00:01:34 00:01:38 sell stuff on Amazon FBA right and if
00:01:36 00:01:39 you guys don't know about Amazon right a
00:01:38 00:01:41 lot of Amazon sellers the only thing
00:01:39 00:01:43 they compete on is priced right and you
00:01:41 00:01:45 might be that way too with your Shopify
00:01:43 00:01:46 store you might be thinking well I'm
00:01:45 00:01:47 gonna be charging too much you can get
00:01:46 00:01:49 this on Amazon for 10 bucks I'm really
00:01:47 00:01:51 sharing with you exactly and throughout
00:01:49 00:01:53 the entire this video how price doesn't
00:01:51 00:01:54 actually matter and how you can actually
00:01:53 00:01:56 charge whatever you want for your
00:01:54 00:01:57 product so because you're gonna create
00:01:56 00:02:00 something that the marketplace has never
00:01:57 00:02:01 seen before very very very easily so
00:02:00 00:02:04 when I was selling on my Amazon FBA
00:02:01 00:02:05 stores all we would ever do our
00:02:04 00:02:07 competitors is like compete on price
00:02:05 00:02:09 right and I remembered I was remember I
00:02:07 00:02:11 was at my full-time job actually and I
00:02:09 00:02:13 saw that you know one of the products we
00:02:11 00:02:15 were selling it was an outdoor product
00:02:13 00:02:17 our competitor lowered the price by like
00:02:15 00:02:18 50 cents and I was like crap right you
00:02:17 00:02:20 just lowered the price by 50 cents okay
00:02:18 00:02:21 well let me a little low in my price by
00:02:20 00:02:22 75 cents and then they would have been
00:02:21 00:02:23 lower by a dollar
00:02:22 00:02:26 I'd be a dollar 25 and then we keep
00:02:23 00:02:28 racing to the bottom right and the thing
00:02:26 00:02:29 is like you get so blinded sometimes for
00:02:28 00:02:31 sales that you forget that hey you know
00:02:29 00:02:32 what like you have a business to run
00:02:31 00:02:33 right if you actually want to plan to
00:02:32 00:02:36 pay yourself from your business you
00:02:33 00:02:38 can't just compete on price now when I
00:02:36 00:02:38 was starting my fishing business I came
00:02:38 00:02:40 from that meant
00:02:38 00:02:42 I was like well you know what like you
00:02:40 00:02:44 know I have this fishing lure well why
00:02:42 00:02:46 why would they buy it for me why are
00:02:44 00:02:48 they gonna buy this fishing lure for me
00:02:46 00:02:49 when they could just go to Amazon they
00:02:48 00:02:51 can just go to my competitor they can go
00:02:49 00:02:53 to Walmart they can go to you know Bass
00:02:51 00:02:54 Pro Shops and buy the same product
00:02:53 00:02:56 alright and this is where I started
00:02:54 00:02:58 learning about how to actually create
00:02:56 00:03:00 good compelling irresistible offers
00:02:58 00:03:01 there's an amazing book I forget I think
00:03:00 00:03:03 was Mark joint I wrote this book it's
00:03:01 00:03:05 called the irresistible offer I highly
00:03:03 00:03:07 recommend you go definitely pick that up
00:03:05 00:03:09 as cuz it's gonna show you specifically
00:03:07 00:03:11 more in detail like how you can take
00:03:09 00:03:13 these products write these everyday
00:03:11 00:03:15 products that are gonna continue to
00:03:13 00:03:17 launch and launch and launch till the
00:03:15 00:03:18 end of time and how companies are able
00:03:17 00:03:20 to make them winners right think about
00:03:18 00:03:23 it guys how are some companies getting
00:03:20 00:03:24 away with charging a dollar for a water
00:03:23 00:03:26 bottle but then there's companies
00:03:24 00:03:28 charging thousands of dollars for a
00:03:26 00:03:30 single water bottle okay
00:03:28 00:03:32 now the strategy is creating
00:03:30 00:03:34 irresistible offers it's a lot easier
00:03:32 00:03:35 and it doesn't require you to have like
00:03:34 00:03:37 impeccable branding like these water
