👀 What You NEED To Know Before Dropshipping

you know what, despite the several successful dropshipping case studies on this channel, i still occasionally get people leaving comments like drop shipping is dead, if it was ever properly alive to begin with. increasing e packet rate- it literally kills drop shipping. it's too late for this business. most businesses fail. i will never waste my time and money trying to start a business ever again, and if you're smart, you'll do the same thing. hmm, yeah, well, okay, obviously, i strongly disagree with those comments, because here's the thing: a lot of people will say things like drop shipping is dead or it's too late, or businesses don't work, and the reason why they're saying these things is because they are making several assumptions that are all wrong, and so, if you are looking to start a store, it's crucial, then, that you understand what these assumptions are before you start drop shipping so that, unlike these people, your store can be successful, because, no, it is not too late. one people won't buy from you. they'll just buy from amazon instead. but wait, sarah, you ask: why would anyone buy products from me if they can buy products directly from amazon themselves? now, it is absolutely true that if you head on over to amazon, that you will find lots of products that can be purchased directly from aliexpress, sitting on amazon's digital shelf as well. and, of course, if customers were to purchase your products on amazon, they would then get to take advantage of their prime two-day shipping. so how on earth could drop shippers successfully dropship these guitar coffee spoons with two to three week shipping via china's cheapest, fastest shipping option- a packet, when a customer could come and buy them on amazon with two-day shipping? i mean, come on, sarah, just think about it. amazon is only growing. in q3 2019, their product sales were up over 17 from the same time in 2018.. won't amazon steal away all of our sales? no, no, they will not. you see, here's the thing. there is some truth to these comments. amazon is arguably the better deal for usa citizens. it is better for the consumer to purchase the products on amazon. so if they figure out that the product that you are selling them is indeed on amazon for purchase, you can bet that amazon will take that sale away from you. but you know what? we literally don't care. and you know what? drop shippers never have the sorts of people who see a product and decide that they're going to research the absolute best deal, for it were never our customers in the first place. nope, it's the 44 of people that impulsively purchase products online that we are targeting and, of course, as shown by how millennials are even more prone to impulsive purchases, with 80 of them impulsively buying products, the overall percentage of impulse e-commerce purchases for us to target as drop shippers is only growing and growing. you see, successful drop shipping stores are built around that target customer, the type of customer that enjoys impulsively purchasing products. it also means that the successful drop shipping stores are usually built around selling products that spike an emotion in a customer that makes them think: i need to buy this right now. it's why this aliexpress dog caller has made hundreds of thousands of dollars. the advertising dropshippers used spike fear and dog owners pointing out how many dogs dying in car accidents each year from not being seen. that is why, when recently, i saw this comment from this viewer asking why their online store wasn't successful, i pretty much instantly knew that the store would be selling extremely boring products. and lo and behold, i was right. now, of course, this is actually a print on demand store, not a drop shipping store, but the exact same principle applies. why would somebody want to buy this hoodie when they can go to amazon and find cheaper hoodies and shirts with inspirational messages on there, because here is the reality. typing vision in a plain white circle is not exciting. so let's compare this hoodie to this hoodie. what is the difference between the two? well, the difference is that one hoodie is very boring and the other is extremely interesting, unique and unlike anything people are likely to have seen before, which is why this hoodie's facebook advertising campaign made so much money for the successful aliexpress dropshipping store. freaky pet. and, of course, if you're ever wondering, this exact same answer applies to the people that ask the question: why would customers not go directly to aliexpress themselves? well, again, it's because good aliexpress drop shippers sell products that trigger emotions on people and get them to impulsively buy their products, so that they never even think to go check if a product is on aliexpress, because they see and go. that's so amazing. i must buy one now. and, by the way, if you've learned something from this video and you would like to learn even more about starting a successful drop shipping store, then be sure to subscribe and click that little notification bell next to it so that you don't miss out on any of our videos. two, dropshipping is a scam. i just want to quickly address this because these comments are really dumb. you know, you might have notiked that earlier in this video i freely admitted that it would be a fast, superior financial choice for a customer to buy this hoodie on