00:00:00 00:00:03 what's up everyone i'm here with alexa
00:00:02 00:00:05 originally from serbia right now he's
00:00:03 00:00:08 studying in the united states and he's a
00:00:05 00:00:10 student of the drop servicing blueprint
00:00:08 00:00:11 um so alex maybe just introduce yourself
00:00:10 00:00:13 and then tell us a little bit more about
00:00:11 00:00:16 why you jumped into the course
00:00:13 00:00:19 yeah well my name is alex jovanovic i'm
00:00:16 00:00:21 from belgrade serbia i go to a school
00:00:19 00:00:22 here in the united states newman
00:00:21 00:00:24 university i'm a basketball player i
00:00:22 00:00:26 join this course because i like to make
00:00:24 00:00:28 money i like to have money i like to go
00:00:26 00:00:30 out with friends i like to buy nice
00:00:28 00:00:32 things but i also like that feeling of
00:00:30 00:00:34 satisfaction when i know i got it on my
00:00:32 00:00:36 own even though my dad is a businessman
00:00:34 00:00:38 home in serbia he doesn't really give me
00:00:36 00:00:40 anything so
00:00:38 00:00:42 for me it's all about earning it myself
00:00:40 00:00:44 so that's kind of why i started looking
00:00:42 00:00:47 online on youtube how to make money
00:00:44 00:00:49 online and i came up on the ad for a
00:00:47 00:00:52 webinar i joined the webinar and
00:00:49 00:00:55 everything i heard it resonated with me
00:00:52 00:00:57 so i bought the course right away
00:00:55 00:00:59 yeah and i guess one interesting thing
00:00:57 00:01:01 would be what what made you gravitate
00:00:59 00:01:03 towards drop servicing versus other
00:01:01 00:01:05 business models that you learned about
00:01:03 00:01:08 during your time
00:01:05 00:01:10 i'm not gonna lie i tried other things i
00:01:08 00:01:12 like fitness i like basketball so i kind
00:01:10 00:01:14 of tried one with my own fitness company
00:01:12 00:01:16 like selling gigs on fiverr i had my own
00:01:14 00:01:19 instagram page where i was posting some
00:01:16 00:01:21 workouts but it didn't really work out
00:01:19 00:01:23 also i was watching drop shipping but
00:01:21 00:01:25 for me i was always thinking why would
00:01:23 00:01:26 everyone is doing dropshipping i've
00:01:25 00:01:28 never heard of nobody do drop servicing
00:01:26 00:01:29 so i heard everybody's doing drop
00:01:28 00:01:30 shipping and then i heard some i was
00:01:29 00:01:32 like i want to go with something new
00:01:30 00:01:34 because i don't think because i already
00:01:32 00:01:36 had some ideas like they had drop
00:01:34 00:01:38 shipping then i had my own fitness thing
00:01:36 00:01:39 but it wasn't really working so
00:01:38 00:01:41 i was like i'm just gonna search until i
00:01:39 00:01:43 find something that's new and i haven't
00:01:41 00:01:45 heard about it so i heard of drop
00:01:43 00:01:47 servicing it made sense to me in my mind
00:01:45 00:01:48 and from there it was
00:01:47 00:01:50 good
00:01:48 00:01:52 easy decision man yeah easy decision
00:01:50 00:01:54 yeah okay and i guess um
00:01:52 00:01:57 how long have you been in the course now
00:01:54 00:01:59 in community uh this is my third month
00:01:57 00:02:01 right now i'm two weeks into my third
00:01:59 00:02:03 month it took me so i was following
00:02:01 00:02:04 everything in the course so i had my own
00:02:03 00:02:06 like in the spreadsheet i put first
00:02:04 00:02:07 month i want to have everything set up
00:02:06 00:02:09 second month i want to get my first sale
00:02:07 00:02:11 and actually got my first sale the last
00:02:09 00:02:11 day
00:02:11 00:02:15 so i was happy about that so now i'm
00:02:13 00:02:17 following some other goals like for goal
00:02:15 00:02:20 for this month is to get to 3 000 this
00:02:17 00:02:23 month next month is 5 10 and then so on
00:02:20 00:02:25 so yeah awesome it's always good to
00:02:23 00:02:27 hit those like projections that you want
00:02:25 00:02:29 to want to grab and i think um one thing
00:02:27 00:02:31 that's key as well as that planning not
00:02:29 00:02:33 many people go about that process of
00:02:31 00:02:35 planning out their goals so that's one
00:02:33 00:02:38 really important thing that we do cover
00:02:35 00:02:40 there yeah i do have a plan for the year
00:02:38 00:02:42 i have a monthly plan and i also have
00:02:40 00:02:44 daily planning so every night before i
00:02:42 00:02:46 go to bed i go to daily planning what
00:02:44 00:02:47 what do i have to do next for the next
00:02:46 00:02:49 day i write it down and i like i kind of
00:02:47 00:02:50 like to cross things out on the list
00:02:49 00:02:52 during the day so it makes me feel good
00:02:50 00:02:53 so
00:02:52 00:02:54 i do it i think i think it's really
