00:01:17 00:01:20 up to six figure levels
00:01:19 00:01:22 and the first thing i actually want to
00:01:20 00:01:24 start toking about is data now
00:01:22 00:01:26 exactly what does this mean what does
00:01:24 00:01:27 anything have to do with data
00:01:26 00:01:29 towards the beginning of my shopify
00:01:27 00:01:32 journey i really didn't even know how
00:01:29 00:01:33 important data was for my shopify drop
00:01:32 00:01:36 shipping store
00:01:33 00:01:36 but unknowingly i was still investing a
00:01:36 00:01:39 lot of money
00:01:36 00:01:40 into gathering data and as of right now
00:01:39 00:01:42 i do understand
00:01:40 00:01:43 what data is and how important it is for
00:01:42 00:01:45 shopify but
00:01:43 00:01:46 during my early days i definitely did
00:01:45 00:01:48 not know what that meant
00:01:46 00:01:50 and right now if i had to start from
00:01:48 00:01:53 scratch i would definitely focus
00:01:50 00:01:55 more on the data aspect of advertising
00:01:53 00:01:57 and of my shopify dropshipping source so
00:01:55 00:01:58 exactly what does this mean if i were to
00:01:57 00:02:00 start from
00:01:58 00:02:02 scratch i would want to gather as much
00:02:00 00:02:04 data as possible
00:02:02 00:02:06 for my pixels and this is going to lead
00:02:04 00:02:08 on to me creating
00:02:06 00:02:09 look-alike audiences email lists and so
00:02:08 00:02:11 forth because
00:02:09 00:02:12 you guys want to understand one thing
00:02:11 00:02:14 you don't have any control over your
00:02:12 00:02:16 business manager account on facebook or
00:02:14 00:02:17 on your merch antenna or google ads
00:02:16 00:02:18 account with
00:02:17 00:02:20 google or just about any other
00:02:18 00:02:23 advertising platform however
00:02:20 00:02:24 you do have control over your data
00:02:23 00:02:26 meaning your email
00:02:24 00:02:27 list and your customer list these things
00:02:26 00:02:30 are something you can download
00:02:27 00:02:32 and keep on your computer or hard drive
00:02:30 00:02:32 safely and they won't be taken away from
00:02:32 00:02:34 you
00:02:32 00:02:36 unless you of course delete them so that
00:02:34 00:02:38 is why it has become extremely
00:02:36 00:02:41 important to invest money into data to
00:02:38 00:02:42 make sure you have a good and optimized
00:02:41 00:02:44 customer list and this could also
00:02:42 00:02:46 include look like audiences
00:02:44 00:02:47 so you can use them to your advantage so
00:02:46 00:02:49 from the beginning
00:02:47 00:02:51 i would focus my energy on getting data
00:02:49 00:02:54 it could mean getting data from
00:02:51 00:02:55 advertising on free facebook groups free
00:02:54 00:02:57 instagram influencers or
00:02:55 00:02:59 even paying for those things and making
00:02:57 00:03:02 sure that the data i'm getting
00:02:59 00:03:03 is appropriate for my shopify drop
00:03:02 00:03:05 shipping store meaning if it's a niche
00:03:03 00:03:07 store in a one given niche
00:03:05 00:03:08 i want people coming onto my website who
00:03:07 00:03:10 may be interested
00:03:08 00:03:12 with stuff related to that niche but
00:03:10 00:03:13 this all ties into the advertising
00:03:12 00:03:15 platform
00:03:13 00:03:17 aspect because a lot of people actually
00:03:15 00:03:18 believe advertising is literally the
00:03:17 00:03:20 most important
00:03:18 00:03:21 thing and while that is true to an
00:03:20 00:03:24 extent you can't really
00:03:21 00:03:25 utilize any advertising platform fully
00:03:24 00:03:27 until you have
00:03:25 00:03:28 proper data until the data that you do
00:03:27 00:03:30 have is actually
00:03:28 00:03:31 relevant to the kind of products you're
