00:01:02 00:01:06 obviously create your Amazon seller
00:01:05 00:01:08 account now when it comes to actually
00:01:06 00:01:10 creating your account you have two
00:01:08 00:01:12 different cellar plans that you can
00:01:10 00:01:14 choose from you have the individual
00:01:12 00:01:17 cellar plan and the professional so then
00:01:14 00:01:18 the individual there is no monthly fee
00:01:17 00:01:21 that you do have to pay although you
00:01:18 00:01:24 have to pay a per item fee every time to
00:01:21 00:01:27 sell a product which is $0.99 and the
00:01:24 00:01:30 professional seller plan is $40 per
00:01:27 00:01:32 month and there is no fee for each item
00:01:30 00:01:34 that you sow so if you're starting to
00:01:32 00:01:37 get to the point where you're selling 30
00:01:34 00:01:38 to 40 or even more products per month
00:01:37 00:01:40 and you're still on the individual plan
00:01:38 00:01:42 it only makes sense to upgrade to the
00:01:40 00:01:44 professional silo plan which is the one
00:01:42 00:01:46 that I recommend and if you start paying
00:01:44 00:01:48 $40 a month hopefully that should
00:01:46 00:01:50 motivate you to get off your butt and
00:01:48 00:01:52 start finding books and products to
00:01:50 00:01:54 resell on Amazon now within the first
00:01:52 00:01:55 step once you sign up for your account
00:01:54 00:01:57 you then need to find a way they were
00:01:55 00:01:59 able to scan books and analyze the data
00:01:57 00:02:00 once you scan it
00:01:59 00:02:02 once you create Amazon seller account
00:02:00 00:02:04 you were then have access to the Amazon
00:02:02 00:02:06 seller app which is a hundred percent

00:02:22 00:02:26 the sales rank the better so you want to
00:02:24 00:02:28 kind of stik under a 1 million sales
00:02:26 00:02:30 rank isn't what I recommend Oh
00:02:28 00:02:32 step two you're gonna need a little bit
00:02:30 00:02:35 of side cash in order to purchase
00:02:32 00:02:37 inventory to sell on Amazon now when it
00:02:35 00:02:38 comes to purchasing books you're
00:02:37 00:02:41 extremely extremely in luck because
00:02:38 00:02:42 people really don't know the value of
00:02:41 00:02:44 their books and often you can pick them
00:02:42 00:02:46 up for anywhere from a quarter to one
00:02:44 00:02:48 dollar for two dollars at the highest
00:02:46 00:02:50 price that I usually pay for books now
00:02:48 00:02:51 sometimes they go to different thrift
00:02:50 00:02:52 stores and stuff like that and they'll
00:02:51 00:02:54 be a little bit more expensive and all
00:02:52 00:02:56 depends on how quickly you think that
00:02:54 00:02:59 book can sell and how much money and
00:02:56 00:03:01 profit you can make now I'm gonna go
00:02:59 00:03:03 back to sales ranking going a little bit
00:03:01 00:03:06 more in depth of what exactly that means
00:03:03 00:03:08 so every time you scan a book it's gonna
00:03:06 00:03:10 have a best sellers rank and that sales
00:03:08 00:03:12 rank extends for how often and how well
00:03:10 00:03:14 that product sells obviously like I
00:03:12 00:03:16 mentioned earlier the lower the sales
00:03:14 00:03:17 rank for that product the more often
00:03:16 00:03:20 it's selling and when it comes to books
00:03:17 00:03:22 there's like 15 16 million different
00:03:20 00:03:25 books on Amazon now I like to stik
00:03:22 00:03:27 under the 1 million sales rate because
00:03:25 00:03:29 that means it's selling is selling a
00:03:27 00:03:30 decent amount it also depends on the
00:03:29 00:03:33 price of the book so I mean if you're
00:03:30 00:03:35 looking to make five six dollars trying
00:03:33 00:03:37 to sell a twelve thirteen dollar book I
00:03:35 00:03:38 would like to stay anywhere under a six
00:03:37 00:03:40 hundred five hundred thousand sales
00:03:38 00:03:42 ranks that it's gonna hopefully sell
00:03:40 00:03:44 thin that month or the next month or the
00:03:42 00:03:45 third month and their good thing about
00:03:44 00:03:49 ebooks is they're also extremely
00:03:45 00:03:50 extremely cheap to keep stored in the
00:03:49 00:03:52 Amazon warehouse it's gonna be like I
00:03:50 00:03:54 think a small paperback was like two to
00:03:52 00:03:56 three cents per month so maybe a larger
00:03:54 00:03:58 hardcover is gonna be a four or five six
00:03:56 00:04:00 cents a month I mean pennies on the
00:03:58 00:04:02 dollar store two books so I mean if you
00:04:00 00:04:03 buy a book for a dollar and you're
00:04:02 00:04:05 trying to sell it for twenty dollars and
00:04:03 00:04:08 it takes six months to sell I mean
00:04:05 00:04:10 you're gonna be paying like twelve the
00:04:08 00:04:13 20 cents 25 cents depending on how big
00:04:10 00:04:15 the book is to store that item in once
00:04:13 00:04:17 it sells you're gonna make like fourteen
