I Tried Shopify Dropshipping With NO MONEY For 1 Week

so in this video, i'm gonna start a brand new shopify drop shipping business and attempt to take it from zero dollars to over one thousand dollars in just one week. and i'm not going to be using any money for this challenge, and i know a lot of people think you can't start a drop shipping business without any money, but we're gonna prove them wrong in this video and i'll be starting the drop shipping business completely from scratch and walk you through the entire step-by-step process, and at the end of the video, i'll show you exactly how much money the business makes. honestly, i'm hoping it's gonna make over a thousand dollars, but we're just gonna have to wait and see. so i have a lot of stuff that i have to get done today, and the very first thing i want to do is just find a good product to sell, and then after that, i'm just going to find a good supplier. then i'm just going to create my online store with shopify and then after that, i'm going to start creating advertisements, and for this challenge, i'm basically going to be using pinterest, instagram and tiktok and just basically post viral videos on there for free. and yes, this method does work well, since i do use it on my current drop shipping businesses that make over six figures. okay. so the first thing i want to start by doing is trying to find a good product to sell and, honestly, as long as i can create viral videos with the product and it has high demand, it's something i can work with. and, honestly, i find about 99 of my viral products on tiktok, so i'm going to kind of show you my strategy and how you can do this yourself. so kind of what i do on tik tok is just search up tiktok made me buy it- then i'll just click on that little hamburger icon in the top right corner, then i'll just change the date posted to this month and now it's going to show you a bunch of relevant winning products that are selling right now. and some other hashtags you can do this with is amazon fines, drop shippers exposed and tiktok viral products. but anyways, i'm going to take the next 20 minutes to try to find some good products to sell and once i do find something, i'll come back and update you okay. so, honestly, i found a ton of really good products, but there is one that stood out to me the most, which is the cordless hair curler. and for anyone who doesn't know? the cordless hair curler is really convenient for females, since you can kind of touch up your hair anywhere you go, and there's so many stores on tiktok selling this product, so if they're doing well, i'm sure i can also do the same. all right. so the next thing i want to do is find a supplier that i can get the product from, and so for this video, i think i'm going to use spocket. so i found the cordless hair curler on spock it for 28 dollars and 30 cents, which is really good, and the shipping times are only seven to 14 business days, which is also ideal, and i think i'm gonna sell the product on my store for 59.99. now i've actually seen a lot of stores sign this product for over a hundred dollars, but because i do want to sell a lot of product in a short period of time and i don't want it to be too expensive, i think 59.99 is a good number to stik with, and if my customers do see that other stores are selling it for over a hundred dollars and i'm only selling it for a fraction of that cost, i'm sure they'd rather buy it from my store. now i do want to add one other product to my store, and i'm thinking just to make it an upsell. so, anyways, i found this heat protectant spray and i think it goes really well with the cordless hair curler, and i'm thinking to sell it on my store for 19.99, and it's only going to cost me eight dollars and 27 cents, which is pretty good, and if you do need a supplier for your drop shipping store, i'll leave a link for spock it in the description of this video. but, anyways, now i got the product, which i'm happy about, and so the next step now is to actually start building my shopify store, and i do want my store to look like an actual brand, and so it is going to take me a little bit of time to build it. so, anyways, i'm going to start working on the store right now and then i'll update you tomorrow once i'm done. all right, so it's the second day now and i finally finished the store and i made it look very simple and clean, and i'm going to show you the page that the customers get redirected to. so, anyways, i have different color options here, and i also did add a sales timer to create sense of urgency. i also included a ton of high quality photos, which is really important, and i also added this to build more trust with the customers. and if you scroll down here, you can see i put what's included in the package, then i tok about the benefits of buying the cordless hair curler, then i added some frequently asked questions and then i also do have a 30 day money back guarantee. a lot of customers won't buy your product if you don't have this, so make sure you do. and if you scroll down here, you can see that i did include how the cordless hair curler works, so this just makes