00:01:02 00:01:09 quarters in every single year for
00:01:04 00:01:11 business q1 q2 q3 and finally q4 q4
00:01:09 00:01:13 begins on october 1st and ends on
00:01:11 00:01:15 december 31st so i'm here on

00:01:15 00:01:22 exactly which months are q1 q2 q3 and
00:01:18 00:01:24 finally q4 so as you guys can see q1 for
00:01:22 00:01:28 this specific year 2018 is basically
00:01:24 00:01:30 from january 1st to march 31st and then
00:01:28 00:01:33 q2 begins which is on april 1st and
00:01:30 00:01:35 lasts until june 30th and third q3
00:01:33 00:01:37 begins which is july 1st is september
00:01:35 00:01:40 30th and finally q4 which is the most
00:01:37 00:01:42 important one and lasts from october 1st
00:01:40 00:01:45 to december 31st so as you guys can see
00:01:42 00:01:47 it's the same dates each year and
00:01:45 00:01:49 basically these are important calendar
00:01:47 00:01:51 months for businesses to look out for
00:01:49 00:01:53 because your business will perform
00:01:51 00:01:56 differently in each of the specific
00:01:53 00:01:58 calendar year and the quarter right now
00:01:56 00:02:01 we're in the middle of q3 going on to q4
00:01:58 00:02:03 the main reason q4 is so important and
00:02:01 00:02:07 highly toked about is because a lot of
00:02:03 00:02:09 the holidays come inside q4 thanksgiving
00:02:07 00:02:11 christmas new year's these are all the
00:02:09 00:02:14 big holidays where a lot of the shoppers
00:02:11 00:02:16 go out to buy stuff for other people and
00:02:14 00:02:18 themselves so this is why it's so
00:02:16 00:02:20 important to start getting ready for q4
00:02:18 00:02:22 and if you're already now getting ready
00:02:20 00:02:24 it's kind of late already but you still
00:02:22 00:02:26 have time and i'm gonna be telling you
00:02:24 00:02:27 guys exactly what you need to change on
00:02:26 00:02:29 your store and what you need to focus on
00:02:27 00:02:30 so make sure to watch the entire video

00:02:30 00:02:35 toking about regarding q4 is products
00:02:33 00:02:37 if you're not already doing this you
00:02:35 00:02:39 need to start testing products heavily
00:02:37 00:02:42 in q4 june july and august are usually
00:02:39 00:02:44 slow months for a lot of the businesses
00:02:42 00:02:46 but once august passes and september
00:02:44 00:02:47 comes on it's time to really start
00:02:46 00:02:49 testing products heavily two to three
00:02:47 00:02:51 products each day and basically start
00:02:49 00:02:54 finding those little winning products
00:02:51 00:02:56 which you can scale up to six figures
00:02:54 00:02:59 during the q4 time and scaling becomes
00:02:56 00:03:01 super easy in q4 mainly because
00:02:59 00:03:03 everyone is really trying to purchase
00:03:01 00:03:05 something for each other and themselves
00:03:03 00:03:07 so your costs really come down but
00:03:05 00:03:09 the bad point about this is that there's
00:03:07 00:03:11 hundreds of thousands of other companies
00:03:09 00:03:14 on facebook trying to advertise during
00:03:11 00:03:17 q4 and their budgets actually increase
00:03:14 00:03:19 during q4 so that's why it's better for
00:03:17 00:03:21 us to prepare early so that we can
00:03:19 00:03:23 capture a large part of the market
00:03:21 00:03:25 audience and again this is the best time
00:03:23 00:03:27 of the year to get the highest roi
00:03:25 00:03:29 because people are shopping for gifts
00:03:27 00:03:30 you don't have to force them to buy
00:03:29 00:03:32 anything because
00:03:30 00:03:35 they're truly wanting to buy stuff and
00:03:32 00:03:36 spend money so again the first point is
00:03:35 00:03:38 start testing products heavily this
00:03:36 00:03:41 upcoming month the second thing you want
00:03:38 00:03:42 to be looking out for is seasons as we
00:03:41 00:03:44 all know thanksgiving is coming and then
00:03:42 00:03:46 followed by christmas and then new
00:03:44 00:03:48 year's if you're somewhat of a general
00:03:46 00:03:50 store or you have a specific niche store
00:03:48 00:03:52 related to one of these categories you
00:03:50 00:03:55 want to start looking at items in these
00:03:52 00:03:57 specific categories because during these
00:03:55 00:03:59 times these items get really popular and
00:03:57 00:04:01 people start to buy them one whole month
00:03:59 00:04:03 before the actual event so we still have
00:04:01 00:04:05 time for these events but you can start
00:04:03 00:04:06 looking around seeing what kinds of cool
00:04:05 00:04:08 items are out there for thanksgiving
00:04:06 00:04:10 christmas and new year's and maybe start
00:04:08 00:04:12 looking into importing them into your
00:04:10 00:04:14 store and creating really killer
00:04:12 00:04:16 descriptions and ad copies so you can
00:04:14 00:04:18 use them directly the third thing you
00:04:16 00:04:20 want to really start focusing on is
00:04:18 00:04:22 expanding onto different marketing
00:04:20 00:04:24 platforms there are several platforms i
00:04:22 00:04:27 have listed such as google ads bing ads
00:04:24 00:04:29 twitter even quora if some of you don't
00:04:27 00:04:31 know quora is a basically question and
00:04:29 00:04:33 answer website where people ask all
00:04:31 00:04:36 kinds of questions and get answers for
00:04:33 00:04:37 them and quora is really untapped
00:04:36 00:04:40 because not a lot of people use it for
00:04:37 00:04:41 e-commerce so it's definitely worth a
00:04:40 00:04:44 try and one more thing that's really
00:04:41 00:04:46 important is pinterest you guys want to
00:04:44 00:04:49 basically utilize pinterest for organic
00:04:46 00:04:50 traffic if you're not doing any ad on it
00:04:49 00:04:52 but if you're unsure of how to really
00:04:50 00:04:54 advertise on these specific marketing
00:04:52 00:04:56 platforms you want to spend some time
00:04:54 00:04:58 learning those now or maybe hire someone
00:04:56 00:05:00 to do it there's a lot of free resources
00:04:58 00:05:02 on youtube and even facebook groups
00:05:00 00:05:04 which teach about a lot of these
00:05:02 00:05:07 marketing platforms i even have a lot of
00:05:04 00:05:08 videos on some of these advertising
00:05:07 00:05:11 platforms such as facebook and even
00:05:08 00:05:12 pinterest and reddit ads so just hop
00:05:11 00:05:14 onto my channel and just make sure to
00:05:12 00:05:16 watch those videos to really understand
00:05:14 00:05:18 about the different marketing platforms
00:05:16 00:05:20 because in q4 the more marketing
00:05:18 00:05:22 platforms you have the higher the
00:05:20 00:05:23 revenue you're going to get and the
00:05:22 00:05:25 higher the profit you're going to make
00:05:23 00:05:27 so this is the best time to really
00:05:25 00:05:29 target these specific marketing
00:05:27 00:05:31 platforms and try to get the best bang
00:05:29 00:05:33 out of your buck i'm personally opening

