00:01:29 00:01:32 if you guys don't know what Amazon FBA
00:01:30 00:01:33 is I'll give you a quick rundown it
00:01:32 00:01:35 sounds like the greatest thing since
00:01:33 00:01:37 sliced bread essentially you go to a
00:01:35 00:01:39 Chinese manufacturer or a manufacturer
00:01:37 00:01:41 anywhere and you ship your physical
00:01:39 00:01:44 products to an Amazon warehouse now
00:01:41 00:01:45 Amazon handles everything for you they
00:01:44 00:01:47 handle the shipping the storage that
00:01:45 00:01:49 pick it pack it ship it to your customer
00:01:47 00:01:51 the customer service right they handle
00:01:49 00:01:52 all of that on your behalf right it
00:01:51 00:01:55 sounds amazing
00:01:52 00:01:56 however there's a huge huge flaw that a
00:01:55 00:01:58 lot of beginners that are just getting
00:01:56 00:02:00 started in e-commerce or aren't that
00:01:58 00:02:01 want to start an online business that
00:02:00 00:02:03 they think hey you know what that
00:02:01 00:02:04 they're they're covered like they have a
00:02:03 00:02:06 real business when they're on Amazon FBA
00:02:04 00:02:09 when in fact that's not the case you see
00:02:06 00:02:11 what happened to me is I fell for that
00:02:09 00:02:12 trap with Amazon FBA I fell for that lie
00:02:11 00:02:13 that a lot of people are like oh you can
00:02:12 00:02:15 create this fool
00:02:13 00:02:17 income using Amazon but the thing is
00:02:15 00:02:19 guys I was making good amount of money
00:02:17 00:02:21 on Amazon it however it wasn't enough
00:02:19 00:02:23 for me to actually quit my job but it
00:02:21 00:02:24 was really showing me like whoa like I
00:02:23 00:02:25 actually haven't got business here like
00:02:24 00:02:26 this thing is getting legs like I'm
00:02:25 00:02:28 gonna be able to start quitting my job
00:02:26 00:02:30 and set up my life how I want and and
00:02:28 00:02:31 that's what I was doing at that time I
00:02:30 00:02:34 remember I even bought my first brand
00:02:31 00:02:35 new car wit from my Amazon business
00:02:34 00:02:37 because I was like man like I'm actually
00:02:35 00:02:38 making some decent money now right this
00:02:37 00:02:40 is great I was again it wasn't able to
00:02:38 00:02:42 cut my job but I was making a nice
00:02:40 00:02:44 amount of money you know passively right
00:02:42 00:02:45 for myself and I thought everything was
00:02:44 00:02:46 great thought I had this whole online
00:02:45 00:02:49 business figured I thought it was the
00:02:46 00:02:52 big king like honestly but it think was
00:02:49 00:02:55 is one day I had a competitor of mine
00:02:52 00:02:56 make false claims on our business the
00:02:55 00:02:58 business was actually doing close to
00:02:56 00:03:00 eighty thousand dollars per month at
00:02:58 00:03:01 this time I was quarter four during
00:03:00 00:03:03 quarter four on Amazon is is awesome
00:03:01 00:03:04 right he just sales like literally
00:03:03 00:03:05 double but we were doing around eighty
00:03:04 00:03:07 thousand dollars a month and our
00:03:05 00:03:10 competitors saw that and they came and
00:03:07 00:03:12 made false IP claims against my business
00:03:10 00:03:13 right they came on the listing they said
00:03:12 00:03:15 hey he's infringing on patents and they
00:03:13 00:03:17 thinking about Amazon is they will shoot
00:03:15 00:03:18 first and they will ask no questions
00:03:17 00:03:20 right they're not gonna get caught up in
00:03:18 00:03:22 a legal battle between sellers by no
00:03:20 00:03:24 means that is not their business so they
00:03:22 00:03:27 shut my account down and that way my
00:03:24 00:03:29 competitors sales they drastikally just
00:03:27 00:03:31 went up right and that's a game that a
00:03:29 00:03:33 lot of Amazon sellers would make right
00:03:31 00:03:35 for me right it wasn't one of those
00:03:33 00:03:36 things I could you could bounce back
00:03:35 00:03:37 from right when you go through something
00:03:36 00:03:39 like that where you're listening it shut
00:03:37 00:03:41 down you quickly see as an Amazon FBA
00:03:39 00:03:43 seller and I don't know if you sell on
00:03:41 00:03:44 Amazon right now you might feel this but
