00:00:51 00:00:55 generated around 3 800 in sales on this
00:00:54 00:00:57 store the profit margin is pretty good
00:00:55 00:00:59 as well i've done almost fifteen hundred
00:00:57 00:01:01 dollars in profit which is almost a
00:00:59 00:01:03 forty percent profit margin and if we
00:01:01 00:01:05 take a look at yesterday's stats you can
00:01:03 00:01:07 see i sold around sixty seven hundred
00:01:05 00:01:09 dollars and made around eighteen hundred
00:01:07 00:01:10 dollars in profit i just wanted to prove
00:01:09 00:01:12 to you that this is working right now so
00:01:10 00:01:14 you know it's worth your time to watch
00:01:12 00:01:16 this whole video so there are four main
00:01:14 00:01:17 things that go into building a
00:01:16 00:01:20 successful drop shipping store the first
00:01:17 00:01:22 one is your product the second one is
00:01:20 00:01:23 your store the third is your marketing
00:01:22 00:01:25 and how you get customers and the fourth
00:01:23 00:01:26 is running your business and shipping
00:01:25 00:01:29 out your orders now i'm gonna break down
00:01:26 00:01:30 each of these one by one as simple as
00:01:29 00:01:32 possible so let's get started with
00:01:30 00:01:34 products so without a winning product
00:01:32 00:01:36 it's pretty much impossible to have
00:01:34 00:01:38 success with drop shipping thankfully
00:01:36 00:01:40 there are a ton of products out there
00:01:38 00:01:42 that you can sell every single week new
00:01:40 00:01:43 winning products pop up so the
00:01:42 00:01:45 opportunities are always fresh there's
00:01:43 00:01:47 really only three things that i look for
00:01:45 00:01:49 when determining if a product is a
00:01:47 00:01:51 winning product the first thing is if
00:01:49 00:01:53 the product has been recently trending
00:01:51 00:01:56 on facebook and instagram what i mean by
00:01:53 00:01:59 trending is that there is a ad that is
00:01:56 00:02:01 getting a ton of views shares comments
00:01:59 00:02:03 and likes and people are going crazy for
00:02:01 00:02:04 the product this is a great sign that
00:02:03 00:02:06 you can make money off of this product
00:02:04 00:02:08 because people are already interested in
00:02:06 00:02:09 it as long as you do something a little
00:02:08 00:02:11 bit better than the person that's
00:02:09 00:02:13 already selling it you can swoop right
00:02:11 00:02:15 in compete with them and make money
00:02:13 00:02:17 selling that same product this is
00:02:15 00:02:19 exactly what i've done for every single
00:02:17 00:02:21 one of my winning products and it's
00:02:19 00:02:23 worked time and time again the next
00:02:21 00:02:25 thing i look for is mass appeal my
00:02:23 00:02:26 favorite type of products are the ones
00:02:25 00:02:28 that can be sold to the masses i don't
00:02:26 00:02:31 love the extremely narrowed down
00:02:28 00:02:33 products that only apply to a small set
00:02:31 00:02:35 of people yes they will buy the product
00:02:33 00:02:37 but if we ever want to scale and build
00:02:35 00:02:39 something big we need something that we
00:02:37 00:02:41 can sell to almost everybody it's okay
00:02:39 00:02:44 if it's a little narrow like it's only
00:02:41 00:02:46 for women or it's only for men but the
00:02:44 00:02:48 broader the better the last thing i look
00:02:46 00:02:50 for is good profit margins what i
00:02:48 00:02:52 consider to be good profit margins is
00:02:50 00:02:54 being able to sell the product for three
00:02:52 00:02:56 times the cost it takes to ship it out
00:02:54 00:02:58 to the customer so if the product costs
00:02:56 00:02:59 you around 10 to send it to your
00:02:58 00:03:01 customer you want to be able to sell it
00:02:59 00:03:03 for at least 30 and that's pretty much
00:03:01 00:03:05 all i look for in a winning product let
00:03:03 00:03:06 me show you a live example of exactly
00:03:05 00:03:10 what i'm toking about okay so this
00:03:06 00:03:12 product is an absolute banger basically
00:03:10 00:03:15 it is a garden privacy fence that you
00:03:12 00:03:17 set up in your backyard as you can see
00:03:15 00:03:19 this product was launched on march 8th
00:03:17 00:03:21 of this year and they've already got
00:03:19 00:03:23 over 70 000 likes on this post if you
00:03:21 00:03:26 check out the comments people are going
00:03:23 00:03:28 crazy for this they love it they really
00:03:26 00:03:29 enjoy the product but the people that
00:03:28 00:03:33 are selling it aren't doing a good job
00:03:29 00:03:35 and if we look at their video it's not
00:03:33 00:03:37 really that good and then if we go to
