You're going to create a pixel of your own and implement it onto your own website. This is fairly straightforward, and you'll get a custom piece of code. If you're with Shopify, for instance, you can instantly insert the code into the backend. Give it a couple of hours to propagate, and then we're on to the fun stuff.

So, what is the pixel? If you don't already know, it's basically a 1x1 pixel that sits on your website and tracks data that comes through to the website. It's going to be really important to optimize your Snapchat ads later down the track, so be sure that you have this implemented.

The next thing you're going to do is click Create Ads. You're going to have two options: Instant Create and Advance. Today, we're going to go with Instant Create because we can produce results with it quickly. It's a really quick way to set up winning ads. With Advance Create, it's more in-depth and for people who are already familiar with the platform or paid ads.

When you click Instant Create, you have three advertising goals: website visits, app installs, and app visits. For this video, we're going to choose website visits because that's most relevant for e-commerce businesses.

Now, you want to create something that is very short and sharp, around 15 to 30 seconds max. Make sure it looks personable and organic.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to create your Snapchat ad:

1. Head to ads.snapchat.com and set up your new ad account.

2. Click on Manage Ads and go to Snap Pixel. Create and implement your own pixel onto your website.

3. Click on Create Ads and choose Instant Create.

4. Select the advertising goal of website visits.

2. Start by logging out of your current account and connecting to a VPN for added security.

3. Open Snapchat in a new private window to avoid any cookies or tracking.

4. Sign up for a new account using a different email address that you've never used before on Snapchat. Let's call it Test Ad Account 420.

5. Make sure not to use any identifying information from your previous account, such as your legal name or phone number.

6. When filling in your business details, use a different organization address than before.

7. Add a new payment method that is not the same as the one you used before. If your previous account was using your business credit card, you'll need to find another way to pay.

8. Finally, when creating your advertisement, use a new website URL. It's a good idea to buy a new domain and redirect it to your main website domain. Snapchat doesn't catch on to this trick, so you'll be in the clear.