00:03:35 00:03:39 companies do where they hand deliver it
00:03:37 00:03:42 to you or the white glove service by no
00:03:39 00:03:44 means right we use very very simple ways
00:03:42 00:03:46 to increase the value of the product now
00:03:44 00:03:48 there are two ways right there are two
00:03:46 00:03:50 ways to get your customer to have a good
00:03:48 00:03:51 deal and this all relates to each other
00:03:50 00:03:54 right everybody loves a good deal
00:03:51 00:03:55 everybody okay this has been since the
00:03:54 00:03:58 beginning of time and if you still don't
00:03:55 00:04:00 think that's a going out to Black Friday
00:03:58 00:04:02 go to Best Buy on Black Friday you'll
00:04:00 00:04:05 see people get trampled to save 50 bucks
00:04:02 00:04:08 on a TV okay now when you're creating
00:04:05 00:04:09 your offer right what are the key things
00:04:08 00:04:11 that are going to separate you write
00:04:09 00:04:13 that in for an offer to work it's what's
00:04:11 00:04:16 gonna separate you from your competition
00:04:13 00:04:18 and create something that is valuable to
00:04:16 00:04:20 your customer right so the two ways that
00:04:18 00:04:23 you can actually give somebody a good
00:04:20 00:04:25 deal is number one you can give them a
00:04:23 00:04:26 lower price write your competitor sells
00:04:25 00:04:28 it for $26.99
00:04:26 00:04:29 alright you're gonna sell for $25.99 and
00:04:28 00:04:31 then they'll come back and sell for
00:04:29 00:04:33 $24.99 you do it for 23 and it's just
00:04:31 00:04:34 like boom boom racing to the bottom but
00:04:33 00:04:36 that is a way you can compete you can do
00:04:34 00:04:39 that right and people do do that most
00:04:36 00:04:41 business owners most business advice a
00:04:39 00:04:42 lot of gurus I see even spewing this on
00:04:41 00:04:45 YouTube is like oh I'll just lower your
00:04:42 00:04:46 price right no don't lower your price
00:04:45 00:04:48 right the second way that you can
00:04:46 00:04:49 actually give more value to your
00:04:48 00:04:51 customers and make them feel like
00:04:49 00:04:53 they're getting this amazing deal right
00:04:51 00:04:55 is to actually increase the value that
00:04:53 00:04:58 you're giving them right now what is
00:04:55 00:04:59 value right value like a lot of people
00:04:58 00:05:00 say oh give more value give them
00:04:59 00:05:01 overhead but what exactly is it well
00:05:00 00:05:03 this is where it comes back to
00:05:01 00:05:05 understanding who the target demographic
00:05:03 00:05:08 is right because what might be valuable
00:05:05 00:05:09 for for one niche might not be valuable
00:05:08 00:05:11 to another like for example if you put
00:05:09 00:05:13 together a little you know chichi guide
00:05:11 00:05:16 off you know how did the how to create
00:05:13 00:05:17 the the best-tasting cupcakes in the
00:05:16 00:05:19 world all right look to me I don't care
00:05:17 00:05:20 about that that's not valuable to me
00:05:19 00:05:22 I'll eat them but I'm not gonna like go
00:05:20 00:05:24 out and bake my own cupcakes by no means
00:05:22 00:05:26 right so you have to think about who the
00:05:24 00:05:27 target customer is this is goes back to
00:05:26 00:05:29 also why hate in general stores right
00:05:27 00:05:32 general stores you can't create offers
00:05:29 00:05:33 general stores you compete on price it's
00:05:32 00:05:35 100 percent you're competing against
00:05:33 00:05:38 Amazon and Amazon it competes on price
00:05:35 00:05:40 right so instead what you have to do is
00:05:38 00:05:43 you would create this irresistible offer
00:05:40 00:05:44 that has a value of it and to be able to
00:05:43 00:05:46 even understand what value is you have
00:05:44 00:05:48 to understand what the result is of your
00:05:46 00:05:50 target market okay so let's use a real
