00:02:01 00:02:05 it here makes no sense you can't do that

00:02:26 00:02:32 can do like a basic you can do a basic
00:02:30 00:02:34 like common sense like use your common
00:02:32 00:02:36 sense to be like oh is this an ad that
00:02:34 00:02:38 would be for cold traffic versus like a
00:02:36 00:02:40 hot traffic right that's exactly why
00:02:38 00:02:42 this section is a downfall for a lot of

00:02:42 00:02:45 just go and copy and paste like your
00:02:43 00:02:48 biggest competitors ads when that is not

00:04:19 00:04:23 my buyers so how do we now associate
00:04:21 00:04:27 each of one of these the messaging
00:04:23 00:04:29 these specific people okay so what I
00:04:27 00:04:32 like to do is for example it's like a
00:04:29 00:04:34 cold cold audience right people that
00:04:32 00:04:35 have no idea who you are right they
00:04:34 00:04:37 don't they don't know you they don't
00:04:35 00:04:39 like you they're not maybe even gonna
00:04:37 00:04:40 thinking about giving you any sort of
00:04:39 00:04:43 money the kind of messaging I like to
00:04:40 00:04:46 use here is gonna be like really really
00:04:43 00:04:48 really a hooky sort of stuff all right
00:04:46 00:04:49 cuz I'm trying to hope people guys like
00:04:48 00:04:52 this is the problem with a lot of people
00:04:49 00:04:54 that run Facebook ads is you're not
00:04:52 00:04:55 throwing out in a variation out there
00:04:54 00:04:57 into the world right
00:04:55 00:05:00 you've got to Facebook works better when
00:04:57 00:05:02 you give it variation use more images

00:05:17 00:05:22 the way I like to set up my Facebook ads
00:05:20 00:05:25 for the for like a cold and let's just
00:05:22 00:05:28 do this look just to keep this easy for
00:05:25 00:05:30 you guys right this is how I want you to
00:05:28 00:05:32 set up your your your business manager
00:05:30 00:05:34 right your ads manager account right you
00:05:32 00:05:36 creeks just create three campaigns right
00:05:34 00:05:39 you're gonna have your cold campaign
00:05:36 00:05:42 right all right he was gonna name it
00:05:39 00:05:44 cold right cold traffic cold audiences
00:05:42 00:05:46 right and inside here right you're gonna
00:05:44 00:05:50 have your ad sets right so we'll just
00:05:46 00:05:53 say ad set ad set number one right ad
00:05:50 00:05:56 set number one now under ad set one you
00:05:53 00:06:00 want to target one specific interest or
00:05:56 00:06:02 one interest one interest group okay
00:06:00 00:06:03 that's it right because we need to
00:06:02 00:06:05 thoroughly test which interest groups
00:06:03 00:06:07 are working which is interest groups are
00:06:05 00:06:10 not if you're brand new to e-commerce
00:06:07 00:06:12 and you have no buyers on your pixel yet

00:06:41 00:06:45 buyers yet so it's key to understand
00:06:44 00:06:46 this and you're gonna have to do
00:06:45 00:06:49 interest based targeting at least till
00:06:46 00:06:52 you have I mean whoa and 500 but
00:06:49 00:06:53 preferably to a thousand buyers right
00:06:52 00:06:55 you want to guess that thousand buyers
00:06:53 00:06:58 before you do any sort of like
00:06:55 00:07:00 look-alike audiences or targeting
00:06:58 00:07:02 anything above a million right you want
00:07:00 00:07:05 to stay here before a million audience
00:07:02 00:07:06 sighs okay guys because if you try and
00:07:05 00:07:07 go do a million audience you might see
00:07:06 00:07:08 some good results right now but it's
00:07:07 00:07:10 gonna be hard for you to scale a
00:07:08 00:07:12 million-person audience if you only have
00:07:10 00:07:16 a 100 buyers it's just the way it is
00:07:12 00:07:17 okay now again cold campaign ads at
00:07:16 00:07:18 number one we're targeting one interest
00:07:17 00:07:20 group the interest groups got to be to
00:07:18 00:07:22 five hundred eight hundred thousand
00:07:20 00:07:23 audience size and their go we're gonna
00:07:22 00:07:26 run these kind of interest groups and
00:07:23 00:07:27 and you guys I'm toking like you test a
00:07:26 00:07:29 lot of these right same thing with ad