amazon with two day shipping for a fraction of the price compared to what they would pay for it on freaky pet. and so what do people say to that? oh, the customer can get it cheaper, elsewhere, quicker. that makes your store a scam. nope, it does not. number one: if it weren't for your facebook ad, the customer would never have known about that product that they really enjoyed getting in the first place. people really love this hoodie and we're really grateful that it was advertised to them and they bought it. you had to pay for that advertising to do that, which you pass on to the customer. amazon doesn't advertise products. customers have to find them themselves. and number two, as an entrepreneur, you are in no way obligated to offer your product for the lowest price. here are two coffee shops around the corner from my apartment. they are across the road from each other. i walked into coffee shop a and bought my favorite coffee, a long black, for three dollars- and yes, i know that overseas the phrase long black might conjure up some different thoughts, but here in new zealand, and over in australia too, a long black simply refers to pouring an espresso shot over 100 to 120 mls of boiling water to create a stronger version of an americano with creamer. next i went into coffee shop b and again order long black, but this time it cost four dollars- completely different prices for an extremely similar product. and you know what? coffee shop a's three dollar coffee was the best. would you say that coffee shop b is a scam for charging a higher price for a worse version of this coffee? no, you would not. pricing is entirely subjective and is actually determined by the customer, not you. you present the customer with the price and it is up to them to decide if that price is worth it or not. and at the end of the day, if freaky pet are able to create a marketing campaign that gets people to purchase their hoodie for a higher price while being entirely upfront about the shipping times, then they 100 deserve that sale. 3. drop shipping is saturated. perhaps the most bizarre of all the claims is that drop shipping is dead and it's over since. well, it's saturated. and the truth is when i see comments like this, it blows my mind, because this comment literally makes no sense. here is what market saturation literally is. it's when a product has been maximized in a market, in other words, when all of the people who would want that product have bought it already. and here is what drop shipping is. drop shipping is when a customer buys a product that you've listed in your store for a markup price. when they do, you go to the manufacturer and you purchase that one product for the wholesale price and then have the

Shopify is a platform that your website will be built on and where you'll have the actual store from for the product or products that you're selling. now there are other e-commerce platforms out there that you may have heard of, but Shopify is by far the most reliable and beginner friendly, so I highly suggest that you start there. so, once you're on this page, you're going to come down over here to enter your email address and just go ahead and enter that and then, after entering your email you're sending, go to start free trial. then this screen will come up. you'll just do- I'm just starting- click on an online store and click next. you can go ahead and skip this part right here, and then this is going to be the next screen that you see, and then here you can go ahead and just name your store and, like I said, I would not spend a lot of time on this. you don't want to overthink this. just keep this very simple and very general. wherever your business is located, you'll go ahead and click on next, continue with email, create your password word and then create Shopify ID. now we just open up a new store with the free trial, and you're already 10 steps ahead of where you previously were at the beginning of this video, because your store is officially open. now let's go ahead and get into the build and everything that you'll need to make sure that, when customers are coming to your store, they always leave with purchasing something and putting more money back into your pocket. now the first thing that you want to do is head over to your Shopify App Store and search for an app called autods, and it's as simple as this. you come over here to apps, you type in Auto DS and click on enter, and this is what the Shopify App Store looks like, and it's going to be this one right here that says Auto DS- all-in-one Drop Shipping, and autods is literally an all-in-one Drop Shipping tool that you need on your online store. this app will allow you to connect your store to different suppliers that you may be wanting to use to help sell your product. they'll let you browse through potential products that you can be selling, and it even has the capability to fulfill the orders you're getting on your store automatikally and send out tracking information directly to your customer. I mean, Auto DS is going to make running your job- streaming business- as a beginner- as seamless as possible. I wish- I mean I wish- they had apps like that when I first started my Drop Shipping Journey, because automation is everything, and that's exactly what this app will give to you. I'm gonna go ahead and add this app into my store and it's just as simple as clicking add app and then install app. now that we have Auto DS