00:00:32	00:00:35	incognito browser there's actually
00:00:34	00:00:37	software out there that will will you
00:00:35	00:00:38	know weigh the different marketplaces
00:00:37	00:00:40	and weigh the demand on marketplaces for
00:00:38	00:00:41	certain designs then obviously bring
00:00:40	00:00:43	them over to etsy there's a number of
00:00:41	00:00:44	ways to approach it but in today's video

00:01:04	00:01:07	can just go ahead and start creating
00:01:05	00:01:09	designs and then slap them up on etsy
00:01:07	00:01:11	and if they're successful then you know
00:01:09	00:01:12	everything's pretty much automated after
00:01:11	00:01:14	that right because we're gonna use the

00:01:16	00:01:20	they're gonna handle everything for you
00:01:18	00:01:21	right you upload your design once you're
00:01:20	00:01:24	done creating it i'm gonna show you all

00:01:24	00:01:28	then obviously stores your design it
00:01:26	00:01:29	integrates in the back end of etsy for
00:01:28	00:01:32	you so as soon as you get an order for
00:01:29	00:01:33	that design and that product on etsy
00:01:32	00:01:36	printful will then grab that person's
00:01:33	00:01:38	order right for that product grab their
00:01:36	00:01:40	address and then create the print on
00:01:38	00:01:42	demand design and ship it out to that
00:01:40	00:01:44	person and also input the tracking
00:01:42	00:01:46	number on etsy for you so you don't have
00:01:44	00:01:47	to do anything and that's why i say it's

00:02:34	00:02:39	obviously have demand on on etsy but

00:02:39	00:02:43	there then you can go ahead and create a
00:02:41	00:02:45	similar design you don't want to copy it
00:02:43	00:02:47	you know exactly okay you don't want to
00:02:45	00:02:49	copy it exactly but once you create a
00:02:47	00:02:51	similar design put your own spin on it
00:02:49	00:02:53	then you put it up on etsy with improved
00:02:51	00:02:55	seo and an improved listing and then it
00:02:53	00:02:56	just sits there and potentially earns
00:02:55	00:02:59	sales for you and it doesn't cost you
00:02:56	00:03:01	any money minus the 20 cents to create
00:02:59	00:03:02	the listing typically when you find a
00:03:01	00:03:04	design that looks promising what you
00:03:02	00:03:06	want to do is you want to take it to an
00:03:04	00:03:07	incognito browser on etsy so we're just
00:03:06	00:03:09	going to pull up a different browser
00:03:07	00:03:11	we're going to etsy.com or you can just
00:03:09	00:03:13	go incognito in your normal browser and
00:03:11	00:03:15	you want to go like i'm thinking so this
00:03:13	00:03:17	is clearly going to be because that's
00:03:15	00:03:19	what the the design was right like i'm
00:03:17	00:03:21	thinking so you want to go as broad as
00:03:19	00:03:24	possible and see what other designs are
00:03:21	00:03:25	up there see if it's a a flooded
00:03:24	00:03:28	marketplace for that type of design see
00:03:25	00:03:29	if there's a lot of over saturation on
00:03:28	00:03:31	that design already and if that is the
00:03:29	00:03:32	case then you don't want to create that
00:03:31	00:03:34	sign ideally you're looking for
00:03:32	00:03:36	something that's selling well already on
00:03:34	00:03:38	etsy or selling well on another platform
00:03:36	00:03:40	where there's not a lot of competition
00:03:38	00:03:42	on etsy and that's where you want to get
00:03:40	00:03:43	in again don't copy because that's where
00:03:42	00:03:45	you're going to run into like ip
00:03:43	00:03:46	complaints especially don't copy like
00:03:45	00:03:48	any brands as well like even if you see

00:03:48	00:03:51	common sense should tell you stay away

00:03:51	00:03:54	not trying to replicate like the adidas

00:04:43	00:04:46	you can go ahead and use adobe photoshop
00:04:45	00:04:48	all right so we're going to create an
00:04:46	00:04:53	adobe photoshop uh design right here you
00:04:48	00:04:55	want custom dimensions of 4500 by 5400
00:04:53	00:04:57	for a t-shirt those are the best uh
00:04:55	00:04:59	dimensions for a specific t-shirt so i
00:04:57	00:05:00	would just go to google and type in like
00:04:59	00:05:03	i'm thinking and find like a logo like
00:05:00	00:05:04	that or maybe like a loading logo like
00:05:03	00:05:07	waiting to load or something like that
00:05:04	00:05:09	or you can even go to other websites
00:05:07	00:05:11	like pixels or pixabay or any other
00:05:09	00:05:13	website that offers royalty-free
00:05:11	00:05:15	pictures so i already actually have a
00:05:13	00:05:17	slight logo here and for this example
00:05:15	00:05:18	right here in this first one we're just
00:05:17	00:05:20	going to create a white t-shirt because
00:05:18	00:05:22	everybody else has a black t-shirt as
00:05:20	00:05:24	you can see with the i'm thinking so
00:05:22	00:05:26	instead i'm just going to create a white
00:05:24	00:05:27	t-shirt and in the next example we're
00:05:26	00:05:28	going to create a multi-colored t-shirt
00:05:27	00:05:30	so i'm going to show you how to actually
00:05:28	00:05:33	create a png design that you can put on
00:05:30	00:05:34	top of any color but for this example
00:05:33	00:05:35	the first one we're just going to go

