea what I'm doing, but to start this journey, I need to figure out how I can stand out from the crowd. yeah, not like that, though. the first thing I'm going to worry about is who is my target audience, or customer. I think it's only fitting that I choose The Entrepreneur Space. essentially, my master scheme is to design the products, the store and the advertisements myself, but I will be sponsoring my own videos with a shout out to this clothing brand. now for the products in manufacturing, I will not, in fact, be buying a printing press. instead, I'm gonna be doing prints on demand, which is essentially where the customer places the order, and then the design is printed from the demand of the customer and then shipped out to them directly from the supplier Warehouse without me ever having to touch it. before starting this challenge, I was feeling off. then I sporadically decided to pursue this- another long time dream that I pushed to the side. I only hoped my hard work from past businesses would translate to success with this one. I'm about to create The Branding and the designs for the shirts and, because I'm going for that minimalistik look, I think I'm really going to focus on getting the brand logo right and then use that as my design on the hoodie and the T-shirt. I spent an hour working in Photoshop after surfing the web to find the right fonts for my logo, and then went to printful and built out my product designs. alright, so I just finished and this is what the main logo looks like, and then the secondary logo with just the E. here are the four hoodie slash shirt designs that I have right now. now, although I like it a lot, what matters is if others like. so I asked some of my friends their thoughts. hey, this is pretty clean, I can't lie. nah, this ain't it, bro. it's terrible. I like the secondary logo best, but both are clean. so mixed reviews, but I'm on the right track for now. I'm gonna order some samples right now. then I can see the product for myself and take photos for the brand and make some custom product photos for the next several days. I worked on the store, not in a hurry because of the weight from the expensive samples I bought. I finished the store, finally, and I'm still waiting on the samples to arrive. but let's take a look at the home page. each product page is the same default one by printful. I mean you can't really put a fancy description or gifts or anything like that in the description for a t-shirt. the one thing that sucks is I don't have any reviews, and, as far as I know, you can't just take the reviews from printful, which, of course, would be ideal. I could make some custom reviews myself and, uh, fabricate something, but that's too much work for what it's worth. I think most people who come to my store already know what I'm doing, so for now I can only wait until the samples come. still patiently waiting, I was building up my antikipation for the initial launch because the YouTube video I made I knew would be a banger. the hoodie and t-shirt I ordered arrived earlier today, kind of wishing. I bought the samples for the other designs too. oh, that would have been a lot more money and since, by the way, we only have a 150 budget, it's already diminished enough. and these came in just in time for me to film and ad for my upcoming YouTube videos. it's gonna be uploaded tomorrow, so trying both of these on. first thing I notiked is I'm not as skinny as I used to be. apparently, besides the tightness, the materials are soft and comfortable. it's pretty good quality overall, so I'm sure that the customers will be satisfied with their purchase. I'm hyped for this initial launch. I found the ad for my video and then waited anxiously to see how many visitors I could get on publish today. so it's been over 24 hours since the video launched. the video is kind of going crazy, at least for my Channel's standards. now, as for the Shopify store, I got two edit cards and one reach at checkout off of 21 visitors on launched and today I got 46 visitors with no activity in the conversion codes. so pretty disappointing. now I know the store isn't the greatest because I haven't done custom photos or anything like that, but I don't think that's the reason they're not buying. to be honest, I'm not really sure what the reason might be, maybe the Design's kind of trash. my next video will be in two weeks, so until then I'll do a couple photo shoots, maybe make some new designs and maybe try to make some tik Tacs for a brand page over the next several days. I continue to watch my video in store get views, but no sales came through. then, near the end of the week, I finally got to the outdoor lifestyle photo shoot, so somehow I made it outside to not only touch some grass but to also take some photos with the t-shirt and the hoodie. this will be for my Instagram page and then they'll also be nice photos to add to the store to give it some character. I finished the shoot and then edited the photos up. I was in no real Rush here, even though the 30-day clock continued to take down down all right. right now I'm in my room and I'm gonna take some product photos to replace the stok ones from pretty. like I said a few days ago, it would be really nice to have bought all the designs so that I can make all the product photos the same style. but oh well, here we go. the second photo shoot was also a success. I edited those up and worked on the store over the next couple days. store has officially been revamped and Instagram posts have been done to fill out the feed. here's what the store looks like now with the updated photos and all that, and here's the Instagram profile. I think I chose the wrong career. I should have been a model, did you think? I definitely want to create some more designs, maybe launch those on some Instagram theme Pages or