00:02:53 00:02:56 helpful
00:02:54 00:02:58 yeah to-do lists always key some people
00:02:56 00:03:00 like to cross things off some people
00:02:58 00:03:01 like to tik things yeah
00:03:00 00:03:04 as long as as long as you got a to-do
00:03:01 00:03:05 list that's all that really matters
00:03:04 00:03:07 once you've gotten the course i guess
00:03:05 00:03:08 kind of give us an overview of of what
00:03:07 00:03:09 you thought you know what what were the
00:03:08 00:03:12 bad things what were the good things
00:03:09 00:03:13 about the course when you jumped in
00:03:12 00:03:15 well when i started with the course i
00:03:13 00:03:16 was i was really excited like i'm not
00:03:15 00:03:18 the type of person that needs to be
00:03:16 00:03:20 motivated or that needs to like change
00:03:18 00:03:22 his habits i have pretty good habits and
00:03:20 00:03:25 i was already motivated because i have
00:03:22 00:03:27 my own reasons to make money so i was
00:03:25 00:03:28 watching the videos about motivation and
00:03:27 00:03:30 everything because you said don't skip
00:03:28 00:03:32 any steps i still watch so
00:03:30 00:03:33 when i started with the course what was
00:03:32 00:03:35 hard for me is that i don't really know
00:03:33 00:03:37 a lot about computers like i know like
00:03:35 00:03:38 we are supposed to be the generation of
00:03:37 00:03:41 tiknology
00:03:38 00:03:43 but for me like all i did my whole life
00:03:41 00:03:44 is just play basketball and
00:03:43 00:03:47 that's it like oh i thought i was gonna
00:03:44 00:03:49 go to the nba you know that that was my
00:03:47 00:03:50 goal so i didn't really know nothing
00:03:49 00:03:53 about computers coding everything all of
00:03:50 00:03:54 that was so new to me so creating my own
00:03:53 00:03:56 website was really a struggle that's
00:03:54 00:03:58 where i uh wasted most of my time and
00:03:56 00:04:00 also i didn't have a job over the summer
00:03:58 00:04:01 which which is when i bought the course
00:04:00 00:04:03 i usually just get a job when i come
00:04:01 00:04:06 here so i didn't have any income so i
00:04:03 00:04:08 was spending a lot of money on duck soup
00:04:06 00:04:09 and stuff like that like sales navigator
00:04:08 00:04:12 it's not crazy expensive but it's a
00:04:09 00:04:13 bunch of little expenses that i paid but
00:04:12 00:04:16 it paid off so
00:04:13 00:04:17 yeah yeah that's up yeah that can always
00:04:16 00:04:18 be the the biggest learning curve when
00:04:17 00:04:20 you're starting to figure out how to
00:04:18 00:04:22 build your website but the only option
00:04:20 00:04:23 you have really is to pay someone to do
00:04:22 00:04:24 it or figure out how to build it
00:04:23 00:04:26 yourself
00:04:24 00:04:28 um and yeah there's so many little
00:04:26 00:04:30 things that come with i would say this
00:04:28 00:04:32 thing it takes the longest but once you
00:04:30 00:04:34 actually got your your website built you
00:04:32 00:04:35 said it took you the first month to
00:04:34 00:04:37 build everything in the second month you
00:04:35 00:04:39 just started marketing yeah first first
00:04:37 00:04:40 month actually no first month it took me
00:04:39 00:04:42 to build everything then second month i
00:04:40 00:04:44 started reaching out first on linkedin
00:04:42 00:04:45 linkedin and then using duck soup and
00:04:44 00:04:47 then
00:04:45 00:04:49 i did cold email outreach
00:04:47 00:04:51 i actually toked to steven harvey from
00:04:49 00:04:53 the group all right so he was helping me
00:04:51 00:04:55 a lot with like how to write cold emails
00:04:53 00:04:58 and stuff like that how to make it the
00:04:55 00:05:00 best that you can so after six weeks i
00:04:58 00:05:02 also started with the cold emails and
00:05:00 00:05:05 then using duck soup i actually that's
00:05:02 00:05:07 how i got my first sale with uh
00:05:05 00:05:09 a client he's like uh he's in the music
00:05:07 00:05:11 industry he wants to promote a concert
00:05:09 00:05:13 or whatever so that's how i got my first
00:05:11 00:05:15 sale and from the cold email outreach it
00:05:13 00:05:17 worked really well but i didn't manage
00:05:15 00:05:18 to get a sale because my freelancer
00:05:17 00:05:21 actually didn't do a good job of sending
00:05:18 00:05:23 me good emails a lot of the emails were
00:05:21 00:05:25 info info and i saw that and i was like
00:05:23 00:05:26 oh my goodness
00:05:25 00:05:28 i don't want it
00:05:26 00:05:30 so uh yeah i have another i got another
00:05:28 00:05:31 freelancer so i got another i got more
00:05:30 00:05:33 emails now so i'm going to actually
00:05:31 00:05:34 start my second cold email outreach i
00:05:33 00:05:36 mean i'm just preparing emails right now