00:03:30 00:03:33 selling to the kind of audiences you
00:03:31 00:03:34 want to be targeting so that's why it's
00:03:33 00:03:36 super important to start
00:03:34 00:03:37 off with knowing exactly what kind of
00:03:36 00:03:39 data you want
00:03:37 00:03:41 and this again relates to the niche or
00:03:39 00:03:43 general store which you have chosen
00:03:41 00:03:45 to do drop shipping with and we'll be
00:03:43 00:03:46 going more into detail in those
00:03:45 00:03:48 very shortly but when it comes to
00:03:46 00:03:49 advertising platform here's exactly what
00:03:48 00:03:51 i would do
00:03:49 00:03:52 and this is assuming that i have
00:03:51 00:03:53 literally zero knowledge with addresses
00:03:52 00:03:57 and platforms as well
00:03:53 00:03:59 i would go in and master one at a time
00:03:57 00:04:01 but here's the big difference i would
00:03:59 00:04:04 not go into one of the saturated
00:04:01 00:04:06 platforms such as facebook ads mostly
00:04:04 00:04:07 simply because in my opinion facebook
00:04:06 00:04:09 ads is already very saturated
00:04:07 00:04:11 and if you're just a beginner especially
00:04:09 00:04:11 someone that has little to no budget to
00:04:11 00:04:14 spend
00:04:11 00:04:16 facebook ads is not the way to go and
00:04:14 00:04:16 this is where the unsaturated versus
00:04:16 00:04:18 saturated
00:04:16 00:04:20 topic comes into play a lot of people
00:04:18 00:04:21 think that the unsaturated platforms
00:04:20 00:04:23 like pinterest
00:04:21 00:04:25 tiktok and so forth are extremely
00:04:23 00:04:27 hard to use that their
00:04:25 00:04:28 shopify store is extremely unique and
00:04:27 00:04:29 it's not going to be able to be
00:04:28 00:04:31 advertised
00:04:29 00:04:32 on these unsaturated platforms but let
00:04:31 00:04:33 me tell you that that is far from the
00:04:32 00:04:34 truth
00:04:33 00:04:36 a lot of people in a wide variety of
00:04:34 00:04:37 different niches are finding great
00:04:36 00:04:39 success with
00:04:37 00:04:41 unsaturated advertising platforms so
00:04:39 00:04:43 that's exactly how you want to go about
00:04:41 00:04:44 this and what i would personally do as
00:04:43 00:04:47 well and here are a few examples
00:04:44 00:04:48 of unsaturated platforms i would start
00:04:47 00:04:50 looking into first one
00:04:48 00:04:52 tiktok obviously second pinterest
00:04:50 00:04:52 third one google ads there are also
00:04:52 00:04:54 things like
00:04:52 00:04:56 reddit ads bing ads and so forth but
00:04:54 00:04:58 these three are the main that i would
00:04:56 00:05:00 start looking into because they are
00:04:58 00:05:02 gaining extremely high in popularity
00:05:00 00:05:04 i already use google ads a lot and the
00:05:02 00:05:05 reason why i believe google ads is still
00:05:04 00:05:07 unsaturated is because
00:05:05 00:05:09 within the past year thousands and
00:05:07 00:05:11 thousands of shopify drop shippers have
00:05:09 00:05:13 been suspended from google ads
00:05:11 00:05:15 a lot of them have given up on trying to
00:05:13 00:05:17 get their ad accounts back so that means
00:05:15 00:05:18 this has basically become unsaturated at
00:05:17 00:05:20 this point so if you are
00:05:18 00:05:22 able to follow my videos and get the ad
00:05:20 00:05:24 account and the merchant center account
00:05:22 00:05:26 approved and that will be a big win for
00:05:24 00:05:27 you and you can make a lot of sales with
00:05:26 00:05:28 google but
00:05:27 00:05:30 these three are definitely one of the
00:05:28 00:05:31 main ones i would start looking into if
00:05:30 00:05:33 i was a beginner
