00:00:14 00:00:18 electronics are great items to sell on
00:00:16 00:00:19 Amazon for a few different reasons one
00:00:18 00:00:21 of the reasons being you can usually
00:00:19 00:00:24 store some pretty cheaply from you know
00:00:21 00:00:25 thrift stores garage sales and maybe
00:00:24 00:00:27 your offer up or Craigslist anywhere
00:00:25 00:00:29 from I'd say around ten to thirty
00:00:27 00:00:31 dollars and usually when it comes to
00:00:29 00:00:33 selling electronics you're able to pick
00:00:31 00:00:35 out some really really high price high
00:00:33 00:00:37 margin high profit items it usually will
00:00:35 00:00:39 sell anywhere from two to three hundred
00:00:37 00:00:41 dollars so in this video I'll be showing
00:00:39 00:00:43 a few different locations that you can
00:00:41 00:00:46 go and source these different
00:00:43 00:00:47 electronics what exact electronics you
00:00:46 00:00:50 should be looking for you know DVD
00:00:47 00:00:51 players and VCR players CD changes what
00:00:50 00:00:54 electronics you should be looking for as
00:00:51 00:00:56 well as how you can quickly scale your
00:00:54 00:00:58 business to three thousand dollars per
00:00:56 00:01:00 month and beyond so when it comes to
00:00:58 00:01:03 buying and reselling electronics on
00:01:00 00:01:05 Amazon you need to understand what items
00:01:03 00:01:06 you should be looking for now as you can
00:01:05 00:01:09 see on here there's already a few items
00:01:06 00:01:13 you know from you know printers I'd say
00:01:09 00:01:14 CD changers DVD players I mean anything
00:01:13 00:01:16 that you could possibly sell in Amazon
00:01:14 00:01:18 that's an electronic is something that
00:01:16 00:01:20 you could possibly be finding at you
00:01:18 00:01:22 know Goodwill's garage sales I mean
00:01:20 00:01:24 there's tons and tons of times I'm a
00:01:22 00:01:27 nice old printers I've sold I think I've
00:01:24 00:01:29 sold the projector before one time you
00:01:27 00:01:31 know I've sold some keyboards before I'm
00:01:29 00:01:33 not sure if that's electronic or not I
00:01:31 00:01:37 think it is you know I sold some cameras
00:01:33 00:01:40 a computer or two and a ton of a ton of
00:01:37 00:01:42 you know DVD players surprisingly VCRs
00:01:40 00:01:44 and CD changers as well so now that you
00:01:42 00:01:46 have a better understanding of you know
00:01:44 00:01:48 what sort of items you should be looking
00:01:46 00:01:49 for now it comes to the poor actually
00:01:48 00:01:51 gonna go to different places and start
00:01:49 00:01:54 sourcing and for a lot of people usually
00:01:51 00:01:55 confuse they don't really know where to
00:01:54 00:01:57 source they only know a few locations
00:01:55 00:02:00 well there's tons of places that you can
00:01:57 00:02:01 source profitable electronics from the
00:02:00 00:02:03 first being garage sales now there are a
00:02:01 00:02:05 few different ways you can find garage
00:02:03 00:02:07 sales obviously you can go and you know
00:02:05 00:02:09 you can drive around and try to find
00:02:07 00:02:11 signs on the side of the road or you can
00:02:09 00:02:13 kind of make a map or a game plan before
00:02:11 00:02:15 you believe your house using
00:02:13 00:02:17 garage-sale finder dot-com website out
00:02:15 00:02:20 there just type in your city or your zip
00:02:17 00:02:23 code and once you've typed in basically
00:02:20 00:02:25 for that upcoming weekend it's gonna
00:02:23 00:02:27 show you all the sales you know like
00:02:25 00:02:30 within that area so obviously and I'm
00:02:27 00:02:31 recording this on a Tuesday so there's
00:02:30 00:02:33 actually not going to be you know too
00:02:31 00:02:34 many sales ready for that next week and
00:02:33 00:02:36 they usually start listing them around
00:02:34 00:02:38 mainly around Thursday or maybe some on
00:02:36 00:02:41 Wednesday as well but you know you can
00:02:38 00:02:42 find a few sale listen for instance this
00:02:41 00:02:44 is what its gonna look like you know
00:02:42 00:02:47 it's gonna have like a little flag right
00:02:44 00:02:48 here you know you can click on it and
00:02:47 00:02:50 it'll bring up some different
00:02:48 00:02:53 information you know what exactly is at
00:02:50 00:02:54 the garage sale things like that you