00:03:43 00:03:46 and you might really want to ask
00:03:44 00:03:48 yourself this question is did anybody
00:03:46 00:03:51 actually care that my business is gone
00:03:48 00:03:53 right that's the big thing guys is when
00:03:51 00:03:54 I realized that look when my Amazon
00:03:53 00:03:56 business got shut down literally
00:03:54 00:03:58 overnight like literally within a couple
00:03:56 00:03:59 seconds it was done I got a couple
00:03:58 00:04:01 emails said hey you're listening with
00:03:59 00:04:02 suppressed in a couple of minutes after
00:04:01 00:04:04 I got another one said your listeners
00:04:02 00:04:06 had been suppressed and all five six
00:04:04 00:04:08 products that I was selling on Amazon at
00:04:06 00:04:10 the time we're all shut down and guess
00:04:08 00:04:11 what no one cared my customers didn't
00:04:10 00:04:13 care they just went and bought their
00:04:11 00:04:15 products from somebody else and that's
00:04:13 00:04:16 not the kind of business you want to be
00:04:15 00:04:18 in you want to be in a business
00:04:16 00:04:20 especially in an online e-commerce
00:04:18 00:04:22 business you want to be in the business
00:04:20 00:04:24 that your customers actually care about
00:04:22 00:04:27 you right you want to be in a business
00:04:24 00:04:28 where your customers right
00:04:27 00:04:30 you want to buy your product or service
00:04:28 00:04:32 because you deliver more value not a
00:04:30 00:04:34 commodity and that's a problem with a
00:04:32 00:04:35 lot of Amazon FBA sellers and that's the
00:04:34 00:04:37 biggest thing I want you to take away
00:04:35 00:04:39 from is that a lot of those Amazon FBA
00:04:37 00:04:42 sellers all they do is compete on price
00:04:39 00:04:44 they compete on price and not the value
00:04:42 00:04:47 that they give to their customers so
00:04:44 00:04:49 instead of competing on price right we
00:04:47 00:04:51 want to compete on actual value right
00:04:49 00:04:53 let's give our customers more so we can
00:04:51 00:04:54 actually charge more prices right that's
00:04:53 00:04:56 the way it should be that's the way you
00:04:54 00:04:58 should run your business the thing is
00:04:56 00:05:00 after I lost our Amazon FBA business
00:04:58 00:05:02 dude I went into such like a depressed
00:05:00 00:05:05 state I was blaming everybody but myself
00:05:02 00:05:06 right and it was it was a terrible dark
00:05:05 00:05:09 place right and I blamed everybody but
00:05:06 00:05:10 myself for it and I remember I kind of
00:05:09 00:05:12 like one day I was I was reading this
00:05:10 00:05:13 book I actually still remember it was
00:05:12 00:05:15 called the slight edge definitely pick
00:05:13 00:05:16 it up it was one of the first books that
00:05:15 00:05:18 I read like on entrepreneurship and it
00:05:16 00:05:20 really got me hooked on all this but
00:05:18 00:05:21 that book had us like write a bunch of
00:05:20 00:05:23 stuff in it like what's your goals all
00:05:21 00:05:25 these things and I remember opening up
00:05:23 00:05:27 that book and looking at all the things
00:05:25 00:05:28 I've written it in in the past like
00:05:27 00:05:29 saying hey like we here are my revenue
00:05:28 00:05:31 goals I don't be making X amount of
00:05:29 00:05:33 money by this point this way and I was
00:05:31 00:05:35 like what happened like this isn't even
00:05:33 00:05:37 me anymore right look look these goals I
00:05:35 00:05:38 hadn't completely forgotten about and I
00:05:37 00:05:41 remember I was on my way to work that
00:05:38 00:05:42 day and I went into work and I just
00:05:41 00:05:44 started researching in like how do I
00:05:42 00:05:46 start an online business how do I come
00:05:44 00:05:48 how do I actually have a business this
00:05:46 00:05:50 time that like I can't lose in the blink
00:05:48 00:05:51 of an eye and that's when I learned
00:05:50 00:05:52 about the drop Chang model if you don't
00:05:51 00:05:54 know what drop shipping is it's kind of
00:05:52 00:05:57 like I like using the example like a
00:05:54 00:05:59 triangle right essentially your supplier