00:05:34 00:05:37 and then i'm doing everything manually
00:05:36 00:05:40 because i want to make the message as
00:05:37 00:05:42 personalized as possible so i'm probably
00:05:40 00:05:44 gonna i create 15 drafts a day and then
00:05:42 00:05:46 next week once i get to like 100 i'm
00:05:44 00:05:48 going to send them all and then
00:05:46 00:05:49 do it again so awesome yeah i think
00:05:48 00:05:51 that's really key as well a lot of
00:05:49 00:05:53 people when they're building their
00:05:51 00:05:56 business whether it's drop servicing or
00:05:53 00:05:58 something else they don't really put
00:05:56 00:06:00 much effort into it they try and do
00:05:58 00:06:02 things the easy and fast way and that
00:06:00 00:06:03 usually leads to the least results
00:06:02 00:06:04 yeah that never works especially like
00:06:03 00:06:06 with duck soup it's good you're going to
00:06:04 00:06:08 get a lot of connections but nobody's
00:06:06 00:06:10 going to get you your sale from that
00:06:08 00:06:12 message once they accept your connection
00:06:10 00:06:14 or whatever that's when you want to send
00:06:12 00:06:15 a more personal message or something
00:06:14 00:06:18 like that actually at least for that's
00:06:15 00:06:19 what i did yeah yeah for sure it's
00:06:18 00:06:21 always it's always better to put more
00:06:19 00:06:23 for them because the thing is that you
00:06:21 00:06:25 know everyone is competing at the lazy
00:06:23 00:06:27 level because nobody wants to put in any
00:06:25 00:06:28 effort but once you start putting in a
00:06:27 00:06:30 bit more effort there's a lot less
00:06:28 00:06:33 competition so it's easy to get results
00:06:30 00:06:35 that way as well but um that's awesome
00:06:33 00:06:38 so it took you basically four weeks to
00:06:35 00:06:39 get your first sale right and what what
00:06:38 00:06:42 are you selling advertising you
00:06:39 00:06:45 mentioned yeah paid advertising and also
00:06:42 00:06:47 i like i expanded more to my freelancer
00:06:45 00:06:49 does email marketing too so i'm gonna i
00:06:47 00:06:51 added that i have friends to do website
00:06:49 00:06:52 and logo design so i added that and
00:06:51 00:06:54 social media management is just
00:06:52 00:06:57 something i feel like i can always find
00:06:54 00:07:00 on upwork if somebody is needed but it's
00:06:57 00:07:01 mostly i'm mostly focused on the paid
00:07:00 00:07:03 advertising part because i feel like
00:07:01 00:07:05 that's the most profitable
00:07:03 00:07:07 yeah in terms of recurring income and
00:07:05 00:07:09 i guess what was the what was the
00:07:07 00:07:11 scariest thing for you when you started
00:07:09 00:07:12 your your first outreach campaign was
00:07:11 00:07:14 the most difficult part the most
00:07:12 00:07:16 difficult part was that i wasted my
00:07:14 00:07:18 money and then i'm not capable of this
00:07:16 00:07:19 but
00:07:18 00:07:20 in the in the back of my mind i was
00:07:19 00:07:22 always like i just got to push through
00:07:20 00:07:24 because it was it was unrealistik to me
00:07:22 00:07:25 like how am i going to get my first sale
00:07:24 00:07:27 like when i get on a call like is my
00:07:25 00:07:29 voice going to start shaking am i going
00:07:27 00:07:30 to get scared you know but it never like
00:07:29 00:07:32 when you do your research you get
00:07:30 00:07:35 prepared there's no reason to be to have
00:07:32 00:07:36 any fear whatsoever and also helped me a
00:07:35 00:07:38 lot because i've been in the us it's my
00:07:36 00:07:40 fifth year in the u.s i can i can make
00:07:38 00:07:41 myself sound that i don't have an accent
00:07:40 00:07:43 so people are not really going to notike
00:07:41 00:07:45 that i'm internet some sometimes people
00:07:43 00:07:46 here in the us they're like when they
00:07:45 00:07:48 hear another accent they automatikally
00:07:46 00:07:51 think it's a scam so
00:07:48 00:07:53 yeah yeah that can happen and i i guess
00:07:51 00:07:56 that's interesting as well like in terms
00:07:53 00:07:58 of getting used to things um
00:07:56 00:07:59 the confidence is never there at the
00:07:58 00:08:01 beginning it just comes as you take
00:07:59 00:08:03 action so the more action you take the
00:08:01 00:08:06 more confidence you get and and that's
00:08:03 00:08:07 how you get results so even if you fail
00:08:06 00:08:08 the first few times as long as you keep
00:08:07 00:08:10 pushing yourself you're going to get
00:08:08 00:08:12 more comfortable with it more confident
00:08:10 00:08:14 and you're going to get better results
00:08:12 00:08:16 that way but like you said as well
00:08:14 00:08:18 preparation is always key in doing your
