Hello everyone. I'm Anna from Sellvia. My today's guest is Goran Andersen from Norway, who has already tried a number of ecommerce solutions but finally chose Sellvia. Thanks a lot for accepting my invitation to the interview. Could you please tell us about yourself and your background? Yeah well, thanks for having me. I'm 37 years old, a single parent from Oslo, Norway. My daily job is a production manager for Volkswagen Dealership, so I know my way around cars. Also, I've done some online courses in web design and organizational management. Сould you please tell us more about your previous experience in ecommerce before you explored Sellvia? Yeah well, I have done WordPress many times before and WooCommerce and also Shopify. who hasn't? But of course testing is good, but then in scaling it has only made me lost money. So why did you finally choose Sellvia in the first place? Because of the supplier part of it. I knew about the shipping times that most likely they cannot be guaranteed, so when I experienced that as well, I also got a little tired of doing the refunds and so on and trying to explain why customers are not showing up. Yeah, I feel your pain. I used AliExpress previously, so I know. And did you make any significant changes to your store before starting your marketing efforts And have you tried any Sellvia's services to improve your store's performance? Yeah, I realized when I got the store it seemed a little generic, you know. So I didn't think you get sales if you're not trying to get a little out there, you know. So I bought a new team and hired some people on Fiverr to help me build the brand, which I think will become very good, And also I used Sellvia services, Social Media Package and the Email Marketing. I also believe in branding these days. So what did you do to achieve your first sales in your Sellvia store? Please reveal your amazing tactik to our community. Well, it was not the sales tactik at all. It was just to get likes, subscribers to the email services. So I was hoping for sales later on, but started to— you know- the Sellvia Social Media Services. I asked them to do this as one of the first posts to have a contest which I used the landing page add-on for. It was very good and didn't need so much editing. And from there, Facebook ads, traffic campaign And, of course, every like, every engagement I got. I always message them with "thank you". I'm trying to get a conversation After the contest was done. I did two giveaways in that contest. Those two wanted to buy another product, which was very good, But then the Email Marketing, I think, came to place and I got some- you know- messages on Facebook. So, with a little discount as well, I may add, we got 10 sales in total in two weeks. So that was pretty fun and unexpected. That's great. It's just an amazing strategy and I believe that everyone can apply this strategy. So, what kind of products are you selling? What niche did you choose and why? Well, I chose the little niche, of course, because it's my- you know, 20 years of experience. I think it's the best way for me to get started. And also, I have checked Google Trends. It's very good and stable, But, as for now, we are selling- selling the vacuum cleaner, some storage organizers, some charging gadgets. hopefully there'll be more products to save for retirement. Yes, So follow your passion and you'll succeed in what you're doing, right? What can you say about managing your turnkey commerce website daily? Well, of course, I'm familiar with WordPress, but I think it's quite normal interface, but of course, it's a lot of work in the start. we have to realize that, And you know, track everything you can to get traffic. you know It's blogging, it's being active on social media, you know To tok, to anyone who grows, basically. But you need to do some steps. Does Sellvia have everything you need to make your business profitable and easy? How would you rate software from one to ten? Well, I think you're at seven, because it's a lot of good, but of course, I see some potential. Okay, thanks, We know that there is always room for improvement and we are working on it. Thanks, anyway, Many people worry about the official side of running an online store. Did you register your business officially? What are the requirements in your country? Well, since I'm not selling in my home country, it's only sales taxes, really, or income taxes, I mean, But here it's required as long as you're making money. But of course, I had my company listed. I just changed what I bring in it. Do you use Stripe or PayPal? I only use Stripe. How did ecommerce change your life overall? Well, it's been a dream for a long time, you know. So, when this strategy works, you allow yourself to read your dreams a little, but of course it hasn't completely changed yet, But it's going to right. Well, you just started right. What would you recommend to ecommerce newbies? Well, like I did when I started, you know, draw a picture of who my customers are and you know, look at other brands, sneak peek at some profiles and so on To draw that picture and describe your avatar. It's crucial, I think, because you have to understand what will trigger them, Like in every business. So, in your opinion, what's the key to success? Well, to be persistent. I think This is a business where you can't just work for one week and try to be happy - not my experience at least, But I believe that failing is your biggest success. What do your friends and family think about your ecommerce business? Just two people know about it yet, to be honest: My brother and my best friend