something like that. I'm just not sure the best way to really advertise where I don't throw my money away. YouTube video I uploaded is actually going crazy. I just did 10K subs and the previous on Pace to do 50k views in just a day or so. but, uh, no sales. yeah, not even that many store visitors. Well, for now, my eyes are locked in on my next video, which is going to be on Halloween. I spend the next few days editing the video up to make it perfect, and then the big day came. I was super nervous for both the performance of the video and the store. I hope it's. my persistence would pay off, but a few hours before the launch, so I finally just finished my video a day after wanting to get it out. as crazy as the video I posted two weeks ago is already at 80 000 views and I only got one sale. yes, sir, baby, I got that for sale, let's go. oh, no, man, y'all been tripping. I should have bought way more merch man, that's not what I'm saying. so it costs 20 and 16 cents for the shirt itself and shipping, so I only make like eight bucks profit. when people don't use the 10 off traffic code, it's really kind of a trash margin, but it is what it is. I went to sleep and didn't get any sale. this video didn't perform as I expected and I was baffled. I'm disappointed in the video because I put so much effort into it. in the views just aren't there. but I'm hyped that I got two more sales, one yesterday and one today- but I kind of didn't realize that the margin was so bad for the hoodies like I literally didn't even make a single gallon of gas in profits. hindsight, it's always 20- 20, but I definitely should have looked into that more when I chose my supplier. I could raise the prices some more or even charge for shipping, which would probably be the smarter option. it's just that they're already pretty expensive as it is already, but inflation. now for real, though. I'm Gonna Leave the prices as they are, but I'm gonna keep pushing ahead and DM some Instagram Pages. let's see if I can run a promotion on an entrepreneur theme page, really just for the heck of it, because we have some mone.

I Tried Shopify Dropshipping With NO MONEY For 1 Week

so in this video, i'm gonna start a brand new shopify drop shipping business and attempt to take it from zero dollars to over one thousand dollars in just one week. and i'm not going to be using any money for this challenge, and i know a lot of people think you can't start a drop shipping business without any money, but we're gonna prove them wrong in this video and i'll be starting the drop shipping business completely from scratch and walk you through the entire step-by-step process, and at the end of the video, i'll show you exactly how much money the business makes. honestly, i'm hoping it's gonna make over a thousand dollars, but we're just gonna have to wait and see. so i have a lot of stuff that i have to get done today, and the very first thing i want to do is just find a good product to sell, and then after that, i'm just going to find a good supplier. then i'm just going to create my online store with shopify and then after that, i'm going to start creating advertisements, and for this challenge, i'm basically going to be using pinterest, instagram and tiktok and just basically post viral videos on there for free. and yes, this method does work well, since i do use it on my current drop shipping businesses that make over six figures. okay. so the first thing i want to start by doing is trying to find a good product to sell and, honestly, as long as i can create viral videos with the product and it has high demand, it's something i can work with. and, honestly, i find about 99 of my viral products on tiktok, so i'm going to kind of show you my strategy and how you can do this yourself. so kind of what i do on tik tok is just search up tiktok made me buy it- then i'll just click on that little hamburger icon in the top right corner, then i'll just change the date posted to this month and now it's going to show you a bunch of relevant winning products that are selling right now. and some other hashtags you can do this with is amazon fines, drop shippers exposed and tiktok viral products. but anyways, i'm going to take the next 20 minutes to try to find some good products to sell and once i do find something, i'll come back and update you okay. so, honestly, i found a ton of really good products, but there is one that stood out to me the most, which is the cordless hair curler. and for anyone who doesn't know? the cordless hair curler is really convenient for females, since you can kind of touch up your hair anywhere you go, and there's so many stores on tiktok selling this product, so if they're doing well, i'm sure i can also do the same. all right. so the next thing i want to do is find a supplier that i can get the product from, and so for this video, i think i'm going to use spocket. so i found the cordless hair curler on spock it for 28 dollars and 30 cents, which is really good, and the shipping times are only seven to 14 business days, which is also ideal, and i think i'm gonna sell the product on my store for 59.99. now i've actually seen a lot of stores sign this product for over a hundred dollars, but because i do want to sell a lot of product in a short period of time and i don't want it to be too expensive, i think 59.99 is a good number to stik with, and if my customers do see that other stores are selling it for over a hundred dollars and i'm only selling it for a fraction of that cost, i'm sure they'd rather buy it from my store. now i do want to add one other product to my store, and i'm thinking just to make it an upsell. so, anyways, i found this heat protectant spray and i think it goes really well with the cordless hair curler, and i'm thinking to sell it on my store for 19.99, and it's only going to