00:08:16 00:08:19 research understanding your service and
00:08:18 00:08:21 your niche in terms of getting your
00:08:19 00:08:23 freelancers did you did you kind of
00:08:21 00:08:27 gather any case studies or examples for
00:08:23 00:08:30 them uh i will just post sometimes
00:08:27 00:08:31 uh i got my first sale is actually i
00:08:30 00:08:33 didn't even get it from the client i
00:08:31 00:08:34 called he told me he's gonna pay me the
00:08:33 00:08:36 following week but then he asked me
00:08:34 00:08:38 about his friend that needed the emails
00:08:36 00:08:41 like call the email like lead generation
00:08:38 00:08:42 type stuff so i just kind of said yeah
00:08:41 00:08:44 we can do that and i just want to knock
00:08:42 00:08:46 work said lead generation and i found
00:08:44 00:08:49 the freelancer that does it i just look
00:08:46 00:08:51 at the best reviews and the best
00:08:49 00:08:53 job success and i go through portfolio i
00:08:51 00:08:56 read the if it's good if he has good
00:08:53 00:08:57 reviews and if he does then i hire him
00:08:56 00:08:59 um
00:08:57 00:09:00 i don't think there's any reason like
00:08:59 00:09:01 i'm not really scared that
00:09:00 00:09:03 especially when it's lead generation
00:09:01 00:09:05 like you can't really do you can do a
00:09:03 00:09:06 bad job but if he has that many good
00:09:05 00:09:08 reviews he's probably gonna do a good
00:09:06 00:09:10 job so
00:09:08 00:09:12 yeah and as far as paid ads and stuff
00:09:10 00:09:14 like that i've been working with my
00:09:12 00:09:15 freelancer he does charge more than
00:09:14 00:09:17 others but
00:09:15 00:09:19 he's very professional and i could just
00:09:17 00:09:21 see that i always get on a phone call on
00:09:19 00:09:22 a zoom call with them before i even hire
00:09:21 00:09:23 them i i could just see he's
00:09:22 00:09:25 professional he was showing me
00:09:23 00:09:27 strategies and everything and also we're
00:09:25 00:09:30 working with our client right now
00:09:27 00:09:32 it's been strong really good results so
00:09:30 00:09:34 awesome and i think you mentioned that
00:09:32 00:09:36 client already made a second payment
00:09:34 00:09:38 you're at yes we already got second
00:09:36 00:09:40 payment and i'm getting on two phone
00:09:38 00:09:42 calls this week i'm hoping one of them
00:09:40 00:09:44 is from the instagram outreach i rece i
00:09:42 00:09:46 just started doing and then one of them
00:09:44 00:09:49 is actually my aunt my aunt's opening a
00:09:46 00:09:51 restaurant in serbia so if i don't get
00:09:49 00:09:53 that sale then i don't know
00:09:51 00:09:55 yeah yeah exactly exactly okay
00:09:53 00:09:57 and in terms of uh this client is there
00:09:55 00:10:00 like your current client is there any
00:09:57 00:10:01 potential for uh future work or is this
00:10:00 00:10:02 kind of a one-off project yeah oh yeah
00:10:01 00:10:04 this can be
00:10:02 00:10:06 because he is promoting a concert he
00:10:04 00:10:08 wants to make a global concert it's a
00:10:06 00:10:11 really big idea and the concert wouldn't
00:10:08 00:10:13 take place until 2023
00:10:11 00:10:16 um like that's two more years of
00:10:13 00:10:16 guaranteed of guaranteed work so
00:10:16 00:10:19 like
00:10:16 00:10:21 yeah so it's pretty easy to build upon
00:10:19 00:10:23 that and i think that kind of the the
00:10:21 00:10:25 thing with a recurring client when
00:10:23 00:10:27 they're paying you month after month is
00:10:25 00:10:29 you feel a lot more comfortable about
00:10:27 00:10:31 getting additional clients because you
00:10:29 00:10:32 know you only need like 10 clients
00:10:31 00:10:33 yeah you don't have that pressure like
00:10:32 00:10:35 you don't you know i already have money
00:10:33 00:10:36 from this guy so i don't have to you
00:10:35 00:10:37 know but
00:10:36 00:10:39 also i wanted to say one more thing
00:10:37 00:10:40 about those phone calls because i know a
00:10:39 00:10:42 lot of people are nervous to get on
00:10:40 00:10:43 phone calls and stuff like that they're
00:10:42 00:10:45 like i feel like they have to understand
00:10:43 00:10:46 that it's not just damn it's also the
00:10:45 00:10:49 depends on the other person like for
00:10:46 00:10:51 example my first phone call was with a a
00:10:49 00:10:54 real estate company from new york and it
00:10:51 00:10:56 was a woman and she was just complicated
00:10:54 00:10:58 i i did all my research but she just
00:10:56 00:11:00 kept asking me questions like so people
00:10:58 00:11:02 got to know that it's it's not always on
00:11:00 00:11:04 them it's also about that per like if
00:11:02 00:11:07 they really want your service or not so
00:11:04 00:11:09 yeah yeah i think the key thing really