it look really easy and straightforward. and all the way at the bottom of the page i did include some customer reviews. now, i obviously did import these reviews to my store, but usually i do have real customer reviews. but that's pretty much it for the store and i think it looks pretty good. but anyways, now that i'm done with my store, the next important thing i have to do is add a shopify app called after sell to my store, and the reason i'm going to use after sell is because it can increase my revenue anywhere from 10 to 15, which is exactly what i want. and afterstok is for post purchase upsells, and if you don't know what that is. it's basically when you offer a customer a product to purchase after they've already purchased something from your store. for example, after someone purchases the cordless hair curler from my store, i can then offer them another product to purchase. so in my case, i could upsell the heat protectant spray, since it works well with the cordless hair curler. and post purchase upsells work so well because if a customer just purchased something from your store, they're more likely to purchase another item, since you already built that initial trust, and you can even give them a really good discount on the upsell offer, which will then make them want to buy it even more. now, one thing you never want to do with upsells is actually offer them to the customer before they've made a purchase. this will just end up confusing them and they might not end up buying the product at all. but the good thing about after sell is that the upsell offer only comes after a customer makes a purchase, which is exactly what we want. but anyways, i'm actually going to create an upsell offer using after sale for my store right now and kind of walk you through the process step by step. okay, so the very first thing you want to do is go to the shopify app store and just search for after cell and it should come up. so it's going to look like this: after sell, post purchase, upsell. so let's add the app. okay, so once you're in after sale, the first thing you want to do is click here on enable settings. then it's going to bring you to the shopify page. so just make sure you click on after cell, then just click on save. okay, back here, let's just refresh the page. okay, now the first thing we want to do is actually just set up our first funnel. click here on create and i'm just going to name this funnel: heat protectant. so here i want to click show this funnel to all customers. since i only do have one upsell product. okay, now i'm going to choose the upsell product and basically what i'm going to be upselling is this heat protectant spray. now, the cool thing here is, if the customer actually does end up purchasing this product, you can offer them another upsell, and if they decline this product, then you can offer them a downsell. now, since i don't have any other products, i'm just going to keep it like this, but you can add products in here. now. next thing i want to do is click here on edi.

I Tried Shopify Dropshipping with NO MONEY For 1 Week (Beginner) UK

I'm going to create a Shopify Drop Shipping Store in one week- no money and no following- and I'm gonna see if I can set this start zero to a thousand pounds. how's it going, guys? welcome back to that next door. in today's video, I'm gonna create a Shopify Drop Shipping Store in one week with no money, no out and no following whatsoever, and I'm gonna see if I can set this store to met first met me, any profit and if we can go from zero to a thousand pounds. and what I'm gonna do a little bit differently is I'm gonna take through the whole process, so I'm documenting it today. this is the first day that I'm gonna find my product, make my site and start getting some ads rolling. so what we're going to use, start marketing our store. we're gonna use free traffic and this is gonna be from brand new accounts. so when I say brand new account, I'm gonna create my product, create my brand, if you will. so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna use Instagram reels, I'm gonna use tiktok, YouTube chat, because these are the such lucasive platforms to start getting traffic and gaining traffic fast. if you've got a decent multiple video, you're going to be able to Skyrocket and blow up and sometimes, hopefully, we can see if we actually go viral. so that's the goal: we're going to try and go viral and try and make a million pounds. so, first things first, I'm gonna want to find our first products now. there's many different ways you can do this. a lot of people use tools that you can spy on ads and you can see what other people are Drop Shipping. but what I'm going to do is I'm actually gonna go onto my phone, I'm gonna go onto tiktok and I'm gonna search- tiktok made me buy it- and I'm just gonna scroll and scroll and scroll. what I need to do is I need to find something that's got a wow factor. it makes you stop scrolling or it solves a problem. it needs to be something that someone is gonna want, right. so, after countless hours and days and years, I finally found something that I thought were pretty cool