00:05:31 00:05:35 starting from scratch but that brings me
00:05:33 00:05:37 to the product section along with
00:05:35 00:05:39 finding products which are of course
00:05:37 00:05:41 good for the general public
00:05:39 00:05:42 and something that is quirky interesting
00:05:41 00:05:44 and heavy
00:05:42 00:05:45 in demand i would also look at the
00:05:44 00:05:47 following first of all i would ask
00:05:45 00:05:48 myself the product i'm trying to add and
00:05:47 00:05:50 sell
00:05:48 00:05:52 is actually relevant to the platform
00:05:50 00:05:54 that i want to sell on so that means
00:05:52 00:05:56 if i want to sell on tiktok i'll need
00:05:54 00:05:57 to find products which are more ideal
00:05:56 00:05:59 for the tiktok audience
00:05:57 00:06:01 of course 50 and 60 year olds may not
00:05:59 00:06:03 really be using tiktok as much
00:06:01 00:06:05 as 20 and 30 year olds so i would have
00:06:03 00:06:06 to take that into consideration
00:06:05 00:06:08 when doing product research for that
00:06:06 00:06:10 platform on the other hand with google
00:06:08 00:06:12 ads if you were to sell via google you
00:06:10 00:06:13 may be able to sell all kinds of
00:06:12 00:06:15 different products
00:06:13 00:06:16 regardless of the age group because all
00:06:15 00:06:18 kinds of individuals
00:06:16 00:06:19 do shop on google they do search things
00:06:18 00:06:21 up on google so
00:06:19 00:06:23 that is the benefit with google and that
00:06:21 00:06:23 is you can simply sell anything that you
00:06:23 00:06:25 want
00:06:23 00:06:26 via google ads on the other hand with
00:06:25 00:06:28 pinterest maybe you want to try to sell
00:06:26 00:06:29 beauty products or something related to
00:06:28 00:06:30 the woman
00:06:29 00:06:32 audience mostly simply because more
00:06:30 00:06:33 women use pinterest than men
00:06:32 00:06:35 and this is exactly what i mean when i
00:06:33 00:06:36 say try to find products related to the
00:06:35 00:06:38 platform
00:06:36 00:06:39 a lot of people go wrong here thinking
00:06:38 00:06:40 that something that works for facebook
00:06:39 00:06:42 ads
00:06:40 00:06:43 may work for google and that is far from
00:06:42 00:06:45 the truth you want to really think about
00:06:43 00:06:47 your advertising platform and know
00:06:45 00:06:48 whether what you're trying to sell
00:06:47 00:06:50 will work with that given advertising
00:06:48 00:06:51 platform but another thing that i would
00:06:50 00:06:53 heavily look
00:06:51 00:06:55 into and basically focus all of my
00:06:53 00:06:57 energy on is high tiket
00:06:55 00:06:58 i would really not try to sell low
00:06:57 00:06:59 tiket or even mid tiket items at this
00:06:58 00:07:02 point
00:06:59 00:07:02 in 2021 and onwards because 99 of drop
00:07:02 00:07:04 shippers
00:07:02 00:07:06 are doing exactly that i'm always trying
00:07:04 00:07:07 to stand out of the crowd i'm always
00:07:06 00:07:09 trying to try different
00:07:07 00:07:11 things and that also means trying high
00:07:09 00:07:12 tiket more than low tiket and that's
00:07:11 00:07:14 simply because i have had more results
00:07:12 00:07:16 as of now with high tiket
00:07:14 00:07:18 compared to low and i already know that
00:07:16 00:07:20 high tiket it takes the same amount of
00:07:18 00:07:20 effort to sell that as it would with a
00:07:20 00:07:22 20
00:07:20 00:07:24 product so that is why i would mostly
00:07:22 00:07:25 look into high tiket products
00:07:24 00:07:28 related to this given platform and this
00:07:25 00:07:29 could mean 200 up to 500
00:07:28 00:07:31 that is a sweet range for a high tiket
00:07:29 00:07:33 which i have personally notiked but