downloaded, the next thing we need to do is connect this with our Shopify store. so this is gonna be the first screen you'll see. you'll go to add store, come to this plus sign where it says ad store at the bottom, click on Shopify store and click continue. you come back over here to your Shopify, highlight the actual HTML and then go ahead and add that to your store. and it's as simple as that. and if you want to make sure it's connected, you should see your actual Shopify store right here at the top left corner. now, before we head into the overall build of your store and making sure that you have all the necessary instructions. then get your store off the ground and running. my team and I do provide Hands-On, one-on-one guidance to help you directly with learning strategies of running your online store that can help you make money not just for short term but for a lifetime. so if you're ready to take action and start learning with my team and I by your side, make sure you head over to my Instagram at AC, underscore Hampton, DM me the word mentorship or apply with the link down in my description so I can reach out and help you get started. now that we have Auto DS connected, you're going to want to start off with importing your first product to your store, but in order to import a product, you have to know what you're looking for in a product that you should be selling. it is not smart to come into Drop Shipping thinking you can just sell any and everything, because that's going to cause you to spend a lot of time and money into the wrong direction. when you're scrolling through your products on autods and looking for one that you could be selling, you want to make sure that the product is hitting some very important key factors when, number one being that it solves some sort of problem. now, this is because a product that solves a problem is likely to sell for a longer period of time. secondly, that it can be sold for 25 or more. by doing a quick search for the product on Google, you can see on average what your competition is selling the product for, and if it's being sold for less than 25 dollars, you'll find that you're spending more money in ads than what you're actually making from selling it. so let's take this product right here as an example. so this is the anti-theft travel backpack, and you can see when I'm on Google and I'm actually searching for this. you can see that most of these products are over 25, if not all of them. so this is telling me right away that this is being sold for 25 or more across the entire market. and lastly, you want to make sure that there is demand in the market for the product that you're selling. an

What Shopify Plan Should You Be On (The Dropshipping TRUTH)

excuse my hair, it is an absolute mess and I need a haircut. but what Shopify plans should you be using when you open your store? what's going on? everyone hate your doing back at you with a branding video and in this one, as always, as we have them for last few weeks in an Airbnb in and around Santa Monica and Hollywood- right now we're in Santa Monica again, continuing to look at more and more houses, a lot of different options, different stuff I can't tok about. I know I made that video showing you guys one day with- was it three or four or four or five different houses inside of there made an offer. I'm one of those- I'm not gonna tell you which one, waiting to hear back from that- made another offer today- actually it's gonna be submitted tomorrow morning. I'm one that we saw today. so a lot of different stuff. with that we're not exactly in a rush, so just having fun being spontaneous, but anyways, in this video I want to tok about what Shopify planning you should have for your Shopify store, as well as what the pros and cons are, because it's more about, like, what you want versus what you need. I'm going to tok about what you need and a couple of ways you can actually get on a custom plan, but without further ado. if you guys have any specific questions like this- this is something not too many people really dive in depth on- drop it in the comments down below. I'd be more than happy to make a video on a subject. it's kind of like I know you guys ask specific questions like you'll make a video on this, like on shipping doesn't really deserve its own video. it's not exactly like you know that can be addressed in a video. but if you guys have any specific things you think would bring value to everyone on the channel, drop it in the comments down below. I'd be more than happy to check it out and if it makes sense, I'll make a video on it. so let's jump inside of my computer. I'm going to show you what's up, ok. so, first of all, what do you guys need? ok, now, what you should have: what do you need? you need a shop buy plan. so, theoretikally, to open and run- and successfully- not necessarily successes- but to operate a Shopify store, you need the base package, the bottom, the cheapest. if we go over their website at pricing here, the cheapest one will tiknically work. however, there's a lot of different things, different things you might want, different things you might need, depending on what you're doing, different pros and cons of whatnot. so, first of all, the basic Shopify plan. this is what I'm using. however, I'm not on any of these. actually, I'm using a custom plan. I would tell you guys in a minute how to get that, but this is really all you need. a lot of people are like: