Hey guys, it's drop day and I'm super excited to announce the launch of my vintage website! I just hit 10k followers on Instagram and to celebrate, I'm dropping my website in a few days. In this video, I'm going to show you how I prepared for the launch and give you a sneak peek of what's on the site.
- I took pictures of about 30 more items to add to the site and used a background removal app to edit them.
- I uploaded all the items and tested the site with my roommate to make sure everything worked.
- The site has 93 items and is super colorful and easy to use with PayPal, credit cards, and Apple Pay accepted.
- Shipping is free in the US and I'm offering international shipping for an extra cost.
- I'm hoping to sell at least half of the items by the end of the day and have already received four orders within the first minute of the site going live.

Setting up my Shopify Store:
- Behind me are all the clothes I've taken pictures of for my store called The Rift.
- I'll be rearranging my store and posting the clothes for sale today.
- The website will be in the description, but it's not open yet as I'm still working on it.
- I'll be putting the clothes in vacuum-sealed bags to save space in my RV.
- I got a space saver bag with a vacuum pump to remove the air, making the clothes as small as possible.
Preparing the Clothes for Sale:
- These are the clothes that will be in my shop.
- I'll use the space saver bags to make them smaller.
- It's getting harder to do this, but I'll keep going.
- Using the pump to remove the air is working well.
Setting up my Website:
- I realized I wasn't filming most of my setup, so I'll show you how my website looks now.
- I'm still figuring out the colors and collections, but I posted three so far.
- I need to watch videos to understand Shopify better.
- I'll change the black jacket to stand out more.
- I'm a perfectionist, so I might retake pictures and redo everything.
- Starting a new business is challenging, but I'm not stressed.
Packaging the Sold Clothes:
- I sold a leather jacket and will package it today.
- I'll use a compostable mailer and bounce touch-up spray to remove wrinkles.
- I'll fold and package it, then print the label.