cost me eight dollars and 27 cents, which is pretty good, and if you do need a supplier for your drop shipping store, i'll leave a link for spock it in the description of this video. but, anyways, now i got the product, which i'm happy about, and so the next step now is to actually start building my shopify store, and i do want my store to look like an actual brand, and so it is going to take me a little bit of time to build it. so, anyways, i'm going to start working on the store right now and then i'll update you tomorrow once i'm done. all right, so it's the second day now and i finally finished the store and i made it look very simple and clean, and i'm going to show you the page that the customers get redirected to. so, anyways, i have different color options here, and i also did add a sales timer to create sense of urgency. i also included a ton of high quality photos, which is really important, and i also added this to build more trust with the customers. and if you scroll down here, you can see i put what's included in the package, then i tok about the benefits of buying the cordless hair curler, then i added some frequently asked questions and then i also do have a 30 day money back guarantee. a lot of customers won't buy your product if you don't have this, so make sure you do. and if you scroll down here, you can see that i did include how the cordless hair curler works, so this just makes it look really easy and straightforward. and all the way at the bottom of the page i did include some customer reviews. now, i obviously did import these reviews to my store, but usually i do have real customer reviews. but that's pretty much it for the store and i think it looks pretty good. but anyways, now that i'm done with my store, the next important thing i have to do is add a shopify app called after sell to my store, and the reason i'm going to use after sell is because it can increase my revenue anywhere from 10 to 15, which is exactly what i want. and afterstok is for post purchase upsells, and if you don't know what that is. it's basically when you offer a customer a product to purchase after they've already purchased something from your store. for example, after someone purchases the cordless hair curler from my store, i can then offer them another product to purchase. so in my case, i could upsell the heat protectant spray, since it works well with the cordless hair curler. and post purchase upsells work so well because if a customer just purchased something from your store, they're more likely to purchase another item, since you already built that initial trust, and you can even give them a really good discount on the upsell offer, which will then make them want to buy it even more. now, one thing you never want to do with upsells is actually offer them to the customer before they've made a purchase. this will just end up confusing them and they might not end up buying the product at all. but the good thing about after sell is that the upsell offer only comes after a customer makes a purchase, which is exactly what we want. but anyways, i'm actually going to create an upsell offer using after sale for my store right now and kind of walk you through the process step by step. okay, so the very first thing you want to do is go to the shopify app store and just search for after cell and it should come up. so it's going to look like this: after sell, post purchase, upsell. so let's add the app. okay, so once you're in after sale, the first thing you want to do is click here on enable settings. then it's going to bring you to the shopify page. so just make sure you click on after cell, then just click on save. okay, back here, let's just refresh the page. okay, now the first thing we want to do is actually just set up our first funnel. click here on create and i'm just going to name this funnel: heat protectant. so here i want to click show this funnel to all customers. since i only do have one upsell product. okay, now i'm going to choose the upsell product and basically what i'm going to be upselling is this heat protectant spray. now, the cool thing here is, if the customer actually does end up purchasing this product, you can offer them another upsell, and if they decline this product, then you can offer them a downsell. now, since i don't have any other products, i'm just going to keep it like this, but you can add products in here. now. next thing i want to How I Started a Clothing Brand with $0 in 7 Days

i'm gonna try to start a clothing brand with no money in seven days. i'll be taking you through the entire process, from designing to manufacturing to advertising, and at the end of this video i'll show exactly how much money i make. one of the first things to figure out when starting a clothing brand, or really any kind of business, is the customer: who is going to buy our clothes. in such a saturated market like clothing, it's very important to niche down and find that specific target audience that you're going to sell to. i think i found a good one: car drifting enthusiast. dream. what do you mean dream? [Applause]? car enthusiasts love to share their passion for cars. they tok about them all the time they like showing off their cars. i'm thinking menu would also wear a clothing brand that shares the same passion. to niche down, i've decided to focus on drifting culture. let's build this brand. today is day two and let me show you what i've come up with. my clothing brand is drift club. it's a lifestyle brand that celebrates drifting and its values, aesthetik and legacy. here are a couple of designs that i made for the clothing. you can see that i'm going with sleek and minimalistik look. i think they look pretty good. so let's get into manufacturing. but how the heck do i manufacture clothes with no money? by using print on demand. print