00:03:58 00:04:01 so the first thing we do is we start off
00:03:59 00:04:02 with our business suite
00:04:01 00:04:05 the business suite is where you manage
00:04:02 00:04:05 your business accounts think of it as
00:04:05 00:04:07 the
00:04:05 00:04:09 umbrella of everything and everything
00:04:07 00:04:10 else that i'm about to mention falls
00:04:09 00:04:12 right under that
00:04:10 00:04:13 next we have our ads manager this right
00:04:12 00:04:15 here is the
00:04:13 00:04:17 host of all of your accounts so this is
00:04:15 00:04:19 where you create different ad accounts
00:04:17 00:04:20 for whatever store you're running for
00:04:19 00:04:22 whatever product you're running or for
00:04:20 00:04:24 whatever client you're helping out
00:04:22 00:04:26 next we have the ad account and this is
00:04:24 00:04:27 where you actually manage your
00:04:26 00:04:28 advertisements
00:04:27 00:04:30 and right here make sure that you are
00:04:28 00:04:32 not using your personal ad account
00:04:30 00:04:34 because one you want to make sure that
00:04:32 00:04:34 you are separating yourself from your
00:04:34 00:04:36 business
00:04:34 00:04:38 and two if it gets disabled you will
00:04:36 00:04:39 never be able to transfer over that data
00:04:38 00:04:41 at all the next
00:04:39 00:04:43 is the ad campaign this is where you
00:04:41 00:04:45 decide what type of ads you're trying to
00:04:43 00:04:46 run and what type of campaign you're
00:04:45 00:04:47 trying to use
00:04:46 00:04:50 and right here what i like to always use
00:04:47 00:04:53 and what i recommend is conversion ads
00:04:50 00:04:54 the next is the ad sets where and when
00:04:53 00:04:56 of your facebook advertising so this is
00:04:54 00:04:57 how you're able to target
00:04:56 00:05:00 all the different users and be in
00:04:57 00:05:02 control of your own marketing
00:05:00 00:05:04 and lastly and most importantly the ads
00:05:02 00:05:06 this is where your actual creatives
00:05:04 00:05:08 either videos or pictures
00:05:06 00:05:09 this is where you put them at so for
00:05:08 00:05:10 example this is kind of what the
00:05:09 00:05:12 structure
00:05:10 00:05:14 looks like you see an ad campaign you
00:05:12 00:05:16 have three different ad sets in there
00:05:14 00:05:18 and these ad sets are typically just
00:05:16 00:05:20 different interests that you're testing
00:05:18 00:05:22 and then right under your ad set follows
00:05:20 00:05:23 the advertisement
00:05:22 00:05:25 so again this is all the different
00:05:23 00:05:28 creatives that you use
00:05:25 00:05:29 you can use pictures you can use videos
00:05:28 00:05:31 but i typically
00:05:29 00:05:33 always like to use videos and then i
00:05:31 00:05:34 like to re-target my individuals with
00:05:33 00:05:35 pictures down the road
00:05:34 00:05:37 so let's just act like we're selling a
00:05:35 00:05:38 dog bed if i was to be able to sell a
00:05:37 00:05:39 dog bed
00:05:38 00:05:41 right now this is how the campaign would
00:05:39 00:05:43 be structured so the ad campaign is
00:05:41 00:05:45 going to be called just dog bed
00:05:43 00:05:46 and then again we're always testing out
00:05:45 00:05:48 different interests
00:05:46 00:05:49 and the interest is what falls inside of
00:05:48 00:05:51 the ad sets
00:05:49 00:05:52 so for example in ad asset 1 i would
00:05:51 00:05:55 have dog park
00:05:52 00:05:57 ad set 2 i would have dogs in asset 3 i
00:05:55 00:05:59 would try petco
00:05:57 00:06:00 why because all these interests go
00:05:59 00:06:01 exactly with the product that i'm
00:06:00 00:06:03 testing
00:06:01 00:06:04 and right under my assets again follows
00:06:03 00:06:05 my advertisements
00:06:04 00:06:07 and this is where i would keep my