to me. it had the wow factor. if I seen this, I'd buy it probably, but anyway, I found this flying, hovering, like ball Boomerang sort of thing. it's like. it's like got a motor in it, and I'll put a video on screen. now this is what it is right. so no farmer products. I need to go to Shopify and sign up and create a free account. so which Shopify? you get a 14-day free trial. so I don't have to put any money up front. so you just have to sign up, pick a plan and we can start building this store. now a lot of people are going to say: I don't know how to build a store. I don't know how to do this. it's so straightforward. there's many tutorials on YouTube. there's so many. you can go onto YouTube and have a look. um, you can just Google stuff if you're confused. but it's pretty straightforward to make a basic Shopify store, and this partikular store only has one product. so once you've signed up, you picked a name, you've got a logo. you don't really need a logo, but you can go over to canva make a quick little logo. now what you want to do is you want to add a couple of must-have Drop Shipping apps. so the partikular apps that I use, I've got deezers, dsers, um, which is like: uh, it's an app that Imports products from the AliExpress link and imports in to your store with the variants- whether it's different colors, different sizes, so on and so forth. and also you're going to want social proof, so I use a little plugin to import reviews from AliExpress of this actual products, and a lot of these reviews have videos, pictures of your product and this is called air reviews. so what you want to do, install these apps on your store. these also come with free plans and free trials to start with, so I'm still spending no money whatsoever. now it's time to build my store, so I'm gonna spend roughly about 40 minutes to an hour just make a basic store, make it look a little bit professional, get a little bit social proof on there. so, yeah, enjoy the nice time lapse of me sitting there on a night creating a store. this is filmed after I order, create the stuff. but, yeah, enjoy this little timeline. foreign, don't know why. it's an orb I wanted to go for like UFO face sort thing like a UFO and I come up with glide orb. so that's gonna be like my brand name and this is what the sights look like. so I've made a pretty basic site. I've got some gifts- gifts are always great and your products actually been used. so I pretty much went on a look, copied and pasted some information, did a little bit of write-up of my own to make it look more branded, to make it look more professional and in the description added like some gifs of it being used and variants of color change. you know, this is how it looks essentially. it's quite clean, quite straightforward. um, you know, we've got Glide orb shop. now meet the Glide orb. um, odd, that spins, climbs, floats. the orb that spins, climbs, floats before safely automatikally returning the hand. so it's essentially like a boomer. so I've got it at 24.99. so you've got options: blue, red, purple. add it to car. you can even add a little a couple of upsells on there. so if you want to buy two, you can get one half price, so on and so forth. this isn't like the last final draft of the star, this is just showing you. now I am going to tweak it a little bit, tiny little tweet, but this is just a quick run through what it looks like and then this is what it'll look like on the actual star page. so we've got the glider. I've also made a cool little email address, just like a Glide orb. it's gonna still need a domain, which I'm not actually paying for because it's not part of the challenge, but we'll give it a try anyway. so hopefully, make a little Gmail. yeah, we've added some nice gifs on there some great product photos, all from AliExpress: lights up in the dark, track trick guide, Boomerang, Safety First, durability, all that sort of stuff. now we've got the stall ready. we've got the products. we've imported the product. gonna need to start marketing it because people aren't going to come and buy it if they don't know where it is and if the cats see it. and I'm gonna do is without spending zero money on that. I'm doing this completely free because I am broke and they see, just organic, free traffic. so we've got YouTube shots, we've got Instagram reels, we've got tiktok. hopefully, if I start posting once a day or a couple of times a day of this product, maybe we'll go viral. maybe I'm gonna start driving a Lamborghini tomorrow because of this right. so that's the first video of this challenge. it's a weak challenge of me literally trying to take this star with zero money, zero and spend nothing whatsoever. free, organic traffic, and I'm gonna see if I can make money dropshipping. so if you are new around here, don't forget to smash that like button, subscribe. stay tuned for the next video. don't forget to send post notifications on, because this next video is going to be out in a week, to see how much money I've actually made from this Shopify store and if I made any whatsoever. thank you guys for watching. I'll catch you guys in the next video.

