01:14.5 01:18.0 percent there's people sitting on the
01:15.9 01:20.1 beach right now doing drop shipping
01:18.0 01:22.1 making lots of money secondly how much
01:20.1 01:24.5 do you need to start you're not really
01:22.1 01:26.0 investing money in upfront inventory so
01:24.5 01:27.8 all you need to do is worrying about
01:26.0 01:30.2 your customer acquisition cost in the
01:27.8 01:32.4 first instance the absolute bare minimum
01:30.2 01:34.6 that you're gonna need is a domain and a
01:32.4 01:36.8 shopify subscription which is basically
01:34.6 01:38.6 about fifty dollars there are however
01:36.8 01:41.0 costs if you wanna drive advertising
01:38.6 01:42.4 through paid channels but there are
01:41.0 01:45.0 other ways that you can drive traffic
01:42.4 01:47.1 such as seo or organic social another
01:45.0 01:49.2 common question is why don't customers
01:47.1 01:51.4 just buy this product on aliexpress
01:49.2 01:53.5 themselves truth is they could if they
01:51.4 01:55.6 knew how to navigate aliexpress but it's
01:53.5 01:57.6 a really really bad user experience and
01:55.6 01:59.8 there's some really bad actors with the
01:57.6 02:02.1 suppliers your job as a branded drop
01:59.8 02:04.4 shipping store is to really control the
02:02.1 02:06.3 customer experience you're controlling
02:04.4 02:07.8 the communication around the product the
02:06.3 02:10.2 marketing around the product also you're
02:07.8 02:12.4 ensuring a level of quality from your
02:10.2 02:14.2 supplier and a level of service
02:12.4 02:16.1 eventually you can go into developing
02:14.2 02:18.2 your product and customizing it in ways
02:16.1 02:20.3 that don't exist in the market today's
02:18.2 02:21.9 guide is going to be a complete a to z
02:20.3 02:23.6 you don't need to buy any courses i'm
02:21.9 02:25.3 gonna have all of the information some

02:39.2 02:42.7 product on it and people would just try
02:40.6 02:44.6 to get residual sales just from driving
02:42.7 02:46.7 traffic now it's much more about
02:44.6 02:48.6 building a really strong brand that
02:46.7 02:50.2 people can connect with all righty now
02:48.6 02:54.0 it's time to jump in our computer and
02:50.2 02:54.0 start our product research phase
02:55.2 02:58.6 selecting your product for your drop
02:56.6 03:01.1 shipping store is the most important
02:58.6 03:03.1 step even the best marketer in the world
03:01.1 03:04.8 is going to struggle to sell a bad
03:03.1 03:06.3 product if you hit a winning product
03:04.8 03:08.6 you're going to find success very very
03:06.3 03:10.7 quickly even if you do stuff up a few of
03:08.6 03:12.6 the other steps in this video the key
03:10.7 03:14.6 things when looking for a product is
03:12.6 03:17.4 making sure it has a really passionate
03:14.6 03:19.8 niche niches are things like golfing or
03:17.4 03:21.6 camping or fitness or sleep these things
03:19.8 03:23.8 are massive categories with huge fan
03:21.6 03:26.3 bases the second thing is making sure
03:23.8 03:28.0 that it solves a problem for this niche
03:26.3 03:29.5 the third factor that you really need to
03:28.0 03:31.6 make sure that you're looking out for is
03:29.5 03:34.2 making sure the product isn't completely
03:31.6 03:36.7 saturated if all the department stores
03:34.2 03:38.6 have your product and it's on amazon for
03:36.7 03:40.4 really really cheap chances are
03:38.6 03:42.3 customers aren't going to buy from you
03:40.4 03:43.8 even if you put a really good facebook
03:42.3 03:45.5 ad up i'm going to jump in and start
03:43.8 03:47.8 showing you a variety of tools that can
03:45.5 03:49.9 help you find a product to launch the
03:47.8 03:52.4 first method that i do recommend which
03:49.9 03:54.2 is completely free is just going on to
03:52.4 03:55.9 facebook when you're on facebook you can
03:54.2 03:58.5 simply scroll down until you start
03:55.9 04:00.5 seeing ads as you can see here's a
03:58.5 04:03.2 sponsored ad on facebook
04:00.5 04:04.6 this is actually my product um and you
04:03.2 04:07.4 couldn't drop ship this product because
04:04.6 04:09.0 it's too big you need to use 3pl but
04:07.4 04:10.6 just keep scrolling until something
04:09.0 04:12.5 catches your eyes
04:10.6 04:14.8 you really want something that is has a
04:12.5 04:16.2 bit of a wow factor has a bit of a
04:14.8 04:18.1 visual element
04:16.2 04:19.7 that captures attention so i've been
04:18.1 04:21.4 scrolling down a bit and this is
04:19.7 04:23.5 definitely a drop shipping ad you can
04:21.4 04:26.0 see by the the format of the ad
04:23.5 04:28.4 basically it's washing fruit to get rid
04:26.0 04:30.5 of pesticides and other bacteria
04:28.4 04:32.5 so we can just click onto this website
04:30.5 04:34.2 and learn a little bit more about their
04:32.5 04:36.1 product you can generally tell that it's
04:34.2 04:39.1 a drop shipping store if it's got you
04:36.1 04:41.2 know relatively limited design but we
04:39.1 04:43.7 can go and try to find this product on
04:41.2 04:45.6 say alibaba and aliexpress it's really
04:43.7 04:47.2 important you understand alibaba and
04:45.6 04:49.2 aliexpress and i'll just give you a
04:47.2 04:52.2 little bit of a summary now aliexpress
04:49.2 04:55.1 is generally more orientated around drop
04:52.2 04:59.4 shipping and quick shipping times
04:55.1 05:01.7 alibaba is more around massive suppliers