oh, you know, two, three dollars a month, I can afford it. should I do it? maybe I wouldn't recommend doing it right in the beginning, because the biggest Pro to using something that's more expensive is a cheaper credit card rates. if you see this stuff, this is per transaction. so every time someone orders on your website, if you're paying more for a higher package, you're gonna get a smaller cut of that, or they're gonna take a smaller cut, so you're gonna get a bigger cut. essentially, if you're pushing volume in a lot of orders, that works to your advantage. now, another thing to look at- I don't think this will be very relevant for a lot of you guys- is just the staff account. you can have people log in and directly giving your password or, if you know you don't trust, the Filipino VA is with that or whatever you're doing, you can go make a staff account with that. essentially, let me just tok real quick about how I'm getting on this custom plan. this is what a lot of them- in mind my friends- do. it makes more sense rather than just spending the 79, so you get a little bit more when it comes to analytiks and stuff on the 79 versus the 29, but you can actually take the 29 and if you guys want to use the app called better ship in- if you guys have ever seen that, you know I recommend it. it just makes shipping so much easier. I don't ever want to mess with like setting up weight base trades. to put it on, all the products know better shipping is like $15 a month. it gives you a basically list of all your products and you can set the individual shipping price for each one. that's it very simple. but in order to use this app, you need a plugin that only comes with the $79 package. that doesn't mean you have to upgrade to that. so here's the thing: if you call Shopify, you might be able to do it on the live support, but if you call Shopify, they can actually add that individual plug-in in, so you're not getting everything from the $79 one, just that one individual thing for $20 a month more. so, instead of paying $80 a month, you're paying $50 a month. a simple little 30 dollar difference there. so if you're kind of working on a budget, that's one creative route you can go. the main thing that's gonna come with this is just if you're pushing volume, that's gonna help you, as well as the amount of actual analytiks you're gonna beginning, which is not that big of a deal. you definitely have everything you need on the basic, shot by plan, but so that's really all it is. there's not like too much. it goes into this. that's how you can like validate me a higher plan if you will like. if you want to spend more for that, I think using one of these two, the $29 or the $79 for the basic shop, for the shop flight, that's all you really need. I don't think there's much of a reason to use the actual advanced Shopify. I really don't want this to be some video that gets dragged out and a lot of people tok about it for a while. let me give you a little perspective. it is 11:49 right now. at night, this store specifically let it focus in here at tap just over 1k today. this is on that custom plan that I told you about. so it's on the $29 package, but also with that plug-in for an extra $20 a month, plus, obviously, the app fees on top of that. so if you're trying to save money- which is not necessarily what you need to do- if that's, you know, not your biggest concern- that's not my biggest concern. but if I don't need it, I'm not gonna do it. so that's a fun little way you can kind of call them and get some help and advice from there. that's just something you can do. now, just to let you guys know, there is another Shopify plan, just an actual plan from Shopify, not some sort of custom little thing where you can get a plugin that's $2,000 a month. they don't put it on the website. this is where they contact people individually. when you have a successful store- you know one of the top 1% growing and sales wise, a lot of different factors that go into that- and they reach out to you directly. that basically gives you like a private support person where you can like reach out to them. whatever. they'll answer immediately. get you help. you get much cheaper credit card rates and a crap ton of analytiks like kylie jenner level analytiks. I think that would be the plan that she's on, so that's kind of something to spin interesting. I don't know if it's a goal to pay $2,000 a month, but it's definitely that's interesting to kind of look at that. so this was a short video. again, if you guys have any sort of other video ideas, topic stuff you want to tok about, drop it in the comments down below. I have a few different things I'm gonna be toking about that I actually need to do almost an updated video on, just because people keep asking if things are changing and I'm using different things for what this thing is. I'm not going to reveal it, but other than that, you guys, if you did enjoy the video, how to appreciate if you drop like down below- and of course we were so, so close- what are we at right now? let me check real quick. we are at the nanana as of when I'm doing this right now, a forty eight thousand five hundred and seventy three subscribers. that is, less than fifteen hundred subscribers away from fifty thousand, which has been a big milestone and a goal of mine. then after that it's thousand and you already know, ten mil. we're coming for the world. I would appreciate if you guys hit t.