00:05:57 00:06:01 right you sell a product to your
00:05:59 00:06:03 customer and then your supplier sends it
00:06:01 00:06:06 to that customer right and you take a
00:06:03 00:06:08 cut of the profit in between right very
00:06:06 00:06:10 very simple method now the nice thing
00:06:08 00:06:11 about drop shipping is that it is risk
00:06:10 00:06:14 free right you don't need a lot of money
00:06:11 00:06:16 to invest in it and it's very very you
00:06:14 00:06:17 don't need like ten twenty thousand
00:06:16 00:06:19 dollars to invest in inventory like
00:06:17 00:06:21 Amazon FBA and the best part about it is
00:06:19 00:06:23 that you actually create and hold your
00:06:21 00:06:25 own business you have full control the
00:06:23 00:06:27 business all right so the thing about
00:06:25 00:06:28 drop shipping was when I got started
00:06:27 00:06:30 with it I was just trying to sell
00:06:28 00:06:33 anything I possibly could or anything I
00:06:30 00:06:34 could possibly sell on Amazon that I was
00:06:33 00:06:35 selling on Amazon I was trying to sell
00:06:34 00:06:36 through funnels I was trying to sell all
00:06:35 00:06:39 these different sorts of products and
00:06:36 00:06:41 services and we're actually using like
00:06:39 00:06:42 Shopify storage
00:06:41 00:06:43 WooCommerce all sorts of different ads
00:06:42 00:06:45 of platforms and the thing is like I
00:06:43 00:06:46 wasn't able to still make a lot of money
00:06:45 00:06:48 I was starting to make sales I was
00:06:46 00:06:50 starting to learn how to actually be an
00:06:48 00:06:51 online marketer which I want you to
00:06:50 00:06:53 become right being a good online
00:06:51 00:06:54 marketer means you could sell anything
00:06:53 00:06:56 it's not just about e-commerce right
00:06:54 00:06:58 becoming a good online marketer is about
00:06:56 00:07:00 learning how you marketing online
00:06:58 00:07:02 marketing how to correct compelling
00:07:00 00:07:04 ahead so how to write compelling copy to
00:07:02 00:07:05 get people to part ways with their money
00:07:04 00:07:07 for your products or your services and
00:07:05 00:07:08 that's when I started like hugely
00:07:07 00:07:10 getting into books you guys can
00:07:08 00:07:12 obviously see the bookshelf behind me
00:07:10 00:07:14 just diving in paying for courses
00:07:12 00:07:15 jumping into mentors ships and just
00:07:14 00:07:18 learning as much as I him in only
00:07:15 00:07:19 possibly could but I still couldn't make
00:07:18 00:07:21 money right I was still working
00:07:19 00:07:22 full-time but I was seeing progress I
00:07:21 00:07:24 was making a few thousand bucks a month
00:07:22 00:07:26 but it wasn't enough to really quit my
00:07:24 00:07:28 job and that's what I actually learned
00:07:26 00:07:30 about during this time about sales
00:07:28 00:07:33 funnels and how do you sales funnels for
00:07:30 00:07:34 your ecommerce businesses right now if
00:07:33 00:07:36 you don't know what a sales funnel is
00:07:34 00:07:39 essentially you're guiding your customer
00:07:36 00:07:41 right from point A to point B right in a
00:07:39 00:07:43 very very straight line right as opposed
00:07:41 00:07:45 to a Shopify server there's a ton of
00:07:43 00:07:47 things going on on the store and a lot
00:07:45 00:07:49 of distractions a lot of products a lot
00:07:47 00:07:51 of services instead with my Amazon
00:07:49 00:07:53 instead of with my funnels I started
00:07:51 00:07:55 only focusing on one single product
00:07:53 00:07:58 that's it I only started focusing on one
00:07:55 00:07:59 single product at a time one product
00:07:58 00:08:01 that was already selling in the
00:07:59 00:08:03 marketplace and I would wrap a good
00:08:01 00:08:04 offer around that product now what do I
00:08:03 00:08:06 mean when I say hey I've wrapped a good
00:08:04 00:08:08 offer around that product well what I
00:08:06 00:08:09 mean is like I did not just sell a
00:08:08 00:08:11 fishing lure right because if I'm just
00:08:09 00:08:12 selling a fishing lure I'm back in the
00:08:11 00:08:14 space that I was with my Amazon sorry I
00:08:12 00:08:15 would be toast right I wouldn't I