04:59.4 05:05.6 that can custom brand your product and
05:01.7 05:07.0 higher moq's moq stand for minimum order
05:05.6 05:08.7 quantities obviously if you're just
05:07.0 05:10.5 getting started you want really low
05:08.7 05:12.4 minimum order quantities because you
05:10.5 05:14.0 don't want to invest too much money up
05:12.4 05:15.4 front that being said it is really
05:14.0 05:17.2 important that you when you're finding
05:15.4 05:19.0 products you check both because
05:17.2 05:21.6 sometimes aliexpress suppliers are just
05:19.0 05:23.5 more expensive and the alibaba suppliers
05:21.6 05:24.9 are still happy to work with you so if i
05:23.5 05:27.3 wanted to find this product on
05:24.9 05:29.7 aliexpress i'll just go to aliexpress
05:27.3 05:32.2 and then i just search a keyword that is
05:29.7 05:35.8 similar to this product here
05:32.2 05:39.8 which is pesticide purifier or
05:35.8 05:39.8 probably fruit wash of my work
05:40.3 05:44.5 and you can see this is the product
05:42.4 05:46.2 right here let me just compare fruit
05:44.5 05:47.8 vegetable washing machine so you can
05:46.2 05:50.2 scroll down and see some other
05:47.8 05:52.2 variations of this product i'll just
05:50.2 05:54.8 show you how we can also probably find
05:52.2 05:57.6 the product with alibaba i actually find
05:54.8 05:59.2 alibaba has more options than aliexpress
05:57.6 06:01.1 there's a lot more commercial products
05:59.2 06:03.4 actually on alibaba that you probably
06:01.1 06:05.4 wouldn't um get on aliexpress and you
06:03.4 06:07.4 can see it's on alibaba as well probably
06:05.4 06:09.0 not the best price
06:07.4 06:12.1 basically all you need to do now is
06:09.0 06:14.4 click around and compare the prices now
06:12.1 06:16.0 what you can do is we've got our example
06:14.4 06:18.2 drop shipping store which this person
06:16.0 06:21.0 seems to be selling it for you can come
06:18.2 06:23.6 here and you can see on their ad that
06:21.0 06:26.5 they don't have that much social proof
06:23.6 06:29.4 now what social proof means is a large
06:26.5 06:32.1 amount of likes or comments
06:29.4 06:34.5 the more comments and likes they have
06:32.1 06:36.5 is the more paid advertising they put
06:34.5 06:38.6 behind that ad
06:36.5 06:40.3 so basically they've spent more behind
06:38.6 06:42.6 the ad because they're making profit on
06:40.3 06:44.4 it so therefore it's accumulated more
06:42.6 06:46.2 comments if something has over a
06:44.4 06:48.5 thousand likes or comments on it
06:46.2 06:50.6 depending on the product chances are
06:48.5 06:52.6 that it is making a fair few sales this
06:50.6 06:53.8 site considering it's quite limited and
06:52.6 06:56.0 there's not a huge amount of social
06:53.8 06:57.9 proof on this ad i would still need to
06:56.0 06:59.8 do more of a research process to be
06:57.9 07:01.2 confident that these guys are scaling
06:59.8 07:03.8 that being said they're selling the
07:01.2 07:06.3 product for about 99 and it seems like
07:03.8 07:08.2 we can find the product for around 32
07:06.3 07:10.5 which to be honest
07:08.2 07:12.4 feels quite expensive considering the
07:10.5 07:14.5 product i guess it's waterproof and it
07:12.4 07:16.4 looks like it has leds so that kind of
07:14.5 07:18.6 makes sense so if i wanted to continue
07:16.4 07:20.1 with this free method what i would do is
07:18.6 07:22.2 i would just keep scrolling through my
07:20.1 07:24.4 facebook feed and trying to find ads
07:22.2 07:26.2 with high social proof i would then
07:24.4 07:28.5 compare what they're selling the product
07:26.2 07:30.3 for and then also
07:28.5 07:32.3 what the supplier could sell the product
07:30.3 07:35.0 for to find what's called our
07:32.3 07:37.7 contribution margin or how much
07:35.0 07:40.2 profit we can make per sale
07:37.7 07:42.5 the more profit we can make per sale is
07:40.2 07:45.0 the more that we can spend on ads which
07:42.5 07:46.2 is really really important to understand
07:45.0 07:47.9 these are the things that we need to
07:46.2 07:49.8 start thinking about when we're picking
07:47.9 07:52.0 our product the other method that you
07:49.8 07:55.0 can do to find new products is go onto
07:52.0 07:56.8 ticktop tiktok has so many good products
07:55.0 07:59.8 out there and all you need to do is go
07:56.8 08:01.2 into the search bar and said tik tok
07:59.8 08:02.0 made me
08:01.2 08:04.2 buy
08:02.0 08:04.2 it
08:04.4 08:09.2 be good if i could spell buy and now
08:06.2 08:12.3 we've got a ton of drop shipping options
08:09.2 08:13.8 this levitating moon scaled like crazy a
08:12.3 08:15.5 year ago
08:13.8 08:17.6 and you can just really get a touch and
08:15.5 08:19.7 feel for the products that are super
08:17.6 08:21.6 visual now tick tock ads are performing
08:19.7 08:23.3 very very well at the moment and maybe
08:21.6 08:25.3 we'll overtake facebook over the next
08:23.3 08:27.0 couple of years so it's great to find a
08:25.3 08:28.3 product that lends itself to tiktok
08:27.0 08:30.2 because chances are it's also going to
08:28.3 08:31.9 lend itself quite well to facebook
08:30.2 08:34.2 alrighty so if you do have a little bit
08:31.9 08:37.0 of money to invest in the research
08:34.2 08:39.0 process i do recommend a couple of tours
08:37.0 08:41.4 so you can come to my tool trend rocket