00:03:35 00:03:39 their website it's the same thing it's
00:03:37 00:03:41 really not that good this product has
00:03:39 00:03:44 great profit margins as well you can see
00:03:41 00:03:45 that it cost around four dollars on the
00:03:44 00:03:47 low end to ship to a customer and
00:03:45 00:03:50 they're selling it for anywhere from
00:03:47 00:03:52 1999 all the way up to almost a hundred
00:03:50 00:03:55 dollars per sale so if you came in and
00:03:52 00:03:57 made a slightly better video a slightly
00:03:55 00:03:59 better website you could clean up off of
00:03:57 00:04:01 this product and make a ton of money so
00:03:59 00:04:03 like i said that product is an absolute
00:04:01 00:04:04 banger and a perfect example of a
00:04:03 00:04:06 winning product now how do you find
00:04:04 00:04:08 these products the tried and true method
00:04:06 00:04:10 that i've been using for years is simply
00:04:08 00:04:12 just looking on your facebook and
00:04:10 00:04:14 instagram feed every single day you're
00:04:12 00:04:16 going to get targeted with ads for drop
00:04:14 00:04:18 shipping products eventually and every
00:04:16 00:04:20 time you get targeted with one of these
00:04:18 00:04:22 ads you need to show facebook that
00:04:20 00:04:24 you're interested so you want to go to
00:04:22 00:04:26 the ad you want to like you want to
00:04:24 00:04:28 comment you want to go to the website
00:04:26 00:04:30 you want to click add to cart and show
00:04:28 00:04:32 facebook that you're trying to buy stuff
00:04:30 00:04:34 like this so they will start
00:04:32 00:04:36 recommending you more products and your
00:04:34 00:04:38 feed is just going to become the best
00:04:36 00:04:40 product research tool that you have
00:04:38 00:04:41 that's my favorite method but i also
00:04:40 00:04:43 created a tool that automates this

00:04:47 00:04:51 that fits this criteria so once you've
00:04:49 00:04:53 got that product now you've got to build
00:04:51 00:04:54 a store now there are a couple different
00:04:53 00:04:56 types of stores that you could build you
00:04:54 00:04:58 could build a general store which is a
00:04:56 00:05:00 store that has a bunch of random
00:04:58 00:05:02 products all around it you could build a
00:05:00 00:05:04 one product store which is a store that
00:05:02 00:05:06 only focuses on selling one main product
00:05:04 00:05:08 or you can build a hybrid store which is
00:05:06 00:05:10 what i recommend building a hybrid store
00:05:08 00:05:12 combines the benefit of a one product
00:05:10 00:05:14 store and a general store with a general
00:05:12 00:05:16 store you have freedom to test a bunch
00:05:14 00:05:18 of products and with a one product store
00:05:16 00:05:20 you're limited but you're gonna have a
00:05:18 00:05:22 higher conversion rate and people are
00:05:20 00:05:24 gonna trust you much more than a general
00:05:22 00:05:26 store with a hybrid store you're
00:05:24 00:05:28 creating the same branded feel that a
00:05:26 00:05:30 one product store would have but with
00:05:28 00:05:31 the freedom to test a bunch of products
00:05:30 00:05:33 i think it's better if i just show you
00:05:31 00:05:35 an example so this is a sample store
00:05:33 00:05:36 that i created that would actually be
00:05:35 00:05:38 perfect for the product i just showed
00:05:36 00:05:40 you the store is called flora flow as
00:05:38 00:05:42 you can see it's pretty much focused
00:05:40 00:05:45 entirely on home and garden based
00:05:42 00:05:47 products it has a nice branded design it
00:05:45 00:05:50 has a good logo it's easy to browse and
00:05:47 00:05:52 shop around and overall it feels like a
00:05:50 00:05:54 trustworthy site i recently made a video

00:05:57 00:06:01 in this video is to model your store off
00:05:59 00:06:04 of what's already working this is not
00:06:01 00:06:06 some brand new design i came up with i
00:06:04 00:06:07 just put my own little twist on what was
00:06:06 00:06:09 already working you don't have to
00:06:07 00:06:11 reinvent the wheel you just have to take
00:06:09 00:06:13 what's working and add a little bit of
00:06:11 00:06:16 your own sauce to it so i would advise
00:06:13 00:06:18 taking your product building a store
00:06:16 00:06:19 like this and filling it up with
00:06:18 00:06:21 products that are similar to the one
00:06:19 00:06:23 you're selling here's another really
00:06:21 00:06:26 good example of a hybrid store this one
00:06:23 00:06:27 is called arctik shirt and as you can
00:06:26 00:06:30 see they sell a bunch of home decor
