00:00:01 00:00:04 well hey guys uh this
00:00:03 00:00:06 section on our course is gonna be all
00:00:04 00:00:08 about something that i call
00:00:06 00:00:09 being too fancy and this is kind of
00:00:08 00:00:10 goofy i'm gonna just follow along with
00:00:09 00:00:11 me here and i think this is gonna be
00:00:10 00:00:13 really relevant
00:00:11 00:00:15 and i'll just i'll cut to the chase what
00:00:13 00:00:16 the end of this is is this is all about
00:00:15 00:00:17 making sure that your website and your
00:00:16 00:00:21 marketing
00:00:17 00:00:24 is really clear in order to hook basic
00:00:21 00:00:25 simple tax return inquiries okay so the
00:00:24 00:00:26 idea here
00:00:25 00:00:28 is that while we're doing all of this
00:00:26 00:00:29 conversation about
00:00:28 00:00:32 man you better make sure that you're
00:00:29 00:00:34 pricing yourself as a valuable
00:00:32 00:00:36 asset to help people do the three things
00:00:34 00:00:37 to reduce taxes serve as a staff
00:00:36 00:00:39 employee and save them time
00:00:37 00:00:40 and keep them compliant or whatever
00:00:39 00:00:41 other value propositions you want to
00:00:40 00:00:42 bring
00:00:41 00:00:44 you got to remember that one of the one
00:00:42 00:00:46 of the things about entrepreneurs and
00:00:44 00:00:47 business owners in partikular
00:00:46 00:00:49 is that they get really cynical if they
00:00:47 00:00:52 come to your site and they think boy
00:00:49 00:00:53 this is just this is too much they're
00:00:52 00:00:54 not gonna
00:00:53 00:00:55 they're not gonna like it so i'm gonna
00:00:54 00:00:57 tell you a couple there's some
00:00:55 00:00:58 psychology behind this i think this is
00:00:57 00:01:00 going to be really
00:00:58 00:01:02 relevant again as you're doing your own
00:01:00 00:01:03 website or if you're having us do your
00:01:02 00:01:04 website
00:01:03 00:01:05 we want to make sure that we're
00:01:04 00:01:07 communicating these main value
00:01:05 00:01:08 propositions to them but we also want to
00:01:07 00:01:12 make sure that we're not portraying
00:01:08 00:01:14 anything too fancy so here's my story um
00:01:12 00:01:15 back from 2004 until 2011 i used to work
00:01:14 00:01:17 at best buy
00:01:15 00:01:18 and at best buy i was the computer sales
00:01:17 00:01:19 guy it was like the most complicated
00:01:18 00:01:21 sale that you could do
00:01:19 00:01:23 i enjoyed it and again i grew up with
00:01:21 00:01:24 this whole idea of
00:01:23 00:01:26 value how do you understand what's
00:01:24 00:01:28 valuable to the person
00:01:26 00:01:29 or to the customer or whatever that is
00:01:28 00:01:31 and then how do you make sure that
00:01:29 00:01:32 you're matching them up and serving as a
00:01:31 00:01:34 guide
00:01:32 00:01:35 to solve that problem to connect what's
00:01:34 00:01:37 valuable to them
00:01:35 00:01:38 with what's valuable in your repertoire
00:01:37 00:01:40 and to
00:01:38 00:01:41 to make those connections again whenever
00:01:40 00:01:43 you're selling you want to position
00:01:41 00:01:45 yourself as a guide
00:01:43 00:01:47 so you're not selling you're not here
00:01:45 00:01:48 trying to get people to buy things which
00:01:47 00:01:51 i didn't try and get people to buy a
00:01:48 00:01:53 laptop or to buy a warranty on a laptop
00:01:51 00:01:55 or to buy what we call geek squad
00:01:53 00:01:56 services on a laptop where we made some
00:01:55 00:01:58 more money
00:01:56 00:02:00 what my goal was is to help understand
00:01:58 00:02:02 who that customer was how they're going
00:02:00 00:02:04 to use their tiknology
