Hey, I don't look too great, but I wanted to record this quick video on how to do some audience research/customer research when advertising on Facebook. This goes for e-commerce, local lead generation, online marketing, and just about everything.

I'm going to do an example for the e-commerce niche, and the product I'm going to select is wine. If you're selling anything related to wine, you can go to Audience Insights on the Facebook Ads Manager.

Now, you just click the three arrows and look for Audience Insights, or it may already be there. This tool gives you some really useful data that you can use to target your audience more effectively.

Here's how you can use Audience Insights to do customer research for your wine product:

1. Go to Location and select United States.

2. Choose an age range and gender. For this example, we'll go with 25-65 years old and women.

3. Under Interests, type in wine. This will show you the demographics of people who like wine on Facebook.

4. You can also search for specific wine brands or manufacturers. For this example, we'll search for the top 10 wine brands and add them to our list.

5. Look for other pages that people who like wine also like. This can give you more ideas for targeting your audience.