BUSINESS PLAN TEMPLATE: A Framework To Streamline Your Next Business Plan

there's a famous quote by benjamin franklin that says: if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail. yet so many entrepreneurs leap into starting their businesses armed with nothing more than a good idea and some big dreams. in today's video, i'll be explaining why writing a business plan is an important step in your entrepreneurial journey and outlining the key sections that every good business plan should include. and make sure you stik around, because throughout this video, i'll also be sharing our comprehensive, beginner friendly business plan template, as well as financial spreadsheet templates and a fully completed sample business plan, so that you can get started with writing your own today. [Music]. now i know what you're thinking: writing a business plan sounds kind of boring and, frankly, feels like a waste of time when you're a busy entrepreneur with so much else to do. but for many businesses, it's actually a make or break step that could save you a huge amount of time, money and energy in the long run. and if you still don't believe that starting with a plan is the best way to go, these numbers might change your mind. one harvard business review study found that entrepreneurs who write formal business plans are 16 percent more likely to achieve viability than otherwise identikal, non-planning entrepreneurs. their study concluded that it pays to plan, so let's get to it. today, i'll be sharing some of the top reasons why writing a business plan might be helpful for you, no matter what kind of business you're creating. we'll also be covering the eight key features of a solid business plan and why each one is a necessary component for you, as the founder, to consider. not only that, we've also created some helpful templates to guide you through every step of this process, so be sure to download those using the links below. my goal is that by the end of this video, you'll understand why it's a good idea to start your business with a solid plan and have the tools you need to make it happen. no matter how much excitement you might have about your business idea, it's worth it to slow down and create a plan for your new venture. here are some of the most valuable reasons that you may want to prioritize this step in your business journey. first, you can thoroughly evaluate your ideas. business plans are typically associated with money, pitching to investors or securing loans from a bank, so if you're a business owner who is not currently looking for funding, you might wonder whether it's worth your time to complete this process. the answer is yes, to quote jeff hayden in inc magazine. first and foremost, your business plan should convince you that your idea makes sense, because your time, your money and your effort are on the line. writing out a plan allows you to evaluate your business ideas in advance, without taking on any risk. after all, if it doesn't make sense on paper, it's probably not going to make sense in the real world. when you think through each of the questions that a business plan asks you to consider, you're forced to be realistik about whether your idea is even viable. this allows you to make better decisions and only spend your time on worthwhile endeavors with a chance of succeeding. second, you can plan for your next phase. when you write a business plan, you're taking the time to assess where you are and where you're going. unfortunately, it's not enough to just set goals to be successful. you also need to identify what's currently preventing you from meeting those goals and create a realistik strategy for achieving them. writing out your plan helps you to understand which gaps you'll need to fill before you can scale your business up to the next level. when you know this information up front, you can make smarter, more grounded decisions about how you spend money and time at every stage of your business growth. third, you can clarify your marketing strategy and tactiks. as a business owner, you are constantly having to make choices about everything from how you spend your days to what social media platforms you should be on. without a clear plan for your business, you can waste a lot of time spinning your wheels trying to figure out what makes sense for you and what your next steps should be. when you clarify your plan in advance, you're drawing yourself a map to follow at every stage of your journey. of course, plans can change, but when you start with a guide, it becomes a lot easier to make informed decisions about your business now and in the future. fourth, you can scope out the necessary work. when it comes to big business ventures, it can feel overwhelming to think through all the steps, time and money that a project will require. instead, we tend to cross our fingers, jump in and just hope for the best. we play down how much work a project will be and optimistikally expect some pretty unrealistik timelines, but of course things almost always take longer and are more expensive than we think. creating a realistik business plan can help you see in advance how much work there is to be done on a partikular project and what it will cost. rather than relying on wishful thinking, you can then prioritize projects with intention. fifth, you can hire and build partnerships. if you want to build a great business, you're probably going to need some great support, whether that's in the form of potential partners, collaborators or employees. and while a business plan is certainly not the only means to demonstrate the viability of your business, it can be a great way to show your expertise, describe your experience and make it clear that you have a solid grasp of your market. a good business plan will artikulate your vision and back it up with research, which can help folks evaluate your idea for themselves and decide if they'd like to join you. lastly, you can secure funding. whether you're asking for money and support from a big bank, an investor or just your friends and neighbors, having a business plan is essential. your plan should show that you've done your homework, that you understand your target customers and that you have the skills and expertise needed to make your venture a success. when done correctly, your business plan will speak for itself and help you gain access to capital and resources when needed. i know that it can be daunting to think about writing your own business plan from scratch. that's