so most people believe that for them to start a Drop Shipping business, they need to build their own website, when that couldn't be far from the truth. now, of course, starting your own website is a great way to go, but there's some other Alternatives out there that a lot of beginners can use when it comes to generating sales and building up their dropshipping business without necessarily having to figure out how to start their own website, and that's the reason why I always recommend eBay as a great alternative, because it's very simple when it comes to listing products, sitting back and being able to make sales. and the reason why I know this is because I was able to start an eBay business, quit my full-time job, travel the world to various different locations while still being able to make a passive income from my eBay business, even on holiday. so, for those of you out there that believe that eBay is dead or you're not able to drop ship on eBay, in this video I'm going to break down exactly how you can do it, so that, straight after watching this video, you know exactly what to do. so, as always, I don't waste any more time. I really appreciate that. don't forget to subscribe. hit the Bell notification. let's get right into the video. alright, so jumping straight into one of the first things that you guys need to bear in mind, which is the pros and cons of Drop Shipping without a website using the marketplace, just like eBay, and I've broken down three different cons and three different Pros in this illustration right here. so, starting off with one of the first cons, which is that you don't own 100 of your business, reason being is because eBay have their own rules, their own policies, their own regulations that every single seller needs to follow, and the reason why they have all of these different roles that every single seller needs to follow is because eBay has their own profit targets that they're trying to reach, and if you do something that's against one of their policies, there's a chance that they could easily close down your eBay account. so this is definitely something that's super important when it comes to building your business on another businesses platform. the second con when it comes to drop shipping on a platform with a lot of other sellers is that you're going to have direct competition on the same platform, so this could ever work in your favor or against your favor, because you're going to be able to see what other sellers are selling. you're going to be able to see exactly how they structured their store. you're going to be able to see so much data. that's going to help you when it comes to building your own business, but, at the same time, you're also going to be dealing with competition when it comes to customers deciding on whether to buy your product or to buy another eBay sellers product that's right there for them to buy. so, again, that is something that you're going to have to deal with when it comes to building a business on a Marketplace just like eBay. and one of the third cons is that you're going to be subjected to various different seller limits, and when I say selling limits, this is where eBay is going to say that you're only allowed to list a certain amount of products in a certain amount of time. but, of course, when you continue to grow your eBay business, they're also going to increase your selling limit over time as well, but this is something that you're not necessarily going to have to deal with when it comes to listing products on your own website. you're going to be able to list a thousand products- 2 000 products- on day one, without someone telling you that you can't list this and you can't list that. however, there are some pros that you need to be aware of when it comes to drop shipping on the marketplace like eBay, which is that you're going to get instant traffic. so right now, I believe that there's around 160 different visitors that are passing through eBay every couple months, which means that you don't necessarily have to worry about how you're going to get people to view your products. that's one of the main reasons why I decided to start selling on eBay in the first place many years ago is because I knew that I was going to be to generate sales straight away, because if I'm able to find the right product that a customer is looking for listed on my store from there, it's going to be very easy for me to start generating Revenue. the second Pro is that you're also going to be able to benefit from The Trusted reputation that eBay has built over the years. so I believe that they've been growing their business globally for the past 25- 30 years now. I'm not showing exactly how long eBay's been in business, but a lot of people are used to them being a global e-commerce website, and with that it's also going to come a certain level of consumer trust, and that's a big Pro when it comes to building an e-commerce business using the power and the reputation of eBay. one of the final Pros is that there's less upfront costs when it comes to getting things started. so, when it comes to building your own website, you don't necessarily need to pay a lot. if you're going to use a Shopify store, there's various different trials that you can sign up with, and you're also going to be able to build your website yourself. if you're able to do it in an effective way and make things look professional, you may want to pay- let's say, a hundred dollars, two hundred dollars- if you do want to increase your chances of being able to make sales and get conversions, but it's not something that you need to do. on the other hand, now, when it comes to starting a Drop Shipping business on eBay, you're not going to have to really pay that much. what you're going to need to do is find a winning product, list it on your store and again sit back and wait for sales. so that's another reason why I always advise a lot of beginners to start an eBay business because of the less upfront cost, which makes it a great alternative for any of you guys out there that are beginners that don't