00:01:18 00:01:21 buys near you
00:01:19 00:01:23 using brick seek so i'm going to save
00:01:21 00:01:25 the online arbitrage for another video
00:01:23 00:01:26 because they're kind of similar
00:01:25 00:01:28 but they are different okay so i'm gonna
00:01:26 00:01:30 share what i've been doing lately that's
00:01:28 00:01:30 really really been working wonders for
00:01:30 00:01:32 me
00:01:30 00:01:33 and keep in mind too when you actually
00:01:32 00:01:36 do buy these products
00:01:33 00:01:38 a lot of people use brick seek so the
00:01:36 00:01:40 bsr or the best seller rank
00:01:38 00:01:41 can tank pretty quickly so it's
00:01:40 00:01:43 important to keep that in mind when
00:01:41 00:01:44 you're actually buying these products
00:01:43 00:01:46 now one of the best things about buying
00:01:44 00:01:48 products like this
00:01:46 00:01:50 is you're getting uh you know items and
00:01:48 00:01:51 listings when you check them on amazon
00:01:50 00:01:52 obviously like i'm about to show you
00:01:51 00:01:54 here in a second
00:01:52 00:01:55 that have really really high sales
00:01:54 00:01:57 velocities and low
00:01:55 00:01:59 best seller ranks okay so even though
00:01:57 00:01:59 the best seller rank can tank a little
00:01:59 00:02:01 bit
00:01:59 00:02:02 or you can get into a pricing battle
00:02:01 00:02:04 initially sometimes
00:02:02 00:02:06 if you wait on a product you can always
00:02:04 00:02:08 flip it for a profit usually
00:02:06 00:02:09 because like i said the listing it has
00:02:08 00:02:10 high sales velocity
00:02:09 00:02:12 or in that other case where you get into
00:02:10 00:02:14 a price battle either
00:02:12 00:02:15 there there might be you know five
00:02:14 00:02:16 sellers on the listing or there might be
00:02:15 00:02:18 50.
00:02:16 00:02:19 and usually when you're doing online
00:02:18 00:02:20 arbitrage the way that i teach it in a
00:02:19 00:02:22 lot of my videos
00:02:20 00:02:24 those are listings that you want to stay
00:02:22 00:02:25 away from but because these listings are
00:02:24 00:02:26 so
00:02:25 00:02:28 you know kind of have high sales
00:02:26 00:02:28 velocity and the best seller rank is so
00:02:28 00:02:31 low
00:02:28 00:02:32 you can actually afford to if the if
00:02:31 00:02:34 it's for example selling 50
00:02:32 00:02:35 sales a day on some of these listings or
00:02:34 00:02:36 you know 20 sales a day on some of these
00:02:35 00:02:38 listings
00:02:36 00:02:41 and there's 50 sellers well then you
00:02:38 00:02:43 don't need to actually steal the buy box
00:02:41 00:02:45 and drop your price because other people
00:02:43 00:02:46 have repricers as do i
00:02:45 00:02:48 and you know you might use a repricer
00:02:46 00:02:51 whether that's you know a repricing
00:02:48 00:02:53 website or service out outside of amazon
00:02:51 00:02:54 or using the automatik repricer that
00:02:53 00:02:57 comes in seller central
00:02:54 00:02:59 everyone has a repricer so if you try to
00:02:57 00:03:00 steal the buy box on these items right
00:02:59 00:03:02 here like i'm gonna show you
00:03:00 00:03:03 you can run into pricing battles and
00:03:02 00:03:04 then people just drop the price and the
00:03:03 00:03:06 price tanks
00:03:04 00:03:08 so instead what you want to do is you
00:03:06 00:03:10 want to just match the buy box price and
00:03:08 00:03:12 then you're going to share the buy
00:03:10 00:03:13 buy box with every other seller you
00:03:12 00:03:15 won't sell it
00:03:13 00:03:16 right away but you still will sell it
00:03:15 00:03:18 really fast if you're vetting products
00:03:16 00:03:20 the way that i'm going to show you here
00:03:18 00:03:21 and everybody wins right because then
00:03:20 00:03:22 everybody gets to sell it at a higher
00:03:21 00:03:23 markup
00:03:22 00:03:25 and not you know you're not having that
00:03:23 00:03:27 race to the bottom pricing
00:03:25 00:03:28 so enough explaining it let me jump in

00:03:28 00:03:31 go ahead and source so
00:03:30 00:03:33 what right off the bat what i like to do
00:03:31 00:03:34 is i'll check some of the premium deals

00:03:37 00:03:40 now i could potentially make good money
00:03:38 00:03:42 on this one as you'll see here that

00:03:43 00:03:46 and at my price right here at a lows

00:03:46 00:03:50 is a hundred dollars right so that's a
00:03:48 00:03:52 potential 80 markup but i like to you