09:04.2 09:08.1 this one and we can head to its products
09:06.3 09:10.2 and see a list of its products that it's
09:08.1 09:12.7 selling you can see it's got a water
09:10.2 09:14.6 resistant couch protector then next step
09:12.7 09:16.2 we can do is we can actually go and
09:14.6 09:18.5 understand how much traffic they're
09:16.2 09:21.3 driving to their store to really get a
09:18.5 09:23.0 good feel is this product scaling we can
09:21.3 09:25.4 do that also by checking out their
09:23.0 09:28.1 facebook ads and seeing their ad level
09:25.4 09:29.9 sophistication you can also go to that
09:28.1 09:31.8 overview tab and look at how their
09:29.9 09:34.4 growth is going if they've got more
09:31.8 09:36.4 growth with their facebook likes or even
09:34.4 09:38.4 their reviews like trustpilot and
09:36.4 09:40.4 facebook chances are they're scaling a
09:38.4 09:42.2 brand really successfully the other tool
09:40.4 09:45.0 that you can use to find really good
09:42.2 09:46.9 drop shipping products is e-com hon
09:45.0 09:48.4 you can come here and basically they
09:46.9 09:50.6 give you a whole range of products that
09:48.4 09:51.8 are ready to dropship
09:50.6 09:53.8 they give you the profits that are
09:51.8 09:55.6 analytics and everything so basically we
09:53.8 09:57.0 can come into here and they give you the
09:55.6 09:58.7 entire profit margin which i've been
09:57.0 10:00.6 talking about a little bit you can then
09:58.7 10:02.7 click here see on aliexpress and it will
10:00.6 10:04.9 take you to the aliexpress listing where
10:02.7 10:07.1 you can contact the supplier when you're
10:04.9 10:08.7 on your alibaba or aliexpress listing
10:07.1 10:11.0 you really need to make sure your supply
10:08.7 10:13.3 is good if your supplier isn't good they
10:11.0 10:14.6 can even scam you or your customer
10:13.3 10:16.5 experience is going to be bad to
10:14.6 10:18.5 understand this you can look at certain
10:16.5 10:22.6 things so on aliexpress we can look at
10:18.5 10:25.1 the reviews this is 4.3 stars out of 626
10:22.6 10:27.0 orders which is okay alternatively if we
10:25.1 10:29.0 wanted to check on alibaba for a good
10:27.0 10:31.7 supplier and what we can do is we can
10:29.0 10:34.0 look for verified suppliers these people
10:31.7 10:35.7 are generally verified through alibaba
10:34.0 10:37.8 and a much better quality the other
10:35.7 10:40.2 thing we can do on alibaba is look at
10:37.8 10:42.0 how much they're exporting to understand
10:40.2 10:43.6 how much of a big factory they are how
10:42.0 10:45.0 professional they're going to be the
10:43.6 10:46.9 final thing that is a little bit
10:45.0 10:49.0 technical on alibaba is you can look if
10:46.9 10:50.6 they to see if they're a trading company
10:49.0 10:52.5 if they're a trading company it actually
10:50.6 10:54.9 means that you're not talking directly
10:52.5 10:57.0 to the factory well this might improve
10:54.9 10:59.3 communication it can actually make the
10:57.0 11:01.2 product more expensive if you're just
10:59.3 11:02.6 getting started out there's probably no
11:01.2 11:04.5 reason why you can't use a trading
11:02.6 11:06.3 company just be aware that you can get
11:04.5 11:07.8 lower prices later on by dealing
11:06.3 11:09.5 directly with a factory the other thing
11:07.8 11:11.1 you can do to check if a product is
11:09.5 11:13.0 selling well is aliexpress actually
11:11.1 11:14.6 tells you how many units these suppliers
11:13.0 11:17.1 are selling this supplier has only sold
11:14.6 11:19.4 three of these products and it's not
11:17.1 11:21.7 huge volume now the one disclaimer i
11:19.4 11:22.9 will put here is maybe your early
11:21.7 11:24.8 remember when i first said that you
11:22.9 11:26.9 don't want to sell a saturated product
11:24.8 11:29.1 if you get in early with a huge mass
11:26.9 11:30.8 market product you can make millions so
11:29.1 11:32.5 while there's only a few products being
11:30.8 11:35.0 sold of this supplier and there's not
11:32.5 11:37.1 too many suppliers around it may just be
11:35.0 11:39.0 the perfect timing i don't know this is
11:37.1 11:42.2 often where i suggest someone to just
11:39.0 11:44.6 test and get started you know keep your
11:42.2 11:46.0 investment really really low and just
11:44.6 11:48.0 try drop shipping it one other
11:46.0 11:49.6 disclaimer before you just get started
11:48.0 11:51.5 and test this product is make sure you
11:49.6 11:54.5 watch this video to the end i'm gonna
11:51.5 11:56.4 touch on facebook ad account bans it's
11:54.5 11:58.4 really really important because payment
11:56.4 12:00.2 processing and paid ad accounts will
11:58.4 12:03.0 actually ban you if you take all of the
12:00.2 12:05.0 images off this alibaba listing and just
12:03.0 12:06.8 plunk them onto facebook you're going to
12:05.0 12:09.0 get banned straight away so there are a
12:06.8 12:11.1 few steps that we need to cover to make
12:09.0 12:13.0 sure that you stay safe alrighty so how
12:11.1 12:14.8 do we reach out to these suppliers how
12:13.0 12:16.5 do we get them set up so you can start
12:14.8 12:19.5 selling their product i'm going to use
12:16.5 12:21.4 this product today
12:19.5 12:23.4 because i've got some imagery set up for
12:21.4 12:26.4 it which we're going to break down
12:23.4 12:28.8 it's this one here which is 6.30 it's
12:26.4 12:30.8 called a yoga massage roller you can see
12:28.8 12:32.7 that there's a lot of myofascial release
12:30.8 12:34.8 products out here like other rollers
12:32.7 12:36.7 there's even like vibrating rollers and
12:34.8 12:38.7 all of those kind of things but we're
12:36.7 12:39.4 going to use this one we can come into
12:38.7 12:41.0 the
12:39.4 12:43.1 supplier and make sure that they have
12:41.0 12:45.8 decent reviews and then all we need to
12:43.1 12:48.2 do is contact them now i'm going to put
12:45.8 12:50.0 a free template in the description for
12:48.2 12:51.6 how to contact suppliers but let's go
12:50.0 12:53.4 over every single element so you
12:51.6 12:54.9 understand what you're asking the way
12:53.4 12:56.8 you reach out to these suppliers is
12:54.9 12:58.6 really important you want to install
12:56.8 13:00.3 confidence that you're a valid drop
12:58.6 13:01.9 shipper and you're worth working with
13:00.3 13:03.8 they want to build a long-term
13:01.9 13:06.0 relationship with you so being really
13:03.8 13:07.9 professional is important to ensure that
13:06.0 13:10.2 this is the case i've attached a free
13:07.9 13:12.9 template in the description below
13:10.2 13:14.7 this is the template that i use
13:12.9 13:16.2 i'll let you walk through each element
13:14.7 13:17.9 and make sure that everything's
13:16.2 13:19.3 explained so
13:17.9 13:21.3 you're obviously with these bold
13:19.3 13:24.1 sections going to replace it and add
13:21.3 13:25.6 your company details by adding a company
13:24.1 13:27.1 it's going to make you seem like more
13:25.6 13:29.4 professional than you're not just the
13:27.1 13:31.6 kid drop shipping which is okay if you
13:29.4 13:33.1 are make sure that you talk about how
13:31.6 13:35.3 many sales that you've generated
13:33.1 13:36.6 previously this will give some
13:35.3 13:38.8 confidence that you know what you're
13:36.6 13:41.3 doing these questions below are really
13:38.8 13:43.3 important to understand so the first one
13:41.3 13:45.6 is around blind drop shipping if a
13:43.3 13:47.4 customer gets a package from china that
13:45.6 13:49.7 takes a couple of weeks and it's got
13:47.4 13:51.5 chinese writing all over it that is a
13:49.7 13:53.8 bad brand experience they're gonna feel
13:51.5 13:56.2 like they've just been scammed this is
13:53.8 13:58.6 what this first question is asking you
13:56.2 14:01.4 want custom branded material and no
13:58.6 14:03.4 chinese language on the boxes the second
14:01.4 14:05.2 section is minimum order quantity which
14:03.4 14:07.1 we talked about at the start we don't
14:05.2 14:09.6 want to invest too much money in the
14:07.1 14:11.4 initial instance so you really want to
14:09.6 14:12.8 make sure that they've got a low minimum
14:11.4 14:14.7 order quantity
14:12.8 14:16.6 with this it is really good and
14:14.7 14:18.8 important to contact five to ten
14:16.6 14:21.6 suppliers for your product because
14:18.8 14:23.1 you'll get a range of pricing and mo
14:21.6 14:24.9 keys and you can pick what's worth it
14:23.1 14:26.6 for you the third one is pretty standard
14:24.9 14:28.4 nowadays suppliers understand that you
14:26.6 14:31.3 want to put your logo on the product but
14:28.4 14:32.9 there may be an moq to put that logo on
14:31.3 14:35.6 the product some suppliers will give you
14:32.9 14:37.3 no moq you can buy one two three units
14:35.6 14:39.3 providing there is no logo on the
14:37.3 14:41.4 product it's only when you really want
14:39.3 14:43.4 to customize the product does that does
14:41.4 14:45.7 moq's really come into play the fourth
14:43.4 14:47.4 one is really important so typical
14:45.7 14:49.4 shipping for drop shipping could be 30
14:47.4 14:51.0 to 60 days you've seen these brands that

