The TRUTH about reselling from Marshalls for Amazon FBA in 2022
Hey guys, welcome back to the channel! Before we jump into the video, I just want to give you a heads up that I realized about 10 minutes into shooting that my SD card wasn't in my mic, so I had to improvise and edit a bit. But the basic premise of this video is to go into Marshalls and scan every single product to show you the reality of retail arbitrage.
- Many people on TikTok have been posting inflated numbers about making profits from Marshalls and TJ Maxx.
- I decided to show you guys what the reality of reselling is by scanning every product in Marshalls.
- Marshalls can be a great side hustle, but the numbers on TikTok are exaggerated.
Scanning Products:
- Went through most of the shoes, but many were not worth reselling.
- Found some products that were restricted or not worth the investment.
- Went through all the hair dryers and irons, but nothing worthwhile.
- Ended up finding about $120 worth of products that could be resold, but there may be returns.
Toys and Other Products:
- Scanned every toy in Marshalls, but none were profitable.
- Went through a section of clothing, but got tired and didn't find anything worthwhile.
- Scanned random products like beard trimmers, hair clippers, and basketballs, but nothing profitable.
- Marshalls can be a great side hustle, but it's not a long-term play.
- Learn how to resell by going to garage sales and reframing your thinking.

Is Amazon FBA Still Worth Starting In 2022? TRUTH Revealed
Is it Too Late to Start Selling on Amazon FBA?
Amazon FBA is a popular way to sell products online and make passive income. However, some people believe that it's too late to start selling on Amazon FBA. In this article, we'll discuss why this might be true and what you can do about it.
Reasons Why It Might Be Too Late:
1. Oversaturation of the Market: With over 9.5 million sellers on Amazon and 2,000 new sellers joining every day, the market is becoming oversaturated. It's getting harder to stand out from the competition.
2. Chinese Manufacturers: Many Chinese manufacturers are selling their products directly on Amazon, cutting out the middleman and selling at a lower price. This makes it harder for American sellers to compete.
3. Amazon FBA Fees: Amazon charges a 15% fee just to sell on their platform, and if you choose to be part of the Amazon FBA program, you'll have additional fees to pay.
What You Can Do About It:
1. Avoid Boring Private Label or Wholesale Techniques: Retail arbitrage, wholesale, and private label techniques are becoming less effective. Instead, focus on creating a passion product, a unique product that's better than the competition, and creating a strong brand around it.
2. Create a Strong Brand: If you can create a strong brand around your product, it'll be harder for competitors to copy you. Focus on creating a product that doesn't yet exist but that you wish did.
3. Differentiate Yourself from the Competition: Focus on creating a product that's different from what's already on the market. This will make it harder for competitors to copy you and will help you stand out.
4. Keep Up with Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and adapt your product and marketing strategies accordingly. This will help you stay ahead of the competition.
It's not too late to start selling on Amazon FBA, but you need to adapt your strategies to stand out from the competition. Focus on creating a passion product, creating a strong brand, differentiating yourself from the competition, and keeping up with trends. With the right approach, you can still make a profitable business on Amazon FBA.
The Difference Between Amazon FBA Vs Dropshipping and Which is Better For 2020?
Hey, it's your boy and Gavin back with another video! In this video, we're going to talk about the difference between Amazon FBA and dropshipping. There are a lot of people interested in Amazon FBA but are unsure about the costs and what it takes to have a successful store. We will compare both business models side by side to give you a more accurate assessment of both.
Amazon FBA:
- You need inventory and have to send it to Amazon FBA warehouses.
- Realistically, it takes about $10,000 to set up an Amazon FBA store properly.
- There's no need for storage as Amazon stores the goods for you.
- Amazon brings the customers to you and will promote your listing organically.
- Advertising on Amazon is optional.
- You can brand your products, and it's essential to build brand recognition.
- Amazon FBA businesses are valuable and can be sold.
- Amazon handles all customer service.
Dropshipping:
- There's no inventory; the supplier sends goods directly to the customer.
- The start-up costs for dropshipping are minimal, and you only need a website and traffic.
- No storage requirements as goods are in the supplier's warehouse.
- You have to find your own customers, which can be challenging.
- There are different strategies for finding customers.
Both business models have their pros and cons, and it ultimately comes down to personal preference. Amazon FBA requires more capital and has a higher learning curve, but it's a hands-off business once set up correctly. Dropshipping is appealing because of its low start-up costs, but finding customers can be challenging. Consider your goals and resources when deciding which business model to pursue.
