01:31.9 01:36.7 let's talk about setup setting up the ad
01:34.2 01:38.3 groups and all that stuff right so ad
01:36.7 01:39.8 group is very similar if you're coming
01:38.3 01:42.2 from facebook ad group is very similar
01:39.8 01:44.4 to adset and facebook platform ads that
01:42.2 01:46.6 are run on tiktok ads manager they
01:44.4 01:48.1 have three parts if you're new here i'm
01:46.6 01:49.8 gonna explain all those things uh we
01:48.1 01:52.1 have campaigns we have ad groups and
01:49.8 01:54.6 then we have ads a campaign can include
01:52.1 01:56.4 one or more ad groups after creating the
01:54.6 01:58.7 campaign you will need you will need to
01:56.4 02:01.0 set up your ad groups inside and then
01:58.7 02:02.4 you add your ads i'm gonna explain all
02:01.0 02:04.3 that stuff i just put it out there just
02:02.4 02:06.2 in case you guys are absolutely new and
02:04.3 02:08.2 you have no idea what tic toc ads are
02:06.2 02:10.3 i'm gonna explain everything all right
02:08.2 02:12.3 uh before we get started uh i'm gonna
02:10.3 02:14.2 i'm gonna kind of clarify this is just
02:12.3 02:16.1 testing with manual bidding it's a
02:14.2 02:17.7 little frustrating because it cannot
02:16.1 02:19.6 sometimes it doesn't spend your money
02:17.7 02:21.4 and you have to run the ads for multiple
02:19.6 02:23.3 days until you figure out if the product
02:21.4 02:25.0 is winning product or not but on a good
02:23.3 02:26.4 note uh it saves you a lot of money
02:25.0 02:27.8 because you're you're if you're not
02:26.4 02:29.1 running lowest cost when you're running
02:27.8 02:31.3 lowest cost it literally spends your
02:29.1 02:34.3 money real quick which i personally like
02:31.3 02:36.2 to do just because i like to test fast
02:34.3 02:37.5 um and find out if a product is winning
02:36.2 02:39.8 product or not it takes me literally a
02:37.5 02:41.8 couple hours to find out if a product is
02:39.8 02:43.4 a winning product or not but like i said
02:41.8 02:44.9 um not everybody comes in and they're
02:43.4 02:47.0 like oh i'm gonna spend thousands of
02:44.9 02:49.0 dollars on ads and this is the best way
02:47.0 02:50.4 to go about it the thing is when you do
02:49.0 02:52.7 manual betting you're technically
02:50.4 02:55.4 telling tik-tok i want you to get me
02:52.7 02:58.6 sales for the amount of bid like let's
02:55.4 03:01.4 say if you put your amount your target
02:58.6 03:03.5 uh cpa is 10 or your bid number is 10
03:01.4 03:04.6 you want tik-tok to get your sales for
03:03.5 03:06.5 under 10
03:04.6 03:09.7 if you can do that if the tiktok
03:06.5 03:12.3 platform is not able to give you cheap
03:09.7 03:14.7 sales it's not going to spend your money
03:12.3 03:16.6 that makes sense now that being said
03:14.7 03:18.7 that can also be frustrating for a lot
03:16.6 03:19.9 of people and just crazy because that's
03:18.7 03:21.6 that was the first method that i was
03:19.9 03:23.7 testing and i talked about it and i
03:21.6 03:25.2 would get so many messages about people
03:23.7 03:26.5 reaching out telling me that their ads
03:25.2 03:28.6 are not spending
03:26.5 03:30.6 it happens you know even with lowest
03:28.6 03:32.6 cost it happens but this is specifically
03:30.6 03:34.2 it can not not spend your money all
03:32.6 03:36.2 right now let's get into it let me tell
03:34.2 03:37.9 you exactly how i set up my campaigns my
03:36.2 03:39.3 ad groups and everything first of all if
03:37.9 03:40.9 you know me i like to test with three to
03:39.3 03:42.6 four creatives i don't like to just have
03:40.9 03:43.4 one creative i like to give the product
03:42.6 03:45.4 uh
03:43.4 03:46.9 the best chances of winning i even
03:45.4 03:48.9 sometimes test with 10 creatives and
03:46.9 03:50.3 then if you have a winning product maybe
03:48.9 03:52.1 two or three of those videos become a
03:50.3 03:53.4 winning uh creative
03:52.1 03:55.5 a lot of people believe in winning
03:53.4 03:57.5 products i believe in winning creatives