20:47.2 20:50.6 choosing a website theme you're really
20:49.0 20:52.1 just trying to understand what you're
20:50.6 20:54.6 selling so a lot of these themes are
20:52.1 20:56.2 developed for certain niches for example
20:54.6 20:57.5 if you come down here you can see some
20:56.2 20:59.6 of these themes are actually just
20:57.5 21:01.3 designed for clothing stores and so if
20:59.6 21:03.7 you are using a clothing store it might
21:01.3 21:05.7 be a good idea to use one of these
21:03.7 21:08.1 themes you're really looking for
21:05.7 21:10.2 simplicity as well
21:08.1 21:11.8 if you don't have heaps of information
21:10.2 21:14.3 and this the theme needs lots of
21:11.8 21:16.2 information or lots of imagery to look
21:14.3 21:18.4 good then it's probably not the right
21:16.2 21:20.8 theme for you for drop shipping though i
21:18.4 21:22.6 do recommend just using the free debut
21:20.8 21:24.3 theme or you can just use the minimal
21:22.6 21:26.7 theme which a lot of other dropshippers
21:24.3 21:29.0 use to install the debut theme press
21:26.7 21:32.1 visit shopify theme store and search for
21:29.0 21:35.0 debut and then press here and then press
21:32.1 21:37.7 on try theme then the theme will get
21:35.0 21:39.4 installed to your theme library
21:37.7 21:42.2 go to your theme library and press
21:39.4 21:44.1 actions then press publish so now i've
21:42.2 21:46.2 downloaded the debut theme click the
21:44.1 21:47.9 button customize this is going to take
21:46.2 21:50.6 you to the theme editor this is one of
21:47.9 21:52.7 shopify's super powers it's really easy
21:50.6 21:54.2 to edit information and design a whole
21:52.7 21:56.0 store yourself
21:54.2 21:58.2 you can of course use something like
21:56.0 22:00.2 upwork or a local designer to design
21:58.2 22:02.8 your shopify store basically what we've
22:00.2 22:05.0 got here is on the left this is the
22:02.8 22:06.9 sections that you can edit the header
22:05.0 22:09.4 when you highlight it you can see is all
22:06.9 22:11.9 of this top section then you've got the
22:09.4 22:15.4 image with text overlay and then you can
22:11.9 22:16.8 come down here and see other elements
22:15.4 22:17.8 basically what we're going to do is
22:16.8 22:20.1 we're going to edit each of these
22:17.8 22:22.1 elements inserting our images and our
22:20.1 22:23.8 copy when editing your website i really
22:22.1 22:25.9 do recommend you start from the top and
22:23.8 22:28.2 work your way down the very first thing
22:25.9 22:30.3 that we need to change is this logo here
22:28.2 22:32.7 we need a professional logo that creates
22:30.3 22:35.7 trust in the user to do this we need to
22:32.7 22:37.8 go to the website canva canva is a free
22:35.7 22:39.6 tool and has tons of logo templates that
22:37.8 22:42.4 you can easily edit all we need to do
22:39.6 22:44.4 here is click write in logo and we can
22:42.4 22:46.3 see just suggested templates you can see
22:44.4 22:48.2 all of these templates here you can
22:46.3 22:49.5 easily edit so rather than use one of
22:48.2 22:51.4 these templates i'm going to just create
22:49.5 22:53.5 something really simple i'm just going
22:51.4 22:55.3 to go 600 by 100
22:53.5 22:58.3 and create the design and then we're
22:55.3 23:00.5 just going to use the add the heading
22:58.3 23:01.4 and we're going to call it massage
23:00.5 23:03.5 roller
23:01.4 23:05.6 in fact we're going to make it all caps
23:03.5 23:07.8 make it bigger now we just need a bit of
23:05.6 23:11.0 an icon that matches our product we'll
23:07.8 23:13.8 come into elements and go wave scroll
23:11.0 23:16.2 down maybe graphics grab something like
23:13.8 23:18.2 this and that's looking pretty good
23:16.2 23:20.2 might just crop that now we can save
23:18.2 23:22.2 this quite easily just by downloading it
23:20.2 23:24.2 here if you want you can actually click
23:22.2 23:26.4 transparent background if you do have a
23:24.2 23:29.2 canva pro account this will allow you to
23:26.4 23:31.4 use other base colors behind the logo on
23:29.2 23:33.5 something like your shopify store
23:31.4 23:35.0 if you do want a canva pro account click
23:33.5 23:37.3 the link in the description we've got a
23:35.0 23:39.1 bit of an affiliate link for you um so
23:37.3 23:41.7 you can sign up there so now i've got my
23:39.1 23:44.5 logo all i need to do is come here and
23:41.7 23:46.3 over on this right section we can click
23:44.5 23:48.9 select image
23:46.3 23:50.8 and we can upload the massage roller and
23:48.9 23:52.6 we're ready to go as you can see the
23:50.8 23:54.5 blue is matching the blue it's starting
23:52.6 23:56.4 to look pretty fresh next we can come
23:54.5 23:59.4 into here and edit these other sections
23:56.4 24:01.8 by adding the text the top selling
23:59.4 24:03.2 massage roller one thing that i do
24:01.8 24:05.0 really want to show you today which is
24:03.2 24:07.7 really important is coming into the
24:05.0 24:10.5 products and creating a new product
24:07.7 24:12.7 up here you click add product and you
24:10.5 24:14.6 need to enter all of your information
24:12.7 24:16.8 here so we can call it something like
24:14.6 24:18.5 the massage roller
24:16.8 24:20.7 as the title this is going to be on the
24:18.5 24:22.3 top of your product page then you've got
24:20.7 24:24.5 your description this is really where
24:22.3 24:26.2 you want to sell the product if you
24:24.5 24:28.2 don't know how to sell a product through
24:26.2 24:30.6 copy you probably need to go and learn
24:28.2 24:33.0 it there's lots of resources out there
24:30.6 24:35.5 how to write direct response copy
24:33.0 24:38.2 basically we're trying to explain the
24:35.5 24:40.0 features and the benefits of the product
24:38.2 24:41.5 why would someone want to buy them talk
24:40.0 24:44.3 about the pain points that customers
24:41.5 24:47.2 have around being tight or wanting to
24:44.3 24:49.4 improve performance one tip i do have
24:47.2 24:52.4 around entering these shopify
