right g'day. guys clint here for dropshippedyou. i hope you're having a great day. today i'm going to be toking about how long it takes to start making money with drop shipping. so, without further ado, let's rip into the video and get started. all righty, okay, guys, just real quick. before we kick off, make sure, if you're just starting out, check out our free training in the description below: two hours of awesome content that will really fast track everything you're working on right now. so again, check it out below. all right, so you you're watching this video. you're wondering how long it takes to make money with drop shipping. so i'm going to give you an example, uh, of what i've found with most of my students with dropship down under. so basically, especially when you've got a bit of a blueprint, it can take a bit longer if you don't. so again, check out the free training below. um, sorry, it's a bit hot here, um, but yeah. so how long will it take? okay? firstly, what you you got to do your market research, okay, and you want to. you don't want to rush that, okay. so if you know anything about what we do, we focus on high tiket, high quality items, uh, and you want to find sort of local suppliers, so that you've got the quality gear and the fast shipping time. so, with that in mind, you know you want to spend, you don't? you don't want to get held up on a niche idea or your market research, but you do want to. you do want to do some comprehensive market research, okay, so that might take you sort of two weeks, a week, a week to a week to two weeks, unless, unless you've got a specialized knowledge and a specialized idea of what you already want to sell. you might be a trades person, you know a specialized tool, or you know tools that you might be able to use, or you might be in you know whatever industry. it doesn't even matter. but, like you understand what i get, if you've got some specialized knowledge or some specialized supplies you already have access to, it might happen straight away for you and you can move forward. but usually that process to get get the ball rolling and start thinking, um, of your niche, your niche ideas and and your, you know your market research- takes a week to two weeks, okay, depending on your skills to build a store. um, you know, it might. that might take you a week, um, depending on how good you are. but yeah, you do. you do have to upload a whole heap of products as well, because you need to obviously find your suppliers and reach out to them. but you do need to put some demo products up into a store so you can reach out to your suppliers. they don't want to see an empty store. so, again, i always suggested: pull a few products off aliexpress, um, just as placeholders, tiknically your store's live, but you get the idea you can show suppliers that you are live and you you replace those products out once. once you put on onboard your suppliers, okay, the supply process can take, you know again, a few days to a week, um, depending you know how hard you do your calls, how many calls you do, how hard you follow up, and you know, by then, once you've uploaded all your products and you've onboarded some suppliers, you're looking at about a month to roughly a month people take, i've found, you know, especially when you're working full time at the end of the day, you know you, your time is is limited, obviously, so usually it takes about a month to get your first ad up and running and and and starting to make your very first sale. okay, what i find beyond that, now that the exciting part, i guess. so you know, um, you want to get your first sale within the first month to keep your momentum going. you know, first three weeks to a month you want to get your first sale, so you want your ads running, you want all that going. but then i find, you know, within sort of two weeks after launch, a month after launch, you're starting to see that um, momentum build. you're starting to see some regular ish sales a month and month, a month to three months, you're starting to really find your feet dial in your ads. you know you're starting to see a couple of sales a day, that kind of thing. and then we've been sort of, you know, three months to six months, and then six months and beyond, you really find your feet and your, you know, especially if you've done your market research, you've selected a half decent niche. you know you're starting to see those daily sales, multiple sales, and you start look forward to, you know, that whole online lifestyle, dream of being, you know, working from home, location, independent. what have you? you know, by 12 months you start to think about leaving your job. well, you should be if you're serious about doing this and working hard, i mean, every day. you know you can be doing part-time but again, like i say in other videos, you need to be working part-time every single day, you know, and putting in some decent hours. three, three to five hours a day. part-time you'll be, you know well, on your way to making money. so there's a bit of a timeline, guys, of um, sort of how long it takes to make money with drop shipping. you know, your first month- you just saw the first month- you just sort of find your way, based on what i've seen with my students- um, the the second month, you know, all the way up to three months- is you're finding your feet, making your first few sales, getting a little bit bitter consistency, and then, six months and beyond, you're really starting to ramp up. you, you know you're starting to scale your ads and you start to see those multiple sales a day and and he's starting to think about: yes, this is going to work and this is what i'm going to do. so, all right, guys, i hope you got a bit of value out of that. um, i don't need to go on, you get the idea. uh, so, if you're loving the videos, give me a thumbs up, subscribe. um, you know, hit the bell notification if you want to find out more about how we do what we do. you know all the nuts and bolts and the uh uh. you know how to make all this stik together. um. check out our free training in the description below. two hours of awesome content. it'll really fast track everything you're working on. so check it out and that's it. keep living the dream. see you in the next video. cheers [Music] you.