from from college. What about your daughter? Is she your motivation? Yeah, of course she is. Of course the time freedom is what triggered me to do this. I want more than one hour in the afternoon with her, you know. Do economic slowdowns affect your, your activities or earnings in any way? Well, I can see the conversion ads are more slow than I remember them before, But I also know there's been changes on Facebook and so on. I think it's a combination, But actually I had contacts within social media who stated they can't afford it right. So I think there is a phase. yes, Any ambitious plans for the future? Well, I had a plan to make this business work and try to move it, also in my country. but also I have a fishing niche which I'm passionate about, So maybe start a second store. So what niche? How I Made $3K Yesterday Dropshipping In One Country (Product Revealed)

so this is my shopify store and, as you can see, i generated three thousand dollars yesterday drop shipping to one country. in this video i'm gonna break down the whole strategy of how i found the product, how i'm consistently beating my competition, how i'm scaling the product, and throughout the end of this video i'm even going to reveal the product to try to be as transparent as possible. but don't go ahead and skip to the end of this video just because i said i would reveal the product, because the product is not going to make sense if you don't hear the whole strategy. and the strategy i'm going to teach you now is something i've touched on a tiny bit in the past, but it's still gonna be a ton of new information and if you're new to my channel, make sure to set aside five to ten minutes to watch this video. don't be one of the people who clicks off, because this strategy is guaranteed the absolute best go-to strategy for anyone that is starting dropshipping and currently are struggling to find winning products. or you find yourself spam testing, spending thousands of dollars testing product on facebook ads just hoping for success. if that is you, or if it sounds familiar, you got to get onto this strategy, because i found this product earlier this month and i didn't even test it. it performed well instantly, straight out of the gate. so when you follow the strategy that i'm about to teach you, you pretty much eliminate testing. so when you have a proven to work strategy, everything is probably going to work out in your favor. but i'm not going to drag it out. let's get into the strategy. what's going on? everyone? i'm henrik and in this video i'm going to break down my shopify store that did three thousand dollars in sales yesterday, drop shipping one product to one country. this video is probably going to be one of the more valuable videos on my channel, so make sure to watch it. but, as i said, i'm not gonna drag out the time, so let's get into it. so i was actually running this product and stored on the brand new ads manager. i didn't have any advantages. i had no pixel, i didn't have a good or warmed up ad account in any way, so i realized that there will be zero chance for me to break into the us market or to drop ship to the top five countries, and i constantly see beginners stay in this loop forever. they are drop shipping to the top five countries: canada, australia, new zealand, united states and united kingdom. i just had to reboot my brand there real quick. but those are the top five countries and when you drop ship to them, especially in 2022, you're gonna have an extremely high cost per click and your ads is not really going to reach anyone because it's just going to be so expensive. and when you don't get rich because it's super expensive and you're just competing in a super saturated market, you're not really going to get data either. your audience is never going to be warm or optimized. so i just don't recommend you to drop ship to the us or the top five, because you're just never really going to break through there. so what i did is to try to find a trend on facebook to bring it over to another country, and i'm also going to reveal the product, so you know exactly why it worked out so well. but you're probably wondering which country i have chosen and i will go over that in a second. but before that, let me actually show you how i found the product and after that we're going to tok about the country i advertise to, why it works so well, and in the end, i'm going to reveal the exact product and i've been using this strategy on all of my students and not a single one of them have failed. in fact, none of them have failed to make less than a hundred thousand dollars in a strategy i used. all right. so actually, in like four hours i'm going to amsterdam for a big eco mastermind or meetup. i'm basically going to connect with other people in the ecomm space who are killing it with their brands and doing tiktok, drop shipping, facebook ads, just everything we tok about on this channel. so when i come back from that trip, i guarantee you that i'm gonna have the best strategies to date. so hopefully you smash a like on this video and subscribe to my channel. but let me show the strategy though. so, as you know, if you've been watching my channel for the past couple of months, you know that i'm all about taking a kind of sound to your product and putting it into on top market, and this is exactly what i did. so i tend to do product research on the facebook feed, and the reason for that is because the facebook news feed is just the best place to find trends. so i went on to facebook newsfeed and i was basically just browsing it for some time trying to look for a