24:49.4 24:54.3 descriptions is use dot points to really
24:52.4 24:56.4 make it digestible and easy to
24:54.3 24:58.3 understand so once we've added the copy
24:56.4 25:00.7 we need to click add file to add the
24:58.3 25:02.7 product imagery as i mentioned you
25:00.7 25:05.1 really do want to make sure you shoot
25:02.7 25:07.3 this imagery yourself to avoid getting
25:05.1 25:08.7 banned the alibaba supplier might
25:07.3 25:10.3 actually not even own the imagery they
25:08.7 25:12.0 might have stolen it from another brand
25:10.3 25:14.1 so really important you take control of
25:12.0 25:16.5 this process these are images we've
25:14.1 25:18.3 taken ourselves to display the product
25:16.5 25:20.6 the best practice is your feature image
25:18.3 25:23.4 your number one image should be the
25:20.6 25:25.1 product on white background
25:23.4 25:27.2 there has been a lot of tests and people
25:25.1 25:28.6 have done a lot of tests on this
25:27.2 25:30.9 process
25:28.6 25:33.5 by adding a white background and clear
25:30.9 25:35.4 product images increases conversion rate
25:33.5 25:37.4 and sales dramatically the next thing
25:35.4 25:39.7 that you do need to add is pricing again
25:37.4 25:41.7 you're going to your alibaba supplier or
25:39.7 25:44.5 aliexpress supplier and you're
25:41.7 25:46.9 calculating the simple equation how much
25:44.5 25:49.2 can you get the product to the customer
25:46.9 25:51.7 for and then how much does it cost to
25:49.2 25:53.8 acquire the customer with marketing
25:51.7 25:55.5 that's your profit margin this is going
25:53.8 25:58.0 to help you set what price you're going
25:55.5 26:00.8 to sell this product for so for example
25:58.0 26:02.4 this yoga massage roller is costing 6.30
26:00.8 26:04.5 it's saying that shipping is around five
26:02.4 26:05.9 dollars this is really dependent on what
26:04.5 26:07.7 country you're shipping to and what
26:05.9 26:10.8 shipping lines you're using but let's
26:07.7 26:13.0 say for example this is costing us 15 to
26:10.8 26:15.0 get this to a customer if we sold this
26:13.0 26:17.7 product organically on say tick tock
26:15.0 26:20.1 with no advertising cost we'd have 45
26:17.7 26:22.4 dollars every time that we sell this
26:20.1 26:24.6 product in profit but if we tried to
26:22.4 26:25.9 really scale this product up using paid
26:24.6 26:28.1 media channels which we're going to talk
26:25.9 26:29.6 about it may cost something like 30 to
26:28.1 26:31.8 40 dollars to actually acquire the
26:29.6 26:33.6 customer drastically shrinks our profit
26:31.8 26:35.7 margin but increases the volume that
26:33.6 26:37.8 we're selling so for this example i'm
26:35.7 26:40.0 just going to make this product 60
26:37.8 26:41.9 in fact i'm going to make it 59 to make
26:40.0 26:43.8 it feel a little bit more of a bargain
26:41.9 26:45.6 you can add a compare price or discount
26:43.8 26:47.9 codes as well now you do want to add a
26:45.6 26:49.7 cost per item just for now it might not
26:47.9 26:52.0 be exact but it's really good for your
26:49.7 26:53.4 shopify reporting down the line so i'm
26:52.0 26:55.0 just going to do 15. it's going to
26:53.4 26:56.6 calculate your margin and your profit
26:55.0 26:58.2 which we talked about before now this
26:56.6 26:59.3 isn't too important for a lot of people
26:58.2 27:01.3 watching but i am going to teach you
26:59.3 27:02.6 best practice because after we scouted
27:01.3 27:04.5 for two years it was really important
27:02.6 27:07.0 that we set it up correctly you do want
27:04.5 27:08.6 to click create an sku and this is
27:07.0 27:11.0 basically what you're going to put under
27:08.6 27:13.1 your barcodes to understand different
27:11.0 27:14.7 variants of skus you want a simple
27:13.1 27:17.2 naming convention so this would be
27:14.7 27:18.7 massage roller and we're going to do
27:17.2 27:21.0 pink as well because we might have a
27:18.7 27:23.0 black one a gray one so that's gonna be
27:21.0 27:24.4 our sku and we've got track quantity
27:23.0 27:26.2 which is basically going to be the
27:24.4 27:28.2 amount of stock that you've ordered from
27:26.2 27:30.6 your supplier because you might only
27:28.2 27:32.4 order 200 of them with a custom logo
27:30.6 27:34.2 you're going to want to put 200 here so
27:32.4 27:35.7 you can track the amount of inventory
27:34.2 27:37.4 they have this is going to help you know
27:35.7 27:39.4 when you need to reorder again with your
27:37.4 27:41.8 supplier if you're not putting a logo or
27:39.4 27:44.0 anything like that you might be able to
27:41.8 27:45.6 turn off track quantity because the
27:44.0 27:47.6 supplier has lots of product but you
27:45.6 27:49.4 need to confirm that the last thing you
27:47.6 27:51.5 want is selling thousands of products
27:49.4 27:53.3 and the supplier has none and you'll
27:51.5 27:55.1 just get banned again the final thing is
27:53.3 27:56.8 weight which isn't too important at this
27:55.1 27:58.8 stage unless you're using certain
27:56.8 28:01.0 shopify couriers and printing labels
27:58.8 28:02.9 directly from shopify this section here
28:01.0 28:03.8 this product has options like size and
28:02.9 28:06.1 colors
28:03.8 28:08.2 if i click that it's going to allow me
28:06.1 28:10.2 to add different variants and options
28:08.2 28:12.6 and this will then be a drop down on the
28:10.2 28:14.2 product page i don't have any variants
28:12.6 28:15.8 today so i'm just going to unselect that
28:14.2 28:18.6 just before i click save though you can
28:15.8 28:21.1 click edit website seo here and you can
28:18.6 28:23.4 remove these emojis and if you know what
28:21.1 28:25.8 you're doing with seo this is a really
28:23.4 28:28.5 important section you can also change
28:25.8 28:30.2 the url handle here to make sure it
28:28.5 28:31.8 doesn't look scammy or anything like
28:30.2 28:34.5 that with the name we could even just
28:31.8 28:36.6 remove the massage roller and just do