00:05:48 00:05:52 live example here right so we're
00:05:50 00:05:54 launching a company called untapped
00:05:52 00:05:55 focus here it's a supplement it's a
00:05:54 00:05:57 nootropic supplement now even though
00:05:55 00:06:00 this product is pretty unique to the
00:05:57 00:06:02 marketplace no one cares no one cares
00:06:00 00:06:03 about my own natural games no one cares
00:06:02 00:06:04 about any of those things right they
00:06:03 00:06:06 just want the result of this right
00:06:04 00:06:09 what's the result of this ok the result
00:06:06 00:06:11 is more clear focus more mental clarity
00:06:09 00:06:12 ok boring though that's boring because
00:06:11 00:06:14 every there's other nootropic so you can
00:06:12 00:06:16 get memory increase memory increase
00:06:14 00:06:17 focus how do I get them to buy from me
00:06:16 00:06:19 alright and this is where the offer
00:06:17 00:06:21 comes in right we have cool things in
00:06:19 00:06:23 the works when we launch untapped to do

00:06:23 00:06:26 give people mindset planners right
00:06:25 00:06:28 people that want focus and clarity

00:07:33 00:07:36 different kinds of planners you maybe
00:07:34 00:07:37 you're getting an accountability group
00:07:36 00:07:39 as well to keep you on track and
00:07:37 00:07:42 motivated for your goals right that's an
00:07:39 00:07:43 offer right now price really goes out
00:07:42 00:07:45 the window of what we can charge for
00:07:43 00:07:48 untap because our competitors they're
00:07:45 00:07:49 not doing this right as Jesus has
00:07:48 00:07:51 another example with boring mundane
00:07:49 00:07:53 products I mean if fishing lures are
00:07:51 00:07:54 boring right there's millions of them
00:07:53 00:07:56 out there there's millions of fishing
00:07:54 00:07:58 lures that you can go out there and use
00:07:56 00:08:00 and a lot of them they all do the same
00:07:58 00:08:02 exact thing right they catch fish right
00:08:00 00:08:03 so how do you create an offer for a
00:08:02 00:08:05 boring mundane product like a fishing
00:08:03 00:08:08 lure well you go and think about who is
00:08:05 00:08:10 this fishing lure for right is it for
00:08:08 00:08:12 ice fishermen is it for guys that do
00:08:10 00:08:14 deep-sea fishing is a guy's for a dude
00:08:12 00:08:16 who do fly-fishing is it guys who do
00:08:14 00:08:18 trout fishing bass fishing whatever
00:08:16 00:08:20 right who's the niche I always go after
00:08:18 00:08:21 a niche because that's how you're gonna
00:08:20 00:08:24 be able to really crap this offer that
00:08:21 00:08:26 speaks directly to them right you've
00:08:24 00:08:28 seen this in real life where you're like
00:08:26 00:08:29 you know what I'm gonna buy this product
00:08:28 00:08:31 because it's saying hey you know what
00:08:29 00:08:32 this is this is made for four mothers
00:08:31 00:08:34 that are more environmentally conscious
00:08:32 00:08:36 or something right instead of you know
00:08:34 00:08:38 this other product right that doesn't
00:08:36 00:08:40 have that messaging right that is why
00:08:38 00:08:42 those companies right and really observe
00:08:40 00:08:43 this are able to charge more for their
00:08:42 00:08:45 products right because they're
00:08:43 00:08:46 specifically targeting a group of people
00:08:45 00:08:48 right they're not having that broad
00:08:46 00:08:50 appeal because they don't want everybody
00:08:48 00:08:52 right they only want very very specific
00:08:50 00:08:55 people to buy their product and
00:08:52 00:08:57 therefore they can charge more for their
00:08:55 00:08:59 products right so with your product or
00:08:57 00:09:00 with your product or even like a boring
00:08:59 00:09:02 product a fishing lure you have to
00:09:00 00:09:04 understand who's the target demographic
00:09:02 00:09:06 right so let's say it's it's it's a bass