00:07:31 00:07:35 this brings me to the next one which is
00:07:33 00:07:37 website because it doesn't matter what
00:07:35 00:07:39 kind of ads you run if you don't have a
00:07:37 00:07:39 proper setup website which is optimized
00:07:39 00:07:42 for conversions
00:07:39 00:07:44 it's simply not gonna work so with the
00:07:42 00:07:46 website here's what you need to decide
00:07:44 00:07:47 from the beginning do you want to have a
00:07:46 00:07:49 general store or a niche store
00:07:47 00:07:51 knowing what i know already i would
00:07:49 00:07:52 personally start with a general store to
00:07:51 00:07:54 leave my options open
00:07:52 00:07:56 and i would not really want to cave
00:07:54 00:07:58 myself into a specific niche
00:07:56 00:08:00 especially if the advertising platform
00:07:58 00:08:02 i'm using is completely new to me
00:08:00 00:08:03 and i have little to no idea what kind
00:08:02 00:08:05 of audiences actually shop on those
00:08:03 00:08:06 given platforms so
00:08:05 00:08:08 that is why i would go with a general
00:08:06 00:08:10 store to start off with
00:08:08 00:08:11 and to set up my general store here's
00:08:10 00:08:13 exactly what i would do
00:08:11 00:08:15 i would go on these three websites and i
00:08:13 00:08:17 would try to mimic their layout as much
00:08:15 00:08:17 as possible now this does not mean that
00:08:17 00:08:19 you go in
00:08:17 00:08:21 and copy everything word for word and
00:08:19 00:08:23 make sure that every link and every
00:08:21 00:08:25 design is exactly the same as these but
00:08:23 00:08:27 it does mean that you want to have a
00:08:25 00:08:28 sort of similar layout to these websites
00:08:27 00:08:30 and that's simply because
00:08:28 00:08:32 these are six-figure seven-figure
00:08:30 00:08:33 generating websites which do that amount
00:08:32 00:08:35 every single month
00:08:33 00:08:37 and they're already successful so you
00:08:35 00:08:39 want to kind of be following the success
00:08:37 00:08:40 and not try to make your own path and
00:08:39 00:08:42 i'm not saying that it can't work to
00:08:40 00:08:44 make your own path however
00:08:42 00:08:46 if other websites are already successful
00:08:44 00:08:48 you may want to sort of mimic those and
00:08:46 00:08:49 go from there and 2lots.com
00:08:48 00:08:51 sharper image and inspire uplift these
00:08:49 00:08:53 three are basically all you need
00:08:51 00:08:55 to build a successful hundred thousand
00:08:53 00:08:57 dollar per month or even per year
00:08:55 00:08:59 drop shipping store but let's bring it
00:08:57 00:09:00 down to the product page because the
00:08:59 00:09:01 product page
00:09:00 00:09:03 regardless of which advertising platform
00:09:01 00:09:05 you use is about 90
00:09:03 00:09:07 of the battle the 10 of the battle is
00:09:05 00:09:09 basically the other pages
00:09:07 00:09:10 on your website with product page here's

00:09:10 00:09:13 exact few things i would follow there's

00:09:16 00:09:19 i'm going to keep it short and simple
00:09:18 00:09:20 and lay out just the main things that i
00:09:19 00:09:21 would do
00:09:20 00:09:24 first things first i would have no
00:09:21 00:09:25 timers no trust badges or any
00:09:24 00:09:27 unnecessary info
00:09:25 00:09:29 taking up space on the product page a
00:09:27 00:09:31 lot of people have those collections
00:09:29 00:09:33 noting down exactly which category this
00:09:31 00:09:34 product is in at the top
00:09:33 00:09:36 and then they have the special share
00:09:34 00:09:38 buttons below the description
00:09:36 00:09:40 and all sorts of these funky things
00:09:38 00:09:42 which just end up taking space and are