good product and, as you probably know by now, every third or fourth post on facebook is going to be an ad, and if you click on drop shipping ads you're going to get led straight into the next dropshipping ad. so let's actually do it. so we come over to the facebook feed and we start scrolling and, as you can see, i just pulled up an ad. pretty sure, this is the galaxy projector. yes, it is. they've been running out for a really long time. they just have to be making money. yeah, absolutely. i mean, as you see, it has 2.5 k comments. they probably been running this ad for like two years. at this point. i just keep seeing the same store pop up over and over again but pretend that this product is not as saturated. this is just an example, so don't take it like super literal. i would go for a product that's a little bit less saturated, because this product has been pretty much all over the world. but what i will do is. i will pull up their store and see how i could kind of like beat them. as you can see, this bright pitch is not really that interesting, but i will say it's like really clean, but in some way maybe we could beat it. but in my opinion we don't really have to beat them. we don't really have to be better than them in any way, and this is why this strategy is so easy, because we're not going to compete in the same market. so when we compete to another market that's never even seen this store, it doesn't really matter if it's better than oars. but obviously we want to try to have a good story. but i'm going to take this product and i'm obviously going to dropship it to one country and you will never really know which countries the store is targeting for their ads. but we can go ahead and assume that they don't really specify into the german market, for example. so what we can do is we can take this product and let's just say they're selling it to mainly the us. i mean, you would have to assume you will never know for sure, but let's just assume they're selling it to the united states. we can take this right and run it to australia. we can also take this product and run it to germany, netherlands- there is a ton of good countries. i mean, i would probably even run it to my own country. but, as i said, this product is just an example, so don't take it like super literal. but what i'm going to do is i'm going to set up a one product store for this country and i'm going to pick out the country, and the country you pick out doesn't really matter, just make sure that it's not the us, because the whole point of this strategy is to get reached to a high level country for half the price of drop shipping to the us and most of the modern countries in, for example, europe is going to be perfect for this strategy. so before i'm running it, i would probably go to facebook ad library right here and what i'm going to do is i'm going to select the united states and i'm going to do all ads and then i'm going to search for galaxy projector and we're just gonna quickly see how saturated this is. uh, but obviously, as you know, this is super saturated. it's just an example, but, as we can see, there are- yeah, there's- a store that's pushing this product heavily.

👀 What You NEED To Know Before Dropshipping

you know what, despite the several successful dropshipping case studies on this channel, i still occasionally get people leaving comments like drop shipping is dead, if it was ever properly alive to begin with. increasing e packet rate- it literally kills drop shipping. it's too late for this business. most businesses fail. i will never waste my time and money trying to start a business ever again, and if you're smart, you'll do the same thing. hmm, yeah, well, okay, obviously, i strongly disagree with those comments, because here's the thing: a lot of people will say things like drop shipping is dead or it's too late, or businesses don't work, and the reason why they're saying these things is because they are making several assumptions that are all wrong, and so, if you are looking to start a store, it's crucial, then, that you understand what these assumptions are before you start drop shipping so that, unlike these people, your store can be successful, because, no, it is not too late. one people won't buy from you. they'll just buy from amazon instead. but wait, sarah, you ask: why would anyone buy products from me if they can buy products directly from amazon themselves? now, it is absolutely true that if you head on over to amazon, that you will find lots of products that can be purchased directly from aliexpress, sitting on amazon's digital shelf as well. and, of course, if customers were to purchase your products on amazon, they would then get to take advantage of their prime two-day shipping. so how on earth could drop shippers successfully dropship these guitar coffee spoons with two to three week shipping via china's cheapest, fastest shipping option- a packet, when a customer could come and buy them on amazon with two-day shipping? i mean, come on, sarah, just think about it. amazon is only growing. in q3 2019, their product sales were up over 17 from the same time in 2018.. won't amazon steal away all of our sales? no, no, they will not. you see, here's the thing. there is some truth to these comments. amazon is arguably the better deal for usa citizens. it is better for the consumer to purchase the products on amazon. so if they figure out that the product that you are selling them is indeed on amazon for purchase, you can bet that amazon will take that sale away from you. but you know what? we literally don't care. and you know