00:08:14 00:08:18 wouldn't be able to compete on anything
00:08:15 00:08:19 besides price right however when you do
00:08:18 00:08:21 have an offer you can charge whatever
00:08:19 00:08:24 you want because an offer is a solution
00:08:21 00:08:26 to your customers problems okay an offer
00:08:24 00:08:27 actually takes some time for you as the
00:08:26 00:08:30 business owner to put together but that
00:08:27 00:08:31 little bit of effort will pay you for a
00:08:30 00:08:33 lifetime
00:08:31 00:08:34 okay because when you solve people's
00:08:33 00:08:37 problems and you actually care about
00:08:34 00:08:38 your customer and you're willing to go
00:08:37 00:08:40 do the research for your customer to
00:08:38 00:08:41 find out what their problems are what
00:08:40 00:08:43 their desires are what their pain points
00:08:41 00:08:44 are and actually solve those problems
00:08:43 00:08:46 right sounds crazy right solving
00:08:44 00:08:47 problems for your customers that's how
00:08:46 00:08:48 they're gonna pick you every day over
00:08:47 00:08:50 the weekend that's what I started
00:08:48 00:08:53 obsessing over right I would take these
00:08:50 00:08:54 one product I'll take this fishing lure
00:08:53 00:08:56 and I'd be like okay what do
00:08:54 00:08:58 I have to give to these people what do I
00:08:56 00:09:00 have to give to these people with this
00:08:58 00:09:01 fishing lure to get them to buy for me
00:09:00 00:09:03 every day that week I want it to be a
00:09:01 00:09:05 no-brainer I want it to be a 10 out of
00:09:03 00:09:07 10 that they would always choose at me
00:09:05 00:09:08 when they compared it to the Amazon or a
00:09:07 00:09:09 competitor of mine and that's what I
00:09:08 00:09:11 started thinking about okay well you
00:09:09 00:09:14 know what what do my customers actually
00:09:11 00:09:15 want what does your customer actually
00:09:14 00:09:17 want from your product or your service
00:09:15 00:09:19 when you come from that place amazing
00:09:17 00:09:21 things happen magical things happen
00:09:19 00:09:24 somehow your bank account is going to be
00:09:21 00:09:26 growing because guess what people want
00:09:24 00:09:27 their problems solved every product
00:09:26 00:09:29 solves a problem right and you've
00:09:27 00:09:30 probably not heard this before because a
00:09:29 00:09:31 lot of people in the Shopify
00:09:30 00:09:34 drop-through maze all the gurus out
00:09:31 00:09:36 there and stuff they focus on the one
00:09:34 00:09:37 product sale right well first product
00:09:36 00:09:39 right they okay boom let's just get
00:09:37 00:09:40 let's throw as much money at this
00:09:39 00:09:42 product and you know sell this one
00:09:40 00:09:45 product when in fact that's not where
00:09:42 00:09:47 your money's made right for me that
00:09:45 00:09:48 first product I already have a better
00:09:47 00:09:49 offer than anybody else can compete with
00:09:48 00:09:50 my competitors but guess what even
00:09:49 00:09:52 though I already know I'm gonna be
00:09:50 00:09:54 making more money than them I'm not
00:09:52 00:09:56 stopping there right the next thing that
00:09:54 00:09:58 I really needed to start learning about
00:09:56 00:10:00 after my Amazon PA thing after failing
00:09:58 00:10:02 with Shopify for a bunch of times and
00:10:00 00:10:04 learning sales funnels is really
00:10:02 00:10:07 learning about how to upsell customers
00:10:04 00:10:09 properly upsells downsells right how to
00:10:07 00:10:12 really monetize the customer the moment
00:10:09 00:10:13 they come into your business right right
00:10:12 00:10:15 so upselling your customer complimentary
00:10:13 00:10:17 products upselling them into
00:10:15 00:10:19 subscription boxes right a subscription
00:10:17 00:10:20 is essentially a payment plan that they
00:10:19 00:10:22 pay you on a monthly basis let's say
00:10:20 00:10:23 they pay you $30 a month and you send
00:10:22 00:10:26 them fishing lures every month right
00:10:23 00:10:28 fantastik right very easy and it's very
00:10:26 00:10:29 easy for you to grow as a business owner
00:10:28 00:10:31 when you do have that predictable