why we've put together an in-depth template that will support you every step of the way. it's so easy to feel blocked by the blank page and be unsure of what factors to even include in your plan. it can also be intimidating to sort through advice full of jargony, business terms and industry lingo. luckily, there is no need to reinvent the wheel. most business plans actually follow a very simple, straightforward process. click right here to download your copy of our comprehensive template so that you can follow along with the rest of this video as we go through each section, one at a time. as a note, this business plan template is perfect for beginner entrepreneurs who want to examine all the factors to consider when starting and growing a business. it's a tool to help you explore key components of your business and plan for the future in a proactive way. that being said, if your primary goal is to secure funding, this template may or may not include all the specific elements that your target investor will want to see in your plan. those features can vary widely depending on who you're pitching to, so be sure to do your own research to ensure that you're addressing all the concerns of your specific audience, whether that's an investor or a bank. in our template, you'll find even more guidance and information about how to complete each of these sections, but here's an overview of everything we'll be including in our business plan number one: the executive summary. your plan's executive summary is exactly what it sounds like: a condensed, streamlined summary of all trying to start a dropshipping store can be overwhelming. with so many different steps and strategies, it's hard to even know where to start. so in this video, i'm going to share my exact strategy for starting a new drop shipping store from scratch, and in the last couple months, i've built a new store with this strategy, and that store has already done close to 900 000 in sales. so if i had to start over today, this is exactly what i would do. if you're new here, my name is jordan and i'm currently documenting the entire process of growing my online business with as much transparency as possible, so that i can lead by example and help you start your own online business this year. so if you're interested in starting your own online store and you want to follow my journey, make sure to subscribe for new videos every single friday. all right, let's get started. firstly, i want to show you some live results that i'm getting with this exact strategy. so it's around halfway through the day and i've already generated around 3 800 in sales on this store. the profit margin is pretty good as well. i've done almost fifteen hundred dollars in profit, which is almost a forty percent profit margin, and if we take a look at yesterday's stats, you can see i sold around sixty seven hundred dollars and made around eighteen hundred dollars in profit. i just wanted to prove to you that this is working right now. so you know it's worth your time to watch this whole video. so there are four main things that go into building a successful drop shipping store. the first one is your product. the second one is your store. the third is your marketing and how you get customers, and the fourth is running your business and shipping out your orders. now i'm gonna break down each of these one by one as simple as possible. so let's get started with products. so without a winning product, it's pretty much impossible to have success with drop shipping. thankfully, there are a ton of products out there that you can sell. every single week, new winning products pop up, so the opportunities are always fresh. there's really only three things that i look for when determining if a product is a winning product. the first thing is if the product has been recently trending on facebook and instagram. what i mean by trending is that there is a ad that is getting a ton of views, shares, comments and likes and people are going crazy for the product. this is a great sign that you can make money off of this product because people are already interested in it. as long as you do something a little bit better than the person that's already selling it, you can swoop right in, compete with them and make money selling that same product. this is exactly what i've done for every single one of my winning products and it's worked time and time again. the next thing i look for is mass appeal. my favorite type of products are the ones that can be sold to the masses. i don't love the extremely narrowed down products that only apply to a small set of people. yes, they will buy the product, but if we ever want to scale and build something big, we need something that we can sell to almost everybody. it's okay if it's a little narrow, like it's only for women or it's only for men, but the broader the better. the last thing i look for is good profit margins. what i consider to be good profit margins is being able to sell the product for three times the cost it takes to ship it out to the customer. so if the product costs you around 10 to send it to your customer, you want to be able to sell it for at least 30, and that's pretty much all i look for in a winning product. let me show you a live example of exactly what i'm toking about. okay, so this product is an absolute banger. basically, it is a garden privacy fence that you set up in your backyard. as you can see, this product was launched on march 8th of this year and they've already got over 70 000 likes on this post. if you check out the comments, people are going crazy for this. they love it, they really enjoy the product. but the people that are selling it aren't doing a good job and if we look at their video, it's not really that good. and then if we go to their website, it's the same thing. it's really not that good. this product has great profit margins as well. you can see that it cost around four dollars on the low end to ship to a customer and they're selling it for anywhere from 1999 all the way up to almost a hundred dollars per sale. so if you came in and made a slightly better video, a slightly better website, you could clean up off of this product and make a ton of money. so, like i said, that product is an absolute banger and a perfect example of a winning product. now, how do you find these products? the tried and true method that i've been using for years is simply just looking on your facebook and instagram feed. every single day, you're going to get targeted with