Dropshipping To The UK | Everything You Need To Know In 2020 (Shopify Dropshipping for Beginners)

so, when it comes to drop shipping in the UK, there's three really big questions I get asked quite frequently, to almost on a daily basis in fact. number one is customs duty, v80, income taxes- how do I pay them? do I need to pay them? how do I avoid them? who pays them? does the customer pay them? question number two is: do I need to set up a company? do I go sole trader? do I go limited? what are the advantages? which ones right for me? and then a third and final question I get asked all the time is the delivery time. so customers, are they really willing to wait that 20 to 40 days that Aliexpress quotes? so they're the three questions I'm gonna be answering in this video. hopefully, by the time you finished watching this, then you'll be, your mind will be put at ease and you'll be ready to get started in your drop shipping business, because, trust me, the best way to become good at running a business is by actually running a business, not by watching youtube videos. before we get started, though, one big favor to ask, and that is if you enjoyed this video. so if I answer any of these questions adequately for you, please do me the favor of hitting that like button. if you have any comments, questions, video suggestions, make sure you post them down below - I read every single comment- and then, third and finally, only 50% of people who watch these videos are actually subscribed. so if you haven't subscribed yet and please make sure you hit that subscribe button now and that means they don't. let's jump straight into question number one. so the first topic, or no address in this video, is customs duty and v80. so these are two potential charges, two potential costs that you will come across as your dropship and so outside of the EU, into the UK, you have customs duty and you have v80, two completely separate things. and these aren't to be confused with the v80. if you're a VAT registered business, where you pay 20% on all sales. they're not to be confused with corporation tax, which is what you pay on your profits if you're a business, and then not to be confused with income taxes as well. these are the taxes on the goods that you're bringing in and that's it. just two separate things. number one is customs duty. so this is charged on all gifts and goods if they're sent from outside the EU. so if you're drop shipping from China, then customs duty will come into play and they have to be above a certain value- anything under 135 pounds- there will be no charge and you won't have to worry about paying customs duty. the second potential cost you have to worry about is VA tea, which is currently cherished at 20% of the total value of the goods, and this is charged on goods sent from outside the EU- RIE, China- into the UK and you don't have to pay VA tea if the cost of those goods are under 15 pounds totals, as it says there, and the 15 pounds total equals no charge. if your goods are more than that, then you have to pay v80 on what the total value is. the next point you have to consider as well is these values, so the 15 pound total, the 135 pounds total. this includes the postage cost. so if you buy an item off Aliexpress that costs 14 pounds 99, as long as there's no delivery cost, you'll be absolutely fine. but if you have to pay e packet on top of that and that takes it over the 15 pounds total, then there will be a VA T charge to pay. the next important note to keep in mind is that this is on the total value of the goods that we pay for, so it's what we pay and Aliexpress, if you're selling, if you're buying an item for 10 pounds total and selling it for 50 pounds, it's only based on what we pay on Aliexpress. it's not based on what we sell it for. the next thing I want to kind of clarify as well is that the source of this information is as of March 2020, so if you're watching this 1 to 3 years later, it may have changed. the best thing to do to get the latest up-to-date information is to go to this link here. so this is from the official docker UK website. so as I'm recording this now, then in march 2020, then all of this is so far accurate. the next question to answer, then, is: should I set up a company? so should I go Limited? should I go sole trader? basically, there's three different ways you can do it. so when you start a business, you can set up as a sole trader, you can set up as a limited company or you can go as a partnership. now, it's really difficult to kind of give a blanket answer to this, because it depends on so many different factors. it depends on whether you have a job and how much money you earn from that. it depends on whether you own a house, do you have a family? ultimately, the best advice I can give you is to speak to a financial professional, ie an accountant, and they will ask you probably half a dozen different questions and, depending on what your answers are to those questions- the ones I've just mentioned- they will then advise you what the bet thing to do. however, most people I speak to then attend to be quite young students who aren't earning any money. so for most people, I'm guessing that they would want to register as a sole trader first, and you have to do this then. so the point in which you have to tell hate remercie that you're running a business and you're earning money is when you earn more than 1000 pounds in a tax year. now, just to take you through the kind of argument of sole trader versus limited company- because there's no doubt some people will ask me: what's the difference? why would you do one over the other? a bullet-pointed the three kind of main advantages- or at least they're the main advantages in my mind- in terms of a sole trader versus limited company, when it comes to actually running your business, ie accounting, then it's a lot cheaper to do so because as a sole trader, you can register for self-assessment and you can file your own accounts as a limited company. to my knowledge, you have to pay a registered accountant, a chartered accountant, to file your account on a yearly basis which, depending