on demand is a process where you get a company to print custom products and clothing for you only when the order is made. no upfront payment, no need to hold inventory. if you don't even need to handle packaging and shipping, they do it all for you under your brand. the print on demand service i'll be using is printful. on their website you can find a whole bunch of products you can print custom designs on and customize with their design maker tool. you can upload photos, add text and print on various areas like the back, sleeves and even the inside label. printful actually lets you order samples and even gives you a discount, but the issue is i have no money, so i can't really order samples. tiknically, i could just choose a shirt and sell it without ever touching it, but i feel it'd be a bit disingenuous to sell a product that i haven't personally reviewed. so i think i have an idea okay. so i just got in contact with printful and they said they're actually going to sponsor this video and send me samples for free. big shout out to printful, and link is in the description below if you want to check them out again. i could have just skipped the samples and went straight to selling, but i want to show you guys the whole building a clothing brand process. let's order those sounds. they've arrived. here are all of the seven samples i ordered for this clothing brand launch. i want to start with a small collection of just three pieces so it's focused and doesn't overwhelm the customer with too many choices. i'm now going to review the different blanks and designs with you and let's see which will make the top three. i ordered two types of hoodies. the first is the cotton heritage m2580. i love the quality and thickness of this hoodie. seriously feels premium. however, i'm not a big fan of these drawstrings. they're really wide and the whole looks pretty big. the second hoodie i got is the hanes p170. this one is a great fit. love the drawstrings and how its color matches the hoodie. it's a bit thinner compared to the cotton heritage, but it's not too thin and still has a good feel to it. i also ordered two types of t-shirts. the first is the bella and canvas 301: great athletik fit, really soft, a bit thin though. the second t-shirt i got is the cotton heritage mc1086, which feels amazing. it's soft, thick and has a great weight to it. the only thing i dislike is the length, which for tall people shouldn't be a problem, but i'm 5'6 so it's a bit long for me. now for the designs. all of these are dtg or directed garment prints, which is the tiknique that uses a printer to print designs onto the garment. printful also offers embroidery and all-over printing as well. the printing quality is great, so no problems there. i'm just debating on whether to go with the designs with cars on them or designs with just the brand logo. i'm thinking, since it's the first collection, let's keep it clean and simple with just the logo. maybe later on i can bring in more images and visuals. and so we've got our top three onto taking some product photos. it's day four. today we're making our website. to make my website, i'll be using wix and their 14 day free trial. i'm making sure mine aligns with drift club's identity in terms of the color palette, imagery, font and copy. i actually made a whole in-depth tutorial on how i set up my online store using wix. if you're interested, check it out. in the description below i'm now adding my products to my wix site. what's great with printful is that is integrated with a lot of ecommerce platforms like wix, shopify and squarespace, and that makes it easy to add products to my store and manage orders and building. for the clothes i'll be using photos i shot during my photo shoot as well as the mock-up photos generated by printful, which seriously look great and very professional. let's tok pricing and numbers. i'm gonna be pricing the hoodies at 49.99. it costs 27.90 to print, which means i would make 22.9 profit per sale and have a 44 profit margin. for the t-shirt, i'm going to be pricing it at 29.99. it costs 20.90 to print, which means i would make 9.9 profit per sale and have a 30 profit margin. i will say the t-shirt blank i'm using is a bit more on the expensive side, but i think the quality is just too good not to use. i'm willing to earn less on t-shirts to ensure customer satisfaction. on top of manufacturing costs, they're also shipping fees and taxes, though the customer typically pays for it. i'm personally going to give free shipping to orders over 35 to the us, uk or canada to hopefully incentivize more purchases. other than that, all labor, storage and packaging costs are taken care of by printful. it's day five. everything is ready to go now. what's the plan for advertising? because i have zero dollars for ads and only seven days to launch this clothing brand. i'm gonna use all of my resources and leverage the following that i have on tiktok to sell these clothes. i get this all the time. everyone says that i'm dk from tokyo drift and that's because i am drift king on tiktok. i am not the jetson on youtube, i am drift king where i react to drifting videos and fool the internet into thinking i'm in fast and furious tokyo drift. can this baby lens jump with the pot walking machine gonna wash the end to find out, baby. okay, one thing i do not like about this guy is that he calls himself the drift king and he reacts to people drifting. now a big portion of my audience kind of disliked me. i'm afraid i have a slight disconnect with my audience. that won't translate well into clothing sales. but there's only one way to find out. let's film some tiktoks drifting style baby. oh, my plan is to upload tiktoks over the last few days in this challenge. hopefully we can make a few sales by tomorrow. does driftking have merch? i do