I Tried Dropshipping With $100 (Realistic Results)

the past few years i've managed to make over seven figures drop shipping. but then i thought to myself, what if i lost it all, all the money, all the knowledge, all the connections, and i would have to start all over again with only 100 to my name? well, lucky for you guys, in this video i'm gonna go over exactly what i would do if i were to just start with 100 and potentially just maybe cut myself a lambo at the end of this video. so i am starting with 100 to my name. but wait, there's more. there are a few guidelines set in place, some terms and conditions. perhaps that will make this challenge a little bit harder. rule number one is i can't use my past connections, old influencers, past suppliers that have given me winning products and just overall, anything that i know of that can help influence this challenge to make it easier for me. rule number two is i have to start a brand new shopify store, meaning i also have to start with a brand new product that i've never tested before, just so that it's fair and it's as if i started from complete scratch. rule number three is i can't use my personal brand to gain anything out of this challenge, meaning shout it out on my instagram or just do anything to influence it in that sort of way. and last but not least, as you guys already know is i only have a set budget of 100. so now that you guys understand the rules, let's let the games begin. so the first step in the process is to actually find a winning product. now, since we only do have a budget of 100, i'm gonna be going the tiktok organic route, meaning posting content on tik tok and hope one of them blow up so that we can get a lot of visitors to our site for virtually free. now, personally, if you're on a budget, i think this is the best method because you don't have to spend any money on advertising and, in the case that a tiktok does blow up, you can get a lot of sales. so the way i'm actually gonna find a winning product is scroll through my tiktok feed. for a while here i'm gonna sit here, chill, scroll and since my tiktok feed is optimized to finding winning products- since i just like a bunch of drop shipping ads and drop shipping pages- we might come across something that may be interesting. so i'm gonna go ahead and do that now and get back to you guys once i think i found something pretty interesting or worthy of selling demon. this is the reality. sitting there, there's some on the radio back and forth, just had a heart attack and i heard the little one who's climate change. so you have 300. so a lot of people think. so a lot of people think that i'm faking these videos, but i'm going to show you guys once. i don't know, i think i may have just found a product that may be worthwhile testing. okay, so pretty much what this is is a speaker and you guys can pretty much see you connect your phone to this bluetooth metal thing and once you place that object on any surface, like something metal or glass, it pretty much amplifies the sound. so i'm gonna go ahead and follow this page and you guys can pretty much see that they're posting videos consistently, honestly, and it looks like they're getting consistent likes and comments on every single video that they post. so let's go ahead and check out their store and it looks like it's a general store that they turned into a one product store from the name of it. they're selling it for forty dollars and they have some pretty nice images here, some gifs and description, the size- overall really nice, and they have some reviews, so this might be a potential product, and i'm actually really excited to test this product out. the views are outrageous and they post really consistently and it looks like it's not too old. so you guys can see, their first video was on the 19th, which is insane. so this is a product that could potentially get us our lambo, okay. so right away i went ahead and searched the product on amazon, hoping i could find it- it was the fourth option- and went ahead and purchased it for 38. and then i also went on aliexpress to see how much i could source this product for, which came to be around 21, and i could always get this lower once i start getting more orders. but since we're selling it for 40 dollars and we're getting it for 21, we have a profit margin of 19.. so out of our 100 budget, we spent 38 of that to order the product, which leaves us with a total of 62 left to spend. but anyway, now that we have to wait for the product to arrive, i'm going to go ahead and use this time to actually create the store for this product. porta speaker: a speaker that is portable and you could pretty much stik anywhere and amplify the noise. well, hey, i think we got ourselves a brand name. porta speaker sounds pretty nice and pretty easy to remember. now, since we are on a budget of 100, i'm gonna be going ahead and making the logo myself. i'm gonna be using a 30 day shopify free trial, which, if you guys want to do the same, you can use the link below. so we're pretty much not gonna have to pay for shopify for the first 30 days. so i'm gonna get to work, create the store and then hopefully we get the amazon product so that we can start filming some content, posting the tik toks and just start driving traffic to the store to see if anyone would actually buy from this store. but anyway, let's go ahead and start the store build. okay, so our dropify shoplifting store is