on who you go with, usually somewhere between kind of five hundred and a thousand pounds. point number two is that limited companies offer bet better tax relief when you hit a certain amount of profit. so when you're running as a sole trader, any profit you make would be classed as income tax and income tax typically is higher. when you get to a higher amounts, income tax is typically higher, can't tok right now? then corporation taxes. so, depending on how much you're earning, sometimes it's financially beneficial to register as a limited company. the third one, and the biggest advantage- from me at least, because I own multiple different properties- is that limited companies give you better protection. so the potential debts from your drop shipping business as separate from your personal finances. so, for example, them because their own multiple properties, if one of my drops you're in business because they're, because they're all registered as a limited company, if somebody was to sue me and I become liable to pay them, let's say three hundred grand and I don't have that money in the bank, then if it wasn't a limited company and I was a sole trader, I could be forced to sell those properties that I own in order to foot the bill. but when you register as a limited company, the company becomes a completely separate financial entity to you and yourself. so if you have a family, for example, and you live in a house and you have a more that house, the advantage of having a limited company is that if your drop shipping does become liable to pay some money, then your house that you and your family live in is completely safe. a night risk- and again, this information is from the dot-gov website and it's correct, to my knowledge, as of March 2020. the third and final question, and probably the most important or the biggest question or most popular question- sorry that you'll see going around in different Facebook groups- is a packet delivery times. do customers really weigh that twenty to forty days that you see Aliexpress quote in and write a couple of points now. so number one is:

Dropshipping in the UK | FULL Step By Step Guide for Beginners

how to start a uk drop shipping business: a full, step-by-step guide for beginners. if you want to start your own drop shipping business and you've got your eye on the united kingdom, there's a good reason for that: it's one of the biggest markets in the world and doesn't have as much competition as other regions, like in the us. that's why, in this video, i will show you all of the ins and outs and how to start your own uk drop shipping business, whether you live in the uk or not. quick intro and let's go: hello everyone. i'm lyron from autods and in this video, you're gonna learn how to start your own dropshipping business in the uk, no matter where you live around the world and no matter what selling channel, what platform you want to sell. on one second before that, subscribe to our youtube channel if you haven't done so yet, if you always want to stay updated and learn about the biggest and hottest topics that are coming out in the world of dropshipping and, of course, like and share this video if you appreciate the value. now, having said that, let's go ahead and begin on how to start a uk drop shipping business. for all of you guys who are beginners here and you haven't heard much of the term drop shipping, yet this is a very easy business model with low risk that can give you high rewards, and the way it works is you have an online store where you sell products without holding any inventory, which means no initial investments and no big expenses right from the start. once a customer purchases a product from your store, you simply ship out that product to the customer's address directly from your supplier, meaning the product does not go through you, the seller, the drop shipper. you are just the middleman keeping the profit between the source price and the selling price. so what we're doing here basically is we are the middleman between the supplier, the manufacturer and the end customer. all that you need to do is find the right uk drop shipping suppliers with great products that ship from the uk and find the right selling channel to sell it on- and there's more than one right answer for this- and in this selling channel, you're going to list that suppliers, products or multiple suppliers, if you want to scale and earn even more, and you'll simply be importing products from your uk suppliers to your selling channel. and this is where the uk online shoppers will go to see what products you have for sale and purchase from your store. let's see how all of that works and everything else that comes along with the territory. let's start with some of the most frequently asked questions. is dropshipping even legal in the uk, especially if you don't even live in the uk? can you sell to them, and what are the rules and regulations that come along with that? so drop shipping is, and always has been and always will be, a legal business model. anyone can become a drop shipper, an e-commerce store owner. all you need is a computer, an internet connection and the right knowledge and tools, some of which i'm passing on to you in this video. and, for those of you who don't know, everything that i'm going over in this video is also on our blog, artikle, which i'll leave a link to right below. so drop shipping is definitely a legal business model. you just need to keep a few things in mind, like selling the right products, do not sell products that are copyrighted or that are trademarked, and you also want to abide by uk's business rules. go over the acs advice on preventing underage sales and read uk's competition and consumer laws for businesses, as well as their online and distance selling rules. hearing about all this may sound a little bit scary, but believe me, it's not. all the information here goes along with common sense and it's actually very practikal and easy to follow. just stay away from products that you cannot resell and also dangerous products like tobacco, firearms, weapons, ammunition, flammable material, flammable