30:26.0 30:30.2 which stands for frequently asked

30:34.7 30:38.8 other options to create these pages to
30:36.6 30:42.0 make sure that they're designed really

31:04.7 31:08.1 i can go faq we've got all of these
31:06.8 31:10.2 options to create these really nice
31:08.1 31:12.7 pages and features that customers are
31:10.2 31:14.9 used to so i'm going to add this app now
31:12.7 31:17.4 one tip that i will make is these apps
31:14.9 31:20.1 aren't actually 100 necessary to get
31:17.4 31:23.0 these features you can simply use a
31:20.1 31:24.7 developer and a designer to custom code
31:23.0 31:26.5 it into your theme
31:24.7 31:29.3 now to do that you need to use upwork
31:26.5 31:30.2 and hire someone but it's much quicker
31:29.3 31:32.7 and
31:30.2 31:34.7 just as easy to install this app it's
31:32.7 31:36.4 just sometimes with apps they can be
31:34.7 31:38.6 expensive over time and we're trying to
31:36.4 31:40.6 run this lean and also they can slow
31:38.6 31:42.2 your store down which really does reduce
31:40.6 31:43.8 your conversion rate
31:42.2 31:46.1 nonetheless i'm going to install this
31:43.8 31:48.8 app today so now what i can do is just
31:46.1 31:50.0 create my first faq
31:48.8 31:52.3 and this is the question that the
31:50.0 31:54.9 customer will ask and then i can simply
31:52.3 31:57.8 write the answer to the question in the
31:54.9 31:57.8 description below

32:52.3 32:56.6 make a branded experience this also
32:54.6 32:59.0 really reduces the amount of customer
32:56.6 33:00.7 service you're going to get with wismo

33:00.7 33:03.5 order these are the main customer
33:02.2 33:05.6 service responses you're going to get so
33:03.5 33:07.4 you really want to minimize them to do

33:32.2 33:35.5 seven day free trials and whatnot as

33:35.5 33:39.8 be able to launch our ads and start
33:37.4 33:41.6 selling and get that cash flow in to pay
33:39.8 33:43.4 for these apps i'm going to install this
33:41.6 33:44.8 one so now we've got these apps
33:43.4 33:46.2 installed we really need to make sure
33:44.8 33:48.7 that they're very accessible in the
33:46.2 33:50.6 website navigation bar is this section
33:48.7 33:53.5 up here which we can change to look at
33:50.6 33:55.8 mobile and is really really important
33:53.5 33:57.0 because it creates trust so to change
33:55.8 33:59.8 this we actually need to come into
33:57.0 34:02.2 another section in online store
33:59.8 34:04.1 and this main menu is the section that
34:02.2 34:05.8 you're seeing there there's also the
34:04.1 34:06.7 footer menu which i was talking about
34:05.8 34:09.1 before
34:06.7 34:11.6 so we can click main menu here
34:09.1 34:14.3 and adjust what is being displayed we've
34:11.6 34:16.9 obviously got home catalog contact we
34:14.3 34:19.2 can also add something like faqs
34:16.9 34:21.7 and click here pages

36:20.9 36:25.9 reviews of their products
36:23.3 36:28.8 more importantly photo reviews to really
36:25.9 36:31.0 build trust and social proof this can
36:28.8 36:33.0 increase conversion rate the other
36:31.0 36:34.6 review app that you can use is okendo
36:33.0 36:36.6 but it's a little bit more expensive but
36:34.6 36:38.0 it does add more features that people
36:36.6 36:40.2 can review
36:38.0 36:42.4 i'm going to install this app and now
36:40.2 36:44.2 customers can upload their photos and
36:42.4 36:46.5 talk about the product
36:44.2 36:48.7 you can then use those photos that
36:46.5 36:50.5 people upload for reviews as
36:48.7 36:52.7 advertisement which we're going to jump
36:50.5 36:54.7 into in a second so to download luke's
36:52.7 36:56.3 you just select the trial so we can go
36:54.7 36:58.0 through this and again we probably want
36:56.3 36:59.8 to use our brand color for these star
36:58.0 37:02.9 reviews

37:02.9 37:07.1 important to set up correctly basically
37:04.9 37:08.9 after a customer purchases luke's is
37:07.1 37:11.4 going to send an email out from the
37:08.9 37:13.8 shopify store email that you set up in
37:11.4 37:16.4 the beginning to get people to upload an
37:13.8 37:18.2 image as a review now what i generally
37:16.4 37:20.4 recommend is actually
37:18.2 37:22.2 turning off these review requests and
37:20.4 37:24.0 controlling it more through your email
37:22.2 37:26.2 marketing platform which we're going to
37:24.0 37:28.8 download as one of our next apps called
37:26.2 37:31.1 clavio what this does is it allows you
37:28.8 37:32.9 to control where the review requests are
37:31.1 37:35.2 coming from if you don't want to set up
37:32.9 37:37.0 a review request within clavio which
37:35.2 37:39.4 again i'm going to explain in a second
37:37.0 37:41.3 you can leave this active
37:39.4 37:44.1 i do recommend though making this a
37:41.3 37:46.1 little bit more personalized 14 days
37:44.1 37:47.4 timing is absolutely fine if you do want
37:46.1 37:49.4 to turn it off you actually need to
37:47.4 37:50.6 continue and change it later in the
37:49.4 37:53.0 settings i'm just going to click
37:50.6 37:54.9 continue for now now they also recommend
37:53.0 37:57.4 that you add a discount to entice
37:54.9 37:58.9 customers to leave a positive review i'm

38:31.5 38:36.8 image for the product let me just do

38:39.5 38:43.3 now a lot of dropshippers out there what
38:41.4 38:45.8 they'll actually do is they'll go to
38:43.3 38:48.0 something like instagram or youtube or
38:45.8 38:49.9 even on the aliexpress link user

40:02.5 40:06.5 compliance is really really important
40:04.2 40:09.2 with sms big brands get sued all the
40:06.5 40:12.7 time usually it's because users need to
40:09.2 40:15.0 explicitly opt in to receiving sms or
40:12.7 40:17.0 telephone calls people are really really
40:15.0 40:19.8 strict on that especially within the
40:17.0 40:21.8 united states we need to disable any
40:19.8 40:23.4 auto check-in and make sure customers
40:21.8 40:25.5 are very clear with our terms and
40:23.4 40:27.8 conditions that they're going to receive
40:25.5 40:29.2 sms messages postscript actually might
40:27.8 40:30.7 walk you through this and make sure
40:29.2 40:33.0 you're all compliant before you start
40:30.7 40:34.7 sending once you've set up postscript
40:33.0 40:37.3 all you need to do is create an
40:34.7 40:40.2 abandoned cart sms that sends 30 minutes
40:37.3 40:42.3 after people abandon cart saying hey
40:40.2 40:45.0 here's your url don't forget to check