finally complete and now it's time to review it. ladies and gentlemen, i present to you porta speakerus- what, okay? so here is the product page where pretty much all of our customers are going to be redirected to. you guys can see we have a few images right here so you can just scroll through. we have the name of the product with a few reviews under it and you can see we have free shipping and 50 off, right under the price, and then, going into the description, we have a headline with a description under it, along with a few gifs. i'm going to be changing these gifs once i actually get the product and i'm going to pretty much record custom gifs so that they're a little more personalized and people who come to our site get a more personalized experience, but for now i just have these temporary gifs that i have just as a placeholder. we have another headline and description, another gif, another headline description and a gif, and then we have a faq section for customers who have any questions or doubts about the product, and you can see how this works. it's pretty much a drop down menu scrolling down into the reviews. we have all these reviews. reviews are very important and you could pretty much just take these from the supplier that you're sourcing the product from, because it's pretty much the same exact product. and that concludes our presentation for the porta speaker website. so we found the winning product. we have our site built out. now the last step is actually to get the product and create a tiktok page for it and then just start posting loads of custom content for the products that we can potentially get on the for you page of different potential customers that will potentially be the holder of the one and only porta speaker [Music]. okay, so the product has finally arrived from bezos's hands into my possession and now we're gonna go ahead and unbox this right in front of you guys. so let's go ahead and see what we got. i present to you the porta speaker. wow, it honestly looks pretty solid. okay, so i'm gonna go ahead and set this up and see what we can actually do with this thing and if it actually even works as expected. all right, so i just set it up. so i'm gonna go ahead and play some non-copyrighted music so that susan doesn't cut my paycheck for the month, but i'm gonna go ahead and show you guys how this works. it's honestly pretty cool. all right, so i have my music ready to go. i'm gonna move my mic actually, so you guys can pretty much hear everything that's happening, and i'm gonna go ahead and click play without this on the table and watch what happens once i actually put it on the table. [Music]. that actually works, believe it or not. we're actually almost pr.

I Tried Shopify Dropshipping With NO MONEY For 1 Week

so in this video, i'm gonna start a brand new shopify drop shipping business and attempt to take it from zero dollars to over one thousand dollars in just one week. and i'm not going to be using any money for this challenge, and i know a lot of people think you can't start a drop shipping business without any money, but we're gonna prove them wrong in this video and i'll be starting the drop shipping business completely from scratch and walk you through the entire step-by-step process, and at the end of the video, i'll show you exactly how much money the business makes. honestly, i'm hoping it's gonna make over a thousand dollars, but we're just gonna have to wait and see. so i have a lot of stuff that i have to get done today, and the very first thing i want to do is just find a good product to sell, and then after that, i'm just going to find a good supplier. then i'm just going to create my online store with shopify and then after that, i'm going to start creating advertisements, and for this challenge, i'm basically going to be using pinterest, instagram and tiktok and just basically post viral videos on there for free. and yes, this method does work well, since i do use it on my current drop shipping businesses that make over six figures. okay. so the first thing i want to start by doing is trying to find a good product to sell and, honestly, as long as i can create viral videos with the product and it has high demand, it's something i can work with. and, honestly, i find about 99 of my viral products on tiktok, so i'm going to kind of show you my strategy and how you can do this yourself. so kind of what i do on tik tok is just search up tiktok made me buy it- then i'll just click on that little hamburger icon in the top right corner, then i'll just change the date posted to this month and now it's going to show you a bunch of relevant winning products that are selling right now. and some other hashtags you can do this with is amazon fines, drop shippers exposed and tiktok viral products. but anyways, i'm going to take the next 20 minutes to try to find some good products to sell and once i do find something, i'll come back and update you okay. so, honestly, i found a ton of really good products, but there is one that stood out to me the most, which is the cordless hair curler. and for anyone who doesn't know? the cordless hair curler is really convenient for females, since you can kind of touch up your hair anywhere you go, and there's so many stores on tiktok selling this product, so if they're doing well, i'm sure i can also do the same. all right. so the next thing i want to do is find a supplier that i can get the product from, and