In today's article, I will be sharing with you my PPC dead ball templates that you can use to explore your Google ads data. Google Data studio, which is owned by Google, provides seamless integration with Google Ads. You should only choose the account from the drop-down menu, but you should be logged in to your account to access your data. The report doesn't share any Google Ads data with me; you are reviewing only your own account data.
Firstly, I want to show you how filtering works. You can click to select all your campaigns or type to search for a specific campaign and then filter only this one. You can also filter the device type to see its performance and filter countries in the right-hand corner. If you click on it, you can adjust the date that you want to show your data.
The next section is the Campaign Explorer. As the table is pretty flexible, you can drill up to the account level and drill down to the ad group, keyword, and match type level. Additionally, you can adjust metrics if you are running, for example, YouTube ads.
Search Query Explorer:
The third section is about the Search Query Explorer, which shows what keywords people are typing to jump onto your website. Optional metrics are also available here. Moreover, you can filter your search terms by typing your keywords right here. Top competitors provide insights about who your competitors are in PPC, their impression share overlap rate, and you can investigate average position and outranking share.