03:55.5 03:59.6 i know i say winning product but
03:57.5 04:01.7 technically you need the right creative
03:59.6 04:03.2 for the right product to become a
04:01.7 04:05.2 winning product
04:03.2 04:07.4 you know what i mean all right and i
04:05.2 04:10.1 like to create uh four to six ad groups
04:07.4 04:11.3 honestly i i personally do minimum six
04:10.1 04:13.8 but if you're just getting started and
04:11.3 04:15.6 it's confusing for you start with four i
04:13.8 04:17.5 like to do six sometimes i actually just
04:15.6 04:20.6 do 10 and then kind of play around with
04:17.5 04:22.3 a bit bit amount uh location i i do us
04:20.6 04:24.8 in canada sometimes i test these dip
04:22.3 04:26.7 separately i actually had a product i
04:24.8 04:28.1 never i used to test them separately in
04:26.7 04:30.0 the beginning but then i kind of stop
04:28.1 04:31.4 and get them together and now again i
04:30.0 04:33.4 test them separately because i noticed
04:31.4 04:35.4 some products actually sell much better
04:33.4 04:37.8 in canada and some products do much
04:35.4 04:39.4 better in u.s and the data is just
04:37.8 04:42.0 completely different when i test them
04:39.4 04:43.2 differently so it's kind of up to you
04:42.0 04:45.3 that doesn't mean that it's going to be
04:43.2 04:47.2 a winning product if you just if you
04:45.3 04:48.1 test it separately most of the time this
04:47.2 04:50.2 is just
04:48.1 04:52.3 to bring down your cpa
04:50.2 04:54.6 i put the budget for 40 don't freak out
04:52.3 04:56.6 we're not spending 40 in each ad group
04:54.6 04:58.3 uh the reason like i said we want to
04:56.6 05:01.7 have the budget high enough for tech
04:58.3 05:03.9 talks we wanted to spend uh and bid
05:01.7 05:06.2 again low and high enough to want to
05:03.9 05:08.2 spend a bit the target cost per purchase
05:06.2 05:11.0 or action or whatever you want to call
05:08.2 05:13.0 it um that's what it is i like to start
05:11.0 05:15.2 from eight dollars let's say the the
05:13.0 05:17.4 cheaper the product is you want to have
05:15.2 05:19.4 it as low as possible does that make
05:17.4 05:21.2 sense and then i let's say after a day
05:19.4 05:23.3 is not spending and that's why i said
05:21.2 05:25.0 it's a little bit frustrating because it
05:23.3 05:26.0 might not spend any money technically
05:25.0 05:27.5 you're not spending any money you're
05:26.0 05:29.1 just putting work in right that's why
05:27.5 05:31.8 it's such a low
05:29.1 05:34.2 uh budget strategy for
05:31.8 05:36.4 for testing tiktok ads and what are
05:34.2 05:38.8 you gonna do after if 24 hours if it's
05:36.4 05:40.3 not spending and you're gonna go and up
05:38.8 05:42.9 it by two dollars so you're gonna go
05:40.3 05:44.6 from eight to ten dollars and let's say
05:42.9 05:46.6 it's not spending never go to twelve the
05:44.6 05:49.0 maximum i would go is sixteen dollars
05:46.6 05:50.6 and i would just not uh if it's not
05:49.0 05:52.4 spending or if it's not getting a result
05:50.6 05:54.4 if you spend it's not getting any sales
05:52.4 05:56.2 i would shut it off it most likely that
05:54.4 05:57.9 product is not a winning product so with
05:56.2 05:59.8 bit testing you have to find the sweet
05:57.9 06:01.4 spot when setting your bid so it's like
05:59.8 06:03.1 that sweet spot that you have to find
06:01.4 06:04.7 that's again why i said it can be a
06:03.1 06:08.0 little bit frustrating for some people
06:04.7 06:09.8 um you know i call this a winning bid
06:08.0 06:11.2 you want to find a bit sweet spot i'm
06:09.8 06:13.4 going to show you right after this my
06:11.2 06:15.8 own ad accounts that how i set up my you
06:13.4 06:18.2 know manual biddings uh with tic tac uh
06:15.8 06:20.2 we need to split test the bid amount so
06:18.2 06:22.2 sometimes some of the ad groups um i
06:20.2 06:23.9 let's say i have sets at eight some of
06:22.2 06:26.3 them i do have ten and something i do at
06:23.9 06:27.9 twelve as long as i know that if we get
06:26.3 06:29.9 sales under twelve dollars i stay