liquids and all things of those sorts. besides that, and copyrighted and trademark products, you shouldn't have any problems selling to the uk. but go over those rules and regulations just to be on the safe side, and always remember if you're going to dropship with our automation tool without ods, you'll always be protected when you're trying to add a product to your store that you are not allowed to resell, since autodesk has a large vero database with all kinds of products that you are not allowed to resell as a drop shipper. so you'll get hit with those warning signs and you can take it from there. so that's another layer of protection for you when starting off, and this way you'll be able to avoid making other people's mistakes. finally, the links to everything that you need to read about. i will also leave them right below this video and you also have them in the blog. artikle: is drop shipping profitable in the uk? well, i probably wouldn't be making this video if it wasn't, but to better show you how profitable dropshipping in the uk is. you can check out this chart from statista on the ecommerce sales in the uk from 2014 to 2019.. now, granted, today we're in 2022, which is three years past this chart, but just by looking at the increasing numbers which you can see here in billion in great britain pounds, so this for so here. for example, 2015, we almost reached 500 million great britain pounds in sales just from e-commerce in the uk, and you can see how the numbers increased every year. now drop shipping alone, and also the uk market, is growing exponentially every year. there is never a better time to join than now, and in one year from now you're going to say the same thing one year ago and so forth, moving forward, and this chart is just a small example of the potential of having an e-commerce business in the uk. so, yes, it is a very profitable business model and a very profitable market to target to when running your ecommerce business. what are my uk drop shipping tax obligations? now? this is a question that many, many people are asking before starting a uk drop shipping business, whether you live in the uk or not. so what are your tax obligations? how does this work and how do you get around this to doing it the right way, the legal way, and doing everything by the book? as a drop shipper in the uk, you have three tax obligations. the first one is income tax, the second is your vat and the third is customs duty. let's go over each of them one by one. your income tax is what you have to pay your local government, so wherever you live around the world, your local government probably wants you to pay an income tax for every income that you are making, including having a drop shipping or ecommerce business. what this means is you will have to pay your own government a certain percentage from your total profits, and this can easily be done if you have a local accountant. so what you need to do is speak with a local accountant and ask them: what are your income tax obligations and every other tax obligation that you have if you want to dropship from where you are to the uk market. your local accountant should help fill you in with all the information, including what your tax percentages are and everything else that comes along with the territory. so your income tax differs on where you live, and that is why you need to speak with a local accountant. the second is vat. when drop shipping to the uk market, we have to charge our customers a 20 fat fee from every purchase and then we'll have to pay that 20 to the uk government. now there's two ways of doing this. one: you can collect it from the buyer yourself on every cell, collect 20 vat and then pay that to the uk government. or you can have the customers pay that to the delivery company that's delivering the package to them. but of course the buyers would much rather have you pay the vat, and that will give them another reason to buy from your store. so make sure that you have a store policies section on your ecommerce store and in the policy section let the buyers know what happens with custom duties and taxes. who's goi?

Top 10 Mistakes Beginner Dropshippers Make (Shopify)

what's going on, guys? today i'm going to be going over the top 10 mistakes that you need to know before you start drop shipping. literally all of these mistakes are so crucial because if you just make one of them, then your entire drop shipping business could be completely destroyed. everything that i'm going to share with you today are actionable tips that you're going to thank me later for, and if this video does reach 4 000 likes, i'm going to release a document of 10 viral winning products that are making thousands of dollars per day right now. so make sure to smash the like button and subscribe, but without further ado, let's get into the value. all right, guys. so the first and one of the most common mistakes that i see newbie drop shippers make is not checking the shipping times for countries that they're trying to advertise to. if you go on aliexpress and you check the shipping drop down, you're gonna see there's tons of different options and it's very specific on each country that you're actually shipping to. so if you're wanting to advertise the united kingdom, make sure you actually check out those specific shipping times and a lot of the times you might have to find a different supplier for one country than another country, and the reason why it's so important that you actually check these shipping times is sometimes united states will have 14 to 17 days shipping and then you'll check out the shipping to canada and it will take up to two months and you guys don't want to be sending products out with two month shipping because if you actually run into that scenario, then you're gonna have tons of unhappy customers and, trust me, that's not how you're successful in drop shipping. you're gonna have a ton of refund requests, a ton of chargebacks and overall, that's just bad business. so definitely make sure you do this one now. mistake number two is setting realistik goals. i get tons of dms every single day with