so for this video, i think i'm going to use spocket. so i found the cordless hair curler on spock it for 28 dollars and 30 cents, which is really good, and the shipping times are only seven to 14 business days, which is also ideal, and i think i'm gonna sell the product on my store for 59.99. now i've actually seen a lot of stores sign this product for over a hundred dollars, but because i do want to sell a lot of product in a short period of time and i don't want it to be too expensive, i think 59.99 is a good number to stik with, and if my customers do see that other stores are selling it for over a hundred dollars and i'm only selling it for a fraction of that cost, i'm sure they'd rather buy it from my store. now i do want to add one other product to my store, and i'm thinking just to make it an upsell. so, anyways, i found this heat protectant spray and i think it goes really well with the cordless hair curler, and i'm thinking to sell it on my store for 19.99, and it's only going to cost me eight dollars and 27 cents, which is pretty good, and if you do need a supplier for your drop shipping store, i'll leave a link for spock it in the description of this video. but, anyways, now i got the product, which i'm happy about, and so the next step now is to actually start building my shopify store, and i do want my store to look like an actual brand, and so it is going to take me a little bit of time to build it. so, anyways, i'm going to start working on the store right now and then i'll update you tomorrow once i'm done. all right, so it's the second day now and i finally finished the store and i made it look very simple and clean, and i'm going to show you the page that the customers get redirected to. so, anyways, i have different color options here, and i also did add a sales timer to create sense of urgency. i also included a ton of high quality photos, which is really important, and i also added this to build more trust with the customers. and if you scroll down here, you can see i put what's included in the package, then i tok about the benefits of buying the cordless hair curler, then i added some frequently asked questions and then i also do have a 30 day money back guarantee. a lot of customers won't buy your product if you don't have this, so make sure you do. and if you scroll down here, you can see that i did include how the cordless hair curler works, so this just makes it look really easy and straightforward. and all the way at the bottom of the page i did include some customer reviews. now, i obviously did import these reviews to my store, but usually i do have real customer reviews. but that's pretty much it for the store and i think it looks pretty good. but anyways, now that i'm done with my store, the next important thing i have to do is add a shopify app called after sell to my store, and the reason i'm going to use after sell is because it can increase my revenue anywhere from 10 to 15, which is exactly what i want. and afterstok is for post purchase upsells, and if you don't know what that is. it's basically when you offer a customer a product to purchase after they've already purchased something from your store. for example, after someone purchases the cordless hair curler from my store, i can then offer them another product to purchase. so in my case, i could upsell the heat protectant spray, since it works well with the cordless hair curler. and post purchase upsells work so well because if a customer just purchased something from your store, they're more likely to purchase another item, since you already built that initial trust, and you can even give them a really good discount on the upsell offer, which will then make them want to buy it even more. now, one thing you never want to do with upsells is actually offer them to the customer before they've made a purchase. this will just end up confusing them and they might not end up buying the product at all. but the good thing about after sell is that the upsell offer only comes after a customer makes a purchase, which is exactly what we want. but anyways, i'm actually going to create an upsell offer using after sale for my store right now and kind of walk you through the process step by step. okay, so the very first thing you want to do is go to the shopify app store and just search for after cell and it should come up. so it's going to look like this: after sell, post purchase, upsell. so let's add the app. okay, so once you're in after sale, the first thing you want to do is click here on enable settings. then it's going to bring you to the shopify page. so just make sure you click on after cell, then just click on save. okay, back here, let's just refresh the page. okay, now the first thing we want to do is actually just set up our first funnel. click here on create and i'm just going to name this funnel: heat protectant. so here i want to click show this funnel to all customers. since i only do have one upsell product. okay, now i'm going to choose the upsell product and basically what i'm going to be upselling is this heat protectant spray. now, the cool thing here is, if the customer actually does end up purchasing this product, you can offer them another upsell, and if they decline this product, then you can offer them a downsell. now, since i don't have any other products, i'm just going to keep it like this, but you can add products in here. now. next thing i want to do is click here on edi.