00:06:27 00:06:32 products as well they have the moon lamp
00:06:30 00:06:34 this kitchen set they have bedding they
00:06:32 00:06:36 have all types of products but the store
00:06:34 00:06:39 is really nice branded and feels
00:06:36 00:06:41 extremely trustworthy in my opinion this
00:06:39 00:06:43 is the best approach for beginners so
00:06:41 00:06:45 give it a try next up you need to get
00:06:43 00:06:47 some traffic and customers to your
00:06:45 00:06:49 website personally my favorite method
00:06:47 00:06:51 for starting with a new store is
00:06:49 00:06:54 facebook ads it does cost a little bit
00:06:51 00:06:55 of money to run ads on facebook so i
00:06:54 00:06:57 recommend that you have at least a
00:06:55 00:06:59 couple hundred dollars before running
00:06:57 00:07:01 apps but the major benefit of doing it
00:06:59 00:07:03 this way is that you can kick start your
00:07:01 00:07:05 business in a snap once you have a
00:07:03 00:07:07 product and an ad campaign that's
00:07:05 00:07:09 working you can go from making a couple
00:07:07 00:07:12 sales a day to making thousands of
00:07:09 00:07:14 dollars a day in just a matter of weeks
00:07:12 00:07:16 it's much harder to do that with free
00:07:14 00:07:18 traffic so that's why i recommend you
00:07:16 00:07:20 guys learn how to run ads the first step
00:07:18 00:07:23 when it comes to running ads is creating
00:07:20 00:07:24 a video ad for your product personally i
00:07:23 00:07:27 recommend that you learn this skill
00:07:24 00:07:29 yourself my friend tan actually made a
00:07:27 00:07:31 video recently on how to make video ads
00:07:29 00:07:34 so i'll link his down below it's a good
00:07:31 00:07:36 tutorial and tan does very well with his
00:07:34 00:07:37 drop shipping store so check that out if

00:07:37 00:07:42 don't want to learn the skill you can
00:07:39 00:07:44 pay to have somebody create ads for you
00:07:42 00:07:46 i think the best service out for video
00:07:44 00:07:47 ads is called bands off ads i've worked
00:07:46 00:07:49 with them on a few projects and i've
00:07:47 00:07:51 been pleased with the results every
00:07:49 00:07:52 single time so once you get a video ad
00:07:51 00:07:55 created for your product it's time to
00:07:52 00:07:57 launch your first ad so here's a simple
00:07:55 00:07:59 low budget strategy that i use to launch
00:07:57 00:08:01 products on facebook you gotta make sure
00:07:59 00:08:04 your video ad is on point there's no
00:08:01 00:08:06 spelling errors no weird cuts everything
00:08:04 00:08:08 flows nicely and the video is super
00:08:06 00:08:10 clean once that's done you need to
00:08:08 00:08:12 create a facebook page and an instagram
00:08:10 00:08:14 page for your store after that go to
00:08:12 00:08:16 facebook create your business manager
00:08:14 00:08:18 create your ad account so you can start
00:08:16 00:08:22 running ads once that's done you want to
00:08:18 00:08:24 create a new campaign with five ad sets
00:08:22 00:08:25 ad sets are basically groups of
00:08:24 00:08:28 audiences that you're showing your
00:08:25 00:08:30 product to now inside of those ad sets
00:08:28 00:08:32 you want to put three to five similar
00:08:30 00:08:35 interests so think of five groups of
00:08:32 00:08:37 people that would be interested in your
00:08:35 00:08:41 product for the privacy fence i came up
00:08:37 00:08:44 with gardening furniture plants diy and
00:08:41 00:08:46 interior design so for your first ad set
00:08:44 00:08:48 you want to take the broad interest of
00:08:46 00:08:50 gardening and plug that in then you want
00:08:48 00:08:53 to hit the suggestions tool and click on
00:08:50 00:08:55 at least two more audiences that are
00:08:53 00:08:57 similar to gardening for the countries i
00:08:55 00:08:59 recommend targeting the big four
00:08:57 00:09:02 countries which are the united states
00:08:59 00:09:04 united kingdom canada and australia i
00:09:02 00:09:06 recommend that you set the budget at 10
00:09:04 00:09:07 to 20 dollars a day higher the budget
00:09:06 00:09:09 the better because you're going to get
00:09:07 00:09:10 data much faster so once you created
00:09:09 00:09:12 your ad set now you have to create your
00:09:10 00:09:14 ad basically all you do is upload your
00:09:12 00:09:16 video and then you have to come with
00:09:14 00:09:18 some copy for the post copy is just the
00:09:16 00:09:20 text that pops up on the post so if i
00:09:18 00:09:22 was going to launch this product i would
00:09:20 00:09:23 use some ad copy like this firstly you
00:09:22 00:09:25 need to come up with some type of hook