00:04:15 00:04:19 fifteen back in profit all just from
00:04:17 00:04:21 it's basically just a waiting game just
00:04:19 00:04:24 giving up as many books as you can now
00:04:21 00:04:26 the question is can you go over 1mill in
00:04:24 00:04:27 sales rank yes I mean I've sold books
00:04:26 00:04:29 all the way up slightly I think
00:04:27 00:04:31 four or five million cells ranked and
00:04:29 00:04:34 I've purchased books that were six or
00:04:31 00:04:37 seven million cells right now those six
00:04:34 00:04:39 or so seven million ranked books had a
00:04:37 00:04:40 price range of like one hundred fifty to
00:04:39 00:04:43 five hundred dollars so those are the
00:04:40 00:04:45 books that you maybe sell once every
00:04:43 00:04:47 twelve months once every two years but
00:04:45 00:04:49 if you can buy a book for $1 and it has
00:04:47 00:04:51 like a 4 million sales rank see you
00:04:49 00:04:53 don't know if it's gonna sell the day it
00:04:51 00:04:55 checks in the day it scans in the Amazon
00:04:53 00:04:57 or it's gonna take two years or so
00:04:55 00:04:59 honestly if it's a small in a book and
00:04:57 00:05:00 it's pennies on the dollar it doesn't
00:04:59 00:05:01 matter how long it takes itself you buy
00:05:00 00:05:04 it for a dollar and sell it two years
00:05:01 00:05:06 later five hundred bucks you're gonna be
00:05:04 00:05:08 glad that you let it sit there for two
00:05:06 00:05:11 years so the third step is obviously
00:05:08 00:05:13 gonna be sourcing the books to sell now
00:05:11 00:05:14 there are a bunch of different places
00:05:13 00:05:16 like I mentioned earlier that you can
00:05:14 00:05:18 actually source these books the most
00:05:16 00:05:21 popular ones being garage sales thrift
00:05:18 00:05:23 stores book sales which you can find on
00:05:21 00:05:25 book sale finder com garage sales
00:05:23 00:05:27 usually you can just drive around or you
00:05:25 00:05:29 can find them on garage sale finder com
00:05:27 00:05:31 already mentioned book sales thrift
00:05:29 00:05:32 stores like the Goodwill's the saver so
00:05:31 00:05:34 you can find this everywhere and also
00:05:32 00:05:37 check around your house your friends
00:05:34 00:05:39 house as well you never know what items
00:05:37 00:05:40 you don't think having a valued to
00:05:39 00:05:43 actually sell for twenty thirty fifty
00:05:40 00:05:44 dollars trust me it happens all the time
00:05:43 00:05:47 so make sure you check those places out
00:05:44 00:05:49 also within step three once you found a
00:05:47 00:05:51 couple different areas that you can
00:05:49 00:05:53 continuously source books for a profit
00:05:51 00:05:56 from you then need to understand where
00:05:53 00:05:59 the condition of that book comes into
00:05:56 00:06:00 play so on Amazon you have I think five
00:05:59 00:06:04 different conditions you can sell your
00:06:00 00:06:06 book in acceptable good very good like
00:06:04 00:06:09 new in new so five different options you
00:06:06 00:06:11 can sell your book now it's all kind of
00:06:09 00:06:13 based off of the condition of the book
00:06:11 00:06:15 so if you have stains if you have ribs
00:06:13 00:06:17 make sure you qualify that to each one
00:06:15 00:06:19 so if it's a pretty crappy book and
00:06:17 00:06:20 you're like who would ever want this
00:06:19 00:06:22 you're probably gonna want it is
00:06:20 00:06:24 acceptable but if that book is maybe
00:06:22 00:06:26 been used two or three times
00:06:24 00:06:28 it's spotless you can try selling it's
00:06:26 00:06:31 like new or if you think the book is a
00:06:28 00:06:33 new condition sold is new it all depends
00:06:31 00:06:36 and also based off the competition
00:06:33 00:06:37 you're also gonna be able to uh price
00:06:36 00:06:40 your item higher so obviously the better
00:06:37 00:06:41 condition of that book the higher price
00:06:40 00:06:44 you're gonna be able to solve up
00:06:41 00:06:46 four so step four is gonna be actually
00:06:44 00:06:48 creating your shipment so once you build
00:06:46 00:06:50 up a nice stok of anywhere from twenty
00:06:48 00:06:52 to thirty books so you can be able to
00:06:50 00:06:54 profitably sell on Amazon it's now about
00:06:52 00:06:55 creating the shipment so once you've
00:06:54 00:06:57 created your shipment you're then gonna
00:06:55 00:06:59 have to label the products so that
00:06:57 00:07:02 amazon knows what that product is and
00:06:59 00:07:04 obviously which one is sell for now it's
00:07:02 00:07:06 a lot easier than most people think okay
00:07:04 00:07:08 you have two different options when it
00:07:06 00:07:11 comes to actually labeling the product
00:07:08 00:07:13 you can label it yourself or you can
00:07:11 00:07:14 have Amazon label it so if you were to