00:02:02 00:02:06 show them kind of the good better best
00:02:04 00:02:09 help and help equip them
00:02:06 00:02:11 to make the best decision for them
00:02:09 00:02:12 sometimes that can be overloading
00:02:11 00:02:14 sometimes that can be
00:02:12 00:02:16 too much information not enough like
00:02:14 00:02:18 just clarity to tell them exactly what
00:02:16 00:02:20 they meant but if you're good at kind of
00:02:18 00:02:22 doing this it's going to work so long
00:02:20 00:02:25 story short
00:02:22 00:02:27 i was a very masterful and i think out
00:02:25 00:02:28 of this course i'm hoping that you get
00:02:27 00:02:30 good at this too
00:02:28 00:02:33 at this idea of getting past any
00:02:30 00:02:34 resistance now at best buy
00:02:33 00:02:36 you know there was a policy at best buy
00:02:34 00:02:37 it was called the the 10 foot 30 second
00:02:36 00:02:39 rule
00:02:37 00:02:41 if somebody was ever standing by
00:02:39 00:02:43 themselves for 30 seconds
00:02:41 00:02:44 we were supposed to go up and engage
00:02:43 00:02:45 with them right which sounds really good
00:02:44 00:02:47 until
00:02:45 00:02:49 you're a customer just trying to like
00:02:47 00:02:51 look around and browse and you have 900
00:02:49 00:02:52 people come up and it's kind of annoying
00:02:51 00:02:54 but on the other side if you've ever
00:02:52 00:02:56 been in a store and you can't find
00:02:54 00:02:58 anybody that's super annoying too
00:02:56 00:03:00 and not only that but i knew that if we
00:02:58 00:03:01 do or 10 seconds a 10 foot if you saw
00:03:00 00:03:03 somebody
00:03:01 00:03:05 within 10 feet of yourself you would
00:03:03 00:03:07 always go hey are you finding what you
00:03:05 00:03:10 need or can i help you find something
00:03:07 00:03:12 now i think asking people can i help you
00:03:10 00:03:14 find something is a terrible question
00:03:12 00:03:16 in fact asking them if they have any
00:03:14 00:03:18 questions is a terrible question
00:03:16 00:03:19 oftentimes i just be like hey do you
00:03:18 00:03:21 know where you're going or can i help
00:03:19 00:03:23 you find something distinct
00:03:21 00:03:25 i don't know no i'm good i'm good cool
00:03:23 00:03:26 well if you need computers i am the
00:03:25 00:03:28 computer with so i'd love to help you
00:03:26 00:03:30 understand all that
00:03:28 00:03:31 and uh yeah appreciate you in here right
00:03:30 00:03:32 so you're just trying to do this like
00:03:31 00:03:34 little thing
00:03:32 00:03:35 um but long story short people would
00:03:34 00:03:37 come in and they'd walk up to the laptop
00:03:35 00:03:38 aisle and they'd all kind of do the same
00:03:37 00:03:40 thing so they'd walk in and be like hey
00:03:38 00:03:42 what brings you in today you guys uh
00:03:40 00:03:43 checking out laptops or just kind of
00:03:42 00:03:45 seeing what's out there
00:03:43 00:03:46 can i help you out with anything so i'd
00:03:45 00:03:48 give them always kind of like three
00:03:46 00:03:50 pivot points so it's not like
00:03:48 00:03:52 ask them a direct question it was always
00:03:50 00:03:53 like hey you guys looking at laptops are
00:03:52 00:03:54 you just kind of
00:03:53 00:03:56 seeing what's out there was there
00:03:54 00:03:56 something in mind that you were looking
00:03:56 00:03:58 for
00:03:56 00:04:00 right so now i've given them pathways
00:03:58 00:04:03 people like to choose things
00:04:00 00:04:04 so for you whenever you're presenting if
00:04:03 00:04:06 you can do
00:04:04 00:04:07 little presentations giving them
00:04:06 00:04:09 pathways like that
00:04:07 00:04:11 with a question at the end that'll allow