really have a big budget to start off with. okay, so moving on to some of the most important things that you guys need to be aware of if you do decide to move forward and start an eBay Drop Shipping business- that I wish I knew when I first started, because it would have sped up the whole process- one of the first things that you guys need to be aware of is making sure that you sign up in the correct way. and when I say that you need to sign up in the correct way, first and foremost, you need to head over to the right eBay domain. so, because I'm based in the UK and I'm going to primarily be selling in the UK, I'm going to sign up to ebaycouk. however, if you're based in America, you're going to go over to ebaycom. if you're based in France, you're going to go over to ebayfr, etc. etc. you just need to make sure that you head over to the right eBay website. then what you're going to do is obviously click on register- start. if you don't already have an account now I do have to say at this point that if you've already got an ebay account that you've been using for the past three years, five years, ten years, whatever the case is, it's going to make the whole process a lot more easier because you're going to be able to convert that buyer's account into a selling account, which again is going to speed up the entire process. but if you don't already have one, you're going to be able to sign up fairly easily. at this stage. you just need to make sure that you put all of the correct details: the correct surname, correct first name, correct email address, password. at this stage it doesn't really matter if you click on personal account or business account, because you're going to be able to change it after you've set your account up. so just make sure that you select whichever one applies to you, make sure that you put the correct details and then click on register. so once you

here are a couple of ways that you can go ahead and do it for completely free and do it relatively fast. okay, without suggesting: just search tiktok- mainly buy it- or amazon finds on tiktok and just scroll and you come across a bunch of different posts and videos of literally accounts showing you the next hot thing to buy. another huge way i've been able to find winning products is just simply following mean pages on all social media platforms- twitter, instagram, facebook. the reason is because other dropshippers and e-commerce people they're gonna pay these pages to promote their products. so if you follow enough accounts, what's gonna happen is that if you just scroll every single day on all these platforms, you're gonna see ads for products and people are not gonna pay someone to advertise the product unless they really believe it's something that's gonna work. so all you literally have to do is just sit there, scroll, like you usually would when you know i'm saying watching gossip or whatever- just scroll and then, when you see a product being advertised, just save it to your computer, add it to your store and literally test it out as well. now, after you've found some products that you're interested in testing that you know meet the criteria of a winning product- you know that wow factor with a problem-solving ability or that wow factor with a passionate audience. the next step is to then go ahead and find a store name- and i preferably would do a general store name, just because you can literally sell anything in any niche on a general store domain. okay, so how do you find a name for your website? all you have to do is just come here to businessnamemakercom and, as you can see here, it says, enter keywords like tik, marketing agency, so that way they can generate a good name that you know is free and available for you to use. so right now we're just gonna- i'm just gonna- write something like oasis, because you know that goes well with websites and it's easy to pronounce and a bunch of names will literally pop up like: look at this oasis hut, so many different names, and then let's say you want to click this one and then you want to see if it's available. all you have to do is then come here on the dot com, click on it- it'll open up godaddy and to tell you if it's available or not. after you find a starting that's easy to pronounce and just easy to remember, the next step is to then go ahead and create an email account that matches that store name so that you know when people have questions about their order or whatever, they can go ahead and contact you through that email that matches your store name because you don't want someone to go on your website that's called leoncom. but then when they email you, your email is rockstarbaby101, gmailcom. know what i'm saying? this is exactly how i made sixteen thousand dollars my first month online. i'm gonna be going over exactly how i was making thousands of dollars in my first month online as a total beginner through a shipping is, you essentially create an online website, you add products to your store and then advertise your store and eventually make tons of money in the process. and so during this time, i was 17 years old and i was scrolling on tiktok. i found out people were literally posting tiktoks about their products and they were getting millions of views, which would end up getting them thousands of dollars in sales. and, honestly, after seeing so many people get rich off of tiktok drop shipping, i knew i had to hop on the wave. i stumbled across this tiktok page called my soul lift, and this guy's second video on tiktok got 36 million views, and pretty much what he was selling were these soul lifts that you put in your shoes to make you look taller, and me, being five eight- i'm a lot shorter than most of my friends that are six foot six foot three and you know, if you're short, like five five or five six, compared to other guys, you're going to feel insecure. so i knew there was a market for this product. a lot of shorter guys would want this product, especially if they're gonna go on dates, go to prom or whatever it is. i see a lot of short people actually buying this