👀 What You NEED To Know Before Dropshipping

you know what, despite the several successful dropshipping case studies on this channel, i still occasionally get people leaving comments like drop shipping is dead, if it was ever properly alive to begin with. increasing e packet rate- it literally kills drop shipping. it's too late for this business. most businesses fail. i will never waste my time and money trying to start a business ever again, and if you're smart, you'll do the same thing. hmm, yeah, well, okay, obviously, i strongly disagree with those comments, because here's the thing: a lot of people will say things like drop shipping is dead or it's too late, or businesses don't work, and the reason why they're saying these things is because they are making several assumptions that are all wrong, and so, if you are looking to start a store, it's crucial, then, that you understand what these assumptions are before you start drop shipping so that, unlike these people, your store can be successful, because, no, it is not too late. one people won't buy from you. they'll just buy from amazon instead. but wait, sarah, you ask: why would anyone buy products from me if they can buy products directly from amazon themselves? now, it is absolutely true that if you head on over to amazon, that you will find lots of products that can be purchased directly from aliexpress, sitting on amazon's digital shelf as well. and, of course, if customers were to purchase your products on amazon, they would then get to take advantage of their prime two-day shipping. so how on earth could drop shippers successfully dropship these guitar coffee spoons with two to three week shipping via china's cheapest, fastest shipping option- a packet, when a customer could come and buy them on amazon with two-day shipping? i mean, come on, sarah, just think about it. amazon is only growing. in q3 2019, their product sales were up over 17 from the same time in 2018.. won't amazon steal away all of our sales? no, no, they will not. you see, here's the thing. there is some truth to these comments. amazon is arguably the better deal for usa citizens. it is better for the consumer to purchase the products on amazon. so if they figure out that the product that you are selling them is indeed on amazon for purchase, you can bet that amazon will take that sale away from you. but you know what? we literally don't care. and you know what? drop shippers never have the sorts of people who see a product and decide that they're going to research the absolute best deal, for it were never our customers in the first place. nope, it's the 44 of people that impulsively purchase products online that we are targeting and, of course, as shown by how millennials are even more prone to impulsive purchases, with 80 of them impulsively buying products, the overall percentage of impulse e-commerce purchases for us to target as drop shippers is only growing and growing. you see, successful drop shipping stores are built around that target customer, the type of customer that enjoys impulsively purchasing products. it also means that the successful drop shipping stores are usually built around selling products that spike an emotion in a customer that makes them think: i need to buy this right now. it's why this aliexpress dog caller has made hundreds of thousands of dollars. the advertising dropshippers used spike fear and dog owners pointing out how many dogs dying in car accidents each year from not being seen. that is why, when recently, i saw this comment from this viewer asking why their online store wasn't successful, i pretty much instantly knew that the store would be selling extremely boring products. and lo and behold, i was right. now, of course, this is actually a print on demand store, not a drop shipping store, but the exact same principle applies. why would somebody want to buy this hoodie when they can go to amazon and find cheaper hoodies and shirts with inspirational messages on there, because here is the reality. typing vision in a plain white circle is not exciting. so let's compare this hoodie to this hoodie. what is the difference between the two? well, the difference is that one hoodie is very boring and the other is extremely interesting, unique and unlike anything people are likely to have seen before, which is why this hoodie's facebook advertising campaign made so much money for the successful aliexpress dropshipping store. freaky pet. and, of course, if you're ever wondering, this exact same answer applies to the people that ask the question: why would customers not go directly to aliexpress themselves? well, again, it's because good aliexpress drop shippers sell products that trigger emotions on people and get them to impulsively buy their products, so that they never even think to go check if a product is on aliexpress, because they see and go. that's so amazing. i must buy one now. and, by the way, if you've learned something from this video and you would like to learn even more about starting a successful drop shipping store, then be sure to subscribe and click that little notification bell next to it so that you don't miss out on any of our videos. two, dropshipping is a scam. i just want to quickly address this because these comments are really dumb. you know, you might have notiked that earlier in this video i freely admitted that it would be a fast, superior financial choice for a customer to buy this hoodie on amazon with two day shipping for a fraction of the price compared to what they would pay for it on freaky pet. and so what do people say to that? oh, the customer can get it cheaper, elsewhere, quicker. that makes your store a scam. nope, it does not. number one: if it weren't for your facebook ad, the customer would never have known about that product that they really enjoyed getting in the first place. people really love this hoodie and we're really grateful that it was advertised to them and they bought it. you had to pay for that advertising to do that, which you pass on to the customer. amazon doesn't advertise products. customers have to find them themselves. and