00:04:09 00:04:13 them to kind of go where they want to
00:04:11 00:04:14 but you're instead of you forcing them
00:04:13 00:04:17 down one path
00:04:14 00:04:18 that will like cause them some friction
00:04:17 00:04:19 and they won't like you they feel
00:04:18 00:04:20 manipulated
00:04:19 00:04:22 like you don't want to be like do you
00:04:20 00:04:24 have any questions or are you looking
00:04:22 00:04:25 for the best laptop because i know where
00:04:24 00:04:27 they are like
00:04:25 00:04:28 no you give them some different levels
00:04:27 00:04:30 of commitment right
00:04:28 00:04:32 no i don't want to tok to you yeah i'm
00:04:30 00:04:34 just kind of looking at them and
00:04:32 00:04:36 now i've given you permission to just
00:04:34 00:04:38 look or yeah there is something in
00:04:36 00:04:39 partikular you're looking for or have
00:04:38 00:04:40 you been shopping
00:04:39 00:04:41 so the idea here is you kind of give
00:04:40 00:04:42 them a couple options while you're
00:04:41 00:04:43 toking but they'd always come in and
00:04:42 00:04:45 they'd say that i do the same thing hey
00:04:43 00:04:47 what brings you in today you guys just
00:04:45 00:04:48 taking a look at stuff are you just
00:04:47 00:04:50 kicking some tires or is there something
00:04:48 00:04:51 in partikular you're trying to figure
00:04:50 00:04:52 out
00:04:51 00:04:54 yeah i don't know we're just kind of
00:04:52 00:04:55 looking so then if they stood there for
00:04:54 00:04:57 three or more seconds they start looking
00:04:55 00:04:58 at labels there's only one reason to
00:04:57 00:04:59 look at a label you're either computer
00:04:58 00:05:00 enthusiast or you're going to buy a
00:04:59 00:05:01 laptop right
00:05:00 00:05:03 so then i'd be like oh cool is there so
00:05:01 00:05:04 is there one in partikular because i
00:05:03 00:05:05 kind of know the way all the sales go
00:05:04 00:05:07 and everything
00:05:05 00:05:09 um but otherwise if you're looking to
00:05:07 00:05:10 buy a laptop just you know
00:05:09 00:05:12 um you know you have all these different
00:05:10 00:05:13 brands but the first thing i do is just
00:05:12 00:05:15 kind of decide
00:05:13 00:05:17 what size do you like you know we got
00:05:15 00:05:19 small portable ones kind of medium size
00:05:17 00:05:21 then high performance big ones right
00:05:19 00:05:23 and then if you're doing any gaming or
00:05:21 00:05:26 anything like that so who's the laptop
00:05:23 00:05:29 for and i do this assumption pivot
00:05:26 00:05:31 into this question and it would all
00:05:29 00:05:33 always lead to the same thing
00:05:31 00:05:35 well then they'd like confess to you
00:05:33 00:05:38 they've held back but now you've been
00:05:35 00:05:41 so like you know upbeat kind of
00:05:38 00:05:41 not too pushy but not too behind the
00:05:41 00:05:43 scenes and
00:05:41 00:05:44 they always seem the same thing here in
00:05:43 00:05:47 minnesota
00:05:44 00:05:49 you know i'm buying a laptop for my
00:05:47 00:05:50 daughter and uh you know i don't want
00:05:49 00:05:52 anything too expensive
00:05:50 00:05:54 and really we don't need anything too
00:05:52 00:05:56 fancy um we're just looking for
00:05:54 00:05:58 just something that's just right it's
00:05:56 00:05:59 like well no duh
00:05:58 00:06:01 actually i'm looking for something
00:05:59 00:06:03 that's too expensive and i'd like
00:06:01 00:06:05 something that has things i don't need
00:06:03 00:06:07 like you think think about that question
00:06:05 00:06:09 but i'm not kidding like it was like
00:06:07 00:06:10 40 of the people i toked to would say
00:06:09 00:06:12 this exact same thing
