00:00:46 00:00:49 the long term now obviously you're gonna
00:00:48 00:00:51 learn from that mistake and you're not
00:00:49 00:00:53 gonna make that mistake again but there
00:00:51 00:00:56 are ways around that you can minimize
00:00:53 00:00:58 the risk of making that mistake you know
00:00:56 00:01:00 choosing a Prag that's not gonna make
00:00:58 00:01:01 you a lot of money and there's a few
00:01:00 00:01:03 ways around that and I highly recommend

00:01:10 00:01:14 you know product catalog and you know
00:01:12 00:01:16 categorize you know the criteria that
00:01:14 00:01:17 you wanted to look for so if you want to
00:01:16 00:01:20 sell a product between fifteen and
00:01:17 00:01:22 twenty dollars and you want the products
00:01:20 00:01:24 to be under you know 50 reviews and you
00:01:22 00:01:24 want you know 400 sales per month at
00:01:24 00:01:27 least
00:01:24 00:01:29 jungle Scout is gonna pull down every
00:01:27 00:01:31 product listing that fits that criteria
00:01:29 00:01:33 that you just put in so that 15 and 20
00:01:31 00:01:35 dollar price point each listing has
00:01:33 00:01:37 under 50 reviews and has over 400 sales
00:01:35 00:01:39 so it's gonna pulled on every listing
00:01:37 00:01:40 that fits that criteria so then you can
00:01:39 00:01:41 go through you can scroll through see if
00:01:40 00:01:44 there's Indian products that you know
00:01:41 00:01:46 catch your eye and know for instance
00:01:44 00:01:47 let's just say you saw you saw like one
00:01:46 00:01:49 of these listing us is at one jungle
00:01:47 00:01:51 Scout and so you come back to Amazon and
00:01:49 00:01:53 you search the most broad search term
00:01:51 00:01:55 for that product you know clear drink
00:01:53 00:01:56 brauch and you can see there's tons of
00:01:55 00:01:57 other people selling this similar
00:01:56 00:01:59 product you know doesn't look too
00:01:57 00:02:01 competitive you go over here you can
00:01:59 00:02:03 pull down the Joe Scout Chrome extension
00:02:01 00:02:05 I'll have the link to jungle scout below
00:02:03 00:02:06 in the description so if you do want to
00:02:05 00:02:08 you know invest in John with scout or
00:02:06 00:02:10 just learn more about it you can find
00:02:08 00:02:12 that in that link but with this Chrome
00:02:10 00:02:13 extension is pulling down every listing
00:02:12 00:02:15 on the first page
00:02:13 00:02:17 for that search term clear drink pouch
00:02:15 00:02:20 as you can see there's different price
00:02:17 00:02:21 points you know um people are making
00:02:20 00:02:23 different sales volumes different
00:02:21 00:02:25 revenue you can see someone here is
00:02:23 00:02:28 doing you know fourteen thousand dollars
00:02:25 00:02:29 a month you know with eight reviews you
00:02:28 00:02:32 know ten thousand dollars a month with
00:02:29 00:02:33 thirty you know then it kind of trickles
00:02:32 00:02:35 off a little bit so you know you look at
00:02:33 00:02:36 this product you analyze it and that's
00:02:35 00:02:39 what product research is just going
00:02:36 00:02:41 through and just analyzing the data for
00:02:39 00:02:43 that marketplace of that product you
00:02:41 00:02:45 know seeing it is there enough sales you
00:02:43 00:02:47 know throughout the first top ten
00:02:45 00:02:48 competitors as you can see there's some
00:02:47 00:02:51 competitors up here that are doing you
00:02:48 00:02:52 know majority of the sales you know this
00:02:51 00:02:54 actually isn't even the products you can
00:02:52 00:02:55 just eggs that off your product tracker
00:02:54 00:02:57 because there's no there's no reason for
00:02:55 00:02:59 you to be looking at that product that's
00:02:57 00:03:00 not what you're gonna potentially sell
00:02:59 00:03:02 there's this product right here you know
00:03:00 00:03:05 fifty pieces I mean he's doing three
00:03:02 00:03:09 thousand units a month you know 700 700
00:03:05 00:03:10 700 800 then it kind of dies off so I'd
00:03:09 00:03:12 partially stay away from this product
00:03:10 00:03:14 that's basically what product research
00:03:12 00:03:16 is just going through in using your best
00:03:14 00:03:18 instincts to you know determine if
00:03:16 00:03:19 there's an opportunity for you to you
00:03:18 00:03:21 know end of this market with your own