number two, as an entrepreneur, you are in no way obligated to offer your product for the lowest price. here are two coffee shops around the corner from my apartment. they are across the road from each other. i walked into coffee shop a and bought my favorite coffee, a long black, for three dollars- and yes, i know that overseas the phrase long black might conjure up some different thoughts, but here in new zealand, and over in australia too, a long black simply refers to pouring an espresso shot over 100 to 120 mls of boiling water to create a stronger version of an americano with creamer. next i went into coffee shop b and again order long black, but this time it cost four dollars- completely different prices for an extremely similar product. and you know what? coffee shop a's three dollar coffee was the best. would you say that coffee shop b is a scam for charging a higher price for a worse version of this coffee? no, you would not. pricing is entirely subjective and is actually determined by the customer, not you. you present the customer with the price and it is up to them to decide if that price is worth it or not. and at the end of the day, if freaky pet are able to create a marketing campaign that gets people to purchase their hoodie for a higher price while being entirely upfront about the shipping times, then they 100 deserve that sale. 3. drop shipping is saturated. perhaps the most bizarre of all the claims is that drop shipping is dead and it's over since. well, it's saturated. and the truth is when i see comments like this, it blows my mind, because this comment literally makes no sense. here is what market saturation literally is. it's when a product has been maximized in a market, in other words, when all of the people who would want that product have bought it already. and here is what drop shipping is. drop shipping is when a customer buys a product that you've listed in your store for a markup price. when they do, you go to the manufacturer and you purchase that one product for the wholesale price and then have the

How Long Does It Take To Build a SUCCESSFUL Shopify Business?

what's up guys, and welcome to today's video, where I want to tok about how much time you actually need to run a successful drop shipping business, so how much time it takes until you hit something that is six success. I felt like the the one of the most common reasons why people fail and get demotivated and, you know, stop pursuing the business is because they had entirely wrong expectations in terms of how long it takes to get successful, and I got a lot of messages from people that are saying things like: I've been trying this for two weeks, not been trying this for three weeks, though- and whenever I get into these Facebook groups, people are complaining that after spending like a hundred bucks and two weeks, they still don't have the sales that they thought they would get, and I feel like you first of all need to get the right expectation before you can pursue this business in a serious way, because there are so many gurus and you and videos- everything out there that proclaim that it's super easy and quick, that you can get the wrong expectation, and then you won't pursue it in the right way. so the first thing that you need to understand the most important thing is how long it takes before you get successful depends on how much money you have. so, in general, the higher your budget, the bigger your budget, the quicker you can expect results. why is this the case? well, it's pretty simple. if you have a lot of money, you can test more products, you can add more products. in general, you may be able to afford some VA. you may be able to, you know, add certain plugins that make your own make, make your life easier, and all this together basically gives you the gifts to the opportunity to make sales quicker. so it's easier to make sales quicker if you have a budget of like $10,000 compared to $500. on the other hand, that, of course, if you don't have that large budget, let's say you only after thousand dollars for everything, so for advertising for your store, for everything. in that case, of course, you need to spend more time on the business, because you know, you know you can invest time and you can and you can invest money. but of course, you need to invest at least one of those, and this is the case with the majority of people that are complaining. they usually have small budgets, they have limited budgets, but they they still expect some miracles within their budgets. so, let's say your budget is 500 or 1000 dollars in total, it means that your probably running come at campaigns for five, for ten dollars a day. right, because you want to have the opportunity to review your ads all the time and to check and optimize, versus just starting with fifty bucks, which will give you results quicker, but you also have you're also running on a higher risk because you cannot make changes all the time because after one day, fifty dollars are gone. basically. so this is super important and I would say that you need to try at least for probably three months is what I would say- before you can expect certain results realistikally. and I don't, you know, making the first sale is not something that I will call the results. if people come to come to me and they are like, hey, I my free sales, now I can, you know, I can teach you, or a ham at five sales, does anyone need help? this is to be honest. this is not a point where you can help others and this is not really a point where you had any sort of success, because five sales, three sales, even ten sales, can mean that that you just, you know, you hit one little, you were a little bit lucky, you were hit you, you, there was a one-hit wonder. you had a product that sold a few times. but when I say, you know, stiking to this until you're successful, this means, to me at least, that you had a higher figure income and especially that you had an income on the on an ongoing basis. so saying that I will pursue it until I'm successful means until you have, let's say, sales for two or three months in a row, or at least a very