00:03:52 00:03:56 where the risk is a little bit mitigated
00:03:54 00:03:57 right so where i'm buying i'm spending
00:03:56 00:03:59 less maybe like five to
00:03:57 00:04:01 20 bucks and then the margin is usually
00:03:59 00:04:03 like 70 to 75 percent
00:04:01 00:04:05 sometimes 50 if i just want to double my
00:04:03 00:04:07 money so let me show you an example
00:04:05 00:04:08 so right off the bat and i actually
00:04:07 00:04:09 checked this one out yesterday so i'm
00:04:08 00:04:11 not going to click on it
00:04:09 00:04:12 but typically speaking this one would
00:04:11 00:04:14 jump out to me right so
00:04:12 00:04:15 i i will actually run you through how to
00:04:14 00:04:17 actually do this one and then we'll find
00:04:15 00:04:21 some good deals examples right

00:04:38 00:04:40 what that's going to do is that's going
00:04:39 00:04:42 to tell me
00:04:40 00:04:44 you know based on my location that i put
00:04:42 00:04:45 into brickseek
00:04:44 00:04:47 where these these uh you know potential
00:04:45 00:04:49 deals are whether they're at walmart or
00:04:47 00:04:50 sorry whether that target walmart best
00:04:49 00:04:52 buy
00:04:50 00:04:54 or if they potentially sell back on
00:04:52 00:04:55 amazon and one of the great parts about
00:04:54 00:04:57 brickseek is if it does sell back on
00:04:55 00:04:58 amazon it will show you what it sells on
00:04:57 00:05:00 amazon for
00:04:58 00:05:01 and you can check that information out
00:05:00 00:05:04 right so because i'm looking to
00:05:01 00:05:06 potentially go into retail stores
00:05:04 00:05:08 by using brickseek's data purchase a
00:05:06 00:05:10 number of these quantity at the low
00:05:08 00:05:11 price that they are that's why i'm using
00:05:10 00:05:13 the website right
00:05:11 00:05:14 and then potentially resell them back on

00:05:23 00:05:25 telling you this is this is a bad deal

00:05:25 00:05:29 because it was selling for 19.99 even

00:05:29 00:05:33 and yeah it might be selling normally at
00:05:31 00:05:34 60 in certain places as you see here
00:05:33 00:05:37 with the msrp
00:05:34 00:05:38 but back on amazon it's only selling for
00:05:37 00:05:41 18.39
00:05:38 00:05:43 so that is a bad product and one that is
00:05:41 00:05:44 not going to make me any money okay now
00:05:43 00:05:45 i did check that out yesterday i already
00:05:44 00:05:46 knew that but i wanted to give you an
00:05:45 00:05:47 example
00:05:46 00:05:49 you know i like to give you guys raw
00:05:47 00:05:50 takes and raw examples of how to source
00:05:49 00:05:52 through different products i don't just
00:05:50 00:05:53 like to hop on and be like
00:05:52 00:05:55 some of the other youtubers out there
00:05:53 00:05:56 that are like oh wow i just found a
00:05:55 00:05:57 great product and that's the only
00:05:56 00:05:59 product i had to source through and like
00:05:57 00:06:01 make it look super simple
00:05:59 00:06:02 it can be easy and keep them you know
00:06:01 00:06:04 keep in mind that none of this is like
00:06:02 00:06:06 super super easy you're gonna have to
00:06:04 00:06:08 put in a little bit of work but
00:06:06 00:06:09 that said there are great products to to
00:06:08 00:06:11 find here you do just have to source
00:06:09 00:06:12 through them like any other potential
00:06:11 00:06:14 website okay
00:06:12 00:06:15 so let me go down and find some other

00:06:15 00:06:19 that i might want to buy for a profit so

00:07:12 00:07:15 this is a little caveat for some of you
00:07:13 00:07:17 out there that already use brickseek but
00:07:15 00:07:18 are having trouble finding products
00:07:17 00:07:20 i would call that actual walmart and
00:07:18 00:07:22 have them set those aside
00:07:20 00:07:24 for me so that i don't have to rush
00:07:22 00:07:25 there immediately and go frantikally
00:07:24 00:07:26 looking for them i'd call and say hey
00:07:25 00:07:27 i'm showing
00:07:26 00:07:29 that you guys have four of x item in
00:07:27 00:07:30 stok can you set it aside for me i'm

00:07:30 00:07:32 it up right now and then they would and
00:07:31 00:07:34 then what i would do is i'd come down

00:07:53 00:07:57 though you're getting at four dollars
00:07:55 00:08:00 like it said here the msrp was about 15
00:07:57 00:08:01 but it's selling back on amazon for 6.45