product and i knew i had to do the same exact thing he was doing, because clearly he was getting a lot of views and he was getting a lot of followers during this tiktok. now this guy was selling this product for 20, but i knew there was drop shipping suppliers like zen, dropper, alibaba, and i knew i could get this product for way cheaper from those platforms. and since i knew i could get this product for way cheaper, it was time to create my own website and start selling this product so i could start making some money. now the first thing you want to do once you found your product is you want to go on shopifycom and create your 14 day free trial, and once you created your free trial, you can use either xendrop or oberlo to import the products you found for way cheaper and start customizing your store now. my number one advice for every single person that's creating a shopify store is: take inspiration from people that are already selling your product, and in my case, this guy's soul lift important platforms, in my opinion, when you start off, are tik-tok and instagram. other platforms like facebook, pinterest and youtube come later, after you start making some money, but definitely focus on those two in the beginning. if we go ahead and look at this guy's instagram page, it's very, very simple. you know. you don't want to go crazy and buy a lot of followers on instagram. you can honestly buy 500 followers on buzzoid. it's a very cheap website to buy instagram followers just to give you some credibility. on tiktok, you do not want to buy followers because it is going to affect the algorithm. but instagram, go ahead and buy 500 followers just for that boost of credibility. and when it comes to building the website, when it comes to creating the social media pages, just want to take inspiration from your competitors and people who are already making money and getting views from your product and see how the descriptions are, how their profile picture is, and just take inspiration because you want to do what's already working and that's the best way you're going to start making money, especially when it comes to drop shipping. so once you found your product, you created the website, you started your social media pages. it's now time to order the product so you can actually start making tiktoks off of it. tik tok icon. they say: what are the? what are the numbers? now, the one thing i do recommend is order your product from amazon. you can literally look up the same exact product. you can get an unbranded one with no logo on amazon so you can actually start making videos off of it and amazon prime it so it comes in one to two days. so once your product arrives, you can finally start making tiktoks. finally, and the way you want to do it is recreate their viral tiktoks, and you want to keep doing it every single day and be consistent. no, it doesn't matter if you post three of the same videos that went viral, because with tiktok, it's all about making sure you know you're doing something that's already working and that's already went viral. don't try to make original ideas and make your own tiktoks. for the first few weeks of testing a product, want to recreate viral videos exactly how they work. the only thing you have to do when recreating a viral video is: try to have better lighting, try to have better quality, but other than that, recreate the video exactly how you saw it, because if it got millions of views, you don't want to change up anything, whether it was the background or anything like that. you want to recreate the video exactly how you saw it. so once you start posting on tiktok, i recommend posting three times a day, every single day. the times that work for me around 3 pm to 5 pm eastern. obviously, everyone is different. you have to test out different times. those are what worked for me. do not miss a single day of posting, because if you miss a day you can really screw up the algorithm. so definitely i don't recommend doing that now. if you're in a different country- you're not in the us, you know. if you're in europe or italy or anywhere like that- try to recreate those tiktoks, but just do them in your own language, because you don't have to try and get to a us algorithm. you can literally try and get in your country's algorithm and trying to see if that works. but once you're making those tik toks, you know you're testing the product. repost everything on instagram reels and be consistent on instagram and be consistent on tiktok and you have to make sure you're doing this every single day to see if the product is gonna make you a lot of money. now remember you can't have a link in the bio of your tiktok page until you have a thousand followers, so that first week you have to be trying to get a viral video and push out your content and that will eventually get you a thousand followers. if the first few weeks you can't get a thousand followers, then you have to look at your product or the content you're making, because one of the things you're doing wrong and getting a thousand followers is not that hard if you have a good product and if you're recreating viral i'm gonna tok about this quickly, just for beginners that are unsure about the drop shipping model. so a customer will place an order on your website, on your online store, in order for 200. obviously we don't work with these big numbers. typically they're smaller products, but this is just an example. so the customer places an order on your store for 200 and then you're going to go to your supplier. you're going to find this product online for cheaper, so you're going to charge 200 in your store for this product, but you found a supplier that has it for 150.. so you're going to place the order for your customer for 150. you're going to take their 200.. instead of you shipping the product, the supplier is going to ship the product and then the supplier ships the product directly to your customer. so your store is just the middle man between the customer and the supplier and for doing this, you get to keep 50 profit of this sale. so if you