00:03:19 00:03:24 product that's unique and you know to be
00:03:21 00:03:25 able to create a listing that's going to
00:03:24 00:03:28 sell you know take professional pictures
00:03:25 00:03:31 and out so your competition so the
00:03:28 00:03:32 second tip is to stand out now there are
00:03:31 00:03:34 a few different ways you can do this
00:03:32 00:03:36 from you know bond the link you know
00:03:34 00:03:38 changing different variations of colors
00:03:36 00:03:41 and just providing more value for your
00:03:38 00:03:42 product and for your listing in know to
00:03:41 00:03:45 create more sales for your product you
00:03:42 00:03:47 don't have to have the bottom lowest
00:03:45 00:03:49 priced in the market I never recommend
00:03:47 00:03:51 doing that if I compare the price points
00:03:49 00:03:53 of my current private label products to
00:03:51 00:03:55 my competitors I'm gonna be on the
00:03:53 00:03:56 higher end spectrum compared to my
00:03:55 00:03:58 competitors because you know I better
00:03:56 00:04:00 you know product pictures you know eye
00:03:58 00:04:03 product packaging you know my listing of
00:04:00 00:04:05 optimizing it with the title bullet
00:04:03 00:04:07 points the description so my conversions
00:04:05 00:04:09 are gonna be a lot higher and there's a
00:04:07 00:04:11 reason that I'm able to fetch a higher
00:04:09 00:04:12 price than most of my competitors now
00:04:11 00:04:15 there's a few different ways for
00:04:12 00:04:17 instance this example is what's known as
00:04:15 00:04:19 bundling as you can see for the first
00:04:17 00:04:20 place for me cause you can see there's
00:04:19 00:04:22 some different you know color variations
00:04:20 00:04:25 you know material but one thing that
00:04:22 00:04:28 really stands out is this listing right
00:04:25 00:04:31 here is a bundle so it's you know
00:04:28 00:04:33 the claws some gloves and like a
00:04:31 00:04:35 silicone ambassador so they're bundling
00:04:33 00:04:37 you know three items together instead of
00:04:35 00:04:39 just selling the claws and you can see
00:04:37 00:04:40 they still have the same cheap claws
00:04:39 00:04:43 that this person right here is for
00:04:40 00:04:44 selling it for six dollars this person
00:04:43 00:04:46 right here selling for seven dollars ten
00:04:44 00:04:48 dollars so they're taking that same you
00:04:46 00:04:50 know generic item but they're bundling
00:04:48 00:04:52 together probably these gloves which
00:04:50 00:04:54 won't cost any more than probably a
00:04:52 00:04:55 dollar fifty or two dollars and this
00:04:54 00:04:56 thing is probably twenty five cents so I
00:04:55 00:04:59 mean they're probably into it for maybe
00:04:56 00:05:01 two or three dollars more but they're
00:04:59 00:05:03 fetching you know six seven dollars more
00:05:01 00:05:05 than most of the listings on here and if
00:05:03 00:05:07 you go and I pull down my Chrome
00:05:05 00:05:10 extension again that exact listing is
00:05:07 00:05:12 doing the second-most revenue you know
00:05:10 00:05:14 on this page you know the second motion
00:05:12 00:05:16 sales behind you know the number one
00:05:14 00:05:18 listing right here so I mean I just goes
00:05:16 00:05:20 to show that if you you know take the
00:05:18 00:05:22 extra time invest a little bit more
00:05:20 00:05:24 money take a little bit more time and
00:05:22 00:05:26 you know finding a product that is going
00:05:24 00:05:28 to complement the main product well for
00:05:26 00:05:29 instance you know gloves or the silicon
00:05:28 00:05:31 ambassador you know because it's
00:05:29 00:05:33 obviously has to do with barbeque you
00:05:31 00:05:35 know meat cause you're gonna be able to
00:05:33 00:05:36 outsell your competition so that is a
00:05:35 00:05:38 great way to you know how if your
00:05:36 00:05:40 listing have your product stand out
00:05:38 00:05:41 favorite card from your competition and
00:05:40 00:05:44 be able to you know create more sales
00:05:41 00:05:46 for your listing now another way to know
00:05:44 00:05:48 stand out and have your product be
00:05:46 00:05:50 unique is to offer a variation you know
00:05:48 00:05:52 if it be a different size or a different
00:05:50 00:05:54 color or something that's gonna stand
00:05:52 00:05:56 out so you know I scroll through here