now. oh, drift club merch is out right now. we got t-shirts, we got hoodies. it's day six and i haven't checked my tiktok or sales all day. let's see how many views my tik tok videos have gone. oh, we hit a couple tens of thousands of views. that's pretty good. it's around what i usually get on tiktok, which is great. however, the views aren't the most important number here. the most important number are the number of clothes i've sold, and i've sold zero. yeah, this is the right number. it's okay, gotta stay patient. i still have tomorrow, though. uh, not gonna lie, i'm feeling a bit nervous on the top of my head. i can think of two things where i could have improved on or done differently. the first is that i could have made better tiktoks. the ones i made are getting views, but i probably could have mentioned the brand valleys more or features the clothes better. the second thing- and i think that's probably the main culprit- is that i sh

what's up, but it's rob. this is apparel success, and in this video here, i want to share with you how my drop shipping clothing brand works, all of the little details around, the whole process of how everything is managed through me, and i think this video is really going to show you a lot in case you ever want to run your clothing brand the same way that i am here. it is [Music]. apparel success project on design crowd. all right, so the way that my clothing brand used to work is: i used to order all of the blank clothing for my clothing brand through suppliers like t-shirtca- which is a great resource, by the way- and hs apparel used to supply me with my hoodies- just different places that i'd ordered the blank clothing from for my clothing brand and then i'd order that clothing to a screen printing facility who would print all of my clothing, and then i'd have that company- the screen printing facility- ship it all to my place where i'd go and pick it up, okay, and then from there i would organize all the inventory that i received. i'd shelve it all, i'd count it all and then, whenever orders would come in, i'd fulfill all the orders and have people come over and help me fulfill all the orders and things like that. completely different nowadays, and i want to walk you through what it looks like nowadays. the way that it works now is i get all of my clothing made through the same place and i get it made through a company in toronto called avid apparel. they're not paying me to promote them, but i'm going to anyways because i think they're an awesome company and basically this company supplies me with all the blank clothing. they print it all, they bag it all, they barcode it all. they basically do everything from start to finish in the whole creation process of each of my products. so this really saves me a lot in shipping costs in time, because i'm not having to order the blanks and get them made from another place. i'm getting it all done through the same place. okay, so this company handles all their production for my clothing brand right now, other than a few hats and a few little promotional items and accessories and things like that that they just don't do, and basically i get them to ship all of the inventory that i have made basically next door to my fulfillment center that i work with that is in toronto, ontario as well. so you know the shipping costs from avid apparel to my fulfillment center, which is called lickety-split- another free promo there for you- um, is really cheap because they they're so close together. so get everything made at avid apparel, get it all shipped to lickety-split and lickety-split, the fulfillment company that i'm using, basically receives it all, organizes it all, shelves it all, and they get it all ready to start fulfilling orders, where they also fulfill all the orders for my clothing brand that i make through my website and all of the inventory is directly recorded through the shopify website and all of the returns, all the exchanges, all of the communication that needs to be done with me in the fulfillment center happens directly on shopify underneath each of the orders that are being made. so, say, if a customer places an order and they put in the wrong address or something like that, and they email me. then i can basically just tag my fulfillment center underneath the order, say: hey, this, this customer just wanted to change their address. boom, i just changed it and we all communicate through this shopify order section- i guess you'd call it that- and this has worked really, really well so far. okay, like unbelievably streamlined. now they charge me right around three dollars to pack every order and to ship every order out, and you might be thinking that that sounds like a lot. but here's how this extra fee that my fulfillment center charges me doesn't really add to any losses at all for my clothing brand. i've basically tied in to all the shipping costs for my clothing brand. so anytime somebody places an order through my website it automatikally goes through the carrier, canada post, to get the price of how much that would cost and then i just add on a handling fee that is tied into the shipping costs to cover all the fulfillment costs. so basically the customer's paying for all the shipping because tiknically, them fulfilling the order and sending it out is also a part of the shipping and there's no loss at the end of the day to be working with a fulfillment center like this. and you know, i wish i could share more with you here in terms of the little details and things that are really specific and complicated, but it's honestly just that simple and it doesn't need to be any more complicated than that. the human mind really tends to want to complicate things more than it needs to be, and it's really been a smooth process for me setting it up this way. so what it used