00:09:40 00:09:43 not really beneficial to the general
00:09:42 00:09:44 customer so
00:09:43 00:09:46 we want to get rid of those and we want
00:09:44 00:09:47 to get rid of any unnecessary white
00:09:46 00:09:49 space because
00:09:47 00:09:50 this reduces the amount of scrolling a
00:09:49 00:09:52 customer has to do
00:09:50 00:09:53 and in some cases it might even speed up
00:09:52 00:09:55 your website so make sure
00:09:53 00:09:57 that you don't have any unnecessary info
00:09:55 00:09:58 that takes up space
00:09:57 00:10:00 but in addition you want to be starting
00:09:58 00:10:02 to focus more on search engine
00:10:00 00:10:04 optimized descriptions it does not
00:10:02 00:10:06 matter if you're using google ads or not
00:10:04 00:10:08 a search engine optimized description is
00:10:06 00:10:10 going to significantly
00:10:08 00:10:11 help you get organic sales in the long
00:10:10 00:10:13 run in the beginning
00:10:11 00:10:15 it may seem like a hassle but trust me
00:10:13 00:10:17 as you keep doing this and over time
00:10:15 00:10:19 as you do more you're going to get more
00:10:17 00:10:21 and more sales organically and that is

00:10:23 00:10:26 get sales so search engine optimized
00:10:24 00:10:26 descriptions will definitely help you

00:10:36 00:10:40 reviews per product
00:10:38 00:10:41 in proper english now exactly what do i
00:10:40 00:10:43 mean by random reviews
00:10:41 00:10:45 when i say random reviews i mean that
00:10:43 00:10:47 one product should have seven reviews
00:10:45 00:10:48 another one should have 31 and the third
00:10:47 00:10:50 one should have 43
00:10:48 00:10:52 and so forth you want to keep it random
00:10:50 00:10:54 you don't want to import exactly 10
00:10:52 00:10:55 reviews per product because
00:10:54 00:10:57 that is just going to mess things up and
00:10:55 00:10:57 it's not really going to make the
00:10:57 00:10:59 customer
00:10:57 00:11:01 trust you anymore so you want to make
00:10:59 00:11:02 sure that those are pretty much
00:11:01 00:11:04 random and that they're in proper
00:11:02 00:11:06 english but final thing for the website
00:11:04 00:11:07 you don't really have to go too in-depth
00:11:06 00:11:09 you want to make sure that your website
00:11:07 00:11:10 is fast and by fast
00:11:09 00:11:13 i mean less than three seconds if it's
00:11:10 00:11:15 more than 30 seconds it's going to
00:11:13 00:11:16 significantly start going into your
00:11:15 00:11:18 conversion rate you're going to notike a
00:11:16 00:11:19 lower conversion rate
00:11:18 00:11:21 overall for your website so if you want
00:11:19 00:11:23 to avoid that make sure that your
00:11:21 00:11:24 website is fast and loading faster than
00:11:23 00:11:25 three seconds maybe within two seconds
00:11:24 00:11:27 or so
00:11:25 00:11:28 and for this i do recommend hiring
00:11:27 00:11:30 somebody on fiverr or upwork
00:11:28 00:11:32 that is normally what i would do if i
00:11:30 00:11:33 were starting a brand new shopify store
00:11:32 00:11:35 but
00:11:33 00:11:37 this brings me to the ad section now
00:11:35 00:11:37 there's a reason why the ad section here
00:11:37 00:11:39 is extremely
00:11:37 00:11:41 small and that's because if you have
00:11:39 00:11:43 been doing all these things correctly
00:11:41 00:11:44 with the ads as long as you are
00:11:43 00:11:46 targeting the right products to the
00:11:44 00:11:48 right audience you should be getting
00:11:46 00:11:51 some kind of results this is not really
00:11:48 00:11:53 rocket science a lot of people like to
00:11:51 00:11:54 over complicate ad so here's exactly
00:11:53 00:11:55 what i would personally do