ads for drop shipping products eventually, and every time you get targeted with one of these ads, you need to show facebook that you're interested. so you want to go to the ad, you want to like, you want to comment, you want to go to the website, you want to click add to cart and show facebook that you're trying to buy stuff like this. so they will start recommending you more products and your feed is just going to become the best product research tool that you have. that's my favorite method, but i also created a tool that automates this process. so if you want to check that out, click the link down below. alright, so step number one is finding a product that fits this criteria. so once you've got that product, now you've got to build a store. now there are a couple different types of stores that you could build. you could build a general store, which is a store that has a bunch of random products all around it. you could build a one product store, which is a store that only focuses on selling one main product, or you can build a hybrid store, which is what i recommend. building a hybrid store combines the benefit of a one product store and a general store. with a general store, you have freedom to test a bunch of products, and with a one product store you're limited, but you're gonna have a higher conversion rate and people are gonna trust you much more than a general store. with a hybrid store, you're creating the same branded feel that a one product store would have, but with the freedom to test a bunch of products. i think it's better if i just show you an example. so this is a sample store that i created. that would actually be perfect for the product i just showed you. the store is called flora flow. as you can see, it's pretty much focused entirely on home and garden based products. it has a nice branded design, it has a good logo, it's easy to browse and shop around and overall, it feels like a trustworthy site. i recently made a video on exactly how i built this store, so after you watch this one, feel free to check that out. the one tip i will give in this video is to model your store off of what's already working. this is not some brand new design i came up with. i just put my own little twist on what was already working. you don't have to reinvent the wheel. you just have to take what's working and add a little bit of your own sauce to it. so i would advise taking your product, building a store like this and filling it up with products that are similar to the one you're selling. here's another really good example of a hybrid store. this one is called arctik shirt and, as you can see, they sell a bunch of home decor products as well. they have the moon lamp, this kitchen set, they have bedding. they have all types of products, but the store is really nice, branded and feels extremely trustworthy. in my opinion, this is the best approach for beginners, so give it a try. next up, you need to get some traffic and customers to your website. personally, my favorite method for starting with a new store is facebook ads. it does cost a little bit of money to run ads on facebook, so i recommend that you have at least a couple hundred dollars.

Which Shopify Plan Should You Use? (Dropshipping 2022)

hey guys, in this lesson we'll be covering what you should have completed before starting your shopify free trial. this way, you don't waste time during your free trial and spend more money than you should. if you're an advanced shopify user, like you've been on shopify for a little bit, skip ahead to the end of this video and i'll show you a calculator that tells you when it makes sense to bump up your shopify plan and when not to. okay, before you start your shopify plan, it's really smart to already have: pick your niche, found products to sell that are ready to go, found a great supplier in your niche, completed your brand's mission statement, have selected your domain already and created your logo for your brand. all of these pre-requirements are really important before starting your shopify free trial so that you can save money in the long run. it's up to you and your work ethic to decide how quickly you launch your store. but don't think about time. think about doing things correctly and the right way, and then, when you're ready to pick your plan, go with the basic plan. if you're new to shopify, all that's left for you to do is just go to shopifycom and start your free trial there. i recommend you create a gmail account specifically for your store and you use that to sign up. and after you do that, if you bought your domain from shopify, they allow you to connect a sub handle to your email and it'll be shown as whatever you name it at yourwebsitecom instead of gmailcom. so if you got your domain with shopify- so let's say your brand is jim shark, for example- you can name the sub handle for your email as support- gymsharkcom instead of jimshark gmailcom. if you're an advanced shopify user and you're already getting sales, you're gonna go to this calculator that's gonna tell you whether you should bump up your plan and go to an advanced plan or stay at the basic plan. so when you click on the link and when you go to the website it's gonna look like this and it shows you all the different shopify plans. but if you scroll down you get a calculator and this is how much you're making a month and if you're using shopify payments or not. and if you're not, you can type in whatever your payment processor is charging you for a percentage in a flat rate. but let's say we're just using shopify payments and you're making 1500 a month. it's gonna recommend that you use the basic shopify plan. now, let's say you're making two hundred thousand dollars a month, it's gonna recommend that you choose the advanced shopify plan because, look, you'll be paying like 800 less a month than you would on the basic shopify plan. so it's really cool. you could just enter your revenue here. another example: let's say 30 000. you're gonna be going to the regular shopify plan because you'll be paying less than the basic shopify plan. and now, because you know how the calculator works, it can help you make the most well-informed decision about the shopify plan you should be using as an action item for this lesson. i want you to complete all the prior tasks before starting your shopify plan- if you haven't already done so, and once you're ready to start your shopify plan, go for it. i hope you guys like this one and i'll see you in the next lesson.
