How Beginners Can Make $15,000 Dropshipping In 60 DAYS (Step-By-Step Tutorial)

focused around
speed and focused around efficiency

that you can get positive cash flow
coming in inside your business
means the faster you can start making
long-term decisions
and setting up your business to
ultimately operate so much smoother
and make a lot more money in the future
so

breaking down the product testing stage
as well as what you should be doing
exactly with your ads and i actually
show you a screenshot from inside of one
of my ad accounts right now
that is in this same phase so let's wind
this back here this video first of all
came about because i get a lot of people
asking me how they should start
well the easiest way to start is what
we're going to be toking about inside
of this video so again make sure to
stik through it
but when you're starting it is so
important to find that product as
quickly as possible that is going to
start working for you
and do it as efficiently as you can
because
finding a product quick is great but if
you burn through your entire budget
doing that
you're not gonna be in a good position
okay so we're gonna cover all of that
before we do i wanna let you guys know
it is like the last 48 hours as of when
i'm posting this right now
where you can get access to our facebook

so let's jump inside of my computer and
start going through this
okay so the reason i actually chose 15
000
in sales right in revenue in 60 days the
reason i came up with that title and i
believe it's always important to kind of
share this just so you guys can
understand where i'm at during this
video mentally a little bit better
can help you understand it the reason i
chose that is because it's a very
realistik time frame
it might take longer it might take a lot
less time and we're going to go through
that
but this time frame is so realistik for
a few reasons
based on the product testing speed with
the strategy i'm going to show you
based on your ad account spending limits
on facebook this is still very
achievable
and without really running into any
issues because operating at this you
know 500
a day mark in sales roughly you're
really only going to be getting
maybe one possibly two customer support
emails every day
you can manage it yourself there isn't
really any need to bring on anyone else
it's super super simple it hasn't become
a complicated business structure yet
and that's why this is important because
if you can build it the right way in the
beginning
it's going to allow you to have that
free capital to start hiring other
people to start scaling and using things
more towards the long term okay meaning
private suppliers maybe getting
inventory
focusing on content updating your
website stuff like that okay
so let's jump into point number one
inside here which is product testing how
do you find that right product
you should be allocated out of this 60
days this two months right here
you should be giving yourself about two
to three weeks to
just find the right product and i'm
toking necessarily
zero dollars in sales you might not have
a dollar in sales during the two to
three weeks
and don't worry you might be a little
bit like oh no i don't think i can hit
the 15
000 if you know if i'm not bringing in
any sales during this time
look if in the first half of the first
month
you can get most of your testing out of
the way then the second half of that
first month
is you finding the right audiences and
starting to get a few sales rolling in
and then throughout month two you're
making a hundred dollars a day 200 and
300 500 700
it's very easy to hit that fifteen
thousand dollars
as soon as you find that right product
and don't worry we're gonna cover the ad
strategies here in a moment
but this is why it's so important give
yourself the time and just to give you a
little bit of background
when we test products for our clients
from an advertising agency ecom season
when we test those products this because
some of our clients come to us and they
don't even have an e-commerce store they
don't have a product we do the testing
and find the products
what we do is we test like five to eight
products a month which means one to two
products a week so in this two to three
weeks
you should be able to test three to five
products and you should be able to find
something that starts producing sales
the easiest way to know if it's working
is within
the first three to five days if any of
these ad sets are starting to make sales
and even if they're just breaking even
that's a good sign but if you're
launching a bunch of different stuff on
a product and nothing is working and
you've tried a bunch of audiences
just move on to the next one you don't
want to sink a lot of money into
something that is not working okay
now make sure to keep your total budget
in mind
you're going to need about 300 to 500
per product you want to test because if
you really want to get that testing out
of the way fairly quick
it doesn't have to be super expensive
three to five hundred is really not a
lot when it comes to testing products
but you're gonna have five to ten
different ad sets running at like 10
bucks a day in terms of their budget
so you're spending 50 to 100 bucks a day
you're giving yourself you know at least
three four five six days to test
um and you know potentially overlapping
that with starting some tests for
another product
your spending can pretty quickly get to
at least a hundred dollars a day
without anything coming back so if
you're starting with like a 500
budget or 800 budget it can make things
a little bit tight that's why i always
recommend like a thousand and two
thousand dollars just for your ads
so i want to make sure you guys just
understand that again we break that all
down inside of the facebook ad academy
that's why that program is inexpensive
because i want to make sure people have
a majority budget allocated towards
