| 00:03:44 | 00:03:48 | school i had all types of various jobs i |
| 00:03:46 | 00:03:49 | worked at journeys i worked at dick's |

| 00:03:49 | 00:03:54 | i was a dishwasher i was doing roofing i |
| 00:03:52 | 00:03:55 | was doing literally anything i could put |
| 00:03:54 | 00:03:57 | money in my pocket |
| 00:03:55 | 00:04:00 | and then fast forward to my senior year |

| 00:04:26 | 00:04:29 | worst thing that can ever happen to you |

| 00:05:00 | 00:05:05 | and was looking for a new restart i was |

| 00:05:05 | 00:05:10 | family not just immediate but my entire |
| 00:05:07 | 00:05:11 | family who actually went to college and |
| 00:05:10 | 00:05:14 | not just go to college but to |
| 00:05:11 | 00:05:14 | leave kansas city like kansas city is a |

| 00:05:14 | 00:05:18 | and a lot of my family still lives there |
| 00:05:16 | 00:05:20 | and i was the first person |
| 00:05:18 | 00:05:22 | to just move and i didn't even move from |
| 00:05:20 | 00:05:25 | the state i just moved different cities |
| 00:05:22 | 00:05:27 | i ended up graduating in may of 2018 |
| 00:05:25 | 00:05:29 | with a degree in marketing and a minor |
| 00:05:27 | 00:05:30 | in computer science engineering this was |
| 00:05:29 | 00:05:33 | a huge huge accomplishment for me |

| 00:05:47 | 00:05:50 | in the united states and not just |
| 00:05:49 | 00:05:52 | anywhere in the united states but |
| 00:05:50 | 00:05:53 | anywhere that was not missouri because i |
| 00:05:52 | 00:05:55 | knew if i was going to go back to |
| 00:05:53 | 00:05:56 | missouri i was going to go back into my |
| 00:05:55 | 00:05:57 | old ways |
| 00:05:56 | 00:05:59 | i was either going to be dead i was |
| 00:05:57 | 00:06:00 | going to work the same job |
| 00:05:59 | 00:06:02 | or i wasn't going to be anywhere that |
| 00:06:00 | 00:06:04 | i'm at today and ultimately the |
| 00:06:02 | 00:06:06 | definition of insanity is doing the same |

| 00:06:17 | 00:06:19 | the first time i ever even got on a |

| 00:06:19 | 00:06:23 | i was going to get on an interview in |
| 00:06:21 | 00:06:25 | maryland and i ended up getting three |
| 00:06:23 | 00:06:28 | job offers the first job offer that i |
| 00:06:25 | 00:06:29 | got was an inside sales job in maryland |
| 00:06:28 | 00:06:31 | and then i received two |
| 00:06:29 | 00:06:33 | outside sales jobs in oakland and in |
| 00:06:31 | 00:06:35 | dallas so what did i do |
| 00:06:33 | 00:06:36 | one month passed i graduated in may of |
| 00:06:35 | 00:06:39 | 2018 |
| 00:06:36 | 00:06:41 | and in june of 2018 i packed my bags up |
| 00:06:39 | 00:06:42 | and i moved straight to dallas and mind |
| 00:06:41 | 00:06:44 | you when i moved to dallas it wasn't |
| 00:06:42 | 00:06:45 | that i didn't know anybody |
| 00:06:44 | 00:06:48 | in the city of dallas but i didn't know |
| 00:06:45 | 00:06:50 | anybody in the whole state of texas |
| 00:06:48 | 00:06:51 | this was a complete restart and i |

| 00:06:51 | 00:06:55 | moving to dallas this was not going to |
| 00:06:53 | 00:06:56 | be all butterflies and easy cake |

| 00:06:56 | 00:06:59 | difficult and ultimately i was going to |

| 00:07:12 | 00:07:15 | just local businesses what i was taught |

| 00:07:15 | 00:07:20 | but grocery stores and not was i just |
| 00:07:18 | 00:07:22 | selling these items but i was |
| 00:07:20 | 00:07:24 | building displays it was all manual |
| 00:07:22 | 00:07:25 | labor i ended up getting |
| 00:07:24 | 00:07:27 | play i'mma keep it a hundred southern |

| 00:07:38 | 00:07:41 | weeks so i was making 11.50 every two |

| 00:07:41 | 00:07:45 | 70 hours a week and not getting any time |
| 00:07:44 | 00:07:46 | off they told me i couldn't take off |

| 00:07:46 | 00:07:50 | thanksgiving my birthday any days it was |
| 00:07:49 | 00:07:53 | not happening after working there for |
| 00:07:50 | 00:07:55 | about six months on november 24 2018 i |

| 00:07:58 | 00:08:01 | friday of that following week i applied |