06:27.9 06:31.4 profitable i honestly set up different
06:29.9 06:32.8 bids right
06:31.4 06:34.8 but you could start at eight with all of
06:32.8 06:37.1 them if you're scared and then slowly
06:34.8 06:39.0 increase it so basically we want our bit
06:37.1 06:42.0 to be as low as possible when it still
06:39.0 06:46.0 spends because tiktok is forced to
06:42.0 06:48.9 keep your cells uh your cpa under that
06:46.0 06:50.7 bid amount if that makes sense if your
06:48.9 06:52.6 bid is too small it won't spend the
06:50.7 06:54.9 money if it's too big it would spend
06:52.6 06:57.1 your money too fast okay so let's get
06:54.9 06:58.2 back on to my ad account accounts i'm
06:57.1 07:00.2 going to show you this is one of my
06:58.2 07:03.6 campaign i already opened it this is
07:00.2 07:07.4 just one campaign that i've had um uh we
07:03.6 07:11.2 spent 351 dollars in this one the cpc is
07:07.4 07:13.3 29 um cents which is pretty good cpc you
07:11.2 07:16.4 know it's cost per click we want it to
07:13.3 07:18.6 be as uh lower than one dollar and the
07:16.4 07:20.4 cpa is ten dollars which makes making
07:18.6 07:21.7 this product very profitable and you
07:20.4 07:23.4 guys can see that some of them are now
07:21.7 07:25.1 spending some that's another thing even
07:23.4 07:26.2 if you have the same amount of bid some
07:25.1 07:27.6 of them would spend some of them would
07:26.2 07:29.8 not spend that's why i like to have a
07:27.6 07:31.0 lot of ad groups and whatever that it
07:29.8 07:33.2 spends i know that it's going to be
07:31.0 07:35.5 profitable uh let's look at some of this
07:33.2 07:37.7 stuff since i have this manually set up
07:35.5 07:40.0 it doesn't track my
07:37.7 07:41.7 what is it called roas in here i have
07:40.0 07:43.5 another way of calculating it since i
07:41.7 07:44.7 have other data
07:43.5 07:45.9 we're gonna scroll to the right one
07:44.7 07:48.1 thing that happens with bit though
07:45.9 07:50.0 because you get really really cheap uh
07:48.1 07:51.8 clicks you're gonna have really bad
07:50.0 07:53.2 conversion rates like people are always
07:51.8 07:55.3 asking are you profitable because your
07:53.2 07:56.6 cumber your conversion rate is just bad
07:55.3 07:57.8 i don't know like it's just that's what
07:56.6 07:59.4 happens with manual bidding but it
07:57.8 08:00.9 doesn't matter because
07:59.4 08:03.5 you're profitable who cares if your
08:00.9 08:05.4 conversion rate is like one percent or
08:03.5 08:08.2 half a percent you're profitable you
08:05.4 08:10.4 know we're getting 10 costs um
08:08.2 08:12.4 per acquisition and
08:10.4 08:14.3 that's all matters so cpm here look at
08:12.4 08:16.1 the cpm look at these beautiful cpm so i
08:14.3 08:17.8 have the same product set up at the
08:16.1 08:19.9 lowest cost and the lowest cost is
08:17.8 08:22.2 actually ten dollars for the cpm cpm is
08:19.9 08:24.2 cost per thousand impressions and here
08:22.2 08:27.9 you see the average is 315 is pretty
08:24.2 08:29.4 good the ctr is 1.07 so this is dropping
08:27.9 08:31.4 because it was dying at that point
08:29.4 08:33.9 usually usually i know i tell everybody
08:31.4 08:35.6 all my students and everyone aim for 1.5
08:33.9 08:38.0 and higher that's usually in the
08:35.6 08:40.3 beginning of the winning product usually
08:38.0 08:41.9 after a while it just drops okay so
08:40.3 08:44.8 that's something to keep in mind
08:41.9 08:47.2 um so let's take a look at this um the
08:44.8 08:49.4 ones that are getting sales so we 12 and
08:47.2 08:51.7 13 were the sweet spot for this product
08:49.4 08:54.6 i started from eight whenever is in the
08:51.7 08:57.1 peak of the product selling usually that
08:54.6 08:58.9 if you set it low it would still spend
08:57.1 09:00.3 and you notice after a week or two it
08:58.9 09:02.0 would just not spend anymore you have to
09:00.3 09:02.7 kind of increase the bit bit a little
09:02.0 09:06.2 bit
09:02.7 09:07.2 so we went to 12 and 13 so what what we
09:06.2 09:09.0 started with and i like to have the