00:02:53 00:02:56 know you can get a brief description you
00:02:54 00:02:58 know if you're looking for books are you
00:02:56 00:03:01 looking for you know small appliances
00:02:58 00:03:03 you know receivers anything like that
00:03:01 00:03:05 electronics wise you can look and garage
00:03:03 00:03:07 sales are a great place to find items
00:03:05 00:03:09 another place is gonna be you know your
00:03:07 00:03:11 offer up in your Craigslist which are
00:03:09 00:03:13 basically you know your your local buy
00:03:11 00:03:15 buy and sell websites you know where you
00:03:13 00:03:16 can go and you know prices are
00:03:15 00:03:19 negotiable also I didn't mention that
00:03:16 00:03:21 about um garage sales I mean you find
00:03:19 00:03:22 items out these sales and if they're
00:03:21 00:03:24 wanting you know fifteen or twenty bucks
00:03:22 00:03:27 for it I mean you just shoot him an
00:03:24 00:03:28 offer uh you know you can negotiate and
00:03:27 00:03:30 try to get that price down as low as you
00:03:28 00:03:32 can and offer ups another great place as
00:03:30 00:03:35 well I mean you can sort it by
00:03:32 00:03:36 electronics so I mean if you want to go
00:03:35 00:03:38 in and you know sort of my electronic
00:03:36 00:03:40 and see all the newly list electronics
00:03:38 00:03:42 see if there's anything you know that
00:03:40 00:03:44 catches your eye you know you want to go
00:03:42 00:03:46 and research back on Amazon see if you
00:03:44 00:03:48 got possibly be profitable now some
00:03:46 00:03:49 other great places of source electronics
00:03:48 00:03:52 from are gonna be your local thrift
00:03:49 00:03:54 store so you know your goodwill and your
00:03:52 00:03:55 Salvation Army are gonna be some more
00:03:54 00:03:57 the popular ones but there's also you
00:03:55 00:03:59 know some smaller stores you know some
00:03:57 00:04:01 different you know like mom-and-pop
00:03:59 00:04:03 shops you know those are some great
00:04:01 00:04:05 places as a source as well and you know
00:04:03 00:04:07 prices aren't really negotiable at these
00:04:05 00:04:10 stores but still a great thing about
00:04:07 00:04:12 them is within the store you're able to
00:04:10 00:04:13 you know test each item so you're able
00:04:12 00:04:15 to go and make sure all the components
00:04:13 00:04:17 of the electronic work make sure you
00:04:15 00:04:18 know you know the ejection button works
00:04:17 00:04:20 you know all the different buttons you
00:04:18 00:04:21 know the plugins the sound and
00:04:20 00:04:24 everything works like that before you
00:04:21 00:04:25 actually go and purchase it and you know
00:04:24 00:04:27 the last place I'd recommend you source
00:04:25 00:04:28 from
00:04:27 00:04:30 not limiting you to just you know these
00:04:28 00:04:33 five or six but these are probably the
00:04:30 00:04:35 top five or six I recommend but eBay so
00:04:33 00:04:37 for instance you know let's just say you
00:04:35 00:04:39 went to you know a thrift store or
00:04:37 00:04:41 garage sale or offer up and you know you
00:04:39 00:04:43 found this you know the certain money
00:04:41 00:04:45 you found like a Panasonic and then the
00:04:43 00:04:48 certain model number you know you bought
00:04:45 00:04:50 it for $20 and you sold it for 250 on
00:04:48 00:04:52 Amazon so what you can do is you can add
00:04:50 00:04:54 that certain brand name and model number
00:04:52 00:04:55 to you know like a list you have on
00:04:54 00:04:56 google dogs or something like that
00:04:55 00:04:58 just keep the history of what you
00:04:56 00:05:00 purchased that product for you know it's
00:04:58 00:05:02 fine that you should be looking for what
00:05:00 00:05:05 you can do on eBay because eBay you have
00:05:02 00:05:07 access to you know everyone in the world
00:05:05 00:05:08 that could be possibly selling that item
00:05:07 00:05:10 and you know maybe once a month you come
00:05:08 00:05:12 in and you just go through your whole
00:05:10 00:05:13 list that you have on Google so you know
00:05:12 00:05:15 you're gonna type in you're gonna type
00:05:13 00:05:16 in Panasonic and that certain model
00:05:15 00:05:19 number you're gonna see if any new
00:05:16 00:05:21 sellers have listed that certain model
00:05:19 00:05:23 and then you can possibly see if you can