to look like was me handling all the inventory, handling all the orders, having to deal with shipments from one supplier to my, to my screen printer, then going and picking it up or managing when i'm gonna receive it when they ship it to me. dozens of giant boxes of clothing that i had to unpack and sort through all all by myself and have people over, and now all of that is gone. i don't have to do any of that anymore, and what i'm doing is tiknically considered drop shipping for my clothing brand, working through a fulfillment center like the one that i am now. the beauty part here is that i'm really close with the owner of the fulfillment center, and so we have a good relationship and we're really close text call all the time, basically working together like a team, which i'm sure, not a lot of clothing brands who are doing drop shipping have, but you can develop that fairly easily if you really want to and you really want to put in the effort to get your clothing brand to work this way. so i thought i figured i'd share that with you, in case some of you are interested in exactly how it all works in my own clothing brand. i hope that gives you some sort of ideas in terms of how you can run the structure of your own clothing brand moving forward. i didn't want to hire people and have people come over all the time and have to handle the inventory anymore and send out all the orders- thousands of orders i fulfilled with my own hands, you know- and it just gets annoying. i just didn't want to do it anymore and it was also just taking away so much of my time to focus on my brand and do the things that i'm good at. [Music]. hello everyone, i'm lyron from auto ds and in this video, i'm going to show you how you can start your own close drop shipping business, and a successful one at it. we're going to tap into how to start a drop shipping business into the close fashion niche, and then i'm also going to show you what are some of the best suppliers that you can work with to get the best clothes products for your store, and i'm also going to go over the best products that you can sell today in the clothes and fashion niche. so what are the best clothes that we can sell, since it's such a vast and general category? so, without further ado, let's jump straight into the action and one second before that, don't forget to subscribe to our youtube channel to always stay updated on all of the latest and all of the hottest topics that we have coming out in the world of dropshipping. having said that, let's go ahead and begin. how do we start drop shipping close? where do we start and how do we do it correctly to maintain and build a profitable drop shipping business? so, first things first, why even dropship close in the first place? well, first of all, you should always be selling in a niche that you are interested in. but having an interest in a certain niche is usually never enough. we have to make sure that there is a big market, a big demand for these products, before we tap into it and start researching for products. so how do we know if close is even a profitable category? how do we know that there is enough room for us in the market? this graph right here from common thread shows you the annual revenue in sales in the apparel market in billions. so, for example, last year, in 2021, the apparel market sold almost 370 billion dollars in revenue. in 2022, which is this year, it's forecasted to sell at 385 billion dollars, and next year it's going to continue growing to 397. and, of course, it will continue increasing year by year, just as we're used to in the e-commerce market. you also have good stats from other good sources, like statista, showing you how the clothes industry, how the fashion industry is increasing year by year. so of course there's room to jump in, and what better time than now? by the way, everything that i'm going over in this video, you can read about it in a full blog artikle, which i will leave a link to right below this video. so what are the steps to starting, creating, running and maintaining a successful and profitable close dropshipping business? these are the steps that we need to take. step number one: we need to identify a niche. so the clothes or the fashion industry is a very, very general niche. we're going to have to narrow that down and find some best sellers, some products that can sell today, that have high demand, which i will get to soon in this video. but step number one is identifying a niche. step number two: we need to choose clothing products to sell. since once we identified our niche in step number one, now we need to find which products we want to add from that niche to our dropshipping stores. step number three: we need to find a reliable drop shipping supplier. and it kind of comes with step number two: in order to find clothing products that you want to sell, you need to find suppliers who can actually sell them. so you, you tapped into your niche. you found whatever products you want to sell inside that niche. now we have to find suppliers that actually have those products that you can resell. step number four: we need to choose a selling platform, because up until now, we toked about products and how we're gonna get them and where we're gonna get them from, but now we need some place to sell it on, and that is what the selling channel is good for. step number five: we need to choose an automation software now that we need to start listing our products and actually create our online store. we also want to be able to scale our dropshipping business and not limit ourselves to a certain number of tasks per day, which will always limit us from growing and expanding our dropshipping empires. step number six: we're going to list our products now that we know what products we're going to sell and we have our drop shipping