00:07:27 00:07:32 set number two right number two right
00:07:29 00:07:34 same exact criteria that you want to
00:07:32 00:07:37 find now inside each of these ads right
00:07:34 00:07:40 inside each of these ads your our ad set
00:07:37 00:07:42 you're going to have your ads right and
00:07:40 00:07:46 each I would recommend at least having
00:07:42 00:07:49 four four and the key thing here is
00:07:46 00:07:51 there's two pieces to each ads right you
00:07:49 00:07:56 have your Wong let's just do one two
00:07:51 00:08:00 three four you're gonna have four ads
00:07:56 00:08:02 inside of each ad set okay now with here
00:08:00 00:08:05 the key to understand is there's two
00:08:02 00:08:11 pieces to your ads right there's the the
00:08:05 00:08:13 copy and creative right so here what I
00:08:11 00:08:15 would do is your copy believe it or not
00:08:13 00:08:17 look at the guy look like a split test
00:08:15 00:08:19 your copy 100% but for newbies your
00:08:17 00:08:20 pictures usually gonna be the thing that
00:08:19 00:08:22 gets somebody off of Facebook and then
00:08:20 00:08:24 you sell on the landing page okay key to
00:08:22 00:08:25 understand right there guys all right
00:08:24 00:08:27 look write that one down like the whole
00:08:25 00:08:29 purpose of your ad is to actually sell
00:08:27 00:08:33 the click okay you selling your landing
00:08:29 00:08:36 pages okay so copy number one right copy
00:08:33 00:08:37 number one copy number one this will all
00:08:36 00:08:41 be the same this is I keep things easy
00:08:37 00:08:45 here okay copy number one copy number
00:08:41 00:08:46 one and creative number one creative
00:08:45 00:08:50 number two
00:08:46 00:08:53 creative number three and creative
00:08:50 00:08:55 number four so you can see why this is
00:08:53 00:08:57 pretty simple right guys because all the
00:08:55 00:08:58 copy is going to be same description had
00:08:57 00:08:59 lines going to be the same but the only
00:08:58 00:09:01 thing that's different is going to be
00:08:59 00:09:04 like the image use or the video you use
00:09:01 00:09:06 because you need variation here you need
00:09:04 00:09:08 variation in your ads this is how
00:09:06 00:09:11 Facebook responds better when you
00:09:08 00:09:13 initially launch these ad sets okay
00:09:11 00:09:15 then you simply duplicate this ad set to
00:09:13 00:09:17 keep everything the same keep it all the
00:09:15 00:09:18 same and just change the interest group
00:09:17 00:09:21 that's how you run cold traffic
00:09:18 00:09:22 campaigns okay that's in its easiest
00:09:21 00:09:27 easiest sense okay
00:09:22 00:09:28 now warm traffic right warm traffic is
00:09:27 00:09:30 gonna be a little bit different okay
00:09:28 00:09:33 because warm traffic has show some
00:09:30 00:09:35 interest in your business right they
00:09:33 00:09:37 might have opted in right they might
00:09:35 00:09:38 have given you an email address for like
00:09:37 00:09:40 a free bait they might have opted in on
00:09:38 00:09:42 a free putt shipping offer right they've
00:09:40 00:09:43 shown some interest they understand what
00:09:42 00:09:45 your business is
00:09:43 00:09:49 right so with warm traffic campaigns
00:09:45 00:09:51 right typically you're gonna have a
00:09:49 00:09:55 you're gonna have your abandoned cart
00:09:51 00:09:56 right your abandoned cart sequences and
00:09:55 00:09:59 I'm gonna write bandit and your bandit
00:09:56 00:10:01 car to guys like your abandoned cart
00:09:59 00:10:02 when and I hate to say this because
00:10:01 00:10:05 there's a lot that goes into this
00:10:02 00:10:07 but with this like at least get took a
00:10:05 00:10:08 ten thousand person audience eyes here
00:10:07 00:10:10 before you do any sort of retargeting
00:10:08 00:10:11 here okay that's like really important
00:10:10 00:10:13 to understand otherwise this isn't gonna
00:10:11 00:10:15 really work out well friend you're gonna
00:10:13 00:10:16 waste a good amount of money if you have
00:10:15 00:10:18 ten thousand person audience eyes the
00:10:16 00:10:20 most you can get to is ten dollars a day
