00:03:09 00:03:11 something that a lot of people were
00:03:10 00:03:12 doing
00:03:11 00:03:14 and i wanted to create a product that
00:03:12 00:03:15 was a little different than what other
00:03:14 00:03:17 people
00:03:15 00:03:19 were making something that people could
00:03:17 00:03:22 enjoy of all ages
00:03:19 00:03:23 most of my customers are 21 and older it
00:03:22 00:03:25 has nothing to do
00:03:23 00:03:26 with that i'm making things for kids
00:03:25 00:03:28 because i'm not
00:03:26 00:03:30 so the reason for this is because when
00:03:28 00:03:30 your tiktok shows up on the for you

00:04:32 00:04:36 how i rely on my business for an income
00:04:34 00:04:38 since my husband and i do this full-time
00:04:36 00:04:40 but i never felt the right to be like oh
00:04:38 00:04:41 i get no orders
00:04:40 00:04:43 oh i don't have any orders please
00:04:41 00:04:44 somebody order for me if you're like
00:04:43 00:04:45 that
00:04:44 00:04:46 i personally wouldn't order from
00:04:45 00:04:47 somebody that nobody else is ordering

00:04:47 00:04:50 if you see that a bunch of people are in
00:04:48 00:04:51 the comments like i need this i need
00:04:50 00:04:52 this you feel a sense of urgency to go

00:06:12 00:06:15 up here the lighting alone makes the
00:06:14 00:06:17 video just look
00:06:15 00:06:18 so much more aesthetikally pleasing
00:06:17 00:06:20 which will keep the viewers on your
00:06:18 00:06:22 video longer i want to make sure that
00:06:20 00:06:23 you quickly make your videos and there's
00:06:22 00:06:25 no spacing
00:06:23 00:06:26 between your toking when you have your
00:06:25 00:06:27 videos because tiktok will show your
00:06:26 00:06:29 videos more
00:06:27 00:06:31 if people are watching it over and over
00:06:29 00:06:33 again or if they finish the whole video
00:06:31 00:06:35 so make sure you keep it short and
00:06:33 00:06:37 simple i think hashtags did help my tik
00:06:35 00:06:39 tok personally
00:06:37 00:06:40 but stay away from small business
00:06:39 00:06:42 hashtag
00:06:40 00:06:43 when i first started my small business i
00:06:42 00:06:45 used to all use
00:06:43 00:06:47 all the small business hashtags because
00:06:45 00:06:48 i saw other people doing that don't do
00:06:47 00:06:50 what other people
00:06:48 00:06:52 are doing so what i did was i found
00:06:50 00:06:55 hashtags that i thought
00:06:52 00:06:55 could help my business be pushed to the
00:06:55 00:06:57 right people
00:06:55 00:06:59 for example i started selling these
00:06:57 00:07:02 really cute boba squishies
00:06:59 00:07:05 and i clearly saw that in the market
00:07:02 00:07:08 right now squishmallows are like a huge
00:07:05 00:07:10 thing and they are a huge company so i
00:07:08 00:07:11 did use like a couple hashtags that were
00:07:10 00:07:13 just squishmallows
00:07:11 00:07:14 now i would never do that to a small
00:07:13 00:07:16 business like i would never like hashtag
00:07:14 00:07:17 a small business because that's just
00:07:16 00:07:18 kind of like shady like you're trying to
00:07:17 00:07:20 take their customers
00:07:18 00:07:21 but for a giant business like
00:07:20 00:07:23 squishmallows
00:07:21 00:07:24 i didn't think it was that hurtful plus
00:07:23 00:07:25 they don't even have a tiktok it's
00:07:24 00:07:28 just not the same
00:07:25 00:07:30 so ethically it's still okay to do that
00:07:28 00:07:32 um or if you want to like hashtag
00:07:30 00:07:33 like if your customers are into anime
00:07:32 00:07:35 and you have anime products you could do
00:07:33 00:07:36 like hashtag anime or just things like

00:07:36 00:07:40 or of course hashtag boba because a lot
00:07:38 00:07:40 of my products are like boba inspired as

00:07:40 00:07:43 i of course use like bobo but stay away
00:07:42 00:07:44 from those small business hashtags as

00:07:44 00:07:48 another thing that i think helped me
00:07:46 00:07:49 crack the tiktok algorithm with my
00:07:48 00:07:51 small business
00:07:49 00:07:53 was that i show my products on the shelf
00:07:51 00:07:54 like back here you can kind of see like
00:07:53 00:07:55 i have all my products out
00:07:54 00:07:57 so i have a bunch of products that i
00:07:55 00:07:59 display out and then i have products
00:07:57 00:08:01 obviously that's in storage
00:07:59 00:08:04 but just by showing your customers what
00:08:01 00:08:06 you have as if you were like in a store
00:08:04 00:08:07 that also makes it very aesthetikally
00:08:06 00:08:09 pleasing for them to want to buy
00:08:07 00:08:11 one of your products because at the end
00:08:09 00:08:12 of the day these videos are not for
00:08:11 00:08:13 entertainment at the end of the day
00:08:12 00:08:16 these videos are to create
00:08:13 00:08:17 more buyers for my store and to have
00:08:16 00:08:20 them come to the store
00:08:17 00:08:20 not necessarily for views but because
00:08:20 00:08:23 tiktok
00:08:20 00:08:25 pays for views that makes it a really
00:08:23 00:08:27 excellent choice as to use tiktok
00:08:25 00:08:29 since they do pay for views i'm gonna be
00:08:27 00:08:31 doing a video about how much tiktok
00:08:29 00:08:33 pays me personally for my small business
00:08:31 00:08:35 page just so you can have an idea
00:08:33 00:08:36 it's not a super bunch of money but i
00:08:35 00:08:38 feel like anything helps
00:08:36 00:08:40 and it's passive income that i can
00:08:38 00:08:42 reinvest in my business

00:09:21 00:09:24 it just will turn your customers off and
00:09:23 00:09:26 it just makes the video look super