40:55.6 40:59.7 shipping app out there what it does it
40:57.6 41:02.5 makes it easier for you to manage drop
40:59.7 41:04.2 shipping suppliers and find products
41:02.5 41:06.4 while it does make the process simpler
41:04.2 41:09.0 in many instances it's probably not
41:06.4 41:10.7 necessary to use all the time and a lot
41:09.0 41:13.0 of the products that you want to sell
41:10.7 41:14.8 won't actually be on oberlo yet because
41:13.0 41:16.7 you're trying to get in really early
41:14.8 41:18.6 with trends i will show you how to use
41:16.7 41:20.6 oberlo just in case you want to use it
41:18.6 41:22.6 there's also an app called dropify that
41:20.6 41:24.9 you can use there's also an app that you
41:22.6 41:27.0 could check out called spocket and
41:24.9 41:29.3 dropify i'm going to install this app
41:27.0 41:31.1 now so once you're in obelo you can
41:29.3 41:33.0 follow these steps and then walks you
41:31.1 41:35.0 through really nicely you can just click
41:33.0 41:37.7 explore products and it's going to take
41:35.0 41:39.8 you to ali express listings that you can
41:37.7 41:41.8 go ahead and sell what we can do is we
41:39.8 41:43.4 can just write in our massage roller and
41:41.8 41:45.0 we can find the product that we're
41:43.4 41:47.2 already going to sell so you can write
41:45.0 41:49.2 in u-shaped massage roller and you can
41:47.2 41:51.8 see that they've all popped up so this
41:49.2 41:53.8 one's 2.70 here and it gives you a bit
41:51.8 41:55.8 more information as you can see there's
41:53.8 41:58.2 a lot of massage rollers here we can
41:55.8 42:00.6 compare it to our aliexpress listing to
41:58.2 42:02.2 show you how similar it actually is it
42:00.6 42:03.8 seems oberlo's actually done a much
42:02.2 42:06.1 better job at filtering cheaper
42:03.8 42:08.5 suppliers with better reviews which is a
42:06.1 42:10.6 great thing to look at we can probably
42:08.5 42:13.5 go ahead and contact these suppliers off
42:10.6 42:15.4 of oberlo and just do a csv export as we
42:13.5 42:17.0 said and send them the orders that they
42:15.4 42:18.7 need to send rather than fulfilling
42:17.0 42:20.8 through oberlo if you want to use
42:18.7 42:23.1 oberlo's fulfillment methods or their
42:20.8 42:25.1 chrome extensions and you can't find the
42:23.1 42:26.7 product actually through oberlo you can
42:25.1 42:29.4 actually contact the supplier on
42:26.7 42:31.7 aliexpress and ask them to create a vip
42:29.4 42:34.3 link for you this will allow you to add
42:31.7 42:36.2 the supplier into oberlo and start using
42:34.3 42:39.0 them what i can do is i can come down to
42:36.2 42:40.6 a product and i can click let's say add
42:39.0 42:41.8 to import list probably needs more
42:40.6 42:45.0 reviews
42:41.8 42:47.0 but i can go like this and come over
42:45.0 42:48.9 here you can see that it's imported this
42:47.0 42:51.1 title you want to change the title to
42:48.9 42:53.6 something like that we had before the
42:51.1 42:55.4 massage roller
42:53.6 42:57.0 and we can choose collections and add
42:55.4 42:59.3 all of this stuff if you want which is
42:57.0 43:01.2 basically where the product sits within
42:59.3 43:04.0 your store if you have multiple products
43:01.2 43:06.0 for example woody a collection would be
43:04.0 43:08.4 this is wearable blanket and this is
43:06.0 43:11.2 loungewear or sleepwear then we can come
43:08.4 43:13.4 into the variants as well this is really
43:11.2 43:15.2 important to select you probably don't
43:13.4 43:17.0 want all of these variants just by
43:15.2 43:18.6 adding lots of variants doesn't mean
43:17.0 43:20.6 you're going to get lots of sales it's
43:18.6 43:22.1 just going to be more to manage so you
43:20.6 43:23.7 might just want to select a couple of
43:22.1 43:25.6 variants that you need when you're
43:23.7 43:27.8 coming to this section the sku is fine
43:25.6 43:29.7 you really want to keep that there
43:27.8 43:31.8 make sure the colors are all spelt
43:29.7 43:33.9 correctly for your region and this ships
43:31.8 43:35.6 from is basically the supplier might
43:33.9 43:38.1 have different distribution centers
43:35.6 43:40.2 around the world now we're probably only
43:38.1 43:42.6 wanting to ship to something like united

44:46.6 44:50.7 we need to add is our email marketing
44:48.7 44:52.3 app now there's one email marketing app
44:50.7 44:54.6 that everybody in e-commerce at the
44:52.3 44:56.8 moment is using which is called clavio
44:54.6 44:58.7 it's really effective at segmentation
44:56.8 45:00.4 and automation to make sure that you're
44:58.7 45:01.8 getting as much money as possible from
45:00.4 45:03.5 your traffic
45:01.8 45:05.5 to add this what we're going to do is
45:03.5 45:08.5 click customize store i'm going to write
45:05.5 45:09.8 in clavio and then we're going to add
45:08.5 45:11.5 the app
45:09.8 45:13.6 now once we add the app it's going to
45:11.5 45:16.2 take us over to clavio and get us to
45:13.6 45:17.4 start updating a lot of information once
45:16.2 45:20.0 you're in clavio you're going to be
45:17.4 45:21.8 prompted to enter things like your logo
45:20.0 45:24.3 and your address and all of those kind
45:21.8 45:26.6 of things make sure you do this and then
45:24.3 45:28.5 what we can do is create what's called a
45:26.6 45:29.8 flow it's really important no matter
45:28.5 45:31.8 what traffic you're driving to your
45:29.8 45:34.2 store whether it's organic or paid to
45:31.8 45:36.3 have email to mop up that traffic before
45:34.2 45:38.4 we create our first flow let me explain
45:36.3 45:40.3 the basics of it
45:38.4 45:41.9 you all know what an email pop-up is
45:40.3 45:43.8 it's when something pops up and gives
45:41.9 45:45.2 you an offer and you enter your email
45:43.8 45:47.6 that then prompts someone to go through
45:45.2 45:49.8 what we call a welcome series the
45:47.6 45:52.1 welcome series function is to educate
45:49.8 45:54.5 people about the brand and product it
45:52.1 45:56.3 could be three to six emails long
45:54.5 45:57.8 there's also other flows such as a ban
45:56.3 46:00.2 and cart where someone goes to the
45:57.8 46:02.3 checkout enters their email and doesn't
46:00.2 46:04.6 complete the purchase clavio knows
46:02.3 46:06.7 because it's integrated with shopify
46:04.6 46:09.2 that they didn't complete their purchase
46:06.7 46:11.0 and then can send them follow-up emails
46:09.2 46:12.7 this is really effective because the
46:11.0 46:14.3 emails are very personalized to the
46:12.7 46:16.0 product that the customer wants to
46:14.3 46:18.0 purchase there are also lots of other
46:16.0 46:19.8 flows such as browse abandonment where
46:18.0 46:22.6 shopify already has the email of the
46:19.8 46:24.2 customer but they go to the store don't
46:22.6 46:26.0 check out and then leave we can prompt
46:24.2 46:27.8 them with another email the two emails
46:26.0 46:29.7 that you do want to set up is abandoned
46:27.8 46:31.4 cart and the welcome series which we're
46:29.7 46:33.6 going to do today the first thing we do
46:31.4 46:35.3 want to do is create a sign up form so
46:33.6 46:37.0 we can click here and create sign up
46:35.3 46:38.9 form there are lots of apps that can
46:37.0 46:40.9 customize your signup form but
46:38.9 46:43.0 considering we want to keep it free
46:40.9 46:45.8 we're gonna use the clavio one
46:43.0 46:47.5 so this multi-step email and sms is a
46:45.8 46:49.8 great one because you're getting both
46:47.5 46:52.3 email and sms we're just gonna grab the
46:49.8 46:54.4 most simple pop-up here which is first
46:52.3 46:56.1 order discount which we can click here