guys are familiar with my channel, i always say it's 25 the product and 75 how you market it. so the questions to ask yourself is: how entertaining is this product? can you relate this product to your own life? what content can you actually create with this product and how much content can you create with this product? because the marketing side of it is more important than the product itself. so the top niche categories for 2022 and probably beyond 2022 is beauty, pets, tiknology, kids, gifts, photography and fitness. i'm going to show you guys a couple of examples and let's dive right into this tutorial and i'm going to show you guys how you guys can find products to sell in 2022. so i want you guys to go on to google and type in tiktok- trend discovery. we're going to search for that right now. so it's this one right here: trend discovery, hot content on tiktok. click on this. tiktok is definitely the most popular social media right now, meaning that there are people that are running ads on it. although we are not going to run ads on it because we don't have to, tiktok shows your videos without you having to pay for ads. that's the beauty of tiktok. so, but we're still going to use what people are running ads as, just as a reference to see. so i'm just going to click select, all here. i'm gonna select united states, because i personally target the united states when i was drop shipping, and then go ahead and just scroll down and we're gonna try to see and look for products and you guys can see a lot of these um, people, i think they're selling mostly digital products or apps. so you guys can get a lot of different ideas of things that people are selling on tik tok and what people are actually buying ads for, even though you're not going to buy ads. what's crazy is that all of these things- the people that they bought these ads- they didn't have to do this, because tiktok pushes out your content. if you have good content, it'll push it out. this is actually the type of product i recommended in one of my previous videos on my youtube channel. people really love anything that you can create content-wise, that's something satisfying and that also adds value, which is why i love this person's content, how they're promoting this product again. they could have did this without buying ads and could have made their business viral without buying ads, which is how i grew my business on tik tok. but you guys know that if you've watched my other videos, i don't recommend buying ads because it does harm your profit margin, and i tok about this more on my youtube channel if you guys want to get a reasoning of why i don't agree with buying ads. so i found this smart hula hoop on tiktok. it was a trending item, so i decided to look into this product and because this stuck out to me as a drop shipping product, i decided to base this video on this product today, just as an example to show you guys. now, obviously, with this kind of product, you do have to show your face because you're showing off a fitness type product. as you guys can see, there's so many products across tiktok that you guys can still sell without showing your face. if you guys are unfamiliar with my business, this is my e-commerce story body fold that i grew just from tiktok without paying for any ads, as you guys can see- the link is in my bio right here and you guys can see how i did my bio and everything. but you guys can see that i sell and i make sales. this one got one million views and i don't even show my face. now i do sell products that i ship myself, which i explain why i do that on my youtube channel. but i just want to show you guys an example that you guys can sell products online without showing your face. i hardly ever show mine- very rarely do i show mine like right here, but that's a very rare occurrence and my most viral videos don't include my face, and one niche that might work good for one person might be different for another. so the first thing that i do when i find a product that might be a potential product to sell is i google it. so i typed in hula hoop exercise to see what would come up, so you guys can see right away. this dh gate listing came up and if you guys are unfamiliar with dhgate, dhgate is very similar to aliexpress, so obviously


in this video i'm gonna be doing drop shipping for seven days without using shopify, and when you think of drop shipping, you straight away think of shopify. and in this seven day challenge, today i will be using shopify, i'll be using an alternative, and the whole point of today's challenge is to see if it really is important to use shopify or not for your success. now, other than seven figures with shopify. so for me not to use shopify is going to feel really weird and i'm really interested to see if my results will change because i'm not using shopify. hey guys, welcome back to the youtube channel. my name is camille sardone, is the ecom king, and in today's video challenge, i'm gonna be doing drop shipping for seven days without using shopify and i'm gonna be using an alternative. now, this is gonna be the breakdown on the seven days ahead. so today's monday, and we're gonna be doing the challenge till sunday, and what i'm gonna be doing today is i'll be picking the product, i'll be creating the marketing materials, creating the website and running the facebook ad campaign, and then tomorrow, which is tuesday, i'm gonna be optimizing the campaigns, making sure everything's working really nicely, and i'm gonna be doing the same thing from tuesday till sunday, and then i'm gonna report back to you guys with the results of not using shopify for seven days- still doing drop shipping, and to see if my results are better, if i make more money in profit, what the whole conclusion is overall. now, i definitely recommend that you guys grab some snacks, some popcorn and some drinks, and i also recommend that you grab a pen, and paper or grab your laptop, because this video is going to be number one, really educational and number two, really entertaining as well, because any other day i'm gonna