what? drop shippers never have the sorts of people who see a product and decide that they're going to research the absolute best deal, for it were never our customers in the first place. nope, it's the 44 of people that impulsively purchase products online that we are targeting and, of course, as shown by how millennials are even more prone to impulsive purchases, with 80 of them impulsively buying products, the overall percentage of impulse e-commerce purchases for us to target as drop shippers is only growing and growing. you see, successful drop shipping stores are built around that target customer, the type of customer that enjoys impulsively purchasing products. it also means that the successful drop shipping stores are usually built around selling products that spike an emotion in a customer that makes them think: i need to buy this right now. it's why this aliexpress dog caller has made hundreds of thousands of dollars. the advertising dropshippers used spike fear and dog owners pointing out how many dogs dying in car accidents each year from not being seen. that is why, when recently, i saw this comment from this viewer asking why their online store wasn't successful, i pretty much instantly knew that the store would be selling extremely boring products. and lo and behold, i was right. now, of course, this is actually a print on demand store, not a drop shipping store, but the exact same principle applies. why would somebody want to buy this hoodie when they can go to amazon and find cheaper hoodies and shirts with inspirational messages on there, because here is the reality. typing vision in a plain white circle is not exciting. so let's compare this hoodie to this hoodie. what is the difference between the two? well, the difference is that one hoodie is very boring and the other is extremely interesting, unique and unlike anything people are likely to have seen before, which is why this hoodie's facebook advertising campaign made so much money for the successful aliexpress dropshipping store. freaky pet. and, of course, if you're ever wondering, this exact same answer applies to the people that ask the question: why would customers not go directly to aliexpress themselves? well, again, it's because good aliexpress drop shippers sell products that trigger emotions on people and get them to impulsively buy their products, so that they never even think to go check if a product is on aliexpress, because they see and go. that's so amazing. i must buy one now. and, by the way, if you've learned something from this video and you would like to learn even more about starting a successful drop shipping store, then be sure to subscribe and click that little notification bell next to it so that you don't miss out on any of our videos. two, dropshipping is a scam. i just want to quickly address this because these comments are really dumb. you know, you might have notiked that earlier in this video i freely admitted that it would be a fast, superior financial choice for a customer to buy this hoodie on amazon with two day shipping for a fraction of the price compared to what they would pay for it on freaky pet. and so what do people say to that? oh, the customer can get it cheaper, elsewhere, quicker. that makes your store a scam. nope, it does not. number one: if it weren't for your facebook ad, the customer would never have known about that product that they really enjoyed getting in the first place. people really love this hoodie and we're really grateful that it was advertised to them and they bought it. you had to pay for that advertising to do that, which you pass on to the customer. amazon doesn't advertise products. customers have to find them themselves. and number two, as an entrepreneur, you are in no way obligated to offer your product for the lowest price. here are two coffee shops around the corner from my apartment. they are across the road from each other. i walked into coffee shop a and bought my favorite coffee, a long black, for three dollars- and yes, i know that overseas the phrase long black might conjure up some different thoughts, but here in new zealand, and over in australia too, a long black simply refers to pouring an espresso shot over 100 to 120 mls of boiling water to create a stronger version of an americano with creamer. next i went into coffee shop b and again order long black, but this time it cost four dollars- completely different prices for an extremely similar product. and you know what? coffee shop a's three dollar coffee was the best. would you say that coffee shop b is a scam for charging a higher price for a worse version of this coffee? no, you would not. pricing is entirely subjective and is actually determined by the customer, not you. you present the customer with the price and it is up to them to decide if that price is worth it or not. and at the end of the day, if freaky pet are able to create a marketing campaign that gets people to purchase their hoodie for a higher price while being entirely upfront about the shipping times, then they 100 deserve that sale. 3. drop shipping is saturated. perhaps the most bizarre of all the claims is that drop shipping is dead and it's over since. well, it's saturated. and the truth is when i see comments like this, it blows my mind, because this comment literally makes no sense. here is what market saturation literally is. it's when a product has been maximized in a market, in other words, when all of the people who would want that product have bought it already. and here is what drop shipping is. drop shipping is when a customer buys a product that you've listed in your store for a markup price. when they do, you go to the manufacturer and you purchase that one product for the wholesale price and then have the