00:06:10 00:06:14 and the psychology behind it is that
00:06:12 00:06:15 they don't want to get manipulated to
00:06:14 00:06:17 buy something they don't want to
00:06:15 00:06:18 they don't want to they're trying to
00:06:17 00:06:20 frame up the fact that like i'm just
00:06:18 00:06:21 middle of the road man don't push me
00:06:20 00:06:23 into stuff i don't need
00:06:21 00:06:25 i've got my guard up because we all have
00:06:23 00:06:26 our guard up right because there's
00:06:25 00:06:27 always people trying to manipulate us in
00:06:26 00:06:29 sales
00:06:27 00:06:31 and your business customers are the same
00:06:29 00:06:32 way in fact they're probably more so if
00:06:31 00:06:35 if you didn't know this your business
00:06:32 00:06:38 customers are getting calls both robotik
00:06:35 00:06:39 and good non-stop from people trying to
00:06:38 00:06:40 get a piece of them they're trying to
00:06:39 00:06:42 separate them from their hard-earned
00:06:40 00:06:43 dollars right i get
00:06:42 00:06:45 software companies all the time calling
00:06:43 00:06:47 me and all sorts of people approaching
00:06:45 00:06:48 them business owners get a fatigue there
00:06:47 00:06:51 so
00:06:48 00:06:51 um now imagine you get onto a website
00:06:51 00:06:54 and
00:06:51 00:06:56 the website immediately frames up this
00:06:54 00:06:58 grandiose commitment
00:06:56 00:07:00 not only am i going to do your taxes but
00:06:58 00:07:01 i'm going to brush your teeth for you
00:07:00 00:07:02 we're going to become part of the family
00:07:01 00:07:03 we're going to have the deepest
00:07:02 00:07:05 relationship ever i'm going to help you
00:07:03 00:07:07 reduce your taxes
00:07:05 00:07:09 save your time all that right what
00:07:07 00:07:11 happens is there becomes
00:07:09 00:07:13 a welling up within that business owner
00:07:11 00:07:16 that starts to feel like you're pushing
00:07:13 00:07:18 me into the premium package right
00:07:16 00:07:19 so you gotta battle that the whole time
00:07:18 00:07:22 and this is something that
00:07:19 00:07:24 you know as you tok about value and as
00:07:22 00:07:25 you tok about these grandiose value
00:07:24 00:07:28 propositions
00:07:25 00:07:29 you have to be very cognizant not to
00:07:28 00:07:31 push them over
00:07:29 00:07:33 so that they feel like you're trying to
00:07:31 00:07:36 get them into a premium solution
00:07:33 00:07:38 and it's too fancy here's what the
00:07:36 00:07:40 business owner wants
00:07:38 00:07:41 just do my taxes you know while you're
00:07:40 00:07:43 in it
00:07:41 00:07:45 if you find anything that'll reduce my
00:07:43 00:07:46 taxes that's good
00:07:45 00:07:48 i don't know do you do i mean i don't
00:07:46 00:07:49 need anything fancy but i just need
00:07:48 00:07:50 someone to like do my books throughout
00:07:49 00:07:52 the year
00:07:50 00:07:54 i'm telling you that's the way they all
00:07:52 00:07:55 think if they don't
00:07:54 00:07:57 they're going to be that 2500 a month
00:07:55 00:07:59 and you can find them but what i'm
00:07:57 00:08:00 trying to equip you here with is that
00:07:59 00:08:02 the middle of the road entrepreneur
00:08:00 00:08:03 business owner right um where there's
00:08:02 00:08:05 kind of two stages i think there's the
00:08:03 00:08:07 individual guys that
00:08:05 00:08:08 and gals that are subcontractors real
00:08:07 00:08:10 estate agents they're they're
00:08:08 00:08:11 consultants they're being paid 1099
00:08:10 00:08:13 or they're just their own little
00:08:11 00:08:14 business they don't have any employees
00:08:13 00:08:15 that's one side