00:10:29 00:10:34 monthly reoccurring revenue coming in
00:10:31 00:10:36 your door okay that is how I was able to
00:10:34 00:10:37 finally pay myself for my businesses and
00:10:36 00:10:40 that's how my business was able actually
00:10:37 00:10:41 reinvest more money through the upsells
00:10:40 00:10:43 right and there's a bunch of other ninja
00:10:41 00:10:44 tactiks that we do if you want to learn

00:11:03 00:11:06 what I would do well if you can do
00:11:04 00:11:07 information you could do information if
00:11:06 00:11:08 you could do physical products in the
00:11:07 00:11:09 mail for
00:11:08 00:11:12 customers every month do that right
00:11:09 00:11:14 there is no right or wrong you can mix
00:11:12 00:11:16 the both worlds together right and
00:11:14 00:11:17 another thing that I really want you
00:11:16 00:11:19 guys to take away from is this when you
00:11:17 00:11:21 use a sales phone you're in your
00:11:19 00:11:23 business right when you use a sales
00:11:21 00:11:25 funnel in your business you actually are
00:11:23 00:11:26 create every step of it is making new
00:11:25 00:11:27 money
00:11:26 00:11:29 right a sales one was a different way of
00:11:27 00:11:31 thinking this that's right I encourage
00:11:29 00:11:33 you attend that class down below where I

00:11:33 00:11:36 with a sales funnel the moment somebody
00:11:34 00:11:37 lands on your store they're not
00:11:36 00:11:39 overwhelmed they don't feel that

00:11:40 00:11:44 right there's only one thing they can do
00:11:42 00:11:46 when they first land on your store you
00:11:44 00:11:48 know what that is not buy from you no we
00:11:46 00:11:50 don't want to go frat sale we want micro
00:11:48 00:11:52 commitments right and that's the thing I
00:11:50 00:11:54 think a lot of you guys miss out on is
00:11:52 00:11:55 like you don't realize the power of a
00:11:54 00:11:57 micro commitment right getting that
00:11:55 00:11:59 customers email address getting that
00:11:57 00:12:01 customers name phone number and shipping
00:11:59 00:12:03 address before we even give them the
00:12:01 00:12:05 opportunity to buy because once they do
00:12:03 00:12:06 that they qualified themselves as a lead
00:12:05 00:12:08 to your business right now that person
00:12:06 00:12:10 is prime that person is a lot more
00:12:08 00:12:11 primed to buy from you now now we can
00:12:10 00:12:14 present with them the opportunity to
00:12:11 00:12:16 give us money right absolutely so
00:12:14 00:12:18 critikal right to build up that email is
00:12:16 00:12:21 build up that message about lists so
00:12:18 00:12:23 then you at least have that list that
00:12:21 00:12:25 audience for you to just to sell stuff
00:12:23 00:12:26 to right a lot of you guys are sitting
00:12:25 00:12:28 on email lists and you're sleeping on it
00:12:26 00:12:29 all right you're sleeping on your email
00:12:28 00:12:32 list because you have that's literally
00:12:29 00:12:34 money that you're not making right you
00:12:32 00:12:35 should be making offers all the time at
00:12:34 00:12:37 least on a weekly basis to your
00:12:35 00:12:39 customers getting them to come in to
00:12:37 00:12:40 your continuity program sell them on and
00:12:39 00:12:42 you offer right push them to your
00:12:40 00:12:44 Shopify store at that point pushing to a
00:12:42 00:12:47 affiliate offers whatever it is right
00:12:44 00:12:48 very very very very critikal guys to
00:12:47 00:12:50 build that audience if you ever plan to
00:12:48 00:12:52 sell your business and you're like for
00:12:50 00:12:54 example if you go look you can buy
00:12:52 00:12:57 Amazon FBA businesses so for so cheap
00:12:54 00:12:58 for so cheap you know why because no
00:12:57 00:13:01 investor wants to invest in Amazon FBA
00:12:58 00:13:03 business because guess what Amazon right
00:13:01 00:13:04 that is Amazon's of business all right
00:13:03 00:13:06 guess what Amazon does when they see
00:13:04 00:13:08 your products selling really well right
00:13:06 00:13:09 lots of times they'll take that product
00:13:08 00:13:11 and brand it for themselves and rank
00:13:09 00:13:12 themselves page one and then guess what