00:10:18 00:10:22 so just understand that like you can't
00:10:20 00:10:26 scale these warm audiences as quickly
00:10:22 00:10:28 okay but warm audiences for me are going
00:10:26 00:10:30 to be people that have opted in so maybe
00:10:28 00:10:31 I'll do like an abandoned cart sequence
00:10:30 00:10:33 for people that have opted in but then
00:10:31 00:10:34 it by and a lot of these people guys
00:10:33 00:10:37 they're just gonna want to know more
00:10:34 00:10:43 information so I'll do like reviews
00:10:37 00:10:44 write unboxings write testimonials where
00:10:43 00:10:46 I have our current customer five-star
00:10:44 00:10:48 rating right what my goal here is with
00:10:46 00:10:50 these kind of retargeting campaigns and
00:10:48 00:10:53 warm traffic is I'm just trying to boost
00:10:50 00:10:54 my credibility that's it I'm just trying
00:10:53 00:10:56 to get more credibility with this person
00:10:54 00:10:57 that that has come in contact with my
00:10:56 00:10:59 business say hey look all these other
00:10:57 00:11:00 people are using us it's safe it's safe
00:10:59 00:11:02 to come here and buy
00:11:00 00:11:04 from me okay that's the whole point of
00:11:02 00:11:06 the warm traffic and then real quick hot
00:11:04 00:11:08 traffic is your current buyers simple
00:11:06 00:11:09 things these are like the easier kind of
00:11:08 00:11:11 stuff to set up but again you just need
00:11:09 00:11:12 to get that audience size first hot
00:11:11 00:11:14 traffic campaigns that's your that's
00:11:12 00:11:16 your existing buyers right those are
00:11:14 00:11:18 your buyers right what else can you sell
00:11:16 00:11:20 them hey push them to your monthly
00:11:18 00:11:22 subscription box your continuity program
00:11:20 00:11:25 push them to a new offer push them to an
00:11:22 00:11:27 affiliate offer whatever you got to do
00:11:25 00:11:29 make more money right though if you have
00:11:27 00:11:31 a good amount of buyers and again here
00:11:29 00:11:33 you you I wouldn't like retarget my
00:11:31 00:11:36 buyers until I at least had that five
00:11:33 00:11:37 hundred to a thousand to again that just
00:11:36 00:11:38 me personally that's that's just the way
00:11:37 00:11:40 I would do it but let's jump into my
00:11:38 00:11:41 computer I'm gonna show you guys some
00:11:40 00:11:43 ways to do some more competitive
00:11:41 00:11:44 research for your drop earring business
00:11:43 00:11:45 so you could set these kind of ads up
00:11:44 00:11:48 for yourself and we'll go through
00:11:45 00:11:49 different businesses and see which ones
00:11:48 00:11:51 are doing cold traffic which ones are
00:11:49 00:11:53 doing warm traffic ads and hot traffic
00:11:51 00:11:55 ads I want to help you see and really
00:11:53 00:11:56 start learning the difference between
00:11:55 00:12:00 all three of those I give you guys some
00:11:56 00:12:01 examples of businesses that are running
00:12:00 00:12:04 advertisements currently and how you can
00:12:01 00:12:07 kind of see if it's like a hot traffic
00:12:04 00:12:08 warm traffic or for a cold traffic now
00:12:07 00:12:11 one thing I need to understand is when
00:12:08 00:12:13 you start putting together your list of
00:12:11 00:12:15 competitors your direct conversion to
00:12:13 00:12:17 our competitors depending on the size of
00:12:15 00:12:19 them you're gonna not be able to see
00:12:17 00:12:21 certain things so for example a movement
00:12:19 00:12:23 right and barkbox right here these are
00:12:21 00:12:25 massive businesses at this point okay so
00:12:23 00:12:27 they can get away with things that you
00:12:25 00:12:28 might not necessarily be able to get
00:12:27 00:12:30 away with so for example with this
00:12:28 00:12:32 advertisement you introducing the
00:12:30 00:12:34 signature square vintage monitor and
00:12:32 00:12:37 SHOP NOW boom right and a picture that's
00:12:34 00:12:38 not a cold traffic camp ad right but
00:12:37 00:12:40 they can get away with this stuff
00:12:38 00:12:42 because this is probably an ad that
00:12:40 00:12:44 they're running to probably their hot