be showing you the whole seven days and i'm gonna be toking to you guys every single day on my journey throughout the seven day challenge to see how everything's going. so, guys, it's day one of the challenge and it's currently monday and i've got so many tasks to do today in such short time, so i've got to find a winning product, i've got to create a website, i've got to create the marketing materials. then i'm going to launch their facebook advertisements. now, for those that are thinking why you're not picking a brand name or a logo, that's because a week ago, or maybe a little before that, i came up with a niche idea, which was p camera. already made the logo already got the name domain name, so i thought i'd go with that, because it'll save a lot of time and also it's already a really good niche, because it's unsaturated with the whole situation that we're in at the moment. peak camo is all about outdoors and the military, and i just feel like it's such a great niche at the moment, so why not go with it? so that's what i'm going to be doing for this challenge. so that moves me onto the controversial question now, which is: what alternative are you using instead of shopify? and that alternative that i'm using is going to be commerce hq. and the reason why i'm using those guys is because they have everything in-house, and that's something that i've always wanted from shopify, which is have everything in one place instead of having to go out everywhere to find things. so commerce hq has all the winning product software in-house, they have all the apps in-house, they have everything in-house, no transaction fees. they seem like a dream, so that's why i wanted to go with them. now that brings me on to the first part of the video, which is finding a winning product [Music]. so, guys, this is how i was able to find the product of the choice for this seven day challenge using the commis hq winning product tool built into their software. so if you see me looking down, guys, is because i've got the laptop right here. so what you do is you go to the commerce hq dashboard, you go to the app store and you download this app called accelerator and it lets you find winning products inside of their own software. and you can see here they've got loads of different products on here and, as i was saying to you guys before, because i'm already in that outdoor and military niche, i went straight to the top here and i went through the different niches, which was outdoor and army. so, for example, i went to army and i went through all of these different products and i went to the aliexpress link. so if i click on this one- and obviously this is the product that we've gone for, which is the redlaser site and you can see here- it gives you the aliexpress link. i was going through the aliexpress links, looking at the daily orders, looking on google trends to see if different products are trending at the moment. i also looked on the facebook ad ad library and i also went on to the facebook ad videos to see if there's any other people selling these at the moment and i found out this product was the best because there was less competition, it had small traction. it's got like 300 orders. i thought that's enough for it to do potentially really well that way. if it does do well, the cost per results on the facebook ads and that are gonna be really cheap because nobody else is doing them. and i thought, because image ads would work really well because of the nature of the product with the laser, i thought that's going to help me out because if i can do image ads it keeps my costs low, my competition low. also, the biggest part of this- i'll be showing you this later after i make the website- it's all about what i can do as a post purchase, upsells and upsells with this product, and i thought this product can come with loads of different upsells, post purchase upsells, all that other great stuff which i'll be showing you later when i build the website. so i came on here and then it gives you the description for the product as well, also gives you all the images and it also gives you all the reviews which you can directly import through and it also gives you the ad copies and it also gives you the ad set um strategies you can use as well, and it also gives you the product price and recommendation. so this really does give you a lot. it does give you some really good products. it does give you. it just gives you everything: the descriptions, it gives you the ad copies you want to use and stuff like that. normally to do this, guys, when i use shopify, i have to use a third-party tool like dropship rabbit. so to be able to do it all in-house throughout their software just makes life easier and obviously it makes it cheaper as well. so that's how i was able to find this product, guys, through their software [Music], uh, [Music]. so, guys, i want to quickly show you the experience that i'm having building the website through communist hq. so you can see here i've almost finished the website and i want to give you my experience at the moment. so over here you've got all the drag and drop elements that you can drag over onto the website, and then here you've got the do, different pre-built sections, then you've got the layers and then you've got the assets, and then you've got the page seos and stuff like that. and again, guys, there's so much functionality because you can just click it, drag it and when you click on things- these are all the options that you've got, and you've got so many different options. you've got normal state and hover state basically means what happens when you hover over the button: will it change color, so that you can't even do in shopify unless you use code. so there's so many different things that you can do. if you click here where it says home, you can change it to the contact page, thank you page. there's so many different things you can do. you can add pages really easily as well. instead of having to go into shopify, add a page, you can do all through the editor. so, as you can see here, guys, it's so much