I don't have time to explain absolutely everything I can do because I don't want to bore you guys and I want to keep the video interesting, but that's what we're going to be using in this video and, more specifically, we're going to be using the tiktok ads feature so you guys can filter It Out by date. so I've already filtered out from the first to the 30th of this month. you can filter It Out by countries, but we're not going to be using that, although it can come in handy sometimes. now, Ecom type is going to be the platform they're using to host their stores, so we're going to be using Shopify and then likes- let's do 500 and up, and we can adjust this later on if necessary, if you can't find anything good, and then you can also do plays, which would be the views. but we're not going to be messing with that and now I'm just going to start scrolling through these and seeing if we can find anything good and I'll update you guys once I find something. so see you guys soon, later, okay, guys. so I found the product that I want to test, and it's this Cactus toy- for kids mainly, I guess- which just kind of repeats whatever you say. I'm sure you guys have already seen it because it's been super viral. yeah, it just kind of repeats whatever you say and it dances. that's pretty much that's what it does. I know it's got really big viral potential because the product's already old. I know there's a lot of content for it and it's also a relatively cheap product. you know you can sell something like this for like twenty dollars. it's not really gonna be that difficult to convince people to buy it. now, when you go over to see product, which takes us to the product page, we consider these guys are selling it in Romania, it looks like. so their product page is in Romanian. I've just translated it with Google translate. yeah, they're selling it for 79.90 late, which comes out to like 16, I think. plus they're charging for shipping and the shipping is 17 late, which comes out to 101.79. and I found the exact same product on AliExpress for 5.63 cents and four dollars for shipping, with a shipping time of about a month, which is not the best. but it's not that bad either, especially for testing, because if it doesn't work out doesn't really matter. if it does, we can find a better supplier. and, yeah, it sold quite a bit. it's got 2 000 orders, almost 400 reviews and a 4.5 star rating. so if we're selling it for, let's say, 19.99, we would have about like 10 in margin, which is not the best. like ideally we want to have maybe 15- 20 on a product like this. but since these guys are selling it in Romania, where the purchasing power is a lot smaller and we're going to be focusing on the English-speaking Market, I think we can get away with a bigger price. and now that we found the product, I'm just going to order a store for it. so again, I'm going to be using star stores, as always. if it's your first time watching my video, these guys just create a store completely for you. you just give them a bit of information and they take care of everything else. if you guys want to use them, you can use c.

I've always wanted to become a successful drop shipper on tiktok, but the problem is I've been putting it off forever and I really only know the basics: buy the product you're gonna sell so you can start making content with it and then drive traffic from all those videos to the link in your bio on tik tok, which is going to be your Shopify store. and it really does seem easy because there's no advertising cost and people go viral left, right and Center on tiktok. so if there's only one thing we can do for the next week, I'm gonna put every little bit of energy I have into becoming the best drop shipper on tiktok you've ever seen and see if these gurus are actually toking some sense with Drop Shipping on tiktok or if they're just toking out of their ass. point: one million views broke. did you hear that? got a sale a second ago, boys. so the first thing I need to do is find my product. this is by far the easiest and hardest step, because it's the easiest thing to do, but it's the most crucial thing for your store. a lot of people will take so much time to find product, but since I only have a week, I got to do this fast. the criteria I'm looking for is a product under 50 bucks just starting to blow up on tiktok and it has to solve a problem. I'm gonna go on tiktok right now and search up tiktok, maybe buy it and try and find a product that is under those criteria. I'll get back to you guys when I get one. all right boys, we found the product. they're fifty dollars. it's just starting to blow up. it solves a problem. ordering the product right now it's around 22 dollars- not bad at all, really the only expenses for this entire challenge. so I just bought my product on Amazon- 22.38- and it said it's gonna get here tomorrow at 10 pm and I want to create content right when it gets here. so there's a few things I need to do so I can actually do that. first, I need to find a brand name and grab a domain off GoDaddy around that name. then, second, I need to find a logo and then, third, I need to create my store. I don't think I might have my store done by tonight because my product doesn't get here till tomorrow night, so I'm gonna take my time on that store. all right boys, it's day number two. we got smokey, smokey eyes here. good luck, huh. oh, I got the product now and got a bright heat. now I can