Hey, what's going on guys? It's Joe and Kevin here at the Simplicity factory. We're excited to give you a behind-the-scenes tour of how we make our clothing. From sewing to cutting, we'll show you the entire process and how you can be a part of Simplicity with our drop-shipping program.

Factory Tour:

- Samples: We have four samples in this section that are going out for images or have come back. Some of the styles are ones we're thinking of bringing up but haven't put on the website yet.

- Goals: We have daily, monthly, six-month, and yearly goals written down on our whiteboard. We cross them out as we achieve them and put up new goals. Becoming more organized has made a big difference for us.

- Markings: In this room, we have all the markings, which are big rolls of paper that have all the sizes needed to make the cut. We'll explain more about markings when we go to the cutting room.

- Sewing room: This is where all the clothes are shown for Simplicity and our private label customers. It's very loud in here because the machines are running.

- Fabric: We're going into the fall season, so it's a busy time for us. We have about 150 new styles coming to the website soon. We mainly use 95% rayon and 5% spandex for our jerseys, but we also have velvet, lace, and thermals.

- Patterns: This is where we hang up all the patterns for the different sizes and shapes of the items. We make a sample, have a model try it on, and make changes as needed before it gets approved.

- Factory: It's hot and not very glamorous, but this is where the cutting and making of the clothing happens.

- Drop-shipping program: We have a link below for those interested in our program. We want to make it easy for you to sell as much as possible and have same-day shipping, fold the clothes nicely, and take all the inventory risk. We price our items low so you can make a profit.

- We ordered samples of the All Style tee and ended up ordering all of our t-shirts directly from All Style.

Working With Suppliers:

- We worked with a screen printing facility called Astro Screen Printing, who would print on the t-shirts and put our labels on them.

- We found this process a little too inefficient and ended up working with another company called Avid Apparel.

- Avid Apparel supplies all the shirts, prints on them, does the labeling, and offers customization options.

- The process is much more efficient now, and we can get everything done in one place.

The Process:

- We email Avid Apparel a mock-up of the product we want to make.

- They create sales orders that show us exactly what the product will look like when it's finished printing and how much each item costs.

- We pay for the t-shirts, printing, and custom labels.

- Avid Apparel makes the product and sends it to our fulfillment center in Toronto.

- The process is smooth and efficient.

- Finding the right manufacturers and suppliers can be a challenge, but it's essential to the success of your clothing brand.