00:05:54 00:05:58 for this product and I just see the same
00:05:56 00:06:00 you know kind of green variations maybe
00:05:58 00:06:02 there's a different shade of green maybe
00:06:00 00:06:04 different you know design but it's all
00:06:02 00:06:06 the same color and I keep scrolling and
00:06:04 00:06:08 then boom right here it just catches
00:06:06 00:06:10 right here this this pink I mean the
00:06:08 00:06:11 product packaging first office like the
00:06:10 00:06:13 first thing that caught my eye
00:06:11 00:06:15 they're already bundling you know
00:06:13 00:06:18 another little stone or whatever's with
00:06:15 00:06:20 it but it's pink it's pink it's rose
00:06:18 00:06:22 it's a different color than what all
00:06:20 00:06:23 these other competitors are selling you
00:06:22 00:06:26 know here's another pink one right here
00:06:23 00:06:28 they going right there but I mean I'd
00:06:26 00:06:29 say 80% of the listings on here are for
00:06:28 00:06:31 that green color so if someone's
00:06:29 00:06:32 scrolling through and looking to
00:06:31 00:06:33 purchase you know this Jade roller
00:06:32 00:06:35 they're coming through they see all
00:06:33 00:06:38 these greens they see this pink they see
00:06:35 00:06:39 this really good packaging they're most
00:06:38 00:06:40 likely going to purchase that and you
00:06:39 00:06:43 can see the price point
00:06:40 00:06:44 this product is $25 and you can see a
00:06:43 00:06:48 lot of people were selling from you know
00:06:44 00:06:51 17 you know 12 here's one for 30 that's
00:06:48 00:06:54 pretty high you know 16 12 15 so be able
00:06:51 00:06:56 to fetch once again a higher price point
00:06:54 00:06:57 they're already ranked pretty high on
00:06:56 00:06:59 page one I mean they don't have the most
00:06:57 00:07:01 reviews some people have lower reviews
00:06:59 00:07:04 some people want higher reviews but what
00:07:01 00:07:05 I'm trying to get across is that you
00:07:04 00:07:07 need to have your product your product
00:07:05 00:07:09 listing you know stand out and be unique
00:07:07 00:07:11 if it be you know bundling an item
00:07:09 00:07:13 that's gonna complement your made on and
00:07:11 00:07:14 well you need a different variation you
00:07:13 00:07:16 know if it be a different color or
00:07:14 00:07:18 different size something that's gonna
00:07:16 00:07:20 have your listing or your product stand
00:07:18 00:07:23 out against your competition is gonna be
00:07:20 00:07:25 a great way to outsell your competition
00:07:23 00:07:27 the third tip to building a successful
00:07:25 00:07:29 and profitable Amazon business is
00:07:27 00:07:32 listing optimization what I mean by
00:07:29 00:07:34 listing optimization is high quality and
00:07:32 00:07:36 descriptive if you know a title full of
00:07:34 00:07:38 points and description that you know go
00:07:36 00:07:40 over the features and benefits of your
00:07:38 00:07:42 product you know professional
00:07:40 00:07:43 photographs of your products so it's
00:07:42 00:07:46 gonna be able to know look very
00:07:43 00:07:47 presentable when on Amazon so that bars
00:07:46 00:07:49 looking at you know five people saw in
00:07:47 00:07:51 the same color and they're gonna say hey
00:07:49 00:07:52 you know this product picture really
00:07:51 00:07:54 stands out to me I'm gonna click on this
00:07:52 00:07:55 product and most likely you purchase it
00:07:54 00:07:57 so you know I scroll through you know
00:07:55 00:07:59 the first 15 or 20 products and there's
00:07:57 00:08:00 some have you know good pictures
00:07:59 00:08:03 something have don't very good picture
00:08:00 00:08:05 something have you know good titles some
00:08:03 00:08:06 have not-so-good titles you know I
00:08:05 00:08:09 scroll through and that's something that
00:08:06 00:08:10 really stands out for instance I go and
00:08:09 00:08:12 I click on this product right here you
00:08:10 00:08:13 know the pictures for this product can
00:08:12 00:08:16 you look really good it's got you know a
00:08:13 00:08:18 dog in the background it's got you know
00:08:16 00:08:19 a bigger size that people can actually
00:08:18 00:08:22 see the product see what it looks like
00:08:19 00:08:25 you know pretty good title really good