00:07:13 00:07:17 have Amazon label it they're gonna
00:07:14 00:07:19 charge you 20 cents per per unit per
00:07:17 00:07:21 book whatever you're sending to Amazon
00:07:19 00:07:22 and you just pack them all in the Box
00:07:21 00:07:24 send them to Amazon Amazon will label
00:07:22 00:07:26 them for you and then put them back for
00:07:24 00:07:28 sell in Amazon but if you're doing a
00:07:26 00:07:30 larger quantity and you want to save
00:07:28 00:07:32 some money for it so if you're doing
00:07:30 00:07:34 like hundred books 200 books you can
00:07:32 00:07:36 actually just label them yourselves all
00:07:34 00:07:38 you need is a printer in some thirty up
00:07:36 00:07:40 labels which you can get on Amazon you
00:07:38 00:07:42 get like a thousand individual labels
00:07:40 00:07:44 for like ten dollars on Amazon order
00:07:42 00:07:47 them two days shaving your house boom
00:07:44 00:07:48 print out the label contents on the
00:07:47 00:07:49 labels paste it off and put it on the
00:07:48 00:07:52 back of the book and you're good to go
00:07:49 00:07:53 so now that you've correctly labeled
00:07:52 00:07:56 your products and ready to send them to
00:07:53 00:07:58 Amazon it all depends on the shipment
00:07:56 00:07:59 plan that you have selected now there
00:07:58 00:08:02 are two different options in your
00:07:59 00:08:03 shipment settings wind sending products
00:08:02 00:08:05 to Amazon the one that I recommend is
00:08:03 00:08:07 the inventory placement the option that
00:08:05 00:08:10 you can send everything to one warehouse
00:08:07 00:08:12 it makes it a lot easier for instance if
00:08:10 00:08:13 you have like twenty to thirty books you
00:08:12 00:08:15 can fit all those in one box you're
00:08:13 00:08:16 gonna save a little bit more on shipping
00:08:15 00:08:19 now don't get me wrong
00:08:16 00:08:21 the shipping discount that you get from
00:08:19 00:08:24 UPS FedEx whatever carrier that you
00:08:21 00:08:26 select has an extreme extreme discount
00:08:24 00:08:29 from Amazon because Amazon is just doing
00:08:26 00:08:30 a crazy amount of volume through those
00:08:29 00:08:32 carriers so don't really worry about
00:08:30 00:08:35 that I usually see anywhere from thirty
00:08:32 00:08:37 to thirty five cents per pound so it's
00:08:35 00:08:40 gonna cost me around I don't know 20
00:08:37 00:08:41 cents to around 30 cents per book which
00:08:40 00:08:43 is actually pretty good sin that from
00:08:41 00:08:46 your house to Amazon and then pay those
00:08:43 00:08:48 really really cheap storage fees every
00:08:46 00:08:51 month for the product now the fifth step
00:08:48 00:08:53 honestly is just to stay consistent with
00:08:51 00:08:55 your business keep sourcing books keep
00:08:53 00:08:57 sending shipments to em
00:08:55 00:08:59 keep managing your active listings
00:08:57 00:09:00 checking the prices making sure if you
00:08:59 00:09:02 want to be the lowest price in that
00:09:00 00:09:04 first sale you make sure you have the
00:09:02 00:09:05 lowest price if you want to kind of wait
00:09:04 00:09:07 a little bit longer you wait a couple
00:09:05 00:09:09 months try to extract a couple extra
00:09:07 00:09:11 dollars for that listing wait a little
00:09:09 00:09:13 bit longer it's all up to you just make
00:09:11 00:09:16 sure you keep up the process and you
00:09:13 00:09:18 will reach that hundred dollars a day
00:09:16 00:09:21 range and beyond guys I mean I've had
00:09:18 00:09:22 some crazy dog crazy crazy days it all
00:09:21 00:09:23 depends on the time of the year
00:09:22 00:09:26 obviously if you're going out there lots
00:09:23 00:09:28 of textbooks and stuff when the new
00:09:26 00:09:29 semesters the new school seasons are
00:09:28 00:09:31 starting you're gonna see a nice spike
00:09:29 00:09:33 in sales so that's just something to
00:09:31 00:09:35 look out for and books honestly guys are
00:09:33 00:09:38 like the easiest business to start you
00:09:35 00:09:39 don't really need much money to purchase
00:09:38 00:09:42 them and I usually purchase books like a
00:09:39 00:09:43 dollar two dollars max sometimes they
00:09:42 00:09:45 even get them for 50 cents it all
00:09:43 00:09:46 depends on their children's book their
00:09:45 00:09:48 big book large book just make sure you
00:09:46 00:09:50 source from different locations as well
00:09:48 00:09:52 I personally recommend you go to book
00:09:50 00:09:54 self finder calm select your state and
00:09:52 00:09:56 go around your city and try to find the
00:09:54 00:09:57 sales that are around those weekends and
00:09:56 00:10:00 just go out there and find as many
00:09:57 00:10:02 profitable books as you can get that
00:10:00 00:10:05 shipment ready send up to Amazon and
00:10:02 00:10:07 make that money while you sleep also if