00:11:07 00:11:12 is not to worry about what happens in
00:11:09 00:11:14 one single interaction it's about what's
00:11:12 00:11:16 going to happen over the long term so as
00:11:14 00:11:18 you keep exposing yourself to more and
00:11:16 00:11:19 more calls you're going to get better
00:11:18 00:11:21 and better you're going to learn all of
00:11:19 00:11:23 the answers to all of the questions that
00:11:21 00:11:25 come up and you're just going to improve
00:11:23 00:11:26 over time so don't worry about you know
00:11:25 00:11:28 what level you are right now do
00:11:26 00:11:30 everything you can to to get as much
00:11:28 00:11:32 skill as you can right now but just
00:11:30 00:11:34 focus on taking action and implementing
00:11:32 00:11:37 those skills you're going to get used to
00:11:34 00:11:39 it and improve over time
00:11:37 00:11:41 also i would say with every client every
00:11:39 00:11:43 reply that you get don't ever if they
00:11:41 00:11:45 say no thanks even then say
00:11:43 00:11:46 okay no problem or something like that
00:11:45 00:11:48 because you never know when they're
00:11:46 00:11:50 gonna need your service uh the way i
00:11:48 00:11:52 actually got my first client like uh
00:11:50 00:11:55 i did a dog soup outreach he said yeah
00:11:52 00:11:57 not right now maybe later so i reached
00:11:55 00:11:59 out again in like a week he said
00:11:57 00:12:01 oh think about it blah blah i reached
00:11:59 00:12:03 out again then he said oh i'm doing a
00:12:01 00:12:05 music festival so
00:12:03 00:12:07 like i i just kept pursuing i was just
00:12:05 00:12:09 persistent with all the i don't know if
00:12:07 00:12:10 he called that a lead but like
00:12:09 00:12:12 all the people that were interested i
00:12:10 00:12:14 always kept reaching out to them and
00:12:12 00:12:16 sending them messages but not not to the
00:12:14 00:12:18 point where i'm boring them or i'm being
00:12:16 00:12:19 bothering them i just kind of do it just
00:12:18 00:12:21 the right amount so
00:12:19 00:12:22 they they're thinking about me and they
00:12:21 00:12:24 know
00:12:22 00:12:26 yeah not being afraid to follow up it's
00:12:24 00:12:27 always key and then as well like when
00:12:26 00:12:28 you're when you're getting a
00:12:27 00:12:30 non-interested someone that says that
00:12:28 00:12:32 they don't need it right now you can
00:12:30 00:12:33 always reply saying totally fine i'll
00:12:32 00:12:35 remove it from the list or totally fine
00:12:33 00:12:37 i won't contact you again but if you if
00:12:35 00:12:39 you know anybody
00:12:37 00:12:42 that this might be useful for feel free
00:12:39 00:12:43 to send this message to them or you know
00:12:42 00:12:45 that's how you get a lot of referrals
00:12:43 00:12:47 that way so yeah yeah i'm actually going
00:12:45 00:12:49 to ask
00:12:47 00:12:51 the guy i'm working with right now to
00:12:49 00:12:53 maybe give me if if he can find me
00:12:51 00:12:55 another client that he that he need
00:12:53 00:12:58 thinks needs my service i will actually
00:12:55 00:12:59 give him 20 of that sale or something
00:12:58 00:13:01 like that i'm still thinking about it
00:12:59 00:13:02 but i think that's a good way to get
00:13:01 00:13:05 more referrals
00:13:02 00:13:07 yeah like clients yeah yeah definitely
00:13:05 00:13:10 definitely and as well if you can find
00:13:07 00:13:12 anybody who for example consultants or
00:13:10 00:13:13 other agency owners and then become
00:13:12 00:13:14 partners with them to deliver your
00:13:13 00:13:16 services if they're not currently
00:13:14 00:13:19 delivering the same services as you you
00:13:16 00:13:20 can get a lot of affiliates or partners
00:13:19 00:13:22 whatever you want to call them that way
00:13:20 00:13:24 who refer their clients to you or kind
00:13:22 00:13:26 of white label your services to their
00:13:24 00:13:27 clients so that's always a good way to
00:13:26 00:13:29 go too
00:13:27 00:13:31 um i guess the next thing is you know
00:13:29 00:13:33 what what are you looking to do next
00:13:31 00:13:35 because you're kind of right now going
00:13:33 00:13:37 along at a certain level of volume how
00:13:35 00:13:39 many offers are you making per day right
00:13:37 00:13:41 now would you say or it's kind of like a
00:13:39 00:13:44 weekly blast type thing right um i make
00:13:41 00:13:47 around in between 20 and 30. actually in
00:13:44 00:13:49 between 10 and 30 messages on linkedin
00:13:47 00:13:51 that i do that daily uh monday through
00:13:49 00:13:54 friday i don't do it because i i think
00:13:51 00:13:55 you can only send 100 messages per week
00:13:54 00:13:59 so that you don't get your account