09:07.2 09:11.0 budget really really high you see 240
09:09.0 09:13.0 240 even though it's not spending all
09:11.0 09:14.9 the budget but whatever that is spending
09:13.0 09:16.4 is staying profitable if that makes
09:14.9 09:17.6 sense all right let's create a new
09:16.4 09:19.8 campaign i'm gonna walk you through
09:17.6 09:21.8 exactly what i do uh we're always always
09:19.8 09:23.1 if your ad account is warmed up and
09:21.8 09:25.6 spending money and is healthy and all
09:23.1 09:28.4 that stuff uh we're gonna always do
09:25.6 09:29.9 conversion for complete payment uh we're
09:28.4 09:31.3 gonna do campaign name we're gonna call
09:29.9 09:34.2 it i don't know
09:31.3 09:36.5 baby shoe
09:34.2 09:39.1 all right cool um and then we're gonna
09:36.5 09:41.4 go continue uh i like to do no targeting
09:39.1 09:42.8 for all my ad groups uh if you don't
09:41.4 09:44.2 know why i do this go watch my other
09:42.8 09:46.0 videos i do know targeting for
09:44.2 09:48.2 everything honestly it's gonna get you
09:46.0 09:50.2 better results it always performs much
09:48.2 09:52.7 better than if you get do any targeting
09:50.2 09:55.2 so that's what i do uh we're always
09:52.7 09:57.4 always always gonna do uh purchase not
09:55.2 09:59.6 purchase we're not on facebook uh we
09:57.4 10:01.3 always do complete payment
09:59.6 10:03.5 complete payment optimizing for complete
10:01.3 10:06.9 payment so we're gonna do

10:17.4 10:20.8 results so i don't really care i like
10:19.4 10:23.1 the automated creative unless you're
10:20.8 10:24.7 doing sparks ads it won't let you do
10:23.1 10:27.5 automatic payments like i said sometimes
10:24.7 10:29.3 i separate canada and united states but
10:27.5 10:31.3 in this case i'm not gonna separate them
10:29.3 10:33.8 i'm gonna put them together uh i like to
10:31.3 10:36.5 do 18 and over for a while i used to do
10:33.8 10:37.7 25 but now i do 18. i don't really care
10:36.5 10:39.0 about this sometimes i put english
10:37.7 10:40.3 sometimes i don't it doesn't make any
10:39.0 10:43.2 difference so i'm lazy and i'm gonna
10:40.3 10:45.0 leave it alone like that um sometimes
10:43.2 10:47.2 again i turn this on sometimes i don't
10:45.0 10:49.0 it does not make any difference in my
10:47.2 10:50.1 results the reason i say that i like to

12:28.8 12:31.9 video because tic tac contents are
12:30.4 12:33.4 completely different than facebook i
12:31.9 12:34.2 like to talk like

12:34.2 12:39.1 i am like using that product like if a
12:36.9 12:40.7 person is in their pro in the video and
12:39.1 12:42.6 be like oh these are the best curls i've
12:40.7 12:45.0 ever got or like let's say for example
12:42.6 12:47.2 if it's a you know hair curler or or my
12:45.0 12:49.0 baby loves these shoes or something like
12:47.2 12:50.4 that you know what i mean i don't stress
12:49.0 12:51.7 about it that much honestly it doesn't

13:17.2 13:21.6 three four times and then whenever you
13:19.5 13:23.8 submit everything and it's created i'll
13:21.6 13:26.6 change the bits so you can keep it at
13:23.8 13:29.0 eight and let all of them run for a day
13:26.6 13:31.2 see if it spends or you can just do
13:29.0 13:33.1 eight and some of them ten dollars some
13:31.2 13:35.0 of them twelve dollars that's like my
13:33.1 13:36.8 preferred method just because i can't
13:35.0 13:38.6 wait like i just it's just the waiting
13:36.8 13:39.7 game really makes me crazy
13:38.6 13:41.6 but
13:39.7 13:43.4 just to keep in mind that if your bid is
13:41.6 13:45.4 a little too high i don't i would never
13:43.4 13:47.2 ever go higher than 16
13:45.4 13:48.6 if it bit if the bid is too high you can
13:47.2 13:51.0 spend your money pretty quick so you got
13:48.6 13:53.5 to keep an eye on your account but most
13:51.0 13:55.7 likely you're safe about around 8 to 12
13:53.5 13:58.2 is safe um country to country is
13:55.7 13:59.8 different uh this is only for u.s and
13:58.2 14:02.7 canada there was one time that i set