suppliers who can sell those products to us which we will sell to our end customers. and, of course, we have our selling channel, so we know what platform we're gonna use to sell these products on. now it's time to actually list those products. step number seven: we're going to learn how to market our clothing store, and that is because, now that we have our products listed on our stores, does anybody even know that our store exists? does anybody even know that we have products in our stores that are actually looking to buy? most likely, the answer to this question will be no. nobody knows that your store exists, although it does depend on what selling channel you are using. we're going to tok about all of that, but in any case, this is the part where we have to get our brands known and get traffic directly to our store so we can make those sales and profit. step number eight will be fulfilling our orders, because now we marketed our products, our stores exists. we did a great job on product research. now we're finally hitting those sales and we need to actually fulfill our orders. we got paid by our buyers on our online stores. now we're going to need to fulfill those orders and send those products to our buyers. step number nine: we're gonna learn how to provide excellent customer service, because, after we make orders on our stores, every now and then customers will reach out to us and either ask a simple question- maybe they'll want to return the product for a refund or replacement- or maybe they just want to reach out and ask something very simple, or maybe even ask for a promotion, because they want to buy from your store again. for whatever the reason, we want to provide the best customer service that we can, and that is what we're going to learn in step number nine. and then in step number 10, we're going to keep track and learn to analyze our stores so that we can continue making sales and profit and multiply our success and learn to scale. those are the 10 steps that we are going to go over in in this video and those are the steps that you need to take to run, build and maintain a high converting and successful drop shipping business in the close and fashion industry. so let's go ahead and begin with step number one, which is identify a niche. now, while close or fashion is the main general niche here, we're still going to need to narrow that down and find micro niches that are selling well inside this big, vast general niche. for example, you can look for things like women's dresses, winter gloves, gym wear and so forth. all of these are micro niches inside the fashion and clothes main general niche. now, the way to do that is with extensive product research and one of the best things about the drop shipping business model is that you can continue testing products over and over, and over and over and over and keep replacing the slow movers, replace them with new products that you want to test and, of course, multiply your success by adding more products that are similar to those that are selling for you. but in the beginning, before you start making sales, you can continue testing new products and replacing those slow movers because you're not investing in any inventory, which is one of the best things about the drop shipping business model. it's very easy to test the market and continue testing more and more until you start finding those that start selling for you. so first you want to identify a niche by going to suppliers websites, which i will go over soon, tapping into their clothes and fashion categories and going into

if you've always wanted to start your very own online fashion boutique, you probably think that you need thousands of upfront investment, but today i'm going to be showing you a supplier that will allow you to drop ship amazing fashion items that are completely custom branded to your own brand, and you needed a very small upfront investment, and this is the exact supplier that i've been using for my online bikini store at thewavedonestopcom. so the supplier that we will be looking at today is called fondmartcom, and this is an online supplier for thousands of women's fashion products and, like i said, you can go and drop ship them with your own brand, so you can have custom branded packaging, custom branded tags, custom branded poly mailers- so all of the products will be completely unique to your brand. so you just need to head over to fonmartcom and from here you can go and sign up as a drop shipper. so over here you will see i am a dropshipper, so all you need to do is go and click on this now. of course, you will need a shopify or a woocommerce store to start, so make sure you have signed up for a shopify store or you've created a woocommerce store in order to do this, so all you need to do is go and click on. i am a drop shipper now from here. all you need to do is click on get started. so once you click on this, you will be asked to create a fonmart account. then you will come into your fond mart dashboard. so the first thing you need to do is go and connect your store. so where it says shopify, all you need to do is just click on add store. or you can go to woocommerce and click on add store so you can see over here i've already authorized my store. it only takes a few minutes. once you click on add store, then you just have to go and grant your shopify or woocommerce store the permissions so that it can go and be connected to fond mart. so once you have gone and connected your store, you can go and have a look at the thousands of different products that you can go and add to your store. so if we just go back to fonmar over here, we can go to women over here and you can see that they've got loads of different categories that you can choose from. so they've got dresses, tops, bottoms, outerwear, jumpsuits, they've