00:08:22 00:08:26 bullet points you know capitalized you
00:08:25 00:08:28 know goes over the features and benefits
00:08:26 00:08:30 of the product you know same thing goes
00:08:28 00:08:32 as well for the description which is
00:08:30 00:08:33 somewhat lengthy this is a great
00:08:32 00:08:35 description it's not too long it's not
00:08:33 00:08:37 too short you know it's it's got some
00:08:35 00:08:39 bowls in there so it really just catches
00:08:37 00:08:41 the bars I you know soft in general you
00:08:39 00:08:44 know easy to clean and easy to care you
00:08:41 00:08:46 know that's really what helps sell your
00:08:44 00:08:48 product you know this is a great example
00:08:46 00:08:50 you know listing optimization know
00:08:48 00:08:51 really good pictures you know really
00:08:50 00:08:53 good title bullet points in the
00:08:51 00:08:54 description especially when you compare
00:08:53 00:08:56 to
00:08:54 00:08:57 some of these other listings you can see
00:08:56 00:09:00 that's somewhat of a newer listing as
00:08:57 00:09:01 well it only had a few reviews compared
00:09:00 00:09:02 to you know this listing right here is
00:09:01 00:09:04 got 11 you know I don't really like the
00:09:02 00:09:06 pictures of that product especially this
00:09:04 00:09:08 one right here I mean this got six words
00:09:06 00:09:10 in your title I mean you're not gonna be
00:09:08 00:09:11 going over all the benefits and
00:09:10 00:09:13 everything of that product
00:09:11 00:09:15 you know just check out this listing
00:09:13 00:09:17 right here I mean it's got a decent
00:09:15 00:09:19 title you know the bullet points aren't
00:09:17 00:09:21 super descriptive you know the
00:09:19 00:09:23 description is minimal and there's a way
00:09:21 00:09:25 to know out sources you know I do this
00:09:23 00:09:27 for my listing sOooo I mean I'm not the
00:09:25 00:09:29 best copywriter I'm not the best
00:09:27 00:09:31 photographer so when it comes to you
00:09:29 00:09:32 know creating a listing I just outsource
00:09:31 00:09:35 that whole process and you can go to a
00:09:32 00:09:36 website you know Fiverr calm I'll try to
00:09:35 00:09:38 link that in the description of this

00:10:10 00:10:13 pictures I want you know it could be a
00:10:12 00:10:15 little bit more expensive you know if I
00:10:13 00:10:17 want like a live active model you know
00:10:15 00:10:18 modeling off my product it really all
00:10:17 00:10:20 depends you know the same thing goes for
00:10:18 00:10:24 your product listing I mean you just
00:10:20 00:10:26 look up literally Amazon Amazon product
00:10:24 00:10:27 listing and you can find a star that
00:10:26 00:10:29 would literally go through and create
00:10:27 00:10:31 the whole listing for you know from the
00:10:29 00:10:33 title to the bullet points of the
00:10:31 00:10:35 description you know the SEO they they
00:10:33 00:10:37 can even do you know keyword research
00:10:35 00:10:39 for you you know they can find keywords
00:10:37 00:10:40 they want to use in your PPC campaigns
00:10:39 00:10:42 which is where you go and you know you
00:10:40 00:10:44 advertise your product on Amazon and you
00:10:42 00:10:45 can get that done for anywhere from you
00:10:44 00:10:47 know probably eighty to a hundred
00:10:45 00:10:48 dollars from a really good one you know
00:10:47 00:10:51 there's a few sellers right here you
00:10:48 00:10:53 know has hundreds of reviews thousands
00:10:51 00:10:55 of reviews so these are a great place to
00:10:53 00:10:57 you know going outsource the process so
00:10:55 00:10:59 instead of you know trying to go out and
00:10:57 00:11:01 become the best copywriter or learning
00:10:59 00:11:03 Photoshop you can just outsource this
00:11:01 00:11:06 for a hundred to two hundred dollars get
00:11:03 00:11:07 an amazing listing and basically create
00:11:06 00:11:09 another way to hell
00:11:07 00:11:11 sell your product when comparing it to
00:11:09 00:11:14 your competition tip number four is
00:11:11 00:11:15 gonna be patience now this is such a big
00:11:14 00:11:18 thing when it comes to building you know
00:11:15 00:11:19 your Amazon business or any business in
00:11:18 00:11:21 general I mean it's not gonna happen
00:11:19 00:11:23 overnight it's not a this is not a
00:11:21 00:11:25 Bitcoin investment your investment is it