00:08:14 00:08:18 and then the other side and that's an
00:08:15 00:08:19 efficient that's all about efficiency
00:08:18 00:08:20 for you and then on the other side you
00:08:19 00:08:22 have these more complete they have
00:08:20 00:08:23 they have employees they have a little
00:08:22 00:08:24 bit more going on right they might have
00:08:23 00:08:26 some ap
00:08:24 00:08:27 ar they have more employees to run
00:08:26 00:08:29 payroll with
00:08:27 00:08:30 those folks are looking you as a staff
00:08:29 00:08:33 alternative right but
00:08:30 00:08:35 the idea here is your language needs to
00:08:33 00:08:38 always start with the very basic
00:08:35 00:08:39 hey i tell you what we do small business
00:08:38 00:08:41 taxes
00:08:39 00:08:42 and we do accounting and bookkeeping
00:08:41 00:08:43 just to make sure that your books are
00:08:42 00:08:46 all set up
00:08:43 00:08:48 but really what we're all about is kind
00:08:46 00:08:50 of three things
00:08:48 00:08:52 so notike what i'm doing there start
00:08:50 00:08:54 with the easiest okay
00:08:52 00:08:56 because until you check off those two
00:08:54 00:08:58 bookmarks of hey
00:08:56 00:09:00 if you just want tax returns we do we
00:08:58 00:09:02 only do small business tax returns we do
00:09:00 00:09:03 your personal too if you own a business
00:09:02 00:09:05 and we do bookkeeping we'll make sure
00:09:03 00:09:06 your books are always up to date
00:09:05 00:09:09 and then lean in but you know what we're
00:09:06 00:09:11 really about we're all about giving you
00:09:09 00:09:12 proactive advice through the year see
00:09:11 00:09:15 when we're doing your books
00:09:12 00:09:17 it's not just some guy overseas it's not
00:09:15 00:09:18 just some person that doesn't know your
00:09:17 00:09:20 business
00:09:18 00:09:21 we're gonna get really in tune to what's
00:09:20 00:09:23 going on in your business and the three
00:09:21 00:09:25 things we do is one
00:09:23 00:09:27 we're gonna show you all the tips and
00:09:25 00:09:29 tricks we're gonna do them for you
00:09:27 00:09:30 to make sure that you reduce your taxes
00:09:29 00:09:32 as much as possible number two we're
00:09:30 00:09:34 gonna like just do all the books
00:09:32 00:09:36 so we do the bookkeeping we do the
00:09:34 00:09:38 accounting we give you reporting
00:09:36 00:09:40 we just make life easy for you and then
00:09:38 00:09:41 we do it better than everybody else a
00:09:40 00:09:43 lot of people don't know this that
00:09:41 00:09:46 we p we keep you compliant so we save
00:09:43 00:09:48 you taxes we make your life easy just
00:09:46 00:09:49 doing it all for you and we're going to
00:09:48 00:09:50 keep you compliant because we know how
00:09:49 00:09:52 to do it well
00:09:50 00:09:53 right now you can add some variations in
00:09:52 00:09:56 there but
00:09:53 00:09:58 you must start with even messaging wise
00:09:56 00:10:00 somebody needs to get to your website
00:09:58 00:10:03 and they need to clearly see
00:10:00 00:10:04 what you do we help small businesses
00:10:03 00:10:07 with their taxes
00:10:04 00:10:09 and accounting we we help small business
00:10:07 00:10:12 owners with tax
00:10:09 00:10:14 accounting and bookkeeping services then
00:10:12 00:10:17 underneath that
00:10:14 00:10:18 you need to say we're one of the best at
00:10:17 00:10:19 doing small
00:10:18 00:10:21 business taxes but what we're really
00:10:19 00:10:22 passionate about and what's unique about
00:10:21 00:10:24 us
00:10:22 00:10:25 is that we're not your everyday
00:10:24 00:10:27 accountant we're going to go
00:10:25 00:10:28 in and make sure that you pay your fair