00:05:21 00:05:24 you know negotiate maybe send them an
00:05:23 00:05:26 offer and see if you can get that
00:05:24 00:05:28 product purchase that product have them
00:05:26 00:05:29 ship it directly to you so you know you
00:05:28 00:05:31 don't have to leave your house don't to
00:05:29 00:05:33 go you know go a garage so I'm gonna go
00:05:31 00:05:35 to a thrift store that seller will
00:05:33 00:05:37 literally send that brand name that
00:05:35 00:05:38 model directly to you to your house you
00:05:37 00:05:40 know and you've already sold it on
00:05:38 00:05:42 Amazon so you know it's gonna sell and
00:05:40 00:05:43 then you just send it back to Amazon and
00:05:42 00:05:46 wait for it to sell so that's kind of a
00:05:43 00:05:47 great way to you know scale your
00:05:46 00:05:49 business so you can go to this garage
00:05:47 00:05:50 sales and know thrift stores and keep
00:05:49 00:05:52 checking me and keep finding electronics
00:05:50 00:05:53 there but if you really want to scale
00:05:52 00:05:55 you need to find a way where you can
00:05:53 00:05:57 consistently you know find them quickly
00:05:55 00:06:00 and find them like you know throughout
00:05:57 00:06:01 the year so that's gonna be a great way
00:06:00 00:06:03 to you know really scale your business
00:06:01 00:06:05 really instead of you know going garage
00:06:03 00:06:06 selling I'm not even having to leave
00:06:05 00:06:08 your house have them shipped directly to
00:06:06 00:06:10 your house you know make a big shipment
00:06:08 00:06:12 and ship them back to Amazon so now that
00:06:10 00:06:13 you have a better understanding if you
00:06:12 00:06:15 know what I'm you should be looking for
00:06:13 00:06:17 what electronics you could properly be
00:06:15 00:06:19 resale and now you know where to source
00:06:17 00:06:22 them if it be garage sales you know
00:06:19 00:06:24 thrift stores um eBay or any other
00:06:22 00:06:26 websites the next step is the research
00:06:24 00:06:28 process so once you've gone up you know
00:06:26 00:06:30 to a garage so you've gone to a thrift
00:06:28 00:06:32 store and you're looking at ten
00:06:30 00:06:34 electronics and you want to see if any
00:06:32 00:06:36 of these are profitable it's gonna come
00:06:34 00:06:37 down to you being able to you know type
00:06:36 00:06:39 in the brand name type in that you know
00:06:37 00:06:40 model number of that product to see if
00:06:39 00:06:41 it's profitable
00:06:40 00:06:43 and there's a few different ways you can
00:06:41 00:06:45 do this but I highly recommend you just
00:06:43 00:06:47 use the Amazon seller app it's free if
00:06:45 00:06:50 you have an amazon seller account and
00:06:47 00:06:51 once you're in the app I need to do is
00:06:50 00:06:53 hit the scan feature in the top right
00:06:51 00:06:55 corner and it's gonna basically bring
00:06:53 00:06:57 your a QR scanner out you can either
00:06:55 00:06:59 scan you know the barcode of an item for
00:06:57 00:07:01 instance you know on the back of this
00:06:59 00:07:04 there's gonna be a bar code you can scan
00:07:01 00:07:05 the barcode on that box and the Amazon
00:07:04 00:07:07 seller app is gonna bring down that
00:07:05 00:07:08 exact product listing you know it's
00:07:07 00:07:10 going to show you the sales ring for
00:07:08 00:07:11 that product and for those who don't
00:07:10 00:07:14 know what the sales rep represents and
00:07:11 00:07:16 Bray percents you know how often that
00:07:14 00:07:18 product is selling on Amazon so the
00:07:16 00:07:19 lower the sales rate of the more often
00:07:18 00:07:22 is selling so you want to be looking for
00:07:19 00:07:23 a really really low sales ring when it
00:07:22 00:07:25 comes to electronics I recommend you
00:07:23 00:07:27 stay under like a hundred thousand for
00:07:25 00:07:28 you know quick sale but if it's really
00:07:27 00:07:31 really profitable and you can possibly
00:07:28 00:07:33 like you know 100 150 200 dollars profit
00:07:31 00:07:35 on you can sit on it for a couple months
00:07:33 00:07:36 you know pick up maybe 50 cents to a
00:07:35 00:07:38 dollar in storage fees and just wait a
00:07:36 00:07:40 little bit longer for it so that's
00:07:38 00:07:42 really all up to you but once it pulls
00:07:40 00:07:44 down the listing you're also gonna be