actually create content with this thing, so that's good. got it connected and I'm gonna be honest with you guys, because the store really did take me like eight hours. don't make fun of me in the comments, please. you guys can check it out. it's really basic. it's just basic stuff with the product and basic description with examples and reviews from AliExpress. we now have everything we need to drive some sales to our store. the store is done, we have the logo, we have the domain, we have the product and we have the tiktok account to start making content on. let's get right to it. I went viral as- let's take a look at day three. I've literally never got this much views ever on a tiktok video. was I didn't even like the video, but it, I, but guys, this video was sitting at one million views, like I have 3 000 followers on this account already, 66 000 likes, and it hasn't even been 24 hours since I've created this tiktok account. like I've never gone this viral on tiktok- and I've been on tiktok for nine months, so this challenge is on to a pretty good start. I think all I can do is just reply to all the comments and make videos out of it, because I think that's what all the other stores do, so it'll just drag more traffic to my store and it gives it more credibility, I think. so I'm gonna do that all day today and just keep trying to drive more sales, because that's all we want out of this challenge. we want to see how much money we can make in one week, and I will not let you guys down. I'm gonna make some bread this week. let's go all right boys. welcome to day four. I was really excited on day four- 4.7 million views- but it doesn't compare to anything of how I was feeling on day seven. so let's cut to that. all right boys. let me get one thing straight. I'm wearing glasses right now because I broke. did you hear that I just got a sale a second ago? I'm wearing glasses right now because I just broke a blood vessel in my eye, for screaming and getting so hyped because my video is going viral right now. I think the last time I was recording on this camera- not recording content for my product- was day four. it's now day seven and I think when I was filming then my video was at four million views or something. but you're gonna not even believe. what the video is at right now is that. it's insane. like you guys saw, I got a sale like a second ago. I literally that was not planned, that was not planned at all. I literally just started filming and it's just like ding, ding, ding, ding all day. so here is what the video is at: tiktok account is now at 12.6 000 followers- insane. I have 420 000 likes and the video is at six point one million views. I wanted this challenge, not expecting to go this viral- the most viral video I've got on tiktok and I've been on tik tok for nine months. it's 2.1 million views. that's the most power video I've ever got and I just got one, the 6.1 mil. so now let's take a look at the analytiks from the video and how much it actually converted. all right boys. so the 6.1 million views that was directed to my Shopify store got me a total of 7.78 000 people to my store, Bon Appetit. but the thing that really sucks and I'm really disappointed in myself about is I only got a 0.29 conversion rate. it's honestly kind of depressed. and now the amount of money I actually generated from the videos. keep in mind this is no advertising cost. I literally didn't pay anything other than to buy the product and make content with it, so I can't complain. I made 552 dollars in seven days and I really only made The tiktok account five days ago, so I can't complain. I can't complain at all and after all the Fulfillment costs and the product costs of when I had to buy it so I can make content, I ended up with 372 dollars final profit. but I really am going to make long-term profit from this challenge because since I created this tiktok account five days ago, it's at 12.6 000 followers and, if you guys don't know, you can make a lot of money from social media accounts, not just driving it to a Shopify store. what I'm going to do is I'm going to turn it into an unboxing Channel and get a bunch of other Drop Shipping uh stores to send me their products so I can advertise for them and I will likely get promo fees for that and make money off that. I've actually already had some people hit me up and asking for promos and as I keep growing I'm going to be able to get more expensive promos off that account. so the money I made- the 372 dollars is- is good. I'm happy with it. but I could have made it so much more if I just had a better conversion rate and a better product. when I saw my conversion was so low right off the bat when my video was going viral, there was some things I did to boost my conversion that you guys should know about. first thing, product cost. you need to be competing with people on Amazon. even if you're buying it for as almost as much as people are selling it for on Amazon. you need to either drop the product cost that shows on your uh basic product page and then put that onto your ship shipping costs so you're not actually losing money when someone buys- kind of like an illusion, because people will compare product cost compared to Amazon. that's the first thing I implemented and right when I did that I got more sales. and then the second thing is your call to action on your store. you need to have a very clear checkout process so people can pass by on your store, because people are coming from tiktok they likely have short attention spans. they have to get on your store, they have to see the checkout and they have to