00:10:27 00:10:30 share and taxes
00:10:28 00:10:31 and not a penny mark that's the word i
00:10:30 00:10:33 use you can use whatever you want
00:10:31 00:10:34 whatever that is but i'm telling you
00:10:33 00:10:36 folks
00:10:34 00:10:37 in our attempt to make sure that we're
00:10:36 00:10:39 delivering great value and this i i've
00:10:37 00:10:40 been listening to some of these guys i
00:10:39 00:10:40 don't even remember what their names are
00:10:40 00:10:42 but
00:10:40 00:10:44 mandy that my uh my friend and other
00:10:42 00:10:45 accountant that own it's accounting she
00:10:44 00:10:48 was showing me
00:10:45 00:10:49 a whole bunch of these uh yeah what was
00:10:48 00:10:52 it was like a landing page
00:10:49 00:10:56 this bobby or bobby bobert
00:10:52 00:10:58 robert bobby i don't know
00:10:56 00:11:00 anyways i'll find it here the idea is
00:10:58 00:11:02 they're all about like
00:11:00 00:11:04 oh my gosh you have to find people that
00:11:02 00:11:07 value what you value
00:11:04 00:11:09 and you have to sell based on value and
00:11:07 00:11:10 you need to do this well the first thing
00:11:09 00:11:12 the first part of this guys you got to
00:11:10 00:11:14 be really careful
00:11:12 00:11:16 that you don't come across as too fancy
00:11:14 00:11:18 you always got to start out with just
00:11:16 00:11:20 saying hey i tell you what
00:11:18 00:11:21 don't get overambitious overly eager
00:11:20 00:11:22 because i'm going to get into the second
00:11:21 00:11:25 phase of this in the next video
00:11:22 00:11:26 that first thing is is you cannot appear
00:11:25 00:11:29 to be too fancy
00:11:26 00:11:30 what you need is just like a fish okay
00:11:29 00:11:32 if you're fishing
00:11:30 00:11:33 and you're fishing for walleyes and
00:11:32 00:11:34 you're jigging you're just trying to
00:11:33 00:11:36 present a simple
00:11:34 00:11:37 thing and it hooks it and you can't
00:11:36 00:11:40 horse it in
00:11:37 00:11:42 and horsing it in is appearing to be way
00:11:40 00:11:44 too deep and wait and i'm
00:11:42 00:11:45 guilty of that trying to be too big of a
00:11:44 00:11:47 solution
00:11:45 00:11:48 their main thing is i don't want to go
00:11:47 00:11:50 to jail for not doing my taxes i don't
00:11:48 00:11:51 want to owe a ton of money
00:11:50 00:11:53 i don't want to deal with this crap i
00:11:51 00:11:54 want someone to do it for me and i want
00:11:53 00:11:56 it done right
00:11:54 00:11:58 and by the way i'd like some reporting
00:11:56 00:12:00 and some consulting
00:11:58 00:12:02 that's their their core necessities in
00:12:00 00:12:05 fact i'll add on to that guys
00:12:02 00:12:06 you own the thing that every other
00:12:05 00:12:09 financial rep
00:12:06 00:12:11 whether it's a cfp a financial planner
00:12:09 00:12:14 an investment representative
00:12:11 00:12:16 a commercial sales person a pnc uh
00:12:14 00:12:17 insurance salesman um whether they're
00:12:16 00:12:20 doing
00:12:17 00:12:21 like big in-depth like retirement
00:12:20 00:12:24 planning it doesn't matter what they
00:12:21 00:12:26 they want to be the tax person because
00:12:24 00:12:29 accountants are positioned as like
00:12:26 00:12:31 the number one um solver of problems and
00:12:29 00:12:33 they're the authority
00:12:31 00:12:34 they have to do their taxes if they
00:12:33 00:12:38 don't
00:12:34 00:12:40 people throw them in jail like literally
00:12:38 00:12:41 so you need to at least get them on the
00:12:40 00:12:43 hook
00:12:41 00:12:46 for small business taxes like that's the
00:12:43 00:12:48 number one thing in fact i would argue