00:07:42 00:07:45 able to see all the offers for those
00:07:44 00:07:47 products you know you'll be able to see
00:07:45 00:07:49 the merchant offers and the FBA offers
00:07:47 00:07:52 remember you're an FBA seller so you're
00:07:49 00:07:53 gonna be competing mainly with the FBA
00:07:52 00:07:55 offers because those are the offers that
00:07:53 00:07:57 are going to contain the you know the
00:07:55 00:07:58 free two-day prime shipping for all the
00:07:57 00:08:01 prime members out there so make sure
00:07:58 00:08:03 your pricing yours competitively to the
00:08:01 00:08:06 current FBA offers not the merchant
00:08:03 00:08:07 sellers and you know if the item doesn't
00:08:06 00:08:09 have a barcode you know for instance you
00:08:07 00:08:11 know you come up to a printer like this
00:08:09 00:08:12 there's no barcode on there just you
00:08:11 00:08:14 know to scan cuz it's not in its
00:08:12 00:08:15 original packaging it's what you're
00:08:14 00:08:18 gonna do is basically you're gonna type
00:08:15 00:08:20 in you know the brand name of that
00:08:18 00:08:22 product so this is samsung and then
00:08:20 00:08:26 you're gonna find the model number looks
00:08:22 00:08:28 like HP Deskjet you know three five to
00:08:26 00:08:30 one I think I can't really see right now
00:08:28 00:08:33 but you're gonna type in you know the
00:08:30 00:08:35 brand name and the model number back on
00:08:33 00:08:37 to the Amazon seller app or you can even
00:08:35 00:08:39 do it on Amazon as well either one works
00:08:37 00:08:41 and just go through and see the pricing
00:08:39 00:08:43 you know see if you can possibly you
00:08:41 00:08:45 know make some money but I usually I
00:08:43 00:08:47 really like doing it you know on the app
00:08:45 00:08:48 because you know first off it's from
00:08:47 00:08:50 your mobile phone so you can really do
00:08:48 00:08:51 it with one hand or two hands you can do
00:08:50 00:08:52 it on the go you don't the care you know
00:08:51 00:08:53 a giant computer with you or anything
00:08:52 00:08:55 like
00:08:53 00:08:57 that it's gonna bring up you know a page
00:08:55 00:08:59 like this you know it's got the title
00:08:57 00:09:01 the sales rank picture of the product
00:08:59 00:09:03 then it's gonna have the offers remember
00:09:01 00:09:05 you're gonna be competing with the FBA
00:09:03 00:09:07 offers not these offers these are the
00:09:05 00:09:08 merchant sellers this is Amazon you
00:09:07 00:09:11 usually don't have electronics in stok
00:09:08 00:09:13 especially if it's used that you'll be
00:09:11 00:09:16 competing with the FB offers and what
00:09:13 00:09:18 you can do is you know you can use the
00:09:16 00:09:19 calculator within the Amazon seller app
00:09:18 00:09:23 so you just hit this arrow right here
00:09:19 00:09:26 and unfortunate to show you I'll also
00:09:23 00:09:28 link this link this exact page in the
00:09:26 00:09:30 description of this YouTube video and if
00:09:28 00:09:32 I don't someone comment below and remind

00:09:54 00:09:57 amount and the fees are gonna be this

00:10:08 00:10:12 research I actually want to show you a

00:10:13 00:10:18 really really extremely profitable model
00:10:16 00:10:20 so for instance we're just going to go

00:10:39 00:10:46 copy that now you can just come back to
00:10:42 00:10:48 Amazon and just paste it in there and
00:10:46 00:10:50 search and then it's gonna come up with
00:10:48 00:10:53 the listing for this printer now there's
00:10:50 00:10:56 two main cartridges for it so here's the
00:10:53 00:10:59 printer I see you see a $399 price point
00:10:56 00:11:00 which is pretty high so we'll come over
00:10:59 00:11:03 here and we'll look at all the offers
00:11:00 00:11:04 for this product now something that
00:11:03 00:11:06 should be catching your eyes
00:11:04 00:11:08 none of these have like a little
00:11:06 00:11:10 I'm stiker around them which means none
00:11:08 00:11:12 of these are FBA sellers these are all
00:11:10 00:11:14 merchant fulfilled stars now you can see
00:11:12 00:11:18 there's two sellers for you know around
00:11:14 00:11:20 $180 totally using good condition now
00:11:18 00:11:21 you're an FBI you know you have you're
00:11:20 00:11:23 gonna have the prime benefits you're
00:11:21 00:11:24 gonna have the benefits filled with you