00:06:05 00:06:09 winning creative and i always use the
00:06:07 00:06:12 same picture or same video across
00:06:09 00:06:12 all of my ad sets so i'm not skewing my
00:06:12 00:06:14 data
00:06:12 00:06:16 so right here for example you can see
00:06:14 00:06:18 i'm using one winning creative
00:06:16 00:06:20 across all of my ad sets you never know
00:06:18 00:06:22 what's going to work for you
00:06:20 00:06:23 until you test it out and the easiest
00:06:22 00:06:24 way to be successful with facebook
00:06:23 00:06:26 advertising
00:06:24 00:06:27 is taking the what ifs and literally
00:06:26 00:06:31 just throwing them out the window
00:06:27 00:06:32 your opinion my opinion your friends and
00:06:31 00:06:34 family's opinions
00:06:32 00:06:36 they don't matter the only thing that
00:06:34 00:06:38 matters is data
00:06:36 00:06:40 and we have to be able to test out to be
00:06:38 00:06:41 able to gather data to see what is
00:06:40 00:06:43 working for us
00:06:41 00:06:44 and that is exactly why we test out
00:06:43 00:06:46 different interests
00:06:44 00:06:47 so that we can continue to find winning
00:06:46 00:06:49 audiences and push
00:06:47 00:06:51 towards the people who actually enjoy
00:06:49 00:06:52 our products but you can't actually sell
00:06:51 00:06:54 anything
00:06:52 00:06:55 until you set up your business manager
00:06:54 00:06:56 so let's go ahead and jump right into

00:06:56 00:06:59 so the first thing you're going to do is
00:06:57 00:07:00 come right over here to
00:06:59 00:07:01 business.facebook.com
00:07:00 00:07:03 and as you guys can see this is where
00:07:01 00:07:04 you're able to create your business
00:07:03 00:07:06 manager
00:07:04 00:07:08 which manages your ad accounts your
00:07:06 00:07:11 pages and the people who work for them
00:07:08 00:07:12 all in one place for free so you simply
00:07:11 00:07:14 just come over here
00:07:12 00:07:15 click create account name off your
00:07:14 00:07:18 business
00:07:15 00:07:20 and just put your business email in here
00:07:18 00:07:21 and then you just click submit
00:07:20 00:07:22 but because i already created a business
00:07:21 00:07:23 manager we're going to go ahead and skip
00:07:22 00:07:25 that part
00:07:23 00:07:27 and after you click submit it's going to
00:07:25 00:07:29 bring you to a page just like this
00:07:27 00:07:30 and this is considered your facebook
00:07:29 00:07:32 business suite
00:07:30 00:07:34 so remember this is the top of the
00:07:32 00:07:36 entire funnel the
00:07:34 00:07:37 umbrella so after you create your
00:07:36 00:07:39 facebook business suite you now have to
00:07:37 00:07:41 be able to set yourself up to actually
00:07:39 00:07:42 run your first advertisement so come
00:07:41 00:07:46 over here to settings
00:07:42 00:07:47 more business settings and the first
00:07:46 00:07:49 button that you see
00:07:47 00:07:51 is people and users so this is where
00:07:49 00:07:52 you're able to add different admins on
00:07:51 00:07:54 your account
00:07:52 00:07:56 or be able to add a business that you're
00:07:54 00:07:57 running advertisements for
00:07:56 00:07:59 but you're able to gather all the people
00:07:57 00:08:01 and users who are using this ad account
00:07:59 00:08:03 and putting them all in one place
00:08:01 00:08:04 so if you're doing a business alone
00:08:03 00:08:06 you're probably thinking well you don't
00:08:04 00:08:07 need anybody else here besides yourself
00:08:06 00:08:09 but i'm letting you know right now that
00:08:07 00:08:10 is one of the biggest mistakes that i
00:08:09 00:08:11 ever made
00:08:10 00:08:13 so a huge piece of advice that i have
00:08:11 00:08:15 for you is make sure that you always
00:08:13 00:08:17 have backups on your account can just be