00:09:04 00:09:08 fisherman or fly fisherman whatever
00:09:06 00:09:10 right they're gonna get that product in
00:09:08 00:09:11 the mail right let's say you just sell
00:09:10 00:09:12 them a product or if they're gonna
00:09:11 00:09:14 demand they got it all right what other
00:09:12 00:09:16 problems do they now have because every
00:09:14 00:09:18 time you sell somebody something you're
00:09:16 00:09:19 gonna introduce more
00:09:18 00:09:20 problems right even though you just
00:09:19 00:09:22 solve the problem by giving them a
00:09:20 00:09:24 product right they're gonna be like well
00:09:22 00:09:25 now they're gonna have all these other
00:09:24 00:09:26 things going on in their head be like
00:09:25 00:09:27 well how do I use this
00:09:26 00:09:29 alright what kind of fish does this
00:09:27 00:09:31 catch right like how do I tie this right
00:09:29 00:09:33 what what temperature water do I need to
00:09:31 00:09:35 use this on what well weather outside
00:09:33 00:09:36 doesn't have to be for me to use this
00:09:35 00:09:37 fish you know they're gonna come all
00:09:36 00:09:39 these objections and your niche has the
00:09:37 00:09:41 same exact thing let's say you sell
00:09:39 00:09:42 baking stuff right like and you sell
00:09:41 00:09:43 them like a baking tray they're gonna
00:09:42 00:09:46 have all these other concerns of like
00:09:43 00:09:48 well how do I actually use this thing
00:09:46 00:09:51 right how what are the good recipes to
00:09:48 00:09:53 to use to bake this stuff right and
00:09:51 00:09:55 that's where you come in as the business
00:09:53 00:09:56 owner and create value right so they get
00:09:55 00:09:59 this they get this fish and oh but what
00:09:56 00:10:00 else can I give them with that - to make
00:09:59 00:10:02 sure they're successful with that right
00:10:00 00:10:03 because that's our goal is for the
00:10:02 00:10:04 people to be successful with our product
00:10:03 00:10:05 is that they're gonna tell their friends
00:10:04 00:10:08 are gonna tell their family they're
00:10:05 00:10:10 gonna buy from us more often right you
00:10:08 00:10:12 always want to make sure that you're
00:10:10 00:10:13 always focusing on getting over the
00:10:12 00:10:15 result from your from your from your
00:10:13 00:10:16 product when your customer gets it so
00:10:15 00:10:18 with a fishing lure right maybe you can
00:10:16 00:10:21 offer you know a cheat sheet guide right
00:10:18 00:10:23 telling them hey the top 5 the top 5
00:10:21 00:10:24 knots to use on this on this 5 fish
00:10:23 00:10:25 fries maybe you'll give them a little
00:10:24 00:10:26 video guide or even get like your
00:10:25 00:10:28 influence or if you don't want to do it
00:10:26 00:10:30 yourself or if I hire somebody on up
00:10:28 00:10:32 work or free up to shoot you a you know
00:10:30 00:10:34 five-minute guide of how to actually use
00:10:32 00:10:35 this product depending on you know what
00:10:34 00:10:37 kind of temperature is outside or what
00:10:35 00:10:39 kind of you know water temperature it is
00:10:37 00:10:41 right and even there you can throw in
00:10:39 00:10:43 like a like a private community group
00:10:41 00:10:45 where people can tok about it right and
00:10:43 00:10:47 there is so much value in that stuff
00:10:45 00:10:49 guys the thing is like when you
00:10:47 00:10:51 congregate a very niche group of people
00:10:49 00:10:52 right conversations start happening
00:10:51 00:10:54 right and they'll keep buying from you
00:10:52 00:10:56 because people buy from you the first
00:10:54 00:10:57 time you get that solution but they'll
00:10:56 00:10:59 stay with you and continue to buy from
00:10:57 00:11:01 you if there's like that community feel
00:10:59 00:11:03 with this right because people love to