00:11:23 00:11:26 know price higher than these merchant
00:11:24 00:11:28 fulfilled items because you know people
00:11:26 00:11:31 were impatient you know people will pay
00:11:28 00:11:33 extra you know 30 40 50 $100 extra just
00:11:31 00:11:35 you know for the two day prime
00:11:33 00:11:36 because you know people need stuff and
00:11:35 00:11:38 you know they're impatient and they
00:11:36 00:11:39 don't want to buy from these other you
00:11:38 00:11:41 know random third-party sellers they
00:11:39 00:11:42 want to buy from you know Amazon they
00:11:41 00:11:45 want the free two-day shipping so a
00:11:42 00:11:48 product like this they have it for you
00:11:45 00:11:49 know $60 now obviously that's negotiable
00:11:48 00:11:51 you could always just give them an offer
00:11:49 00:11:53 see if you get it for maybe around 30 or
00:11:51 00:11:55 40 something like that so let's just say
00:11:53 00:11:57 I mean you can negotiate with the
00:11:55 00:11:58 supplier I mean I mean not the supplier
00:11:57 00:12:00 but this person and maybe you can get
00:11:58 00:12:02 this down to you know forty five dollars
00:12:00 00:12:05 so you're by Acosta's you know forty
00:12:02 00:12:07 five dollars and you know these are the
00:12:05 00:12:09 lowest prices you know 180 total well
00:12:07 00:12:12 I'd say I would price this at least
00:12:09 00:12:14 around 230 to 240 you know with because
00:12:12 00:12:16 you know I'm selling prime and you know
00:12:14 00:12:19 the condition looks really good on this
00:12:16 00:12:20 I mean lightly used you could sell this
00:12:19 00:12:22 you know very good maybe like new
00:12:20 00:12:25 condition if it's like really really
00:12:22 00:12:27 good so easily easily you could sell it
00:12:25 00:12:29 for you know 200 to 210 dollars and you
00:12:27 00:12:31 know selling something for $210 you know
00:12:29 00:12:33 it's kind of big the thing about
00:12:31 00:12:35 electronics is you know the profits are
00:12:33 00:12:36 gonna be really big but it's also kind
00:12:35 00:12:38 of a hassle because it's bigger you know
00:12:36 00:12:40 it's gonna be it like I don't know maybe
00:12:38 00:12:42 a foot by like another 10 or probably
00:12:40 00:12:44 like a foot by foot and they're gonna be
00:12:42 00:12:46 pretty heavy so I mean is it worth your
00:12:44 00:12:47 time to go you know take an extra 10 or
00:12:46 00:12:50 15 minutes on your day and package one
00:12:47 00:12:53 up if it's gonna make you know 100 150
00:12:50 00:12:54 200 profit so that's a quick example
00:12:53 00:12:57 right there let's see if I can find
00:12:54 00:12:59 another one and that's a relatively
00:12:57 00:13:01 small print or two I'm you know here's a
00:12:59 00:13:04 bigger one kind of more of an odd shape
00:13:01 00:13:06 you know a brother brothers or is a
00:13:04 00:13:08 really good printer brand let's go ahead
00:13:06 00:13:10 and look this one up they want $54 for
00:13:08 00:13:14 this one once again that price can be
00:13:10 00:13:19 negotiated down let's see
00:13:14 00:13:20 I want a 54 for it and see the lowest
00:13:19 00:13:24 price looks
00:13:20 00:13:26 the 124 words seems really low six
00:13:24 00:13:29 basically $55 shipping so the price
00:13:26 00:13:31 point is you know around $180 again you
00:13:29 00:13:33 know then it jumps all the way up to 300
00:13:31 00:13:35 from another seller so you know if
00:13:33 00:13:37 you're worried about the sellers price
00:13:35 00:13:39 going too low you can just wait for this
00:13:37 00:13:41 seller to sell out you know pricier is
00:13:39 00:13:43 around 300 350 because remember you're
00:13:41 00:13:46 selling FBA having prime shipping so you
00:13:43 00:13:48 can easily sell this for around at least
00:13:46 00:13:50 350 to probably $400 if you sit on it
00:13:48 00:13:52 and even if you do if it takes a couple
00:13:50 00:13:54 month to sell even if it is a bigger
00:13:52 00:13:56 item I mean you're gonna be spending
00:13:54 00:13:58 maybe maybe over the course of you know
00:13:56 00:14:00 five to six months maybe a couple
00:13:58 00:14:02 dollars in storage fees depending on you
00:14:00 00:14:05 know how much space the item takes up
00:14:02 00:14:07 and how heavy it is so even if you spend
00:14:05 00:14:09 like five dollars in storage fees or