got swimwear. they've got all different types of products that you can go and sell with your custom brand. so if we just go to dresses, for example, and then we just go over to a line dress, let's just say, for example, and we can go and find loads of different products over here that you can go and add to your store. so let's just go and choose this product over here, for example, and once you go and click on a product, you can go and see the shipping times. so font mark ships completely worldwide and they have super fast shipping times. so if you wanted to start an online boutique, you don't have to go and use crappy products from aliexpress, because you can go and ship items really fast and their items are really high quality. so once you have found a product that you might want to sell on your store, all you need to do is click on add to import list so, as you can see, this product will be delivered within 10 to 16 days to the united states. so that's about two or three weeks quicker than any product that you might want to drop ship from aliexpress and, like i said, you can drop ship them with your own custom brand. once you have added the product to your import list, all you need to do is go to my account and then you go to import list. now, from here you can go and change the title of the product. you can go and add a description, you can go and choose which variants you want to go and add to your store and from here you can go and choose the price that you want to sell it on your store. so you can see, over here i'm going to make seven dollars on this product. but i can come over to price over here and let's just go and say if we was to change this to 26.99 and if we go and hit enter over here and then you can see we're going to make 14 on this product. you can also then go and choose which images you want to be added to your store. so i recommend just to go and add all of the images and then, once you have done that, all you need to do is just click on import to store and then that product will be pushed into your shopify or your woocommerce store and it will be visible on your store. so if we just go over to my store over here, we can see we've got some of these plus size bikini products that i've already started adding to my store and i think they look really great. now, once an order has been made through your shopify or your woocommerce store, you just need to head back to fond mart and then all you need to do is just go to drop shipping orders. so as soon as an order is made on your shopify or woocommerce store, it will come through to this area of your fond mart account and then all you need to do is just go and hit order over here and then you can go and check out with paypal or with credit card, or you can go and add a balance to your fundamart account. so this makes the whole process super automated and easy to manage. now, if you want the products to be drop shipped with custom poly mailers, with custom bags and custom tags, all you need to do is just go over to private label service and from here you can go and purchase those in bulk with a small investment. so you can see i've added hang tags and plastik packaging bags to my account. so if you go to customize my label, you can go and choose what you want. so you can go and choose these hang tags. you can go and choose woven labels which will actually be woven into the products themselves. you can go and choose these plastik bags which the products will be sent in. you can go and choose some shipping bags and you can also go and choose thank you cards. so you can see, i've just chosen these plastik mailer bags like this and they've got my logo on, so if i just bring that a little bit closer, you should be able to see that. so that's completely branded to my store. now, if we have a look at one of the products themselves, you can see i've got these hang tags on once again with my logo. so this is a completely branded experience, even though you are actually drop shipping these products, and the products are super great quality. so i have sent them out to an influencer on youtube and she's done a review on one of them and she actually really loved the quality of these products. and this is a really great way to start marketing your online boutique by just going and sending out some of these products. they're super affordable and you can send them out to loads of different influencers on instagram, on tiktok, on youtube. get them to go and review the products and this is how you can actually build some momentum with your online boutique and because the products ship really fast and because they are completely branded to your store, nobody actually knows that you're even drop shipping. so you will need around 350 of investment to actually go and do this. but you can initially start just by drop shipping the products. so if you drop ship them without the custom packaging, they are just blind drop shipped, which means there'll be no fan mark branding on the products, they'll just be plain. once you actually start making some sales, then you can go and invest that 350 into the custom packaging so that you have your completely custom branded online boutique. now one other thing to mention about fonmart is that you do get your own private service manager, so that's someone that can help you out with all of the orders and the tracking and things like that. so all of the tracking numbers come through and then you can go and send them directly out to your customers. but if there is ever anything wrong with the product or maybe the wrong product got sent out to the customer and they're asking for a refund, then you can go and tok to your private service manager through the fond mart dashboard and they can actually go and help you out with this. so this makes the customer service side of running your.
