In this article, we will be discussing Facebook lead generation for HVAC businesses. We will go over how to use Facebook ads to generate leads and grow your business. Specifically, we will discuss how we were able to generate 23 leads for a new HVAC client using Facebook ads.

1. Purpose of the ad:

The first step in creating a successful Facebook ad is determining its purpose. In our case, we wanted to generate more leads for heat pump replacements.

2. Creating a compelling offer:

Next, we needed to create a compelling offer to entice potential customers to fill out a form. In this case, our client had a provincial rebate of $400, which we used as their offer in the ad. Other options could include financing or highlighting your warranty.

3. Gathering assets:

We gathered logos, images of the company and product, and combined them using a tool like Canva, which is a free graphic design tool that is easy to use.

4. Using Facebook lead ads:

We used Facebook lead ads, which are contact forms directly on Facebook that allow you to collect a user's name, email, phone number, and other information without ever having to send them to your website.

5. Setting up the campaign:

We set up the campaign in our ads manager, choosing lead ads as the objective, and named it according to our campaign. We started broad with targeting, including assumptions about the ages of homeowners and all locations that the company served.

6. Customizing the ad:

We used our ad copy, which included the offer and other great bullet points about the company, and stuck them into the ad. We also created our contact form, asking for name, email, and phone number.

7. Analyzing the results:

After running the ads for a month, we generated around 40 leads at about $23 per lead. By analyzing the results, we were able to see which ad creatives and headlines worked best against each other.