high amount of sales in the certain month. so, this being said, if you are questioning whether you are doing the right thing because you didn't make good amount of sales after one month, definitely stik to it. and, you know, even consider things like free traffic sources. I have a full video on free traffic sources. so, in case you ran out of budget but you still think that you have some potential, think about, you know, working with organic traffic, think about posting on Instagram, think about SEO. and also, if you think that you were onto something, you probably had some sales already. or you just have a very promising store but you don't have the budget, I don't know. you know, do some freelance work, get a if you have a job. at the same time, use that money that you learned there so that you can reinvest. I'm not saying that you should pour everything you have into this business, but if you feel like you were onto something and you were getting, you know you were seeing some results, but now you ran out of budget. think about whether you can freelance for other stores or freelance follow people, so that you can put parts of the money you earn back into the business and see where you would get if you would continue this way. but the main thing is here is to be realistik. like whether you decide to quit after two months or four months or six months doesn't really matter. like if you found that this is nothing for you or whatever, this is totally fine. but if you go in the business with the expectation of I have to succeed in two weeks because this will all the Guru's tell me, this will almost guarantee that you will fail, because you approach this whole thing in the wrong way and you will get demotivated all the time and things like that. so if you truly want to be successful, set yourself a realistik time horizon. like I said, three months is a minimum. of course, there are always those one and wonders people that make sales immediately. but this is definitely not normal and the more time you give it, the more you work on this you, the more you grow, the more or the easier and the more realistik it is that you will actually hit a point where you're getting to the sales that you want. and of course you know trainings and consulting, mentoring and all these kinds of things can kick-start the process and I'm not saying that you know they don't work in any way. of course I have my own training program, but it mean if you don't need this to be successful, so it is helpful if you have the budget, if you want to cut a little bit of time, if you want to get the results a little bit quicker. but if you run on like a $500 budget, don't invest like $400 of it into a training program so that you can only invest $100 in your budget. I have to be honest here. I mean I have, like I set my own training program. of course I want people to buy it, but I have to be realistik here. if you cannot really afford it and if you are left with pretty much nothing after you buy it, then Rapha invested in the business and learn about the things yourself and you know, do all these things yourself and figure them. figure them out while you go. if not, if you have the budget did, you can. if you can't afford that, then a training program can be a good decision because you you know you don't need that much time. you can avoid a lot of failure, you can avoid losing a lot of money, but, as I said, it depends on the individual case. so, if you like this general type of video right here, I just wanted to give you an overview on this whole business. if you like this video, please leave a like and please subscribe to this channel, because I will also, of course, post other straight forwards details, tips and strategies on how you can actually succeed in e-commerce. but I hope that this was a good overview so that you are not thinking that you are a failure just because you don't hit that $10,000 in sales in your first month. this being said, guys, I really hope you enjoyed it. thanks for watching and I will hopefully see you in the next video. bye mine.

Easiest Way To Start Dropshipping From Scratch (Exactly What I Did)

trying to start a dropshipping store can be overwhelming. with so many different steps and strategies, it's hard to even know where to start. so in this video, i'm going to share my exact strategy for starting a new drop shipping store from scratch, and in the last couple months, i've built a new store with this strategy, and that store has already done close to 900 000 in sales. so if i had to start over today, this is exactly what i would do. if you're new here, my name is jordan and i'm currently documenting the entire process of growing my online business with as much transparency as possible, so that i can lead by example and help you start your own online business this year. so if you're interested in starting your own online store and you want to follow my journey, make sure to subscribe for new videos every single friday. all right, let's get started. firstly, i want to show you some live results that i'm getting with this exact strategy. so it's around halfway through the day and i've already generated around 3 800 in sales on this store. the profit margin is pretty good as well. i've done almost fifteen hundred dollars in profit, which is almost a forty percent profit margin, and if we take a look at yesterday's stats, you can see i sold around sixty seven hundred dollars and made around eighteen hundred dollars in profit. i just wanted to prove to you that this is working right now. so you know it's worth your time to watch this whole video. so there are four main things that go into building a successful drop shipping store. the first one is your product. the second one is your store. the third is your marketing and how you get customers, and the fourth is running your business and shipping out your orders. now i'm gonna break down each of these one by one as simple as possible. so let's get started with products. so without a winning product, it's pretty much impossible to have success with drop shipping. thankfully, there are a ton of products out there