00:13:55 00:14:01 blocked yeah and and i got my 400 emails
00:13:59 00:14:02 right now that i'm using so i'm getting
00:14:01 00:14:05 those ready so i'm i'm going to be
00:14:02 00:14:07 looking to send 100 emails a week that's
00:14:05 00:14:10 my goal i would say probably like around
00:14:07 00:14:12 200 messages a week that i i'm doing
00:14:10 00:14:14 them all manually so
00:14:12 00:14:16 yeah my goal is to get a va and start
00:14:14 00:14:18 getting them to do because i feel like
00:14:16 00:14:20 they can send more messages because out
00:14:18 00:14:21 here i have a lot of i have workouts i
00:14:20 00:14:22 have school it's not like if this was
00:14:21 00:14:25 the only thing i was doing i would have
00:14:22 00:14:28 more time so yeah
00:14:25 00:14:30 about 200 messages a week okay and uh
00:14:28 00:14:32 your your freelancer how much do they
00:14:30 00:14:34 cost to deliver the service for your
00:14:32 00:14:37 client well firstly first of all he was
00:14:34 00:14:39 asking for fifteen hundred dollars for
00:14:37 00:14:43 paid advertising per month
00:14:39 00:14:46 um but after negotiation he is now doing
00:14:43 00:14:46 it for 500 so
00:14:46 00:14:49 yeah
00:14:46 00:14:50 i mean he's a hot dog in that guy yeah i
00:14:49 00:14:52 feel like
00:14:50 00:14:55 he's good he's really good but i just
00:14:52 00:14:57 feel like 1500 is what almost an agency
00:14:55 00:14:59 costs you know yeah
00:14:57 00:15:02 yeah so and i knew he was going to do it
00:14:59 00:15:04 for 500 but i was just negotiating with
00:15:02 00:15:07 him yeah yeah i mean the more more
00:15:04 00:15:08 freelancers you have is options as well
00:15:07 00:15:10 the least worried you'll be about
00:15:08 00:15:13 negotiating for the right price
00:15:10 00:15:15 yeah what i do is for every niche i go
00:15:13 00:15:17 and find a different freelancer that i
00:15:15 00:15:18 know has experience in that in that
00:15:17 00:15:20 niche
00:15:18 00:15:22 and the great thing about doing that is
00:15:20 00:15:24 you can get their results from that
00:15:22 00:15:26 niche as well and then use those results
00:15:24 00:15:30 in your offer yes anyway that's that's
00:15:26 00:15:31 why i do it yeah yeah okay and and i i
00:15:30 00:15:32 think you mentioned was it fifteen
00:15:31 00:15:34 hundred dollars per month you're
00:15:32 00:15:37 charging to the client uh yeah well
00:15:34 00:15:39 actually what i the deal i have with
00:15:37 00:15:42 this client he pays me a thousand
00:15:39 00:15:44 dollars per month for paid advertising
00:15:42 00:15:46 and it's like a lower price usually i
00:15:44 00:15:48 would charge two thousand dollars for
00:15:46 00:15:50 google ads two thousand dollars for
00:15:48 00:15:52 facebook ads and if they want both then
00:15:50 00:15:54 i would charge three thousand dollars
00:15:52 00:15:57 that's how i did my pricing but for this
00:15:54 00:16:00 client i did a lower cost and then if
00:15:57 00:16:01 the music festival is successful i will
00:16:00 00:16:04 get a percent
00:16:01 00:16:06 okay from that so i'm still gonna make
00:16:04 00:16:09 profit anyway but if the music festival
00:16:06 00:16:10 is successful i'm going to make way more
00:16:09 00:16:12 profit than if
00:16:10 00:16:14 yeah
00:16:12 00:16:15 yeah for sure man and the thing is that
00:16:14 00:16:17 once you get that first plan you know
00:16:15 00:16:18 that your offer is working you're going
00:16:17 00:16:20 to get more clients you just need to
00:16:18 00:16:21 keep making more offers
00:16:20 00:16:23 and the cool thing about your service is
00:16:21 00:16:26 because it's recurring it just it really
00:16:23 00:16:28 skyrockets with those recurring services
00:16:26 00:16:30 um and you'll get certain clients who
00:16:28 00:16:31 stay with you for years
00:16:30 00:16:32 so
00:16:31 00:16:34 i hope so i hope that's the case with
00:16:32 00:16:35 this
00:16:34 00:16:36 and the thing is that you know you don't
00:16:35 00:16:38 have a lot of time right now but you
00:16:36 00:16:40 think you mentioned you have a part-time
00:16:38 00:16:42 job now right oh yeah i mean i can't
00:16:40 00:16:44 wait to quit it but i do have a
00:16:42 00:16:44 part-time job
00:16:45 00:16:49 i have two jobs here on campus
00:16:47 00:16:51 oh yeah um it's one is it in the
00:16:49 00:16:54 cafeteria i do like a theater today i do
00:16:51 00:16:55 like how many people came home what food
00:16:54 00:16:57 and what was
00:16:55 00:16:59 you know stuff like that and i have a
00:16:57 00:17:01 game management job so like when there's
00:16:59 00:17:04 another game that i'm not like a soccer
00:17:01 00:17:06 game or volleyball i do like gates or
00:17:04 00:17:07 concessions or something like that oh