their advertising
because you need that to get results
based off what i show you inside of
there
okay another quick tip for you is start
with the lower price
product because the cheaper the product
is the smaller your daily budget can be
on facebook
so if you're running 10 ad sets at 20
bucks a day right because you're selling
a 100
product well if you were selling a 30
product you could probably lower your
daily budget from 20 to
10. so you can cut it in half while
still testing the same amount of
audiences
so it allows you to just be quicker
sales can come in quicker
you don't necessarily need to do
retargeting to really bring in a sale
because it's not that expensive of a
product so you get what's called an
impulse purchase a lot more frequently
the less expensive your product is okay
and finally i always have a great
example for this but do not be
emotionally attached to your product
this is the mistake i made that caused
me to burn through my five thousand
dollars that i had saved
in an eight month period when i was
trying to start dropshipping it was
pretty much all the same product during
that time
and it was absolutely horrible because i
was like three thousand dollars in
then four thousand dollars in and i was
like oh well i can't stop this product
now because
then i'll like confirm the loss and like
it'll officially be over that's too much
money
so i spent the rest of my money trying
to make it work and surprise surprise
it never worked so don't be as stupid as
i was i still make those mistakes
sometimes but
try your best to remove the emotions an
example i can give you is it's like
stok trading okay you're going based on
the metrics
you're going based off the reason you
bought it in the first place so with
this product
you're testing it based off whatever
factor showed you the product might be
selling or potentially be doing good and
if it's not working
you're out if it's going against what
you want to do you're out okay
so that's product testing now let's tok
about the ads
this is where things get fun this is
where i make my money this is where i
have the fun teaching
because i'm i'm kind of an ad guy you
guys already know that so
ads if you open a brand new facebook ad
account you can go to
facebook.business.com
if you already have a facebook account
you can just build a business manager
off of that takes you 30 seconds
so your daily spending limit and it's
weird because facebook does limit the
amount that you can spend in a day
kind of might be confusing because wait
why would an advertising platform
that only makes money off you paying
them limit how much you can spend
well they want to make sure you have a
good history your customers are getting
the product and you're actually paying
your bill on time
etc so you're going to probably be
starting at 50 bucks a day maybe 250.
even so if you start at 50 once you hit
that for a few days you'll get raised to
250
a day here's the cool thing to achieve
this 15
000 15k if you want to sound like a
millennial
even with that 250 bucks a day you don't
need to go beyond that to hit
15 000 because i'm basically assuming
right now
that the bulk of your sales that's going
to make up that 15 000
is coming in month two and that last
week of month one is where you start to
bring it up you know hundred dollars a
day 200
a day 300 a day and you can make 500
name sales pretty easily
by spending 250. you're probably gonna
have at least 100 bucks a product cost
on that maybe 150
so you're profiting at least 100 to 150
a day that's like 20 to almost 30
in margin that's not bad 100 bucks a day
3 000
a month would truly change the lives of
a lot of people
and the cool thing about ads and you
guys already know this if you watch my
videos
it's so easy to go from spending 250 to
spending 500 and to double your
sales doesn't take effort what takes the
effort is getting it there in the first
place
okay so you won't need to go beyond that
250
in spending to really hit that 15 000
number obviously if it's working you
want to spend more
but regardless if you're hitting exactly
250 because you're trying to spend more
every single day
facebook will naturally raise your
spending limit after like six to ten
days it's usually their window
if it's a brand new ad account okay now
the way you're actually running your ads
is through what's called an ad set
budget so you guys might be familiar
with cbo
um cbos you're not familiar with that
stands for campaign budget optimization
that's where you have a bunch of
different ad sets each with different
audiences if you want to depending on
how you run it
but i do different audiences in there
and you put it in a cbo
which that is a one budget thing where
basically you set let's say a hundred
dollar budget
on all these ten ad sets let's say you
put ten adsense in there
so instead of spending ten dollars a day
like it would have if it was a budget at
the ad set level
it might spend twenty dollars here three
dollars there four dollars
facebook decides exactly how much each
ad set is going to spend
but you have more control and in my
opinion it's a little better for testing
when you're first starting out to
utilize ad sets
so once those ad sets are working and
you find the audience and start
producing
you know one sale a day three sales this
week it starts getting some momentum
you can take all those working assets
and then chuck those inside of a cbo
that's a little bit of a better way to
move okay third here
always look at your ads and this is for
once you've already been running your
ads for a few weeks but always look at
your ads in like the last two to four
day time frame
a lot of people get caught up looking at
just today or looking at lifetime
and that's the problem because
unfortunately let's say your ads been
making you money for three weeks
it can stop making you money it's called
becoming unoptimized your ad