00:08:01 00:08:05 so this is another example of a bad

00:08:18 00:08:22 and five so there's a lot of inventory

00:08:24 00:08:28 i probably want to avoid that

00:09:16 00:09:19 um and it's actually hot
00:09:17 00:09:20 a lot of a low sales velocity but let's
00:09:19 00:09:22 pretend that i had a good bestseller
00:09:20 00:09:24 rank let's see if we could actually
00:09:22 00:09:25 sell it or if we're gated in this toy
00:09:24 00:09:27 category
00:09:25 00:09:28 so i can actually sell this new
00:09:27 00:09:30 collectible conditions so this would be
00:09:28 00:09:32 a potentially good product
00:09:30 00:09:34 if it were selling a little bit more now
00:09:32 00:09:36 what i'll like to do
00:09:34 00:09:37 next is i'll check with this online
00:09:36 00:09:40 seller add-on right here
00:09:37 00:09:41 if you know what who else is selling it
00:09:40 00:09:42 how so how many other sellers as you can
00:09:41 00:09:44 see here there are five
00:09:42 00:09:46 but more importantly how much quantity
00:09:44 00:09:47 of those do they actually have because
00:09:46 00:09:50 if you look down the list and
00:09:47 00:09:51 you know certain people are selling one
00:09:50 00:09:52 or two or three quantities
00:09:51 00:09:54 then yeah they're going to sell out
00:09:52 00:09:54 fairly quickly and you can load up on
00:09:54 00:09:56 quantity
00:09:54 00:09:57 knowing that their inventory is going to
00:09:56 00:09:59 run out pretty quickly okay
00:09:57 00:10:01 so it's just something i like to use in
00:09:59 00:10:02 another step and cog in the process
00:10:01 00:10:04 they can help you out and really
00:10:02 00:10:06 understand and indicate
00:10:04 00:10:08 what's selling on the listing how many
00:10:06 00:10:10 those those actual sellers have
00:10:08 00:10:12 so that you can utilize all that data to
00:10:10 00:10:13 make an informed decision on how how
00:10:12 00:10:14 deep you want to go into this inventory
00:10:13 00:10:15 right
00:10:14 00:10:16 if there's a lot there there's a lot of
00:10:15 00:10:17 sellers and they all have a large
00:10:16 00:10:18 quantity
00:10:17 00:10:19 chances are you're going to be sharing
00:10:18 00:10:21 the buy box for a while with a lot of
00:10:19 00:10:22 people so you don't want to go in deep
00:10:21 00:10:25 on that inventory you don't want to buy
00:10:22 00:10:27 like 20 to 50 potentially maybe you only
00:10:25 00:10:28 want to buy five depending on how many
00:10:27 00:10:29 sales it has a month
00:10:28 00:10:31 there's a lot of little tidbits of
00:10:29 00:10:32 information that you might not pick up
00:10:31 00:10:34 the first time the next thing that i'll
00:10:32 00:10:35 do is i'll actually use this extension
00:10:34 00:10:37 as well
00:10:35 00:10:39 which shows me the fba calculator so i
00:10:37 00:10:42 don't actually have to google
00:10:39 00:10:43 fba calculator every single time right
00:10:42 00:10:44 usually what i would tell people to do
00:10:43 00:10:46 and i didn't mean to hit chrome
00:10:44 00:10:47 extension there i would just hit fba
00:10:46 00:10:49 calculator and
00:10:47 00:10:50 take me to seller central to the revenue
00:10:49 00:10:51 calculator now you can do this every
00:10:50 00:10:52 time if you want you don't need to
00:10:51 00:10:54 download the extension
00:10:52 00:10:55 what i like to do is i like to have the
00:10:54 00:10:57 extension installed so i can literally
00:10:55 00:10:59 just get all the data right away
00:10:57 00:11:01 i say run the calculator right here and
00:10:59 00:11:02 then i simply just type in my product
00:11:01 00:11:05 cost and how much my shipping
00:11:02 00:11:07 potentially cost would be into fba right
00:11:05 00:11:07 so my product cost was four dollars
00:11:07 00:11:09 right
00:11:07 00:11:10 my shipping cost if i buy like five of
00:11:09 00:11:12 these or 10 of these might be end up
00:11:10 00:11:14 being like 30 cents
00:11:12 00:11:16 so what is my net profit margin after
00:11:14 00:11:19 all is said and done
00:11:16 00:11:22 well my net profit margin would be
00:11:19 00:11:24 negative 1.5 negative dollar 56 per unit
00:11:22 00:11:26 so this is probably a bad
00:11:24 00:11:28 product if i buy it at that price now
00:11:26 00:11:29 the key indicator here is it might be a
00:11:28 00:11:30 little bit bigger it might weigh a
00:11:29 00:11:31 little bit more it might take up a
00:11:30 00:11:33 little bit
00:11:31 00:11:34 more of their shelves so if i weren't
00:11:33 00:11:36 fulfilling this and i could obviously
00:11:34 00:11:38 check this on the fba calculator
00:11:36 00:11:40 as merchant fulfilled if i wanted to and
00:11:38 00:11:41 see if i can make money merchant
00:11:40 00:11:44 fulfilling this so what i would do
00:11:41 00:11:45 is i would take that asin into the fba
00:11:44 00:11:47 calculator to see if it's profitable to
00:11:45 00:11:48 merchant fulfill this
00:11:47 00:11:50 and you don't have to merchant fulfill
00:11:48 00:11:52 i'm just giving you more you know
00:11:50 00:11:53 tools in your tool belt essentially to
00:11:52 00:11:53 make money with this and these are
00:11:53 00:11:55 actually
00:11:53 00:11:57 examples of bad products but i'm running
00:11:55 00:11:58 you through all the different ways that