00:11:01 00:11:05 tok about the things that they're
00:11:03 00:11:06 interested in a lot of times and you
00:11:05 00:11:08 know for you maybe you're into like a
00:11:06 00:11:09 hobby that you maybe you don't have
00:11:08 00:11:10 anybody to tok about but guess what
00:11:09 00:11:11 maybe a company comes along and they're
00:11:10 00:11:13 like hell we have a private community
00:11:11 00:11:16 Ryan come and join us and tok about
00:11:13 00:11:18 this stuff the people will stay with you
00:11:16 00:11:20 for that community right people want to
00:11:18 00:11:22 be part and communicate with other
00:11:20 00:11:25 people that are like them right that's
00:11:22 00:11:27 that's that society right and this is so
00:11:25 00:11:30 so powerful to have your customers as
00:11:27 00:11:31 well in this sort of group and there's
00:11:30 00:11:34 so many different things that you can
00:11:31 00:11:35 add into your products right guys well
00:11:34 00:11:37 you just have to think it through a
00:11:35 00:11:39 little bit right
00:11:37 00:11:40 you just had you don't have to be you
00:11:39 00:11:42 don't need the videos you don't need to
00:11:40 00:11:43 put in massive efforts to this there's
00:11:42 00:11:45 places that you can get this stuff for
00:11:43 00:11:46 free online where you can go to pry PLR
00:11:45 00:11:49 websites all right these are called
00:11:46 00:11:51 private label rights right so you can
00:11:49 00:11:53 essentially go out there and license the
00:11:51 00:11:55 rights still like a video course ebooks
00:11:53 00:11:57 and you can resell them and brand them
00:11:55 00:11:58 as your own right so you can get a quick
00:11:57 00:12:00 turnaround like that or you can go to up
00:11:58 00:12:02 work and go to free up right and they
00:12:00 00:12:04 can go create those things for you or
00:12:02 00:12:06 preferably you go and create your own
00:12:04 00:12:07 right and I encourage you guys to be
00:12:06 00:12:09 into the niches that you want to create
00:12:07 00:12:10 your own content because it's gonna be
00:12:09 00:12:11 fun for you right the niche you're in
00:12:10 00:12:13 isn't fun for you you're probably not
00:12:11 00:12:15 gonna last in business for more than six
00:12:13 00:12:17 months to two a year so I always
00:12:15 00:12:19 encourage you guys like have fun with
00:12:17 00:12:21 this stuff create stuff for your
00:12:19 00:12:23 customers to help them get to the result
00:12:21 00:12:25 that they're trying to get into okay now
00:12:23 00:12:26 when you create this bundle maybe you've
00:12:25 00:12:27 given them some ebooks maybe you're
00:12:26 00:12:28 giving them a little video guide maybe
00:12:27 00:12:30 we're giving them a community maybe
00:12:28 00:12:32 you're giving them even like a low
00:12:30 00:12:33 tiket product that you can toss in
00:12:32 00:12:35 there for one example with our fishing
00:12:33 00:12:37 stuff we always tossed in like a little
00:12:35 00:12:39 stiker that was like a cheat sheet that
00:12:37 00:12:41 told them hey when to use what kind of
00:12:39 00:12:43 fishing lure right like with on tap
00:12:41 00:12:44 we're gonna we plan to not on the
00:12:43 00:12:46 initial Elantra but we plan to put in
00:12:44 00:12:47 like these little magnets that people
00:12:46 00:12:48 can stik on their fridge that gives
00:12:47 00:12:50 them like a little guide on how to use
00:12:48 00:12:52 it right that's valuable and it gives
00:12:50 00:12:54 you top of mind right always think about
00:12:52 00:12:55 how can you work how can your products
00:12:54 00:12:56 say top of mind for your custom because
00:12:55 00:12:58 if you're not top of mind they're not
00:12:56 00:12:59 gonna remember you right that's why we
00:12:58 00:13:01 create assets for ourselves so they're
00:12:59 00:13:03 seeing us in multiple places and you
