Hey guys, Yvonne here at evonmana.com. In this video, I want to show you how to create Google Shopping ads, which is an awesome ad format that is pretty targeted and has images. It looks something like this when you search for buy new shoes or buy research. These ads are great for dropshipping, e-commerce products, and even one-off products. They definitely draw more attention than regular search ads.

To create shopping ads, you need to have a Google Ads account and a merchant account. I'll show you how to set up both in this video. But before we dive in, don't forget to hit like and subscribe and hit the notification bell icon so you don't miss out on future videos.

So let's start with creating a Google Ads account. If you haven't done so already, go to ads.google.com and sign up. Once you're signed up, switch to expert mode by clicking on Switch to expert mode at the bottom of the page. This is important because we need expert mode to create shopping ads.

After switching to expert mode, click on Create an account without a campaign. This will allow us to integrate our merchant center with Google Ads. Fill in your basic contact information and set up your billing information if prompted. Once you're done, you'll have your Google Ads account set up.

Now, let's move on to creating a merchant account. Click on Tools and settings at the top of the page, then click on Google Merchant Center. This will take you to the official merchant site. Sign in using your Gmail account or click on Get started if you don't have one.

Fill in the blanks in the merchant center with your business name, country, time zone, and other relevant information. Make sure to select the appropriate options for your business, such as having an online store or a physical store. Agree to the terms and click on Create account to finish setting up your merchant account.

Once your merchant account is created, you'll need to verify your website and fill in any additional information required. This includes setting up tax and shipping details, which are essential for both paid shopping ads and free listings. You can find all the necessary options within the merchant center.

To set up shopping ads specifically, click on Shopping ads and then click on Get started. Fill in the required information, such as your website, shipping details, and any other relevant information. Make sure to follow the steps for shopping ads, as they are slightly different from free listings.

And that's it! You've now set up your Google Ads account and your merchant account. You're ready to start creating shopping ads and driving more attention to your products. Remember, this ad format works best for dropshipping, e-commerce products, and even one-off products.

Unfortunately, many people have not seen success with their Google Ads shopping campaigns, and this purely comes down to poor campaign setup. For success with Google Ads shopping campaigns, you need to make sure that you have the correct campaign settings. This is important for two reasons: firstly, so you can quickly see what is working and what isn't working in your campaign, and secondly, so you can optimize your campaign for better results.

Most Google Ads shopping campaign tutorials focus on linking your Google Merchant Center to your Google Ads account. While that is an important step, it's not the only one. In this article, we will focus on the correct campaign structure and settings that will help you achieve success with your Google Ads shopping campaign.

The first step is to set up your Google Merchant account, but since that is a basic step and many store management systems like Shopify and WooCommerce make it easy, we won't cover it in detail here. You can find relevant tutorials in the description below.

When it comes to setting up your Google Shopping campaign, it's crucial to have the correct campaign structure. Many campaigns fail because they have all the products in one single ad group. Instead, your shopping campaign should have multiple ad groups, with each ad group targeting one similar group of products. For example, if you're selling mobile phone accessories, you should have separate ad groups for iPhone cases, Samsung cases, iPhone charging docks, and Samsung charging docks. This structure allows you to quickly identify which ad groups and product groups are performing well and which ones need more optimization. It also simplifies optimization tasks like search term audits, negative keyword additions, and audience targeting.

Another important factor to consider is price sensitivity. Google Shopping campaigns display product prices, and if a competitor is selling the same or similar product for a lower price, your campaign may not see success. However, if someone clicks on your ad, you've already pre-qualified them with a price, increasing the chances of a conversion. This is why shopping campaigns usually have a lower click-through ratio but a higher conversion rate compared to standard search campaigns.

The biggest mistake I see with Google Shopping campaigns is the lack of account structure. Many campaigns have all the products in one ad group, which makes it difficult to track and optimize performance. Your shopping campaign should follow the same best practices for structure as your search campaigns. By having clear product groupings and individual ad groups for each product group, you can easily track performance and optimize your campaign for better results.