that you can sell. every single week, new winning products pop up, so the opportunities are always fresh. there's really only three things that i look for when determining if a product is a winning product. the first thing is if the product has been recently trending on facebook and instagram. what i mean by trending is that there is a ad that is getting a ton of views, shares, comments and likes and people are going crazy for the product. this is a great sign that you can make money off of this product because people are already interested in it. as long as you do something a little bit better than the person that's already selling it, you can swoop right in, compete with them and make money selling that same product. this is exactly what i've done for every single one of my winning products and it's worked time and time again. the next thing i look for is mass appeal. my favorite type of products are the ones that can be sold to the masses. i don't love the extremely narrowed down products that only apply to a small set of people. yes, they will buy the product, but if we ever want to scale and build something big, we need something that we can sell to almost everybody. it's okay if it's a little narrow, like it's only for women or it's only for men, but the broader the better. the last thing i look for is good profit margins. what i consider to be good profit margins is being able to sell the product for three times the cost it takes to ship it out to the customer. so if the product costs you around 10 to send it to your customer, you want to be able to sell it for at least 30, and that's pretty much all i look for in a winning product. let me show you a live example of exactly what i'm toking about. okay, so this product is an absolute banger. basically, it is a garden privacy fence that you set up in your backyard. as you can see, this product was launched on march 8th of this year and they've already got over 70 000 likes on this post. if you check out the comments, people are going crazy for this. they love it, they really enjoy the product. but the people that are selling it aren't doing a good job and if we look at their video, it's not really that good. and then if we go to their website, it's the same thing. it's really not that good. this product has great profit margins as well. you can see that it cost around four dollars on the low end to ship to a customer and they're selling it for anywhere from 1999 all the way up to almost a hundred dollars per sale. so if you came in and made a slightly better video, a slightly better website, you could clean up off of this product and make a ton of money. so, like i said, that product is an absolute banger and a perfect example of a winning product. now, how do you find these products? the tried and true method that i've been using for years is simply just looking on your facebook and instagram feed. every single day, you're going to get targeted with ads for drop shipping products eventually, and every time you get targeted with one of these ads, you need to show facebook that you're interested. so you want to go to the ad, you want to like, you want to comment, you want to go to the website, you want to click add to cart and show facebook that you're trying to buy stuff like this. so they will start recommending you more products and your feed is just going to become the best product research tool that you have. that's my favorite method, but i also created a tool that automates this process. so if you want to check that out, click the link down below. alright, so step number one is finding a product that fits this criteria. so once you've got that product, now you've got to build a store. now there are a couple different types of stores that you could build. you could build a general store, which is a store that has a bunch of random products all around it. you could build a one product store, which is a store that only focuses on selling one main product, or you can build a hybrid store, which is what i recommend. building a hybrid store combines the benefit of a one product store and a general store. with a general store, you have freedom to test a bunch of products, and with a one product store you're limited, but you're gonna have a higher conversion rate and people are gonna trust you much more than a general store. with a hybrid store, you're creating the same branded feel that a one product store would have, but with the freedom to test a bunch of products. i think it's better if i just show you an example. so this is a sample store that i created. that would actually be perfect for the product i just showed you. the store is called flora flow. as you can see, it's pretty much focused entirely on home and garden based products. it has a nice branded design, it has a good logo, it's easy to browse and shop around and overall, it feels like a trustworthy site. i recently made a video on exactly how i built this store, so after you watch this one, feel free to check that out. the one tip i will give in this video is to model your store off of what's already working. this is not some brand new design i came up with. i just put my own little twist on what was already working. you don't have to reinvent the wheel. you just have to take what's working and add a little bit of your own sauce to it. so i would advise taking your product, building a store like this and filling it up with products that are similar to the one you're selling. here's another really good example of a hybrid store. this one is called arctik shirt and, as you can see, they sell a bunch of home decor products as well. they have the moon lamp, this kitchen set, they have bedding. they have all types of products, but the store is really nice, branded and feels extremely trustworthy. in my opinion, this is the best approach for beginners, so give it a try. next up, you need to get some traffic and customers to your website. personally, my favorite method for starting with a new store is facebook ads. it does cost a little bit of money to run ads on facebook, so i recommend that you have at least a couple hundred dollars.