00:09:23 00:09:26 for your product in this case we could
00:09:25 00:09:28 say beautify your yard and create
00:09:26 00:09:31 instant privacy in minutes i also like
00:09:28 00:09:33 to put emojis so we could go in and
00:09:31 00:09:34 paste this emoji right here and now it
00:09:33 00:09:37 looks a lot cleaner next thing i like to
00:09:34 00:09:38 do is put three bullet point benefits of
00:09:37 00:09:40 the product so the first benefit would
00:09:38 00:09:42 be the beauty that this product is
00:09:40 00:09:44 providing for the second benefit we
00:09:42 00:09:46 could say easy setup
00:09:44 00:09:48 in minutes and for the last benefit we
00:09:46 00:09:52 can say that it's weatherproof to last
00:09:48 00:09:53 all year if you're struggling to come up
00:09:52 00:09:56 with these benefits just look at your
00:09:53 00:09:58 competitors product page typically
00:09:56 00:09:59 they're going to put clear benefits on
00:09:58 00:10:01 there and you can take those and mold
00:09:59 00:10:03 them in your own way and then lastly we
00:10:01 00:10:05 give a call to action so we give them a
00:10:03 00:10:07 discount let them know that we have free
00:10:05 00:10:09 shipping and we send them the link to
00:10:07 00:10:12 our website so after that you want to
00:10:09 00:10:14 duplicate your ad set four times change
00:10:12 00:10:15 up the audiences and your campaign is
00:10:14 00:10:18 good to go you're going to want to let
00:10:15 00:10:20 it run for at least two days and then
00:10:18 00:10:22 analyze the results to see how you did
00:10:20 00:10:24 at this point one of two things is going
00:10:22 00:10:26 to happen your product is working and
00:10:24 00:10:28 you're making consistent sales or your
00:10:26 00:10:30 product completely flopped and no one
00:10:28 00:10:32 bought it in the first scenario

00:11:07 00:11:11 your ad but they're not buying your
00:11:09 00:11:13 website needs a lot of work if nobody's
00:11:11 00:11:15 clicking on your ad your ads need a lot
00:11:13 00:11:16 of work and vice versa once you figure
00:11:15 00:11:19 out what you did wrong you need to
00:11:16 00:11:20 improve those areas that you're weak at
00:11:19 00:11:22 whether that's making your website
00:11:20 00:11:24 better or making better video ads or
00:11:22 00:11:26 even picking better products figure out
00:11:24 00:11:28 where you can improve and take it from
00:11:26 00:11:30 there i would suggest that after you
00:11:28 00:11:32 make those improvements try to test the
00:11:30 00:11:34 product one more time and if it fails a
00:11:32 00:11:36 second time then move on to another
00:11:34 00:11:38 product you can launch that next product
00:11:36 00:11:40 on the same store and just keep
00:11:38 00:11:41 repeating the process until you find a
00:11:40 00:11:44 winner so that's a simple breakdown to
00:11:41 00:11:46 getting customers with facebook there's
00:11:44 00:11:47 a lot that goes into running ads but
00:11:46 00:11:49 hopefully that's enough to get you
00:11:47 00:11:51 started and the last step is fulfilling
00:11:49 00:11:53 orders and making sure your customers
00:11:51 00:11:55 are cool so filling orders is super easy
00:11:53 00:11:57 you can use an app called oberlo to
00:11:55 00:11:59 fulfill orders with aliexpress directly
00:11:57 00:12:00 there's a ton of videos on how to do
00:11:59 00:12:03 that so we're not going to get into that
00:12:00 00:12:05 today it's very easy also make sure to
00:12:03 00:12:06 check your email every single day when
00:12:05 00:12:08 you're getting orders because your
00:12:06 00:12:10 customers are going to reach out and you
00:12:08 00:12:11 don't want to leave them on red
00:12:10 00:12:13 providing a good experience to your
00:12:11 00:12:15 customers is one of the most important
00:12:13 00:12:18 things when drop shipping because the
00:12:15 00:12:20 shipping times are kind of long you have
00:12:18 00:12:21 to be there to tok and work with your
00:12:20 00:12:24 customers so that's pretty much my exact
00:12:21 00:12:26 strategy for starting a new store from
00:12:24 00:12:28 scratch this is exactly what i did and
00:12:26 00:12:31 from using this strategy i'm making
00:12:28 00:12:33 around 150k a month consistently with a
00:12:31 00:12:36 lot of room to grow obviously there is a
00:12:33 00:12:37 lot more to running a business like this
00:12:36 00:12:39 but that's why i'm dropping new videos
00:12:37 00:12:41 every friday to hopefully try to cover
00:12:39 00:12:43 everything that i can i've got a bunch
00:12:41 00:12:45 more videos on drop shipping so if you