00:12:46 00:12:50 that even if somebody comes to you and
00:12:48 00:12:51 says i don't want any of your other
00:12:50 00:12:53 services
00:12:51 00:12:55 the one service that i'm okay with you
00:12:53 00:12:57 doing is doing tax returns for people
00:12:55 00:13:00 that have small business taxes
00:12:57 00:13:01 where i say don't say yes to other taxes
00:13:00 00:13:04 so that you can focus on the
00:13:01 00:13:06 the great don't say good just one-off
00:13:04 00:13:07 tax returns because then you can't do
00:13:06 00:13:09 the good
00:13:07 00:13:11 i'll hit on this a little bit more but
00:13:09 00:13:12 you you should say yes to every business
00:13:11 00:13:14 tax
00:13:12 00:13:16 client that you possibly can because
00:13:14 00:13:17 they will get to a point where they want
00:13:16 00:13:19 more
00:13:17 00:13:20 in fact if you're good at what you do
00:13:19 00:13:22 your passion
00:13:20 00:13:24 and your thrill for helping them
00:13:22 00:13:26 maximize their opportunity should lead
00:13:24 00:13:29 you to a point where you're saying
00:13:26 00:13:30 you guys i gotta help you you cannot you
00:13:29 00:13:32 cannot persist in this we have to make
00:13:30 00:13:35 this better so
00:13:32 00:13:37 again don't be too fancy just whenever
00:13:35 00:13:40 you're toking or any of your messaging
00:13:37 00:13:42 it's small business tax returns
00:13:40 00:13:43 bookkeeping and payroll just keep
00:13:42 00:13:46 you always need to check out hey i tell
00:13:43 00:13:48 you what we do small business taxes and
00:13:46 00:13:49 we do like bookkeeping and accountant
00:13:48 00:13:50 but really what we're all about is kind
00:13:49 00:13:52 of two things and you can get into
00:13:50 00:13:53 however you want to pivot from there
00:13:52 00:13:54 there's probably 10 different ways to do
00:13:53 00:13:57 it what we're really about is two things
00:13:54 00:13:59 one we give you proactive coaching
00:13:57 00:14:00 through the year to reduce your taxes
00:13:59 00:14:03 and we do it for you like you don't have
00:14:00 00:14:05 to mess around we just do it all for you
00:14:03 00:14:07 and then number two we're kind of a
00:14:05 00:14:10 one-stop shop where we do
00:14:07 00:14:11 all the accounting for you and it you
00:14:10 00:14:12 know every business is different so we
00:14:11 00:14:13 can kind of look at this but here's what
00:14:12 00:14:16 i'd like to do
00:14:13 00:14:16 one if i could take a look at your tax
00:14:16 00:14:18 return
00:14:16 00:14:20 what i can do is just give it a look and
00:14:18 00:14:21 find out if there's any low hanging
00:14:20 00:14:23 fruit for taxes
00:14:21 00:14:24 and then i'd love to peek into your
00:14:23 00:14:26 account and i can come back and say hey
00:14:24 00:14:27 here's some opportunities to save some
00:14:26 00:14:28 taxes
00:14:27 00:14:30 and if you wanted us to do your
00:14:28 00:14:31 bookkeeping which we'd love to do and
00:14:30 00:14:32 all your payroll and all that here's
00:14:31 00:14:33 what it would cost so if you like the
00:14:32 00:14:36 idea of that
00:14:33 00:14:38 would you want us to do that and then
00:14:36 00:14:40 oh yeah okay get the tax return more on
00:14:38 00:14:41 that later but uh
00:14:40 00:14:43 you can't appear to be too fancy if
00:14:41 00:14:44 you're too fancy they're going to be
00:14:43 00:14:45 freaking out and they're not going to
00:14:44 00:14:47 want to work with you so
00:14:45 00:14:48 good luck god bless hey if you need help
00:14:47 00:14:51 with this guys we can do
00:14:48 00:14:55 consulting calls on top of this and
00:14:51 00:14:55 we'll help you do a ton here