00:12:42 00:12:48 traffic buyers or their warm people who
00:12:44 00:12:49 have maybe a purchase or have expressed
00:12:48 00:12:50 interest in buying from them before
00:12:49 00:12:53 right
00:12:50 00:12:54 but this as a cold campaign to people
00:12:53 00:12:55 that have never bought from them or
00:12:54 00:12:57 never heard of move in before nobody
00:12:55 00:12:58 would do this so you have to understand
00:12:57 00:12:59 and put your your competitors in
00:12:58 00:13:01 different buckets cuz a lot of them are
00:12:59 00:13:02 gonna be in different different
00:13:01 00:13:03 positions and be able to get away with
00:13:02 00:13:05 different things depending on how
00:13:03 00:13:07 seasoned they're pixel is how many
00:13:05 00:13:09 buyers they've got and all those things
00:13:07 00:13:11 come into play as you can see here a lot
00:13:09 00:13:13 of movement stuff is very very very
00:13:11 00:13:13 small because they're getting to that
00:13:13 00:13:15 mass
00:13:13 00:13:16 you know once you start getting to that
00:13:15 00:13:18 mass scale you can get away with a lot
00:13:16 00:13:20 of these things but as a beginner who's
00:13:18 00:13:21 just starting out Facebook guys you
00:13:20 00:13:23 can't get away with a lot of these
00:13:21 00:13:25 things so I'm just wanted to show you
00:13:23 00:13:27 guys that as a as a quick example here
00:13:25 00:13:30 of you know some of them like our
00:13:27 00:13:31 favorites isn't her Styles this might be
00:13:30 00:13:33 probably a like an abandoned cart one
00:13:31 00:13:36 but you can see here all of their ads
00:13:33 00:13:38 are very very simple and they'll really
00:13:36 00:13:39 go for that mass scale here probably the
00:13:38 00:13:40 same for bark boxes look what they're
00:13:39 00:13:42 having if you don't know where I'm at
00:13:40 00:13:43 right now you can just go to any
00:13:42 00:13:46 business page and go to info and ads
00:13:43 00:13:47 they're not gonna show you all of their
00:13:46 00:13:50 ads but they're just going to show you a
00:13:47 00:13:51 decent amount so you can see 100%
00:13:50 00:13:53 happenes guaranteed if something isn't
00:13:51 00:13:56 right just for your dog will make it
00:13:53 00:13:58 right okay common sense right that's
00:13:56 00:14:00 obviously somebody went to check out but
00:13:58 00:14:01 they didn't buy right they're saying hey
00:14:00 00:14:02 hundred percent happenes guaranteed if
00:14:01 00:14:04 you're not happy with your purchase
00:14:02 00:14:06 we're gonna make things right
00:14:04 00:14:08 simple right the cop this is why I'm
00:14:06 00:14:10 telling you the copy is as important as
00:14:08 00:14:11 the imagery under the video use that's
00:14:10 00:14:13 gonna spark that emotion and get that
00:14:11 00:14:15 customer actually pull out that credit
00:14:13 00:14:17 card and buy from you okay so this is a
00:14:15 00:14:19 great example of a retargeting campaign
00:14:17 00:14:23 that they're using for bid for people
00:14:19 00:14:25 that did not buy what sin bark box lure
00:14:23 00:14:26 more to explore right again right this
00:14:25 00:14:28 is this is probably for people that have
00:14:26 00:14:29 maybe visited their website but they
00:14:28 00:14:31 didn't buy from them they just need more
00:14:29 00:14:32 information right a lot of people
00:14:31 00:14:34 they're not gonna buy from you the first
00:14:32 00:14:35 time they come in contact with your
00:14:34 00:14:36 business guys because they don't know
00:14:35 00:14:39 you right and a lot of these people they
00:14:36 00:14:40 want to buy from you but they just need
00:14:39 00:14:41 more information they need to get to
00:14:40 00:14:43 know you right got to work the
00:14:41 00:14:44 relationship guys okay it's not like
00:14:43 00:14:46 always there's gonna be a lot of people
00:14:44 00:14:48 that are just like boom they buy from
00:14:46 00:14:49 you date the moment they hang contact
00:14:48 00:14:51 with you I love those buyers I love
00:14:49 00:14:53 those buyers in heat but unfortunately
00:14:51 00:14:55 most of the world isn't buyers in heat