people reaching out to me thinking that this is a get rich quick scheme and telling me that they want to make 50 000 or 100 000 in the next few months. now i hate to break it to you, but this business model does take time and it does take effort. so if you're a beginner getting into this, expect not to make money right off the bat. your primary goal should be coming into this, learning absolutely as much as you can, because in my opinion, the hardest part of this business model is actually going over that initial hump to where you actually get sales. once your store's actually getting sales, then you can turn up the knob with advertising, bring more traffic in and it's relatively simple to scale. but, trust me, don't expect to make hoards of money in the next few months, because you're gonna be very unhappy when the money doesn't come in instantly and you're gonna quit much faster. you guys see me on this channel sharing some insane numbers, but keep in mind, i've been at this since 2017, so it definitely didn't happen overnight. you guys aren't seeing the sleepless nights, the times i've almost went in debt and all the trials and tribulations that actually came with my success. now, number three is to actually start out with a realistik budget, and i think this is one of the biggest achilles heels of newbies getting into drop shipping. they see this business model and they want to start out with a hundred or two hundred dollars and, while that might be sufficient to get your first store off the ground, if that's actually the only money you have, you're gonna lose it relatively quickly and you're gonna think that this business model doesn't work. i suggest that you start with a two or three thousand dollar budget completely dedicated to actually testing products out, because this will give you a high likelihood of finding a winner. now, if you don't have two or three thousand dollars yet, i wouldn't really start out trying to build a business. i would try to get a job, because the thing is to take a hundred dollars and turn it into a thousand dollars. you're gonna need to 10x your money, which is pretty difficult, but it would be much easier if you just spent about 30 or 40 hours working at a job, taking that money, putting a thousand dollars in and 10xing it and turning it into 10 000.. now mistake number four that i see tons of newbies actually make is not focusing on viral products that solve problems. a lot of you guys dm me your stores and i see these odd little trinkets you guys are trying to sell and different jewelry and fashion products, and while these do sell, these are some of the most competitive niches and it can actually be harder to convince someone to buy a fashion product than something that actually solves a problem. the method that i teach in drop shipping is actually finding products that fill a gap in the marketplace. so, for example, not too long ago i shared a video showing one of my 100k products, and what this product is is a knee brace that actually helps you walk better and it takes off weight from your upper body, which solves a massive problem for anyone who has knee problems or trouble walking in general. now, the reason this products much easier to sell than random trinkets is because it solves a real world problem and when you actually go on facebook and you advertise this to people with knee problems, they're gonna be much more likely to buy this as an impulse purchase than your random trinket. now, mistake number five that i see tons of newbies making is starting out with the general store approach. if you don't know what that is, basically it's a store like amazon, focused on selling any product under the sun, and the reason why i don't advise of this method is because, right off the bat, if you add tons of products and you're still completely new to this business model, you're not gonna spend enough time merchandising the products you do have and you're gonna think it's quantity over quality, but in reality that's actually flipped around. i like focusing on fewer products that we merchandise much better, because it gives us a much higher chance of actually getting sales on our stores. so if you're starting out, i recommend you start off with a niche store or a one product store. a niche store is focused on one market- so, for example, workout gear- and a one product store is literally only selling one product- so, for example, this massage gun- and by doing this, we'll be able to dedicate the time needed to properly merchandise our product and create good product descriptions, work on good graphics and get good facebook ads. plus, when customers actually visit our website, they're gonna look at our website as a very reputable brand because we're very focused on their problem that we're trying to solve now. mistake number six is to avoid selling any copyright or trademarked products. now, this could be a little bit difficult to understand if you're a beginner, but one big piece of advice that i recommend to you is: don't sell any products with any characters or any references to any other company, so, for example, a spiderman costume, an mba jersey or something related to pokemon. now, this should be common sense, but i see far too many people get into this business model and get their store shut down, because the thing is that company could actually come file a report on you and shopify will take your website down immediately, and on top of that, you could also face some legal implications if you actually did become very successful selling that product. all right guys. so mistake number seven should seem like common sense, but i see far too many people get into this business model, start scaling their products and they don't actually truly understand the profit that they're taking home each day. now this is pretty simple to figure out. there's a couple apps that you could download on your store, like life timely or order metrics, where it actually tracks real time your profit every single second so you can integrate your facebook ads, your google ads, your product cost and your shipping costs and any fees that you're actuall.