00:05:59	00:06:03	designs as well and you'd be surprised
00:06:01	00:06:04	like sometimes like when i first started
00:06:03	00:06:06	this and i was creating a bunch of
00:06:04	00:06:08	designs like super quickly some of the
00:06:06	00:06:10	designs like i would put like literally
00:06:08	00:06:12	like 30 minutes to 45 minutes in
00:06:10	00:06:13	creating this really in-depth cool
00:06:12	00:06:15	looking design and spend a lot of time
00:06:13	00:06:18	on it tweaking everything finding good
00:06:15	00:06:20	pictures cropping them out like doing
00:06:18	00:06:22	everything and it would never sell and
00:06:20	00:06:24	some designs literally were just words
00:06:22	00:06:26	on an actual sheet and i uploaded them
00:06:24	00:06:27	to a t-shirt and those would get
00:06:26	00:06:30	traction so just keep that in mind
00:06:27	00:06:32	sometimes even stupid designs might sell
00:06:30	00:06:33	now that we have this this design and
00:06:32	00:06:34	keep in mind this is just a white
00:06:33	00:06:36	t-shirt what we're going to do is we're
00:06:34	00:06:38	going to save it always save all your
00:06:36	00:06:39	designs in a folder so you can go back
00:06:38	00:06:41	and show etsy that you actually did
00:06:39	00:06:42	design them if they ever ask okay now
00:06:41	00:06:45	the next thing you want to do is you
00:06:42	00:06:47	want to go to uh printful now printful
00:06:45	00:06:49	is a website that like i said in the
00:06:47	00:06:50	beginning is going to
00:06:49	00:06:52	store all your designs they're also
00:06:50	00:06:53	going to store all your products because
00:06:52	00:06:55	you can connect printful to the back end
00:06:53	00:06:57	of etsy there are other youtube videos
00:06:55	00:06:57	out there that show that and how to do
00:06:57	00:06:59	that
00:06:57	00:07:01	super easily
00:06:59	00:07:02	and so once you're actually connected to
00:07:01	00:07:04	etsy which is very easy to do then you
00:07:02	00:07:06	can go through all the printful
00:07:04	00:07:07	templates and then upload your design to
00:07:06	00:07:10	whatever template you wanted so i could
00:07:07	00:07:11	put i could upload this to a stainless
00:07:10	00:07:13	steel water bottle if i wanted i could
00:07:11	00:07:15	put this on a mug i could put this on a
00:07:13	00:07:16	phone case i could put this on all the
00:07:15	00:07:17	above in this specific example we're
00:07:16	00:07:20	just going to go through and we're going
00:07:17	00:07:22	to put this on a t-shirt
00:07:20	00:07:23	so we're going to go to t-shirt
00:07:22	00:07:25	you can even search in the search bar

00:07:25	00:07:29	and i typically go
00:07:27	00:07:31	usually on the lower end so i can mark
00:07:29	00:07:32	mine up a little bit but you can

00:07:32	00:07:35	judgment if you want to go in between i
00:07:34	00:07:37	wouldn't recommend going with a premium
00:07:35	00:07:38	one because it's really hard especially
00:07:37	00:07:40	when you're a starter and you're just
00:07:38	00:07:41	getting into this to sell something at
00:07:40	00:07:43	such a high markup when you don't have
00:07:41	00:07:45	enough social proof and your your
00:07:43	00:07:46	products aren't ranking high enough on
00:07:45	00:07:48	the platform so i would go for one of
00:07:46	00:07:50	the cheaper versions of this obviously
00:07:48	00:07:52	this gildan one's good you can go this
00:07:50	00:07:54	one right here which is um i think this
00:07:52	00:07:56	is haynes or one of them is haynes um
00:07:54	00:07:57	we're gonna go gilding because it's the
00:07:56	00:07:59	cheapest one and then we'll be able to
00:07:57	00:08:01	mark it up obviously for you know a
00:07:59	00:08:03	decent percentage or we can even list it
00:08:01	00:08:05	lower to get sales and rank our account
00:08:03	00:08:06	and rank this actual listing and then
00:08:05	00:08:09	get reviews and social proof and then as
00:08:06	00:08:11	it ranks then we can increase the price
00:08:09	00:08:12	in the future okay so also keep that in
00:08:11	00:08:14	mind as well
00:08:12	00:08:15	so now that we're here we want to make
00:08:14	00:08:17	sure that we select all the colors and
00:08:15	00:08:19	all the sizes that we want to offer so