To set up your own Google Shopping campaign, follow these steps:

1. Click on the New Campaign button and choose the sales objective.

2. Make sure you have purchase goals set up in your account.

3. Select the standard shopping campaign (not smart shopping campaign).

4. Enter your campaign name and choose manual CPC bidding with optimization for conversions.

5. Set your daily budget.

6. Adjust campaign priority if you have multiple shopping campaigns.

7. Choose whether to include the search network or not.

8. Set your target locations.

9. Add start and end dates if needed.

10. Create your ad group with a specific product group.

11. Add your ad, making sure to follow Google's recommendations.

Hey guys, my name is Daryl and today in this video I'm going to show you step by step on how to set up the Google Merchant Center so you can display Google Shopping ads for your ecommerce or drop shipping website. The Google Merchant Center allows you to list your products from your ecommerce website on Google so people can see the picture, the price, the shipping, and also reviews about your products. This can lead to a lot more sales and you can also list as many products as you want. This is much better than the alternative Google AdWords because here people can't see the product, they can't see the price, they don't know all the details, and it's just a very poor way to promote your products. But with Google Display Shopping ads, you can show the product and the price, and a very clear image of the products.

Google Display Shopping ads are one of the most powerful ways on how to get more sales and traffic to your ecommerce or drop shipping website. So in this video, I'm gonna show you step by step on how to do it. Are you ready? Let's go!

Alright, so we're gonna set all this up in three simple steps:

Step 1: Create a Google Merchant account - it's free and anyone can make one.

Step 2: Configure the settings and upload your products onto Google.

Step 3: Create the ad so people can visually see your products.

Okay, so this right here is the Google Merchant Center, where we are going to upload all of our products and configure everything. Before I go any further, I have a video on how to make an ecommerce website with the number one best ecommerce theme for WordPress called Flatsome. If you're interested, I'll leave that in the description below. It's an amazing WordPress theme, super clean, and I think that people will be a little bit more encouraged to buy your products with this theme.

The first thing we'll do is go to the Google Merchant Center and click on Get Started. If you don't already have a Gmail account, you'll have to make a new one. Once you make a Gmail account and go through the verification process, it'll take you to this page. Just go ahead and follow the instructions.

Now, it's asking us what program best fits our objective. For this video, I'm just going to go through these two options because everyone out there on YouTube probably has a different goal for their store. So I'll select the option that displays our products for free and then select shopping ads. I'll click on Continue and then Create an account.

Now, this is your Google Merchant Center dashboard. We have two different tasks: setting up shopping ads and setting up shopping ads across Google. The difference between these two is that one is more passive and the other is more aggressive. But setting up both is good because it will display your products passively throughout Google and target people to click on your ads. We'll first set up the passive option.

If you can't find it, click on the gear icon and then click on Settings. This will bring you to the same page. Here, we need to provide our website URL to connect our website with Google Merchant Center. So go ahead and give your website URL and click on Save.

Next, we need to verify and claim our website. I'll show you how to connect it with WordPress. Go to the Theme Editor under Appearance. Every theme has a theme editor, so don't worry if yours is different. Click on Theme Header and paste the meta from Google Merchant Center. Update the profile and your website will be connected.

Now, go back to Google Services and click on Set up shipping to configure your shipping and tax settings. This is optional, but I'll walk you through it. Click on the plus icon to set up shipping and fill in the necessary details. You can set up your shipping rates and handling time according to your business needs. Don't forget to add holiday shipping cut-off dates if applicable.

That's it! You've successfully set up the Google Merchant Center and configured your shipping settings. You can now start uploading your products and creating ads to showcase them to potential customers. Good luck with your ecommerce or drop shipping website!

Google Shopping Campaign Setup & Settings

In this video, I'm going to show you how to set up your Google Shopping campaign in your Google Ads account. Before we get started, make sure you have already set up your product feed and your Google Merchant Center account. If you haven't done this yet, check out the videos in the description for step-by-step instructions.

Alright, let's dive in! First, open up your Google Ads account. If you haven't created one yet, head over to ads.google.com and follow the steps to create an account. I have a video that shows you exactly how to do this, so check out the link below.

Once you're in your Google Ads dashboard, go to All campaigns and click on Campaigns to view all your campaigns. Now, click on the New campaign button.

On the next page, you'll be asked for the objective of your campaign. Since you're following my videos, we're going to set up our campaign without a specific goal. I'll show you exactly what to do. Click on Shopping for the campaign type.

Next, you'll be asked about your conversion goals. If you haven't set up conversion tracking yet, I highly recommend doing that now. Check out my video on how to set this up with Analytics for your Shopify store. Link is in the description.

Now, make sure your Google Merchant Center is connected to Google Ads and that your feed is coming through. Select the country where you'll be selling your products. For example, if you're targeting the US, make sure to select the US.

Here, you'll see the options for a Smart Shopping campaign or a Standard campaign. We're going to set up a Standard campaign, which is what I recommend in my free Google Shopping course. Check out those videos for more details, but for now, let's click on Standard campaign and then click Continue.