is going from good to probably decent to
break even
to them unprofitable and in that process
a lot of people don't catch their ads
declining and there's things you can do
to save it which we tok about in these
programs
but inside of that time frame you have
to catch it and either save it or kill
it
before it goes unprofitable and if
you're stuck looking at the lifetime
it's averaging your sales so if you had
such good returns for two weeks in the
last five days
has been dog crap it still might look
pretty dang good in the lifetime
but in reality it's been performing
terribly all week so you have to look at
that i would highly recommend it
especially when you're getting started
stay on top of your ads you don't want
something pulling out that profit
because the profit's so important
okay and then just kind of a quick
summary i always love to say
cycling new creatives so that means the
video ad or the picture that you're
showing your customer
if the product is not working that you
were testing try testing another video
or picture before you kill it
okay and then once your ads are working
always start using more videos and
pictures that are new
different super cool and then you tape
you're not stealing it
you want to cycle those in because some
of those can start performing even
better
and then you'll have an even higher
margin on your ads
and it's a great way to be able to
duplicate stuff super easily and start
scaling okay
so enough of all this let me show you a
visual example so you can understand a
little bit more
about what it looks like inside of one
of my ad accounts i took this
screenshot five minutes before i started
this video this is from
you know right now so it's a live
example okay
so this is one campaign that i launched
to test a lot of new audiences
so let's take a look each of these ad
sets like we just toked about are
spending 10 bucks a day it's kind of my
basic point that i like to start with
all of these you know one purchase three
one four two
so what do you see right there you see
three of them at one purchase and then
the other three have more than one
purchase
so what i would immediately do is take
these three and i already did this these
three that have more than one sale
and i would put those three into a cbo
by themselves
and i'd probably put that cbo i would do
one of them at 30 bucks a day which is
just
adding those three ad set budget levels
at 30 a day
and then i would also do another one
where i don't change anything except the
budget
and i would set that budget at 100 100
is usually my minimum testing that i
like to do
because that gives it enough room to
really start optimizing in those first
two days
so even out of these ones only have one
sale a 1.15 row as a 1.16
that means that for every dollar i'm
spending on making back a dollar and 16
cents
realistikally for every dollar i'm
spending i probably have like 20 to 23
cents in product cost
i know on this store it's like 18 to 23
in product cost
so it's it's slightly slightly losing
money very very close to break even
but it's only been running for three
days two and a half days for that matter
so if it already has a sale let it run
for another day or two give it a little
bit of breathing room you don't want to
be super strict like oh my god
it's right below my break even i have to
kill it especially if you're just
starting
you want purchases to come in and so if
you have other stuff that's working and
that's keeping you in the profit
that's great you shouldn't kill the
stuff that's around breakeven because
that's still bringing in data
and that helps your facebook pixel learn
which will help facebook
ultimately optimize for you and make you
more money without having to necessarily
do any work so
if that sounds good then make sure not
to really mess with that but uh i like
to leave those as well so it's been a
good series of tests but that is what it
looks like each of these
is a different audience it could be
interest it could be look-alikes
probably you're starting with interest
because you don't have data so it's a
very easy thing to do
easy to set up and we have like a
45-minute video inside of the ad academy
that breaks down how to just launch an
ad literally it's like every single
possible button
it shows you like the eight different
ways that facebook tries to screw you
over
with their automatik selection where
when you're going through and setting up
an ad it's certain
in certain ways it automatikally selects
options that you don't want
it sets locations you don't want it
toks about the languages that you don't
want and it tries to move you into
placements that you don't want so you do
have to be careful
with how facebook tries to manipulate
you because it does get nasty and it can
lead to you being very unprofitable
okay so the thing i want to really
reiterate in this
this number 15 000 in that first 60 days
that would mean you've started a
business that's now producing a hundred
thousand two hundred thousand dollars a
year in sales before
any amount of growth happens which won't
be difficult for you
but it's so life-changing because even
if you have a small margin
of 10 to 15 percent that'd be like an
extra 2 000 3
000 a month for people and i know
especially during all the pandemic times
i have friends and family that are
struggling as well
but understanding that you can actually
do something on your own
without having to rely on your job or
without having to rely on someone else
to pay you an income so you can take
that into your own hands
and it's it's not requiring you to be
smart it's not requiring you to have a
college degree i mean
just to bring it up i mean i myself
dropped out of high school you don't
have to be that smart for you just got
to work your ass off
so you know truly it just takes work and
the right information so
that's why i love coming to you guys

questions and breaking it all down