54:02.1 54:06.2 pixel will actually pick up that user
54:04.0 54:08.1 and then be able to re-target them later
54:06.2 54:09.7 it also picks up all web traffic going
54:08.1 54:11.5 to your store so even if someone comes
54:09.7 54:13.9 from something like instagram you can
54:11.5 54:15.8 then retarget them on facebook it also
54:13.9 54:18.0 tracks purchases which is really
54:15.8 54:20.3 important so we can teach facebook what
54:18.0 54:22.2 to optimize for in short to check if
54:20.3 54:23.9 your pixel has now been installed after
54:22.2 54:26.4 that process you can use a chrome
54:23.9 54:28.6 extension called pixel helper simply
54:26.4 54:31.1 google in pixel helper and you can
54:28.6 54:33.0 download the chrome extension and you'll
54:31.1 54:35.0 then be able to come up here and click
54:33.0 54:37.1 on this you can see now that this
54:35.0 54:39.3 facebook pixel has popped up you can
54:37.1 54:41.4 check this facebook pixel here to what

55:01.6 55:05.6 to do the ads it was all about finding
55:03.8 55:08.6 small interests and doing really
55:05.6 55:10.7 specific targeting the good news is any
55:08.6 55:12.9 founder or new drop shipper can get
55:10.7 55:14.2 started in the ad account now you don't
55:12.9 55:16.8 need to worry about all of these
55:14.2 55:19.2 audiences and stuff like that really
55:16.8 55:21.1 easy to just set up a broad campaign
55:19.2 55:22.6 what do i mean by that come into the
55:21.1 55:24.2 business manager
55:22.6 55:26.1 and click create
55:24.2 55:27.9 you're then going to come down here and
55:26.1 55:30.6 you're going to click sales as the
55:27.9 55:32.1 objective and click continue this is
55:30.6 55:34.2 going to then allow you to create what's
55:32.1 55:35.8 called a conversion campaign this
55:34.2 55:38.5 conversion campaign is obviously going
55:35.8 55:40.2 to be looking for purchases or sales
55:38.5 55:43.4 first step we really want to name our
55:40.2 55:45.1 campaign we're going to call it cold
55:43.4 55:46.8 because we're targeting a broad amount
55:45.1 55:48.8 of people
55:46.8 55:50.1 purchase
55:48.8 55:51.3 and we're going to call it massage
55:50.1 55:53.6 roller
55:51.3 55:55.5 then we can just click next now we're
55:53.6 55:57.4 into the ad set level so we've got the
55:55.5 55:59.4 campaign level which is the top level
55:57.4 56:01.6 objective the ad set level which is your
55:59.4 56:03.5 targeting which is your audiences we're
56:01.6 56:05.3 going to go very very broad so there's
56:03.5 56:07.2 very minimal that we actually need to do
56:05.3 56:08.9 in this section we can click on the
56:07.2 56:10.8 conversion event
56:08.9 56:12.6 and if it's set if your pixel set up
56:10.8 56:14.7 correctly you can just select purchase
56:12.6 56:17.3 here and you can scroll down and we're
56:14.7 56:19.8 just going to set a daily budget of
56:17.3 56:21.4 around 10 to 20 dollars depending on how
56:19.8 56:23.5 confident you are that your ads are
56:21.4 56:25.0 going to convert remember not to set up
56:23.5 56:26.8 these ads and just completely forget
56:25.0 56:28.6 about them because facebook is going to
56:26.8 56:30.6 be charging your credit card now next
56:28.6 56:32.2 step is the audience section initially
56:30.6 56:34.3 what i'm going to do is actually run a
56:32.2 56:36.1 broad ad set which is really really
56:34.3 56:39.0 simple we're just going to target the
56:36.1 56:41.4 location being australia or it might be
56:39.0 56:42.3 the united states we've also got the age
56:41.4 56:44.2 here
56:42.3 56:47.1 and we can just keep it very broad if we
56:44.2 56:49.0 wanted to add interest to this audience
56:47.1 56:51.4 what it would do is it would narrow it
56:49.0 56:53.3 down so for example would click down
56:51.4 56:56.5 here include people who are matched and
56:53.3 56:58.7 we could write in something like fitness
56:56.5 57:00.5 we can then click this physical fitness
56:58.7 57:02.8 and what you'll see is that audience has
57:00.5 57:06.3 now shrunk if i get rid of it that
57:02.8 57:08.7 audience now goes up to 17.7 million um
57:06.3 57:10.7 audience size the typical structure that
57:08.7 57:14.1 we use currently when we're launching a
57:10.7 57:16.6 new product is we'll use both a broad ad
57:14.1 57:18.5 set but we'll also add another we'll
57:16.6 57:20.5 duplicate that ad set and add another
57:18.5 57:22.1 one and add a small interest to narrow
57:20.5 57:24.9 down the audiences
57:22.1 57:26.7 this just gives facebook a couple of
57:24.9 57:28.7 if you imagine a venn diagram you've got
57:26.7 57:31.1 the broad ad set here but then you've
57:28.7 57:33.4 also got a couple of other ad sets
57:31.1 57:35.0 within that broad ad set where facebook
57:33.4 57:37.1 is a little bit more focused and
57:35.0 57:38.9 targeting eventually over time as
57:37.1 57:40.8 facebook gets smarter you just want to
57:38.9 57:42.5 give facebook all the options and it
57:40.8 57:44.5 knows the interest that it should be
57:42.5 57:46.1 targeting but with such small budgets
57:44.5 57:47.3 sometimes it's great to just create
57:46.1 57:49.3 these multiple ad sets which i'm going
57:47.3 57:50.9 to do in front of you now
57:49.3 57:52.7 for placements we're just going to do
57:50.9 57:54.6 automatic placements and keep it nice
57:52.7 57:56.3 and simple and then we're going to come
57:54.6 57:58.5 up here and we're going to name this the
57:56.3 58:00.2 ad set name needs to describe the
57:58.5 58:02.7 audience so you understand what it is so
58:00.2 58:05.2 we just simply write it broad and we can
58:02.7 58:07.6 also sometimes say what type of ads are
58:05.2 58:09.8 within the ad set so i'm just gonna call
58:07.6 58:11.7 it video one next step is we can come
58:09.8 58:13.6 into the ad layer and we can write in
58:11.7 58:15.2 video one the next steps that you will
58:13.6 58:17.4 have is you will need to create a
58:15.2 58:19.2 facebook page for your brand this is