00:11:54 00:11:57 i would start off by first of all
00:11:55 00:11:58 testing the new advertising platform
00:11:57 00:11:59 because
00:11:58 00:12:02 at this point i would have little to no
00:11:59 00:12:04 data or knowledge about this ad platform
00:12:02 00:12:06 so i would start with a very low budget
00:12:04 00:12:07 and i would test different audiences and
00:12:06 00:12:09 different products of course
00:12:07 00:12:11 i would try to keep my audiences as
00:12:09 00:12:13 relevant as possible to the product
00:12:11 00:12:15 but i would definitely start off with a
00:12:13 00:12:17 low budget and then slowly over time
00:12:15 00:12:19 scale up based on the results now for
00:12:17 00:12:20 google ads a low budget would mean
00:12:19 00:12:22 around 25 dollars a day
00:12:20 00:12:23 for tiktok and pinterest on the other
00:12:22 00:12:24 hand it may mean around ten dollars a
00:12:23 00:12:26 day
00:12:24 00:12:28 per ad this depends on your budget as
00:12:26 00:12:29 well if you have a much lower budget
00:12:28 00:12:30 than that then i highly recommend you
00:12:29 00:12:32 start off
00:12:30 00:12:34 at five dollars a day for tiktok
00:12:32 00:12:35 facebook pinterest and so forth but
00:12:34 00:12:37 here's another thing
00:12:35 00:12:39 when it comes to running ads and
00:12:37 00:12:41 gathering data because in the end
00:12:39 00:12:42 we're running ads simply to gather data
00:12:41 00:12:44 so our pixel becomes smarter
00:12:42 00:12:46 there is something called good data
00:12:44 00:12:48 versus bad data
00:12:46 00:12:50 exactly what is good data good data is
00:12:48 00:12:53 when you are getting people
00:12:50 00:12:53 on your product page which have some

00:12:53 00:12:56 interest with the product that you're
00:12:55 00:12:59 trying to sell or are
00:12:56 00:13:01 relevant in some way with your products
00:12:59 00:13:02 you don't want to be advertising a dog
00:13:01 00:13:04 necklace to the cat lovers niche
00:13:02 00:13:06 and you don't want to be advertising the
00:13:04 00:13:08 cat necklace to a dog lover's niche and

00:13:32 00:13:36 have to run a hundred dollar
00:13:34 00:13:37 thousand dollar per day assets
00:13:36 00:13:39 especially if they already have a big
00:13:37 00:13:41 budget and that is not a good idea
00:13:39 00:13:43 simple because your ad account is new it
00:13:41 00:13:45 really has not enough data to work with
00:13:43 00:13:46 so if you start it off at the extremely
00:13:45 00:13:48 high budget
00:13:46 00:13:49 the advertising platform all it really
00:13:48 00:13:51 wants is your money
00:13:49 00:13:52 so what it's going to do is it's going
00:13:51 00:13:54 to try to show your ads
00:13:52 00:13:55 to the largest number of people possible
00:13:54 00:13:57 and this could mean
00:13:55 00:13:59 a lot of people that are not really that
00:13:57 00:14:01 interested in your product or are
00:13:59 00:14:03 not really optimized for adding to cart
00:14:01 00:14:04 or purchasing are going to end up on
00:14:03 00:14:05 your website so this would categorize as
00:14:04 00:14:07 bad data
00:14:05 00:14:08 something you want to avoid and that is
00:14:07 00:14:10 also something i would do so again
00:14:08 00:14:12 start with a low budget this brings me
00:14:10 00:14:13 to the final point on the list of what i
00:14:12 00:14:15 would do to get to a hundred thousand
00:14:13 00:14:16 dollars with my shopify drop shipping

00:14:16 00:14:19 is scaling because if you have been

00:14:48 00:14:51 also outsourcing a lot of the tasks
00:14:50 00:14:54 which are taking up a lot of your time
00:14:51 00:14:55 and mostly focusing on the advertising