00:11:23 00:11:26 gonna double overnight and then a couple
00:11:25 00:11:28 months later it's gonna tank this is
00:11:26 00:11:30 something they're gonna be consistently
00:11:28 00:11:32 putting time and effort and money into
00:11:30 00:11:33 building over time you know consistently
00:11:32 00:11:36 you know adding new products new
00:11:33 00:11:38 optimizing your listings and building a
00:11:36 00:11:39 business that it's gonna last you you
00:11:38 00:11:40 know long term it's not gonna be
00:11:39 00:11:42 something short-term that's gonna make
00:11:40 00:11:44 you a ton of money in the first month
00:11:42 00:11:45 and it's gonna start to die off you have
00:11:44 00:11:47 to go you know find the next whatever
00:11:45 00:11:49 opportunities this is something that can
00:11:47 00:11:51 you know build you a part-time income or
00:11:49 00:11:53 a full-time income it really just
00:11:51 00:11:55 depends on the amount of time and money
00:11:53 00:11:57 and how quickly you can scale the
00:11:55 00:11:59 business when it comes to patience you
00:11:57 00:12:01 really need to have you know your why
00:11:59 00:12:02 you need to have your goal in the back
00:12:01 00:12:04 of your mind something that motivates
00:12:02 00:12:05 you because you're gonna run into some
00:12:04 00:12:07 different problems in your business you
00:12:05 00:12:09 know you might lose a little bit of
00:12:07 00:12:10 money you might make a mistake here or
00:12:09 00:12:12 there but the great thing is you can
00:12:10 00:12:13 bounce back it's not something that's
00:12:12 00:12:15 gonna no terminate your Amazon account
00:12:13 00:12:16 it's something that you can learn from
00:12:15 00:12:18 if you lose a little bit of money you
00:12:16 00:12:19 know learn from that mistake don't make
00:12:18 00:12:21 that mistake again you know you do
00:12:19 00:12:23 something in you pick a bad product you
00:12:21 00:12:25 know I'm a critique your product
00:12:23 00:12:27 criteria whatever you're doing that's
00:12:25 00:12:28 getting you those negative results find

00:12:28 00:12:32 get back to the positivity you know the
00:12:30 00:12:34 profitable results and just keep scaling
00:12:32 00:12:38 the business patience is the biggest
00:12:34 00:12:40 thing that I see people not using not
00:12:38 00:12:41 utilizing is their patience there are
00:12:40 00:12:43 too quick they want to make money no the
00:12:41 00:12:45 first day they're selling on Amazon and
00:12:43 00:12:46 you know that's not I mean obviously you
00:12:45 00:12:49 want to make money as quick as you can
00:12:46 00:12:50 but you can't have that mindset you know
00:12:49 00:12:52 throughout the whole time because the
00:12:50 00:12:53 people that you know get in there they
00:12:52 00:12:55 lose a little bit of money up front they
00:12:53 00:12:56 get discouraged and they quit even
00:12:55 00:12:58 though that a week later their profit
00:12:56 00:12:59 their product was gonna end their sales
00:12:58 00:13:00 we're going to double or they are
00:12:59 00:13:02 finally gonna rank page one for their
00:13:00 00:13:04 that search term they're wanting the
00:13:02 00:13:06 rank for you never know until you take
00:13:04 00:13:08 action and you have to stay patient with
00:13:06 00:13:10 the process you know keep building the
00:13:08 00:13:11 business keep adding products keep
00:13:10 00:13:14 consistently doing product research you
00:13:11 00:13:15 know outsourcing and all those things
00:13:14 00:13:17 are going to be a great way to you know
00:13:15 00:13:19 build a scalable and profitable Amazon
00:13:17 00:13:21 business that is gonna you know
00:13:19 00:13:23 consistently keep making
00:13:21 00:13:24 long-term you know even while you're
00:13:23 00:13:25 doing a full-time job
00:13:24 00:13:27 or while you're in high school or
00:13:25 00:13:29 college like I you're still able to make
00:13:27 00:13:31 money each and every day consistently
00:13:29 00:13:32 throughout the day even when you're not
00:13:31 00:13:34 working on the business or while you're
00:13:32 00:13:37 sitting in school for eight hours a day
00:13:34 00:13:40 working at a nine-to-five job Amazon FBA
00:13:37 00:13:42 is for you Amazon FBA is not dead yes
00:13:40 00:13:44 it is changing but you have to you know