00:17:06 00:17:09 yeah the thing is though like even
00:17:07 00:17:12 though we don't love these part-time
00:17:09 00:17:13 jobs they fund what we're doing
00:17:12 00:17:15 they fund your business and you're going
00:17:13 00:17:16 to be able to scale it a lot faster
00:17:15 00:17:18 because of that they relieve pressure of
00:17:16 00:17:19 me too like i know if even if this
00:17:18 00:17:21 doesn't work all right at least i have
00:17:19 00:17:23 these jobs that i know i'm gonna get
00:17:21 00:17:25 make some money with like i'm not gonna
00:17:23 00:17:27 be broke so no exactly man for you right
00:17:25 00:17:28 now it's really just about scaling up
00:17:27 00:17:29 the number of offers you're putting out
00:17:28 00:17:30 there because you know that your offer
00:17:29 00:17:33 is working so
00:17:30 00:17:34 um really just need to
00:17:33 00:17:36 get to the point where for example with
00:17:34 00:17:38 the cold email side of things just
00:17:36 00:17:39 setting up more email accounts
00:17:38 00:17:41 essentially getting those warmed up and
00:17:39 00:17:43 then sending more emails just spending
00:17:41 00:17:45 more money on your cold email system
00:17:43 00:17:47 with linkedin obviously it's tricky with
00:17:45 00:17:49 the limits that they have in place but
00:17:47 00:17:52 you know you can always get additional
00:17:49 00:17:54 linkedin accounts set up or not not for
00:17:52 00:17:55 yourself of course because of the same
00:17:54 00:17:56 person multiple links accounts they can
00:17:55 00:17:58 block you but if you have different
00:17:56 00:17:59 people's linkedin accounts all working
00:17:58 00:18:02 putting out your offer then you can
00:17:59 00:18:04 scale up your linkedin offer that way um
00:18:02 00:18:05 of course you know instagram outreach
00:18:04 00:18:07 same kind of thing just have multiple
00:18:05 00:18:09 profiles same offers and you're going to
00:18:07 00:18:11 be able to afford i think you know a
00:18:09 00:18:13 virtual assistant to send office for you
00:18:11 00:18:15 you just need to create those working
00:18:13 00:18:17 procedures and create those videos
00:18:15 00:18:18 training them how to do it
00:18:17 00:18:20 that's really going to be the next step
00:18:18 00:18:22 i think
00:18:20 00:18:24 i agree i was thinking a long time about
00:18:22 00:18:26 a virtual assistant so i'm just kind of
00:18:24 00:18:27 looking to get more sales even more
00:18:26 00:18:29 sales i still think i can do this
00:18:27 00:18:31 manually and it's kind of weird but i
00:18:29 00:18:33 kind of like going and researching or
00:18:31 00:18:34 researching about those clients because
00:18:33 00:18:37 if it makes me feel like i'm more
00:18:34 00:18:38 prepared if they reply yeah
00:18:37 00:18:40 yeah the other thing as well is you
00:18:38 00:18:42 don't need to automate the entire
00:18:40 00:18:45 process right away you can just automate
00:18:42 00:18:47 pieces of it whether it be descending
00:18:45 00:18:49 yeah even if you had like no woodpecker
00:18:47 00:18:51 to send the emails and you just set up
00:18:49 00:18:53 the system so for example
00:18:51 00:18:55 uh you know with uh with woodpecker we
00:18:53 00:18:57 can we can set it up so that you have
00:18:55 00:19:00 snippets custom snippets where you write
00:18:57 00:19:02 sentences that are custom and they paste
00:19:00 00:19:04 it paste in sentences so you can create
00:19:02 00:19:07 fully custom emails about automate the
00:19:04 00:19:08 sending of it very easily just just as
00:19:07 00:19:10 customized as you would with a manual
00:19:08 00:19:13 email um the only thing i think you
00:19:10 00:19:15 can't do is like have it place in custom
00:19:13 00:19:17 images but you can you can get any type
00:19:15 00:19:21 of text pasted in
00:19:17 00:19:23 for individual emails so i think in
00:19:21 00:19:25 the new cold email modules that are
00:19:23 00:19:27 coming out soon go deeper into that um
00:19:25 00:19:29 but even the current modules get into it
00:19:27 00:19:30 you can probably just go through cold
00:19:29 00:19:33 email modules and the lead generation
00:19:30 00:19:35 modules to learn more about it but for
00:19:33 00:19:37 example it's the same as having like uh
00:19:35 00:19:39 the first name column except you have
00:19:37 00:19:41 snip a snippet and the snippet will take
00:19:39 00:19:43 out the sentence so the customize
00:19:41 00:19:45 sentence for that partikular uh prospect
00:19:43 00:19:47 and then it'll place that in the cold
00:19:45 00:19:49 email and send it automatikally for you
00:19:47 00:19:51 that makes sense yeah
00:19:49 00:19:53 that's that's a good
00:19:51 00:19:55 they'll save a lot of time so yeah yeah