00:08:15 00:08:19 another facebook profile you have or
00:08:17 00:08:20 maybe some friends or some family
00:08:19 00:08:22 but always make sure that you have
00:08:20 00:08:23 backups in case that you cannot be able
00:08:22 00:08:25 to access your profile
00:08:23 00:08:26 so to be able to add users you simply
00:08:25 00:08:28 just come over here to add
00:08:26 00:08:30 then you enter the email address of
00:08:28 00:08:30 whatever user you're wanting to be able
00:08:30 00:08:33 to add
00:08:30 00:08:34 so for example we would add that and
00:08:33 00:08:37 then we would give
00:08:34 00:08:38 admin access and then simply just click
00:08:37 00:08:39 next
00:08:38 00:08:41 so after clicking next you just click
00:08:39 00:08:43 the invite button and then simply you
00:08:41 00:08:43 have another user on your account for
00:08:43 00:08:45 backups
00:08:43 00:08:47 next as we scroll down we come over here
00:08:45 00:08:49 to pages so you have your business where
00:08:47 00:08:50 you want to be able to advertise on so
00:08:49 00:08:51 this is where you add your facebook
00:08:50 00:08:52 business page
00:08:51 00:08:54 but if you're also running ads for a
00:08:52 00:08:55 business this is exactly where you can
00:08:54 00:08:57 just take their information
00:08:55 00:08:58 and add it right to your ad account so
00:08:57 00:09:00 to simply add a page just come over here
00:08:58 00:09:02 click add a page
00:09:00 00:09:04 and then you enter the facebook page or
00:09:02 00:09:04 the url of whatever page you're trying
00:09:04 00:09:06 to advertise
00:09:04 00:09:08 on so now that we created our business
00:09:06 00:09:09 page the next thing we're going to do is
00:09:08 00:09:10 create our ad account
00:09:09 00:09:12 so now you just click on add accounts
00:09:10 00:09:14 over here click add and then create a
00:09:12 00:09:16 new ad account
00:09:14 00:09:18 so you can name this whatever you want
00:09:16 00:09:19 make sure the time zone is in the same
00:09:18 00:09:21 time zone you are
00:09:19 00:09:22 make sure it's us dollars add it to your
00:09:21 00:09:24 ad account
00:09:22 00:09:26 so then right after that the same admins
00:09:24 00:09:28 that you added at the beginning of this
00:09:26 00:09:30 you just assign the roles straight on
00:09:28 00:09:31 here so you just click on the names and
00:09:30 00:09:33 you just click assign
00:09:31 00:09:35 and then it should say something like
00:09:33 00:09:36 this account successfully created
00:09:35 00:09:38 that's when you know we're moving on to
00:09:36 00:09:39 the right direction so now that you
00:09:38 00:09:41 created this ad account the next thing
00:09:39 00:09:41 you need to do is just add your payment
00:09:41 00:09:44 information
00:09:41 00:09:46 click add payment info you can be able
00:09:44 00:09:48 to use business manager payment
00:09:46 00:09:50 you can use your debit or credit card
00:09:48 00:09:52 you can use paypal you can use
00:09:50 00:09:53 online banking so now that i entered my
00:09:52 00:09:55 payment information the next thing i'm
00:09:53 00:09:56 going to do is just enter my business
00:09:55 00:09:58 information
00:09:56 00:10:00 so for example this business supreme
00:09:58 00:10:02 ecom the business address
00:10:00 00:10:04 and then after entering your business
00:10:02 00:10:06 address you simply just click save
00:10:04 00:10:08 and now you are an owner of a brand new

00:13:21 00:13:23 similar to what i showed you guys
00:13:22 00:13:25 earlier
00:13:23 00:13:27 so setting a campaign with different ad
00:13:25 00:13:29 sets with one winning creative
00:13:27 00:13:30 and for this example i'm going to use a
00:13:29 00:13:32 neck car
00:13:30 00:13:33 pillow so the campaign name is literally