You'll now be asked to name your campaign. There's no right or wrong way to do this, as long as it's descriptive enough for you to remember what the campaign is for. In this example, let's set up a campaign for men's wallets. I like to include my initials, the campaign type, and the products being sold in the name.

Moving on, we have additional settings that are not commonly used. The inventory filter allows you to limit which products are accessible to the campaign. For beginners, I recommend skipping this for now.

Next, we see the option for local products. If you have a local product feed, you can include it in the campaign here. For most of you, this won't be relevant, so let's skip it.

Campaign URL options are more advanced and related to tracking. We can skip this for now and adjust it later if needed.

Now, let's talk about bidding. You have the option to manually set and adjust your bids or use automated bidding strategies. For beginners, I recommend starting with manual CPC bidding. You can also enable Enhanced CPC, which allows Google to adjust your bids based on the likelihood of a sale.

If you want Google to optimize for conversions or conversion value, you can choose those options. For now, let's stick with manual CPC and enable Enhanced CPC.

Moving on to the budget, I recommend starting with a budget of $30-$50 per day. This can be adjusted later as you optimize your campaigns.

Campaign priority is an advanced strategy that is not necessary for beginners. Keep it as default for now.

In the targeting section, you'll see additional networks that Google has you appearing in by default. Most professionals choose to uncheck these boxes, as the performance and return are often low compared to showing your ads on Google.

And that's it! You've set up your Google Shopping campaign in your Google Ads account. Remember to optimize your campaign and adjust your settings as needed. Good luck!

If you want to sell your products online successfully, a Google shopping campaign is crucial for your online marketing strategy. However, to achieve success in your Google shopping campaigns, it's essential to use the correct structure. Without the correct structure, you won't be able to identify which products are profitable and which ones are not. Additionally, having the correct structure allows you to optimize your campaign effectively.

In many cases, only a small percentage of your products, around 20-30%, will be profitable. Most of the products will not yield profits in the Google shopping platform. That's why having the right structure is crucial. It enables you to control budgets, bidding strategies, and optimization targeting for different products. Different product categories may perform well at different times of the year. For example, swimwear may be more popular leading into summer, while winter clothes may be more popular during colder months. These two audiences, even though they are for the same brand, can be quite different. Proper segmentation and structure are necessary for your Google shopping campaigns.

Google has integrated them into performance Max campaigns. So, when we refer to a Google shopping campaign, we are talking about standard shopping campaigns.

Before setting up your shopping campaign, it's important to note that you need to have a Google Merchant Center account with a shopping feed setup. This account should be linked to your Google Ads account. Setting up a Google Merchant Center account is relatively simple, especially if you're using platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce. These platforms have one-click integrations that set up your Google Merchant Center account automatically. I will provide links in the description for setting up your Google Merchant Center account as well as additional training for Shopify and WooCommerce.

Now, let's discuss the correct structure for your Google shopping campaign. It's recommended to have separate campaigns for each top-level product category. Underneath each product category campaign, you can have different subcategories or individual products, leading to their respective product pages. For instance, if you run an online clothing store, you would have separate campaigns for men's clothes, women's clothes, men's shoes, and women's shoes. Under the men's clothes campaign, you would have separate ad groups for t-shirts and jeans, and for women's clothes, you would have ad groups for dresses and skirts. This structure allows you to control your spending and optimization based on the different product categories and margins.

Now that you understand the importance of a structured and segmented Google shopping campaign, let's move on to the step-by-step process of setting up your campaign. Please note that I will go through the process quickly, but I will provide a link to download my Google shopping campaign setup guide, which includes detailed screenshots of each step.

To set up your Google shopping campaign, log into your Google Ads account. If you don't have an account, go to ads.google.com and click on Get Started. If you already have an account, simply sign in.

Once you're inside your Google Ads dashboard, click on New Campaign. Choose the Sales option to indicate that you're setting up the campaign to drive sales. Select Shopping as the campaign type. This will automatically link your Google Merchant Center account.

Next, choose Standard Shopping instead of Performance Max.

Now, it's time to name your campaign. It's essential to use a clear naming convention that makes sense for your internal use. For example, if you're targeting women's clothes, you can name your campaign Women's Clothes Shopping.

In the Additional Settings section, you have the option to add filtered products. However, I recommend doing this after publishing the campaign for easier management.

Finally, click on Continue to proceed with the setup process.