00:19:53 00:19:56 like usually like one hour per 100
00:19:55 00:19:59 emails before it takes the scene
00:19:56 00:20:00 manually wow yeah it's pretty good yeah
00:19:59 00:20:02 man so there's things like that you can
00:20:00 00:20:03 automate little aspects of it and still
00:20:02 00:20:04 do the things that you think are
00:20:03 00:20:08 essential or that you want to do
00:20:04 00:20:09 yourself and what would you say like so
00:20:08 00:20:12 you think i should just scale up my
00:20:09 00:20:13 message like more messages
00:20:12 00:20:15 yeah because it sounds to me like you
00:20:13 00:20:17 are doing everything in the right way in
00:20:15 00:20:20 terms of customizing your approach to
00:20:17 00:20:22 each individual prospect and you you are
00:20:20 00:20:23 going after specific niches so you're
00:20:22 00:20:25 doing everything right in terms of
00:20:23 00:20:27 making the offers and we know that your
00:20:25 00:20:28 offer is converting you already got your
00:20:27 00:20:30 first sale and you get even more calls
00:20:28 00:20:32 and now you just need to make more
00:20:30 00:20:34 offers so we just need to figure out
00:20:32 00:20:36 ways of scaling out the number of number
00:20:34 00:20:37 of offers that you can make
00:20:36 00:20:39 first of all that's going to be
00:20:37 00:20:41 automating more things because of course
00:20:39 00:20:43 you only have so much time in the day to
00:20:41 00:20:45 send more offers so we need to automate
00:20:43 00:20:46 more using people and software so
00:20:45 00:20:48 getting a virtual assistant using things
00:20:46 00:20:50 like woodpecker to send the emails
00:20:48 00:20:51 changing the way you're doing things a
00:20:50 00:20:53 little bit so you can still seem to the
00:20:51 00:20:55 same level of customization in your
00:20:53 00:20:57 office but just automate a lot more of
00:20:55 00:20:59 it and that's just going to come from
00:20:57 00:21:01 you know using more software's like
00:20:59 00:21:02 woodpecker and then hiring virtual
00:21:01 00:21:04 assistants and training them using the
00:21:02 00:21:06 working procedures
00:21:04 00:21:08 okay thank you yeah no worries man is
00:21:06 00:21:10 there anything else that you wanted to
00:21:08 00:21:12 kind of ask or discuss
00:21:10 00:21:15 i just wanted to say thank you for the
00:21:12 00:21:16 course and uh i didn't really think uh
00:21:15 00:21:17 in my back of my head i knew it was
00:21:16 00:21:19 going to
00:21:17 00:21:22 work i mean i'm still not where i want
00:21:19 00:21:24 to be of course um but it's just
00:21:22 00:21:25 something that gave me because i was
00:21:24 00:21:26 always
00:21:25 00:21:28 with basketball putting so much pressure
00:21:26 00:21:30 on myself and i thought it was the only
00:21:28 00:21:31 thing i wanted to do but then with this
00:21:30 00:21:32 course
00:21:31 00:21:33 and also working with my dad like i feel
00:21:32 00:21:35 like there's
00:21:33 00:21:37 finally something else that i like to do
00:21:35 00:21:38 you know i like to i would like to have
00:21:37 00:21:40 my own business i like to make money so
00:21:38 00:21:41 i just want to say thank you like i
00:21:40 00:21:43 don't really think that there's anything
00:21:41 00:21:46 specific i would ask you because like
00:21:43 00:21:48 you're already like yeah and i have a
00:21:46 00:21:49 course and you already told me um just
00:21:48 00:21:50 now so
00:21:49 00:21:52 yeah for sure
00:21:50 00:21:54 yeah no worries i it's what i made the
00:21:52 00:21:56 course for at the end of the day it was
00:21:54 00:21:57 people like me because when i bought my
00:21:56 00:21:59 first course back in there was like five
00:21:57 00:22:01 thousand dollars and there wasn't really
00:21:59 00:22:03 as much detailed information and i had
00:22:01 00:22:05 to work out a lot more of it myself so
00:22:03 00:22:06 um yeah it's always awesome to be making
00:22:05 00:22:08 updates and of course as you go through
00:22:06 00:22:10 man like reach out to me message me ask
00:22:08 00:22:12 me questions that you have as you're
00:22:10 00:22:13 going about the process of scaling up a
00:22:12 00:22:15 number of offers and automating more
00:22:13 00:22:16 things i look forward to seeing your
00:22:15 00:22:18 progress and we'll have to do a
00:22:16 00:22:20 follow-up interview in the in the future
00:22:18 00:22:22 once you hit that next milestone
00:22:20 00:22:23 i would love to yeah man awesome thanks
00:22:22 00:22:25 so much i'm glad to have you as a part
00:22:23 00:22:26 of the community and uh thanks for doing
00:22:25 00:22:29 this interview should inspire a lot of
00:22:26 00:22:32 people yeah thank you dylan uh i'm happy