00:06:36 00:06:40 these could be fulfillment centers in
00:06:38 00:06:42 the united states or chinese fulfillment
00:06:40 00:06:44 centers basically the reason why we're
00:06:42 00:06:46 looking at these is because if you
00:06:44 00:06:47 do find a winning product during this
00:06:46 00:06:49 time
00:06:47 00:06:50 and it really starts to sell well
00:06:49 00:06:52 let's say it's a product for christmas
00:06:50 00:06:54 specifically and
00:06:52 00:06:56 people only use it in christmas then
00:06:54 00:06:58 there's no point in having 12 to 20 days
00:06:56 00:07:00 shipping when it's december 20th because
00:06:58 00:07:02 the item is gonna arrive late in january
00:07:00 00:07:04 when christmas is already gone so in
00:07:02 00:07:06 order to prevent chargebacks during this
00:07:04 00:07:08 time you want to really start looking
00:07:06 00:07:10 into fulfillment centers who can provide
00:07:08 00:07:11 a little bit of faster shipping for you
00:07:10 00:07:14 and this will really come in handy when
00:07:11 00:07:16 you're scaling your product to the moon
00:07:14 00:07:18 and have tons and tons of orders coming
00:07:16 00:07:20 in each day basically the fulfillment
00:07:18 00:07:22 center takes care of it all for you and
00:07:20 00:07:24 you also get really good customer
00:07:22 00:07:26 reviews because shipping is fast you can
00:07:24 00:07:28 find a lot of the fulfillment centers on
00:07:26 00:07:29 facebook groups i even have my own
00:07:28 00:07:31 facebook group which you can join for

00:07:33 00:07:37 fulfillment centers for the future when
00:07:35 00:07:39 you start scaling basically
00:07:37 00:07:42 and the sixth and final thing on my list
00:07:39 00:07:44 is get on good terms with suppliers
00:07:42 00:07:46 only if you already have a winning
00:07:44 00:07:48 product so if you do not have a winning
00:07:46 00:07:50 product yet continue to do product
00:07:48 00:07:52 research on aliexpress i have a very
00:07:50 00:07:54 nice video on how to do product research
00:07:52 00:07:56 on my channel basically once you have a
00:07:54 00:07:58 winning product you want to basically
00:07:56 00:08:01 add your supplier as a friend on skype
00:07:58 00:08:03 and regularly chat with them to see what
00:08:01 00:08:05 kind of items other items they can offer
00:08:03 00:08:07 and when you're really getting orders
00:08:05 00:08:09 you could even send them just csv files
00:08:07 00:08:11 of all the order lists so you don't have
00:08:09 00:08:13 to order one by one and they could send
00:08:11 00:08:15 you back the tracking numbers
00:08:13 00:08:17 but this is really a good way to start a
00:08:15 00:08:19 good relationship with the supplier from
00:08:17 00:08:21 china because they could also provide
00:08:19 00:08:23 you other items
00:08:21 00:08:24 that could sell well on your store or
00:08:23 00:08:26 they could even provide some of the
00:08:24 00:08:27 items you have already listed on your
00:08:26 00:08:29 store but the main reason you want to
00:08:27 00:08:30 have good relations is so that they
00:08:29 00:08:32 could provide the products for a little
00:08:30 00:08:34 bit cheaper because once you start
00:08:32 00:08:36 ordering 200 300 for them each day
00:08:34 00:08:39 they're gonna definitely reduce the
00:08:36 00:08:41 price for you so do look into that and
00:08:39 00:08:43 really start preparing for q4 so i hope
